BRIEFING:
→ Xander’s circle has four rectangles at the north, south, east and west points. In the centre, there is a larger rectangle with a circle in the centre, both covered by an “X”. The transmutation circle is located on Xander’s right index finger.

Xander wears a bracelet on each wrist, his left containing mercury nitrate and the right containing ethanol. He has five light-green beads of 3cm on each bracelet. This means he holds 15cm^3 of ethanol on his right and 15cm^3 of mercury nitrate in his left.

Xander’s transmutations combine mercury nitrate and ethanol to create fulminate of mercury. This is a crystal-like substance which is highly explosive.

SPECIAL ABILITIES:

→ Xander pulls off a bead from each bracelet, and flicks them between his right index finger and middle finger. He then holds his hand up like a child’s pretend gun and snaps his fingers together. This shoots the beads forward. As they brush the transmutation circle, they are transmuted into fulminate of mercury, creating a crystal bullet that flies towards Xander’s enemies.

Xander can also vary the potency of his crystal bullets but changing up how many beads he uses at once. One of each will create a blast with a surface charge of a flashbang. Two of each holds similar power to a hand grenade. Three of each contains enough power to blast through a solid wall. Four of each can clear an entire room. Lastly, all five of Xander’s beads at once can explode with the power and radius of a car-bomb. The latter levels can be life-threatening to Xander as well, so he rarely uses them.
