Like a bright pink lawn ornament~
Ahh what a great day to be out. Alder grinned like a mischievous little devil as he pondered his choices of places to go. There was that local dinner nearby that he could have a meal at. But no, he wasn't too hungry. The bar seemed like a good idea but - ooh a casino was just what Alder had in mind! That's where he'd spend the day! Brilliant idea, Alder.
Bright lights, every color of the rainbow plus a few more, and the many different sounds of slot machines turning. Roulette wheels and blackjack tables, poker and craps tables. This place had it all~ Alder stood at the entrance for a moment, his easily amazed mind being...well, amazed.
Alder had no clue where to being. Slots would be fun, he sure did enjoy spinny things. Ooooh that roulette wheel looked so cool! Alder was about to run towards it like a kid in a candy store when he noticed something odd.
There was a man not too far away from Alder at a...something table. Alder had no idea. He didn't know blackjack from poker. He really only knew how to work slot machines because he saw what everyone else was doing. But that pink hair! It was amazing! Alder took off sprinting through the place, getting some strange looks. He skidded to a halt just over his shoulder and leaned over, staring at the man's cards. "What's that mean? Put that card down! Yeah! Oh right, YOUR HAIR IS PINK AND THAT'S AMAZING!" Alder took a moment of amazdmement to run his fingers through the stranger's hair. "Is this natural? Oh my gosh, is ALL of your hair pink?! That'd be so awesome! Wait...do you speak the Gelemortian dialect?" Alder poked the other's cheek. "I bet you speak Cretan! Actually, with awesome hair like that I'll be willing to bet you speak ALL of the languages! And if you don't then oh well! Haha~"

Re: Like a bright pink lawn ornament~
The night was young as he would say. The lights flickered and danced as Caj made his way in. No one really knew him here and for once he could use the chance to get some money out of the Gelemortian populous because yeah fuck Gelemorte (even if he WAS a part of it my technicality). The people at the table believed him to be a lowly man from La Cerise and all was good for once. Nobody suspected the cardshark. Even when he wasn't home, Caj couldn't help but 'help his chances'. He was good at it, but it was't a very honorable thing. Not like Caj really cared that much. In fact it had become as impulsive as breathing and just as easy... At least...
Good holy God what was that terrible shrieking in his ear? Caj's face immediately flushed as he heard the crazed shrieks of a maniac man who he barely saw coming. "Qu'est-ce que ça veut dire? Mettez cette carte vers le bas! Yeah! Oh, c'est vrai, VOS CHEVEUX SONT ROSE ET C'EST INCROYABLE! Est-ce naturel? Oh mon dieu, c'est TOUS vos cheveux en rose! Ce serait tellement génial! Patienter ... parlez-vous le dialecte Gelemortian?"
....
..............
"What?" Was all Caj could mutter in utter shock. His golden eyes were wide with confusion and horror as this stranger was attacking his tresses without a care and simply blathering in what sounded like Satan's tongue, Gelemortian's Roeunian. OH GOD! That was mentioned in there too, wasn't it? It took a few minutes before Caj registered that the man had spoken in Cretan after. It had something to do with speaking Cretan or.. something. A few dozen blinks later and Caj was able to think again. "I uh.. I see."
What did he see, exactly? He saw a man, a young looking man with blonde hair and wide eyes that stared like a child on Christmas at him. Caj always knew he was a looker, but this was.. kind of new to him. He wasn't bad looking, but Caj had to admit he looked kind of frightening with those eyes.. that stared way too happily at him. "Not to be rude," he started. His body shifted to lean in towards his new friend. "But surely I would recognize a face as handsome as yours. I don't believe we've met before."

Haha that other man looked so shocked! Alder laughed as the other let out a simple "What?" Of pure confusion. Alder loved doing that! Was it completely necessary to tackle random strangers you meet in casinos? Of course it was! It either meant they'd like it, get flustered, or chase after him with weapons. Thankfully the situation never occurred where he had to run, but that was probably a bad thing as he'd yet to learn his lesson. He'd actually probably never learn his lesson, regardless of how it ended.
Alder continued to smile brightly at the man as he blinked. Alder's own eyes twinkled with puee delight. It was as if the poor boy had never seen different colored hair before. But that hair was too amazing to pass by. It was pink and all like cotton candy. Alder was considering whether or not it tasted like cotton candy when Caj spoke again. Ah, yeah, it was a bit dark for that anyways. "So you don't speak the Gelemortian dialect of Roeunian? Haha~ This may be fun~" Alder laughed and winked at the man. "Haha! You're not so bad looking yourself~" Alder made a point of this by picking up a lock of pink and letting it fall back. "The name's Alder. And I don't think you've told me yours. Let me guess, is it pinky?!" Well Alder hadn't intended for that to come out rudely, he was genuinely amazed. He just to continued to smile brightly and wait for the man to respond.

Re: Like a bright pink lawn ornament~
The weirdo was still playing with Caj's hair. Most people would be offended By strangers touching them and normally Caj would be more than enraged at the fact a Gelemortian was doing it, but he felt... nothing. It was assumed he just felt so much rage there was nothing there. Instant overload. Either that or he was just so flabbergasted the shock hadn't settled in yet. It was probably the latter option, but nevertheless, Caj was remaining calm. The man spoke in another language again, which Caj abruptly ignored because he fucking hated the language and didn't understand it either. BUT THEN! The man spoke back in Cretan and asked if his name was Pinky. ... Was the man dropped on his head? Caj knew his parents hated him, but THAT much? GOD NO! he would have legally changed his name. Then again, it was possible his name HAD been, but that was a story for another day.
This man was smiling dumbly at Caj, which left the Cerisian card-shark a bit astounded. Okay, so maybe he was a bit lost. Caj simply discarded the statement and wore his charming smile without flinching. A hand took this stranger's hand and lips pressed to it with a strange regal-ness to it. "Not quite," he started, after his lips had pulled away. Golden honey eyes rose back to the stranger with a bit of danger in them as always. "I'm called Caj. It's nice to meet you." Afterwords, he let the man's hand go (unless he'd pulled it free). The flatterer wasn't done. "Now, please tell me your name? Surely a man of such looks has a name to match?"

Uh oh, Alder may have offended the man! Using what little sense he had, Alder pieced together that it was probably rude of him to ask such a thing. But of course this thought didn't fester for very long and Alder was distracted from forming an apology. His little hamster could only run so fast. Actually, that brain hamster may have been a radioactive lab rat. It'd make more sense anyway.
Alder felt his hand being taken. Woah, what was Pin- er, the other man, going to do with that? Oh. Kiss it? Alder blinked as the man placed a kiss on his hand but made no move to jerk away. His little brain rat wasn't sure what to do with that one so he just stood there and smiled. Until of course, the man introduced himself. "Pleased to meet you, good sir~" Alder grinned and flashed the man back a wink. "Me? I'm Alder. Gelemortian fighter pilot!" Alder thrust a thumbs up in Caj's face before looping arouns the table with his arms outstretched. "RROOOOOOMM! PEW PEW! POW POW!" Alder halted back beside Caj and shook his hand with eagerness. "[Colored=red]So what brings ya here to Gelemort?[/color]"

Re: Like a bright pink lawn ornament~
Caj watched. Caj was appalled. Caj watched as he was appalled. The man began running around acting like a five year old who shot pistols. What made matters worse, was that now Caj looked like he KNEW the man. While he moved and jiggled, then Caj's hand spilled all over the table. The other patrons laughed and Caj had to pay. Throwing in a few bills, he gave a hard stare at Alder. What was this man's problem? He'd totally just made Caj LOSE. Caj NEVER LOST! Or at least that's what the Cerisian told him. The 'friends' of his watched as Caj got up and lightly grabbed Alder's arm. "Excuse us, gentlemen."
Once he had moved away from the group, Caj stared at the man; sizing him up. Whether the man had followed or not, it didn't matter. Caj just motioned the man to follow with a finger. Outside the building, Caj stood; away from everyone and alone until his friend joined him.. IF he did.

Re: Like a bright pink lawn ornament~
Alder watched as Caj paid out. Alder still didn't quite understand. Alder had been told that his elevator didn't go all the way to the very top floor. He had no idea what that meant. He didn't have an elevator in his house! Those silly people had no idea what they were talking about! Alder just stood there and grinned as the people Caj was with laughed. They must have enjoyed his little flight demonstration. He'd have to teach them all some day!
Oh, Caj wanted to go somewhere? But Alder had just gotten there! Alder frowned with a little pout. "Awww. Where are we going? Are we leaving? But I just got here! Alder sighed like a child that isn't allowed to do something and followed Caj. The man was being all quiet now. Alder wondered, for but a moment, if he had done something wrong. But of course the idea wasn't in Alder's head for very long. So many pretty colors and flashy lights distracted him. Specifically those slot machines. Alder promised himself a turn or two before the night ended.
Alder had to wonnder where Caj was going. Why were they walking AWAY from the fun? Now that was no good. The casino was in the other direction! Alder sighed again and continued following. Once outside, Alder rocked back on his heels and leaned against a wall. "So, wassup? What're we gonna do out here? Party's inside!" Alder grinned and pointed to the casino doors. They were missing all the fun out here! Alder sure hoped it was something kinda important. Or at least fun anyways! Alder turned and just continued to stare at Caj, waiting for the fun to continue.

Re: Like a bright pink lawn ornament~
Caj was tying with all his might not to growl in his rage. This man was ridiculous! Had he NOT realized that he made Caj lose a shitton of money? Caj NEVER lost! Well of course that was a lie, since he had indeed just lost, but that was just a fluke and not really his fault there was an attractive blonde man who was irritating the hell out of him. This of course meant he'd been distracted, but there were no re-does in the art of gambling. This man was simply... insane? Definitely part of Gele, Caj could say that much.
Pinching his nose, he sighed and looked at Alder with a frown. "You realize you just lost me 500, right?" His arms crossed and he stared at the man. "Look if you're going to be hanging around me, I need to lay some ground rules, okay?" He smirked and pat Alder on the shoulders. "Think you can handle distracting the enemy players?"

Alder just continued to smile brightly as Caj grew angry. Of course, Alder had no idea what Caj was feeling anyway. Alder never had a clue about anything, well unless it had to do with planes. But Alder didn't think that Caj was very airplane-like. So Alder just continued to smile at Caj. When in doubt, smile and act like you have a clue what's going on! Alder was especially good at that.
"You realize you just lost me 500, right?" Alder blinked, his smile faltering to a slight frown. He had done what now? He didn't realize that he had done anything. Now that was odd. Maybe the men back in the casino had not liked his little airplane display. Those jerks just didn't understand the COMPLEXITY that was one Alder Finch. Alder continued to grin as Caj crossed his arms. Again, he had no cllluuuuuueeee. Just smile and nod! "Look if you're going to be hanging around me, I need to lay some ground rules, okay?" Alder blinked and smiled even brighter, clapping his hands together in joy. Caj was going to let him hang around with him! Of course with a few rules. Hopefully Alder could remember at least one of them, he never could remember rules. But....yeah! This was going to be FUN!
"Think you can handle distracting the enemy players?" Alder's smile lit up even brighter, the smirk taking on a more devious appearance. Now that was one thing that Alder COULD do! Whether he realized it or not. Alder picked up one leg and snapped it against the other in a very stiff, military like stance. He brought up a hand and winked at Caj as he saluted. "Can do! Whadda ya have in mind, Captain?"

What did he have in mind-? "Well.. what can you do?" Caj responded instinctively. It wasn't so much a flirty line, but more an inquisitive one. He barely knew anything about this man, so truly he could know some good tricks or maybe some terrible ones, but either way, he didn't care that much as long as he got his money back. Caj was a single-minded guy most of the time. Either he was trying to get laid or trying to get money. Either of those options left him with satisfactory outcomes since they were fairly simple when someone were as suave as he is. Hell Caj could talk a miser out of his last penny if he really wanted it... thing was Caj wasn't THAT desperate for his goals. Sure, he wanted things and he could get them relatively easy but the only thing he indulged in was sexual promiscuity. He was such a pervert,
"I mean if you have any ideas, please let me know, otherwise you could do just about anything that would distract the enemy, aside from stripping. That would distract me! Haha!" Caj smirked and motioned back to the casino. "Now if you can handle that, we can go back in."

"Well... what can you do?" haha Alder grinned mischievously. He could do anything if instructed to do so. As for his own little tricks, he was sortta hopeless. But he was wonderful at distractions! He just didn't realize when he was being distracting. "Not quite sure, Commando. But I can figure it out when we get in there!" Alder then flashed that goofy little smile of his. Talent for anything other than flying was quite lacking with Alder, but he figured if it came right down to it he could swipe the money. He was a rather fast runner.
"I mean if you have any ideas, please let me know, otherwise you could do just about anything that would distract the enemy, aside from stripping. That would distract me! Haha!" Alder giggled, in a very manly way mind you, before shaking his head. "Aw man. But that wouldda been way more fun!" Alder then attempted a little pout, which was a major fail as he just continued to smirk. "Now if you can handle that, we can go back in."
Alrighty then! Time to get back to the fun! Thosse pretty colors and such were a lot more interesting than the street outside. Alder saluted Caj once again and very nearly skipped back through the door. "Woohoo~" Alder ran forward and burst through the doors excitedly. "The party has retttuuurrrrrned~! Ahahahaha!"

They returned to the building with some apparent understanding between him in the crazy man who HAD been bugging him. Hopefully things would work out well, now. Caj held his normal cocky grin and slid up to the table. His eyes shown seductively at the men at the table, while he picked up the deck and dealt the next hand. "I'm back, gentlemen. Shall we begin?" His smirk would not vanish as he eyed each with the same devilish charm.
"Why so happy, Caj? Get some that quick?"
Caj simply laughed. "If I scored I wouldn't be here. Sorry sex is more important than money." Caj grinned and threw a hand to each player and one to himself. "Texas hold'em, Aces high, threes are wild. Let's see how much lady luck likes you guys today."

Alder bounded along behind Caj like a poor lost puppy. It was amazing that this guy had let him hang around him! Alder thought for sure that he might have made him leave or something. That would have been terrible. Absolutely terrible. Alder entered and saw that the peoples were still there at the table. Yay! They hadn't left! Alder stood obediently behind Caj, bouncing on his heels as he tried to control his excitement.
"Sono tornato, signori. Vogliamo cominciare?" What? Caj had said something but Alder had no idea what he was saying. Probably some other strange language that the men at the table spoke. Alder kinda wished he knew what was going on but at the same time, the cards and what not were way more interesting. The conversation continued for a moment between the people and Caj, Alder just continued to stand there with a goofy grin on his face.
Time to get down to business. Alder zoomed around to the other side of the table and tapped one man on the left shoulder, while zooming past him to the right. He made his way around the table before resting against a pole nearby. "Woah, that game looks fun..." Alder stared at the pretty colors before shaking himself. He had a job to do! He had almost forgotten what it was but he sorta remembered that it had something to do with....something. "Oh! Right! The card peoples." Alder mumbled aloud to himself, though thankfully none of the people at the table could hear him.
Alder went back over to where Caj was and leaned over him, resting his head on Caj's shoulder. "Caj, baby, I love you, but it's like I have two hearts or something I'm so torn~" Alder stepped back and brought a hand to his heart very dramatically. Hopefully Caj would take the very obvious hint. Alder then came back to Caj's shoulder and placed his hand on the table. "But to me...you're like a diamond in the rough, babe. The king of all, really.
