A Magician's Light Empty A Magician's Light

Post by Bronze Degan Fri Apr 06, 2012 5:46 am

Humanity is drawn to light to fire, sense the beginning of time we have gathered around camp fires, huddling for warmth, using it to keep us safe and to drive away the unseen creatures in the night. Later we used it as a weapon, killing burning and destroying with the tool that gave us life and meaning. Regardless of how it was used, we where astounded by its savage beauty, entranced with its dancing flickering flames and obsessed with the power it gave us over life and death. But more then that, it gave rise to imagination, to waking dreams and hallucinations seen just out of the corner of your eye. Simply put, fire and the light it created was magic, a magic that had astounded people for ages and continued to do so to this vary day, and no one understood this better then Marcus "Bronze" Degan.

He stood alone among a crowed of people a torch in his hand, the flickering light illuminating his grinning face. As he stood there color played out around him, phantom images conjured from the vary depths of the viewers imaginations, and as the images began to fade from Existence new life came into them and they burst into sparkles and fell onto the heads of the assembled crowed. He began to move then, in a slow graceful dance, his lights dancing above him in tandem with his steps, the phantom dancers waltzed to and fro right above the crowed, forming and reforming into new and whimsical forms. Finlay he stopped and tuned to address his audience, his face all smiles and glimmering eyes. He bowed with a flourish, his images did that same....and then as swiftly as they had come, the disappeared like so much smoke into the wind.

A Magician's Light Empty Re: A Magician's Light

Post by NIN Fri Apr 06, 2012 6:33 am

NIN's eyes shined as she saw the fire rise up and dance around. They looked like the souls of dolls prancing around, glad to be free of their porcelain masks and off to make stars in the sky. Suddenly they poofed and the show was over. Even though she was disappointed it ended, she clapped until her hands stung. What a performance! What was it? It had to be magic, it just had to.

NIN rushed forward, crawling through the thicket of legs and bags to get to the man. She must ask this man how he made such a feat. If she did that, then maybe she could make one or two too! As she pushed past leg after leg, it was getting more dangerous. People started shuffling and walking around instead of standing in place. Suddenly they walked faster all at once and all NIN could do was ball up on the ground until they went away. Even though she was tough (in her mind) she was still susceptible to being unnoticed by busy feet.

After such an adventure, she hopped back up and ran to the man, her white hair flapping and her big black coat moving up and down, chopping out pieces of her lower face as she did so. Finally, she reached the man, and looked up with big, red eyes filled with wonder. "How did you do that?! Is it magic?!" She just knew it had to be.

It was funny how she came upon this man. She had finally slipped away from her new family in the headquarters. Not to run away, but to walk around on her own like she used to. She was feeling a but claustrophobic after Waka-san ordered that Naka-nee needed to watch her every move. It was nice that Naka-nee was helping her get dressed instead of putting a gun to her head, but NIN still wasn't used to this thing as responsibility. Especially when it came to people. Then as she was about to hack into an ATM, she saw a big crowd and stumbled upon a beautiful sight. She needed to know this man's secret. It would be fun to show Naka-nee when she came back and see the dark woman's emotionless face hurriedly find out how she learned it under lock-and-key. It was always fun to get Naka-nee confused. Even if she didn't show it.

A Magician's Light Empty Re: A Magician's Light

Post by Bronze Degan Sat Apr 07, 2012 5:19 am

He smiled as the crowed parted after a polite applause, his smile beaming at all of them as they passed by, it was moments like this that he lived for, when he could bask in the satisfaction of knowing he had pleased his spectators, and that his performance was yet again enjoyable. Moments like these where few and far between in his life...so when they did manage to come around well, he just let it role over him, and loved every second of it.

As he began to move away a little girl ran up to him, all smiles and sparkling wide eyes in a coat that may have been just a little to big for her. He broke out in a grin lit up his face. Ohh shes sooo cute!! It was all he could do not to reach out and ruffle the little ones hair..."Magic? Magic! Well yes i guess we could call i that...." He leans in a little closer and mock whispers in her ear. "But that was nothing....Here let me show you a real trick!" He couldn't help but laugh, bring such joy into the eyes of the worlds youth was one of his most sacred goals, and Opportunities such as this didn't come around all that often and he would die before he let one pass him by.

He flared his hands, both seemingly catching fire(in actuality it was just ionized gas particles) from no where, Blue and green flames that jumped from finger to finger. Suddenly the fire jumped from his hands and floated slowly to NIN criss crossing in the air. Then slowly turning into sparkles they flew into one of her coats many pockets(Where Bronze had deposited a bar of candy while the girl watched the light hover in the air) and seemingly vanished into thin air."You should check that pocket...my little friends love leaving presents for sweet little girls"

A real trick? You could call it that? What ever this man was spewing, she couldn't understand. What she did understand was the fireball rising up into the air, twirling around. What a sight! How could anyone do that? The odd man was controlling the fire like it was nothing. She wanted to know so badly. Quickly, the fire dropped into her pocket and disappeared. She pulled open the pocket and there was a small rectangle was hidden away in there.

"You should check that pocket...my little friends love leaving presents for sweet little girls"

She pulled out a chocolate bar from where the little fire had fallen and her eyes were wide. " A fire friend that can give away chocolate?" What a wonderful thing to behold! She put the candy away (but not before taking a few nibbles at it) so she could give some to Waka-san. NIN turned to the man with a confused from. " Thank the fire peoples for me, but what is magic really called?" She caught on when he said "you could call it that". Plus, she wanted to know if she could make fire friends too.

She didn't know anything of alchemy or of alkahestry. Even though she was surrounded by it and lived a not-so sheltered life, the subject of that matter had escaped her. If she knew, would she live a different life than now? Well, it wasn't exactly like she was living a normal one right this moment. Talking to a stranger who gave her candy and a light show; she asking what his magic was really called.

Ohh wasn't she inquisitive ,bight eyed, and bushy tailed? He wondered what such a young child was doing out so late with out her parents, Was she lost? Did she run away from her home?Or worse yet was she an orphan forced to live on the untamed and dangerous streets of Kyoto? He nearly shuddered at the thought but managed not to let his worry show. What could he do if that was the case? Take her to an orphanage? That was hardly a way to help the poor girl, he had heard to many horror stories about those places to ever willingly send a child there.

He laughed at her questions realizing she understood his turn of phrase better then most children would...But what to tell her? He really didn't know what she would understand...but if he kept it basic maybe..."Its a science, an art called alchemy, and with it you can do wonderful thing's magical things" It truly was magical....but sadly so many people turned alchemy to deadly means instead of the creative that it was truly meant for.

He started to look around searching for the girls parents...but he didn't notice anyone paying them the slightest heed...so maybe she was out all my her self...."Where are your parents? Because you really shouldn't be out all by your lonesome." If need be he'd take her to a police station or something....at least there she would be safe Intel some one came to pick her up, now that he'd had a closer look at her she didn't seem to have missed to many meals and she wasn't as dirty as someone who had been sleeping on the street.

"al-chem-mey..." She sounded out the word. So that was the power of magic. What a wonderful thing. NIN wondered whether or not she would be able to do it. She hadn't gone to school yet, and it was smack dab time that she needed to go. Oh well, another problem saved by the words "It's not my problem". Then the man changed the subject.

"Where are your parents? Because you really shouldn't be out all by your lonesome."

Oh great. That question again. She looked the side, showing her uncomfortable face clearly. Should she tell him that she was an orphan that got picked up by the Yakuza? Or that the reason she was picked up that...that...her eyes got hazy. That was the signal to avoid that line of thought. Like always.

NIN searched her mind for a lie. She wasn't good at lying. Maybe because she never had to. " I, uh..." an idea popped up. " I slipped away from my nee-san to go get some money." She looked down. "I wanted to pay her back with the clothes she bought me today. I didn't want it to be taken out of the Head quarter's bank." Gah!! She said headquarters instead of family! No. No no no no...he'll catch on.

She shot her head up and covered her mouth as if she said a cuss word. This entire time, her eyes have been in the dark or illuminated by fire, showing brown. Now, a car passed by and her eyes shone blood red, like they always were.

Post by Bronze Degan Sun Apr 08, 2012 7:38 am

The way she said the ward, sounding out each and every syllable may have been the cutest thing he had ever heard."Yes Alchemy" His smile grows a little wider as he listens to her...then falters a bit. Why was she lying? And...did she say headquarters? To top it all off, how exactly did this little girl plan on paying this nee-san back? There where just so many questions running rampant in his head, and if there was one thing he hated it was unanswered questions and unsolved mystery's and that seemed to be the only thing he was getting tonight.

Well lets see if we can solve some of them then... putting his hands into his pants pockets Bronze regarded the girl with a slightly more stern gaze, "Its not polite to run away from your Nee-san no matter your intentions, for all you know their worried sick about you, and are out searching for you right now" He sighed after he was done talking and shook his head."You cant disrespect those who care for you like this, it isn't fair to them or to you."

What was he to do? Just let her make her way home on her own? No...she may have made it this far safe but she might not make it back and he wouldn't be able to live with him self if he just let her wonder off."We need to get you home...If you have their number ill give them a call and have them come and pick you up, if not ill have to walk with you home."

"Its not polite to run away from your Nee-san no
matter your intentions, for all you know their worried sick about you,
and are out searching for you right now"
Good, this man was taking the grown-up way of talking to her. Not directly asking her to explain herself, but to address the main problem directly as if to say " I know what you did there". NIN tried to reply "But-" It was no use, he was on auto-pilot right now.

"You cant disrespect those who care for you like this, it isn't fair to them or to you." NIN stared at him as if to say "Great, caught again.". She couldn't tell him she was apart of the Yakuza and say she needed to hack the ATM machine like she always does. Was it okay to talk about the Yakuza? Was she in the Yakuza or just property? She didn't know. She thought that to be in the Yakuza you would need to get a suit-like tattoo. She was too young for tattoos, but she could buy the sticker kind...

"We need to get you home...If you have their number ill give them a call and have them come and pick you up, if not ill have to walk with you home." That snapped her out of her trance. " N-no!! Don't tell Waka! Naka-nee will get in trouble if she's not here!" She hurried for a solution to tell this alchemy man so neither side would go done guns blazing. She looked at the ATM machine, down the road to her house and back up at him. Another idea popped into her head. "You can walk me home, I just need to get some money." Her tiny black shoes clacked rapidly as she ran to the ATM.

She whipped out her iphone and pulled two wires and a pocket knife out. She took out the mirror with a slap of the butt of her knife and proceeded to open up the main panel. She then hooked a few wires to an output on her phone and started pressing the screen quickly. In the front, about 40,000 yen popped out and into NIN's hand. She pocketed the money and started to put everything back in it's place. Even though many children knew stealing was wrong, NIN never learned that lesson. She only knew about things she could get caught doing and things she couldn't. After counting the amount of money, she waited for the man to walk over. She was done, all she needed was an escort to her new found home.

A Magician's Light Empty Re: A Magician's Light

Post by Bronze Degan Mon Apr 09, 2012 2:07 am

For some reason she was scared for her guardian, like she would get hurt if this was found out....Who could possibly punish this little girls parent if they lost track of her? And better yet who would want to? Most would consider the worry alone punishment enough. But maybe she had an over protective mother...or maybe this nee person was a older sister or brother, he really couldn't be certain, the things they added to names in this country always seemed to escape him.

Now what was she doing over there..She was opening the atm and..."That's not something your average six year old would know....." He honestly couldn't believe what he was saying, but hey even kids as young as her needed money now and again so who was he to judge? Hell he had done worse by far by the time he was little older then her. But that may have been helped along by the place he was raised, He wondered if the little girl had grown up in the circus as well, but looking her over he knew that wasn't the case.

He walked over once she had finished her little stunt and held out his hand for hers so that he could keep track of the little thing."That's one neat trick you got there little one, but i think its best if we get going now, don't want to loiter at the scene of a crime.Now...which way are we going again?" He looked around making sure they didn't have any company before looking back down at the girl."By the way my names Marcus but most people call me Bronze" Whats your name?"

A Magician's Light Empty Re: A Magician's Light

Post by NIN Mon Apr 09, 2012 11:56 am

NIN smiled that the man didn't make a fuss. Most people would be horrified. She grinned at his praise. Maybe he wasn't so bad after all. Actually, she was excited that anyone took an interest in her skills. "That's not something your average six year old would know....." She giggled as she took his hand and began to walk. " That's cause I'm six and a half." NIN began to walk down the road, wondering if Tomoe woke up. Ice gripped her heart. Oh god, the look on that lady would be enough to turn anyone to stone when someone ticks her off. Well, NIN never seen Tomoe mad before, so this was completely derived from imagination. Which in NIN's mind only captured half of Naka -nee's wrath.

"By the way my names Marcus but most people call me Bronze" Whats your name?" Bronze was an odd name. She remembered a nice comic about vampires. There was these two characters that were transvestites. One was named "gold" and the other "silver". She thought for a second and came up with a conclusion. "So your the other transvestite in the manga? I thought you had to be good at makeup to be one..." She smiled. It was nice to know someone from a manga. Though why would a guy from a manga be making light shows in the middle of the street? There were a few holes in her reasoning, but it was good enough. When it came to friends and comics she was like any ordinary child. " My name's NIN. I don't have a nickname except for "little one" or "little girl"." She scrunched up her nose and her lips began to pout. She didn't like it when people called her little girl, though she felt kind of adamant when they say little one. It made her feel like an elf or a half-grown pineapple when they say that.

As they turned down to the bad side of town, she remembered she didn't reply to the other thing he said. They began walking closer to the HQ, though as they did so; they saw a lot more trash on the ground and a whole lot more people down alleyways. One of them had a trashcan on fire. NIN breathed in the night air. Filled with the smell of what she thought was cheeseburgers and seaweed. " I want to know how to do the stuff you did. Can you get books at the library?" She gasped as if realizing a certain truth. " Or is it classified and you'd have to kill me first before telling me?"
She whispered to him in that manner, having the face of untmost seriousness that would send anyone laughing if they knew what she was talking about. Though, to her this was all real.

He blinked as she mentioned the transvestites, he was at a loss for words...how did she know such a word? It must be all the manga that comes from this country....some of it was just not proper for young people. His nick name was a little odd...but this may have been the weirdest reaction he had ever gotten from some one, children where full surprises."Well..not really but if that helps you remember, i think i can except it." He smiled back and fallowed along keeping an eye out for any type of trouble."Well nice to meet you NIN...you have an interesting name..." In fact it was hardly a name at all but he wasn't going to say that no,no,no.

She lead him into a seeder part of town, he couldn't help but wonder what type of person would raise a family here, he could see night walkers trying to flag him down, he felt the eyes of muggers watching his every move...it was not a safe place, yet this little girl had gotten through unmolested some how. Odder yet she seemed incredibly at ease, it was just getting more and more interesting.

"Well you won't find any serious books in library's, some basic one maybe but you need a teacher willing to let you know there secrets, their style." He laughed at her tone not realizing she was being serious."And if your lucky enough to find a teacher well you may be able to learn the art, not every one can." In fact only about one in three people where able to grasp the intricate science of alchemy. Fewer still where competent enough to be considered more then dabblers, but it was better not to tell the girl that."How much father NIN?"

A Magician's Light Empty Re: A Magician's Light

Post by NIN Thu Apr 12, 2012 2:11 am

NIN thought of what the man said. Secrets? Style? Few can learn it? She didn't know it at the moment, but she was using her brain to try to convince someone to do something for her. It was a skill that shouldn't have even surfaced until at least twice her age in current. She kicked a can into the alley, hearing the echoing sound as the Aureguese rap music came into listening distance. There became a lot more frequency in cars as they slowly made their way deeper into the labyrinth. NIN could see lights up ahead in the shape of dragon's eyes. That was one of the branches that the Yakuza leader controlled. Well, it was his car anyway.

NIN looked up at the man and his odd hair. He helped her all this way (though if it was up to her, she would rather not be prancing down the streets with a stranger) and brought her home. Now she needed to find a teacher. Someone who knew what he was doing, who knew what to do with alchemy and had style. She thought and it quickly came to mind as they walked closer to the extremely dangerous entrance of the yakuza Headquarters. " I live in there. " she pointed to the door where two buff men in suits were guarding the front entrance. While having sunglasses on in the middle of the night. Yup, yakuza. She skipped in front of him, letting go of his hand. She placed her tiny ones behind her back and looked up as if she was examining a painting...or trying to get what she wanted. " If you teach me alcha-magic, I can teach you how to hack into the bank mainframe without being detected by anti-spyware and cookie-cutters..." She was using advanced tech speak for a reason. If he knew his stuff, he would realize that so did she. After all, he now knows she's more dark than he perceived.

A Magician's Light Empty Re: A Magician's Light

Post by Guest Sat Apr 14, 2012 6:57 pm

Six hours from home became the new home, of that, Mako was fucking sure...since his new room was still loaded full with boxes of things he didn't particularly care about. Commuting all the time to the main HQ of Edo was a BITCH and he was fucking DONE! Riffling through loads and loads of pure SHIT that he had brought from his old home in Hyogo, he finally located his secret stash of caramel-flavored pudding. THAT'S RIGHT, caramel-flavored. It was sold at only one store in Amestris. Seeing as crossing the border was too complicated, he only obtained some on occasion... This was the fucking occasion. From nowhere, he whipped out a spoon and began feasting upon the too-small package that had remained cold in the cooler. In no time, he finished and stared listlessly at all the things he had to unpack himself due to his refusal to let anyone else touch his shit. Plus, making his men do something so trivial like that was so-- "OOOOIIIIII Bunji!"

"Yes Waka?" The older gentleman flew in, inquiring immediately to the reason as to why he was suddenly needed. Mako motioned to the cancer stick between his lips as if Bunji was an idiot for not realizing.

"Light." The man with the colorful koi tattoo on his face lit the cigarette and expressly left, having served his purpose. Makoto, relatively fed up with the situation of his new soundproof room, stood up with a huff, blowing out a long stream of smoke. Hell, this place didn't even reek of yakuza yet. The fuck. No one had worn the place in for him EH!? He kicked a box, cursing when he realized he wasn't wearing shoes and stubbed his toe instead. FUCKING OW? This room just screamed hangover at him...since that was the first and only time he had stayed here. Normally, he was sober enough when drunk to navigate his way back, but...not that time. Well, it was possibly that one time that lead him to this minute decision; he wanted to be closer to the action. Long car rides drove him MAD. Fuck that shit he was livin' in Edo now. It was not only more regal than his place in Hyogo, but it was also BIGGER. Hell yeah. Makoto was satisfied--he was MOAR than satisfied.

Best stroll through the neighborhood: reaffirm the cowering gangsters that knew the wrath of the Wakagaishira of the Yamaguchi-gumi! Fitting himself with his flashy, black, pinstriped suit, he dug his feet into a pair of black and white pointed shoes. Out the door and into the night, Mako sucked the last life out of his cig and blew it at the moon. That was his fucking howl, marking their territory with honor and pride.

"I live in there." ...Hanya? That voice. Oh yes, that was Nin the...eight? seven? five-year-old? There was a number before 5...she was that. Yeah. She was capable of murdering people, was an orphan, and...other stuff. He adopted her so, by his own words: "So she doesn't break". According to Mako, that meant he believed her fragile despite her murderous strength and reckless abandon. He knew people like this. The Yakuza was not just the Yakuza, but a band of miscast people all without homes, abandoned to the harsh winter winds of society's disapproval NO LONGER. He turned his head to the side, flipping back his collar as he approached not just the little girl, but also the strange foreigner she was with. "If you teach me alcha-magic, I can teach you how to hack into the bank mainframe without being detected by anti-spyware and cookie-cutters..." Ah, so they were just cooking. Wait, but that guy was an outsider...a stranger nearing the vicinity of the Yakuza. WHERE WAS TOMOE EEEEHHH!? He hissed and briskly romped the remaining distance past the two guards whom were paid to remain stoic to outsiders until within arms reach, wherein they would be shot.

"No cookies will be made. What the fuck are you doing, Nin!? WHAT DID I TELL YOU? NO DESERT BEFORE DINNER."

He couldn't believe it....The building they had stopped in front of was not only sinister but heavily guarded by swank men in even swankier suits. Whats more, each was caring a rather large caliber gun of some sort...he could just barley make out the bulges of it under there coats. He looked down at the little girl he had been "guarding" and wondered what the hell he had gotten him self into.So she lives with yakuza thugs....Doesn't seem to know the meaning of "right" and "Wrong" and sounds like some sort of disturbed techno-mancer....WHAT THE FUCK? He had to wonder if this entire situation was some how induced by one of the any number of drugs he currently had flowing in his system....If this girl was a manifestation of his inner child, who cared about nothing more then pleasing ones self, ones protectors and loved ones and didn't think about rules and regulations aside from how to get around them.

If that was the case he had walked into the worst part of this dangerous town talking to him self, and looking like a complete and utter psychopath.....Which wasn't necessarily a bad thing thugs as a point of pride didn't generally pick on the mentally infirm. He gave NIN the most serious look he could manage at that point, checking every little detail, scrutinizing ever remark she had made....no...she isn't a hallucination....if she was....well im pretty sure shed be taller.....with breasts.....and a figure...more then likely dressed in a bikini...no this short boyish girl is most diffidently not a hallucination of mine!

He was glad she was interested in his art he truly was, but he had to shake his head, he just didn't have the time, or the resources for a student at this point..and he wasn't sure if he wanted to be teaching her anything at this point...there was just so much he didn't know or understand about this situation. "Sadly im only in town for another month or so, and thats hardly enough time to even touch on the basics....." His eyes caught a man walking towards him...and he was what he pictured his inner inebriant would look like, nicely dressed and from the looks of it slightly intoxicated....but only slightly. He shook him self back into the present and glanced in between NIN and the approaching man and shrugged."Sooo...this is your kid i take it? I found her wondering around a ways away from..."He glances back at the building and just manages to hid a grimace"Home, so i thought id help her get back...this is a rather ruff part of town as im sure you already know." It definitely wasn't the sort of place a compartment family would raise a child but.,....He really shouldn't judge!! Look at his family life! One kid im Amestris, another living with his grandparents in Gele...and still another spending their summer with his mom and dad.I really hope the Karin doesn't pick p the same nasty habits that i did from them....

First the man sold her wout to waka, telling him that she was out without Tomoe and then he won't teach her alchemagic! This was some bull! Then Waka came out and said she couldn't make cookies. Did Waka not know about computers? NIN thought for a moment. If Waka found out that she was gone out of Tomoe's sight she didn't know what he would do. She blinked a few times to get in the moment. Should she act? Acting would be better than explaining cookie-cutters. She turned to Waka, with a big pout and a cute puppy dog eyes at him. " But Wakagashira~~," she complained " Can I just have one cookie? Please?" She could see that he was in a better mood than before. She didn't know why but she never knew why grown-ups were like that at dark. Maybe they needed darkness to function? No, then Tomoe wouldn't be alive since she stays up a lot longer than most with her manga. Whatever it was, she knew she could use her kid voice to at least let him think about giving her a cookie due to his good mood, while he ignores the fact that she had just brought a stranger dangerously close to the hideout.

Then the man started speaking something garbled. She turned to him, glaring. What was he doing? Faking insanity? "Home, so i thought id help her get back...this is a rather ruff part of town as I'm sure you already know."Oh, he was speaking a different language. She knew that this man had known what Wakagashira was. Either that or she just assumed he did. She turned and crossed her arms like she saw a woman do at the supermarket, keeping those same eyes on Waka. "But you had pudding before dinner." That was a no-brainer. Waka-sama always had pudding no matter what. Maybe that was the reason why he was acting weird. Lack of pudding disorder?

"Sooo...this is your kid i take it?" GOD that Aerugese was terrible.

"N--" OH WAIT. "Yeah, kinda I guess." He looked down at NIN with a sheepish expression grating against his face. "Right? I don't fucking know what to call her; 'er name's NIN. All capital."

"I found her wandering around a ways away from..." THAT WAS A PAUSE. THERE WAS A PAUSE HERE. IT WAS DEFINITELY A PAUSE. "Home, so i thought id help her get back...this is a rather ruff part of town as im sure you already know."

"The FUCK do you mean by that EEEHHH?!" Makoto hissed, killing the space between them with two steps and a thick hand on the guy's shoulder. "I make this part of town RUFF. It's fucking rough for a REASON--so foreigners like your sorry ass don't wander in where they don't belong." His teeth grit together, but he let go, vicious caramel eyes searing into green. Yeah, no this was no fucking joke, "but I am relieved to have her safely back HOME. Let me--"

"But Wakagashira~~ Can I just have one cookie? Please?" DID HE LOOK LIKE HE HAD ANY FUCKING COOKIES!? Yeah, sure I keep cookies in my fucking pockets at all times for your eating pleasure. FUCKING GUESS AGAIN. He raised an eyebrow, shifting his attention quickly from the guy and to NIN. It was his 'why me?!' look that screamed 'are you fucking kidding me?!' rather clearly, but if she didn't get the message...

"What did I just fucking get done say--"

"But you had pudding before dinner." SECOND TIME HE WAS INTERRUPTED WHAT THE HELL WAS THIS EEHHHH!? He swallowed it, seething, but possibly valued the life of the interrupter, thus showed nothing. The guards exchanged looks, ready at any given sign to end either one of the two's lives. Mako turned slowly, hand shaking as he placed another cigarette between his lips. His gaze flicked to the guards, but placed job over duty, choosing not to call either of them over to light his shit for him. He prepared his alchemy for activation, yet hesitated due to lack of concentration.

"Pudding doesn't count. EVER. Got it!? Pudding--PUDDING is..." HOW TO DESCRIBE IT?! "jiggly. It cannot be defined, UNDERSTAND?" He cracked his knuckles and snapped, sucking in sweet fire alchemy and blowing out a smokestack to the heavens. Oh yeeesss. That was what he needed to regain his calm.

He glanced back to...the guy. "Why are you still here, EH? Run along."

Pudding? Why...why was he so up in arms about a dessert....What ever he didn't need to get distracted right then.

Well that was just rude! He went out of his way to return this guys daughter and all he gets is a lame ass attitude? No. No that just wouldn't stand. He was Marcus Degan, a man whos name was known and slightly respected in more country's then this man had a name for. Who was he to to talk down to him?

Still...he didn't like this situation in the slightest...He was out numbered, out gunned and on their home turf. So best to keep a cool head and well keep that head on his shoulders. So he took a deep breath, to calm his nerves firmed up his stance and looked the man in the eyes. He knew he had to play it safe, but he also had to keep his dignity, no one pushed him around unless he wanted to be pushed and this wasn't one of those instances.

The man confirmed his hunch...Yakuza, the only group in the region he could think of who would gain anything from keeping tourism down in an area. Well he seemed to have wondered into a nest of vipers...but that was more then alright...he was rather fond of snakes. But just in case....hed ready a rather spectacular light show...just in case he needed to make a quick get away.

Another question presented its self then....This kid was living with a bunch of career criminals....Now that couldn't be healthy at all!! Sadly there was little he could do to help her and for all he knew what ever "help" he did manage to give would end up doing more harm then good.

"Why the fuck do you think im still here?" We hoped he knew because he he no fucking idea so he just started talking...When in doubt flabbergast his father used to say."NIN and i where in the middle of discussing some business arrangements before you came up and interrupted, now be a dear and kindly shut up while we finish our discussion so i can get out of your hair eh?"

That's...what you call keeping a cool head Marcus? Thats how you dont start a scene? Im going to get my fool head busted and id deserve it after blundering like that!! Nothing left to do but keep going..maybe he'll be to stunned to send those goons after me....He turned slightly back to NIN still keeping a weary eye on the man with the fancy tie."So NIN like i was saying, im here another month or so, with that time i can get ya the basics you need to know and hopefully get a few book's to help after i head out along with some of my personal notes....in return you teach me some of those nifty ATM tricks....." Well way to run your fool mouth Bronzy.....Way to run your fool fucking mouth....

A Magician's Light Empty Re: A Magician's Light

Post by Guest Mon Apr 16, 2012 9:43 am

Mostly, the main reason of this mishap and the cause behind of all of this misfortune was actually taking a bath alone once waking up from sleep unaware that her little underling went out on her own. That was really bad and Tomoe didn't have the slightest knowledge about it. Regardless, the lady in black and white took her time inside with a notice on the private bathroom of "Don't disturb" and no one dared really to interrupt an Onna bugiesha from her bath plus being female and all, the mainly male body of the yakuza was cautious.

Regardless, everything that began must have an end and for every end, there shall be a new start that follows. The Mangaka finished her cleansing and dressed not in her usual sailor school outfit but in a mostly black Kimono decorated by a floral patterns of dull white -Indeed, quite the monochromatic lady she is- however this time, there was the unusual addition of a new color that is her crimson Obi. With her hair tied up in a pony tail and bangs that overshadow her black pearl eyes with a longer strands on the sides and lastly a flower looking accessory. In such setup, she looked more feminine than often. Drowned in the smell of herbal essence, stepping quietly through the halls of the headquarters with a black Zori and a white Tabi to the room designated for her staying while reading a Bakuman manga.

Entering the room, she didn't find NIN. Where did she go? Probably somewhere around. Tomoe thought to herself that she needed to give NIN a nick name since NIN-chan was pretty not easy to pronounce. Something that would resemble NIN, her crimson eyes were the most notable feature aside from being an albino. So she decided that NIN is going to be Rubi. The intended word was ruby but there was no 'by' sound in Aerugese so it became Rubi.

The first thing the Mangaka did upon entering was opening the window for the spring breeze to enter and start the flirting however she saw something that she didn't anticipate. Rubi was down there and not alone, Waka was there as well and a foreigner. And most importantly, the person who was supposed to be looking after the crimson eyed albino was not there for she was taking a bath just moments ago and currently viewing the situation from a third person view.

Mazui..

Well, she didn't have the time to change clothes. Tomoe hurried down quickly as possible with the limits of her kimono and Zori giving her, add to that she needed to maintain her grace so it took quite time to reach the ground level and the Aerugese vixen got there when the Gaijin was stating that there was an agreement between the two of them, NIN and him about a mutual cultural sharing of talents.

Mazui another one of them depressing thoughts hit her mind like a brick still she maintained her cold demeanor with no hint of distress, she approached the group unaware about the tensions between the two males specifically for NIN towering her from behind. Rubi would hear her Oneesan's voice with a tone of mischief however void of anger.

Nandato! though Tomoe didn't wait for an answer though, instead she greeted her waka with a bow with an 'Ohayou gozaimasu' or a 'Konbanwa' depending on what was the time as such period of the day. Then she turned to the foreigner and done the same.

Doumo sumimasen, Waka-sama. there was no avoiding it and she can't bring excuses and lie to her own superior. There are some people that the Kitusne couldn't possess. I have failed as Rubi-chan's guardian. Her tone was rather apologetic still her face maintained it's doll-like features.

Ah, Rubi-chan..what have you done?

OOC:

For those who watch anime as dubbed.

Mazui: Not good.
Doumo sumimasen: I'm sorry bothering you, but thank you very much to be so considerate. -Something in those lines-
Nani: What!
Onna bugeisha: Female samurai.

The other things could be figured through wiki. Tomoe is dressed in a kimono and there is a picture for it in her application so it could be easier to see if the description was lacking. And, I am not as proficient in japanese like Aki, so if there was mistakes. Please correct me.

A Magician's Light Empty Re: A Magician's Light

Post by NIN Mon Apr 16, 2012 10:20 am

Everything was falling apart. At least Waka got distracted with her small complaints that he wouldn't know about the ATM thing...until Bronze clarified it! Just as Bronze started talking back to Makoto and then telling NIN she could be helped. She was happy, but as soon as he mentioned out loud in front of waka about their agreement she smacked her face and let gravity drag the hand down her cheek. Face palm. All she could do was nod and agree as the two men started getting all fired up. Of course Mako would retaliate due to him being....well, Mako. Then a few people would come out to see the fight and finally one would be the winner and nothing would be accomplished but some hurt feelings and blood on the concrete. Lovely. All she could be sure of is that she had enough money to pay back Naka-nee.

Speaking of which, here she goes in her beautiful kimono. The shine of the street lamps and other lighting made her hair shine and her light skin glow. " Naka-nee!"

Nandato!

Her voice rang out like a gong, assuming all of the attention towards her. NIN's eyes sparkled a bit... and then went crashing down to reality as she started saying that she failed as her guardian. Lies! Was Waka going to believe this? Naka-nee was taking a bath while she was out robbing an ATM! She was about to call out false until Naka-nee said something.

Ah, Rubi-chan..what have you done?

It wasn't a mean tone, or even a good one. It was that same flat tone that meant nothing. Though right now, it sounded to NIN more like curiosity. She had to spill the beans. " Well,...uh.." She looked to the side and pulled out a wad of cash. " I got money to pay back the lady that let us use the card...and I ran into Bronze who was doing a light show in the street...and his light spirits gave me candy...and I wanted to learn how to use alcha-magic...." This was all sounding a bit off as she said it. " Then he offered to walk me home or let a policeman take me home..." She smiled nervously. " I thought this would be better..."

She was quick to pull out the main gist of the situation, handing the money to Tomoe. Then she realized about the chocolate! It was going to melt if she kept it in her pocket. She hurredly took out the bar of candy and felt a moist squish. With a look that could only be decribed as "ew" she pulled out a squishy once-was bar of chocolate. " Aw...I was going to save this..." What a waste of candy. Besides that, she hoped that Waka wouldn't think of Tomoe as a bad guardian and punish her instead. She tried to dig up what she knew of the yakuza punishments from the movies and manga she read. She remembered once there was a movie that a Yakuza boss' cigar clippers weren't in his pockets as he sat down with a client. So he brought the underling that was in charge of it to bring a spare and cut the underling's finger off with it! NIN's eyes began to tear up. Though, it would just look like she was crying about the candy and not the made-up fear of her imagination.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH?! What. Was. That. WAS THAT AGGRESSION HE SENSED?! Pleasant sarcasm--rude remarks--inappropriate addressment!?!? "Why the fuck do you think im still here? NIN and i where in the middle of discussing some business arrangements before you came up and interrupted, now be a dear and kindly shut up while we finish our discussion so i can get out of your hair eh?" ......................................... Mako was flabbergasted to silence, gaping like a fish out of water. With a stupid look on his face, his eyes wandered about the scene of this strange sequence of dialogue. ...Da fuck? "So NIN like i was saying, blah blah blah BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH."

"Are you fucking done yet?" Mako tapped his watch, eyes ablaze in a black haze of imminent death. "Because I'm about to end that fucking sad excuse for a life you are mindlessly blabbing about." He cracked his knuckles, hissing under his breath as he continued in a voice NIN had never heard from him before. Dark fury dripped off every word, lapping at every annunciation. He crossed the distance, hand previously on the man's shoulder, guiding itself to his collar where he clutched relentlessly with hands only a man in the goddamn yakuza could ever dream of possessing. Demonic laughter passed through his lips, his face leaning in close as he stooped to bore straight into the stranger's unnerved eyes. His Kansaiben accent thickened, the words loose and violent as his nature was. "Who the fuck do you think you are EEEEHHHH?!" He slammed his free hand into the cement beside the man's head, causing a crack to form in it at the same time the air smelled of smoke, increasing in temperature while the transmutation on his back faintly glowed. Honestly, hell if he knew what he was doing at the time. "'Get out of my hair?!' ...What the hell does that even mean EHHHH!?! The only thing I allow is jellow and--etooo... *gel and--ehh... THINGS THAT AREN'T YOU." He let the man's collar go, growling like a rapid dog. The only reason why his corpse wasn't now floating in Edo Bay was the nearly depressing fact that he had accompanied NIN back to HQ. Too bad...HE REALLY WANTED TO FUCKING KILL SOMEONE RIGHT ABOUT NOW. It really was too bad. All well. Maybe next time.

"Sumimasen, Waka-sama." Makoto spun around, eyes rolling in their sockets. Eh--Oh, it was just Tomoe.

"Yo," he murmured, not hiding the anger that sapped into his voice, sticky like blood got when it wasn't immediately washed off one's shoes. "Yeeeah you fucking did. WHAT IS THIS SHIT?!" He motioned towards the man whose name was still unknown to him and gave Tomoe a cocky, Wakagaishira, do-something-about-this look.

"I wanted to learn how to use alcha-magic...." "I wanted to learn how to use alcha-magic...." "I wanted to learn how to use alcha-magic...." "I wanted to learn how to use alcha-magic...." "I wanted to learn how to use alcha-magic...." ..................................................Hanya? Was it really that simple? Police officer vs random stranger that didn't know WHERE HE FUCKING STOOD. HM. Mako tapped his chin, leaning down toward NIN.

"It's called Alchmestry, RIGHT!?" It wasn't a question; the answer was always yes. ...Ouch his fist kind of hurt. "Heh heh heh... do you want to learn Alcha-magic or do you want......a cookie?" Yeah, he was that fucking good.

[Japanese lesson (YAY): Mazui = bad, but you would typically want to use Yabai in this situation. NINchan is two syllables whereas Rubichan is three so technically Rubi is more complicated to say than NIN, especially since Rubi is foreign and NIN is actually a Japanese word. Nan da to = What did you say? (impolite form) It's pretty much slang. Also it's night time so she would say Konbanwa. No 'doumo' before sumimasen, and no 'u' in domo. ^_^ hope that helped. <3]

A Magician's Light Empty Re: A Magician's Light

Post by Bronze Degan Sat Apr 21, 2012 7:59 pm

Now who in the blazes did this upstart think he was? He could stand the bad attitude and insults..well mostly stand them, but being man handled and threatened? NOW that was an entirely different situation. So this Waka-Sama person thought they where tough shit did they? Ohh how he wanted to just lay into him....But that punch had done more then just hurt the mans hand, it had cracked the actual cement of the building...And to top it off he could smell the smoke and feel the heat come off of him.Well hes ether having an incredibly intense hot flash....Or he has some sort of flame/heat based alchemy.... That was good info to have given the precarious nature of his situation...

He brushed at his shirt after he was let go and glowered at the man. Did i just fucking get growled at? Well then...lets hope he isn't rabid....

Now...the question is...to back down...or not to back down. What to do....what to do? With a mental coin toss Bronze decided on a course of action, flippant and aggressive it was."I think im the guy who was nice enough to return your fucking kid to ya, so show some fucking gratitude or get the fuck out of my face" He looked apologetically at NIN really quickly...He really shouldn't have been using this type of language around such a small kid...But he figured if she lived with this guy well, she probably got an ear full of a lot worse on a daily basis."Ohh and one more thing, Touch me again and we WILL have problems.." He Smiled then, but it never reached his eyes....Finally he dared to look at the woman in the kimono....Well wasn't she a beauty......Nonononononono keep your mind on the buisnes at hand, or you WILL end up as nothing but a soot stain... Still..he couldn't help but admire her rather....feminine figure....So this was NIN's guardian....Interesting.....

Alchemisrty? Well he was almost right...."Ohh and by the way its called Alchemy...not...Alchemisty." Did he have to correct the man? Some times i...just need to keep my big mouth....shut.... Well it was to late now...the words where out and there was nothing he could do but keep on...well rambling."But i can understand how you could get in confused, it is chemistry of a sort"

Well wasn't this an awkward little situation..And he honestly didn't know what to do....He had never felt so out of place and he really really didn't like it. But what else could he do but ride the wave, and hell he would probably find that he loved this entire escapade after it was all over....but until then well....He really wished he was some place else.

A Magician's Light Empty Re: A Magician's Light

Post by Guest Mon Apr 23, 2012 7:18 pm

OOC: Oh, yes it did help indeed, domo arigato gozaimasu. Please keep them coming since I like to use Japanese when RPing Japanese characters to add realism to the post. So set me on the correct path, if I stray. And sorry NIN, I never knew that 'NIN' was a name of Japanese origins due to my lack of knowledge.

IC:

So much had happened before she would even draw close from the duo but from their aggressive exchange of words, Tomoe was able to get somehow half the picture of what was happening, for certainly the remaining half of it was told later by the young albino who completed the drawing and made the two halves one and whole.

Indeed, there was too much profanity in the air but that how things went within the Yakuza and she was accustomed to her surrounding environment. So, it was quite understandable from her Waka-sama to do what the Waka-sama usually do. However, the foreigner's words were full of aggression as well but it was not that comprehensible form the Aerugese vixen's point of view. Of course, Tomoe was biased and aligned to the Yakuza's cause whatever it lied, still she wasn't Bronze's enemy yet.

An eyebrow raised, surprised by her master's tough display and crack on the wall. Lady luck was not reprimanded for her actions maybe because her Waka was merciful or he didn't hear her right. Regardless, it went less painful that way. However, her Waka showed irritation combined with burning malice, it was that emotion they called 'anger' towards the newcomer with no hiding to it and gestured her to do his bidding. But before she would even look at the bright light spy, NIN spoke the reason behind the recent adventure that could have put Tomoe into the situation where she had to cut her own finger.

Simply, NIN wanted to pay back Villetta for using her 'unlimited' card which was a responsible act full of credibility and so she embarked on a journey of hacking quest and that where she met bronze - the 'light magician' - who joined the group later on after charming the heroine of this tale with arts of light and intimidating of an undesired company of one of them 'good' guys, if he didn't escort her. Watery were her eyes and sad was her theme, she presented Tomoe with the money and showed her the candy which he intended to keep but to her dismay, the candy was no more.

Tomoe knelt on the ground to be on par with NIN's height receiving the money from her petite hands which was quite the sum, Waka-sama wanted to out-charm alcha-magic with a cookie, a viable tactic which depended mainly on NIN's reaction. The Gelemortian tourist did something that he shouldn't have done, he called her younger sister as 'Fucking kid' it wasn't really that wise. Tomoe turned her head wise so that her cold glare would reach the foreigner eyes and then his deep perception as a whole to feel a chill coming from a frozen hell. But she felt his regret and remorse towards her underling so she turned back to NIN.

Keep the money, NIN-chan. The lady dressed in the black decorated kimono in white would return them back once the albino small hands were ready to contain them and without further explanation leaving them for later plus adding up an inquiry of why the need to learn alchemy. Standing up and remembering that she was dressed in the widely known oriental attire, out of modesty she adjusted the upper side of her kimono swiftly with her hands to cover what was bare from her skin to the neck and that when she advanced to the foreigner.

On the contrary, I think Waka-sama meant Alchmestry as it is. Tomoe somehow envisioned the word as a combination between alchemy and alkahestry. Regardless.. she bowed with her hands -one over the other- reaching for her upper section of her lower limbs assuming the famous Aerugese formal bow Domo arigato gozaimasu, I am really grateful for returning NIN back to us. he wouldn't be able to see her doll-like face features thanks to the light falling over her hair which in turn hid her black pearl eyes then she stood tall soon after.

Unfortunately though, I have to warn you not to agitate the master of the household, lest misfortune befalls you and I am quite the misfortune. she wasn't aggressive, he could only feel that from her tone of voice since her emotionless didn't help much. However, he would feel that she was advising him more than threatening. If he was reasonable enough, on her part she would try to halt any needles violence though perilous the task was. If he continued to do otherwise, then he would fall from favor. At such point, she wouldn't even know what would even happen next.

It's indeed up the 'ijin' -foreigner- to constrain land himself since after all, this is Yakuza land.

A Magician's Light Empty Re: A Magician's Light

Post by NIN Tue Apr 24, 2012 3:25 pm

OOC:
It's alright. Though I guess you now have more to go off of with my name. NIN means literally "being". Or "Human" and is a word that is always supposed to be accompanied with something else. Like the sub-word "Ja" for soldier, or "taka". So it's really awkward for someone versed in Japanese to just say "NIN" without saying something else. So it would be funny for people to add things after NIN's name. Like NIN-daikon, or NIN-ichi, or aka-NIN, samui-NIN. ( radish being, first being, baby human or cold being)

IC:
After Naka-nee gave her the money back, she clutched onto the hem of her kimono. Keeping her distance from Waka-sama. It had only been a day or two since she joined the yakuza to be taken care of, but was still not used to the swearing. Waka then tried to bribe her with candy. She shied away from his words and into the folds of Naka-nees nice smelling clothes. She wasn't scared or shy right now, she was just pouting because they were being mean to the light-man named bronze. It wasn't his fault he was stupid enough to get in a fight with Waka-sama and Naka-nee. Though she guessed that it was partly her fault that he got in trouble in the first place. She was glad that at least the guards didn't mow him down with their guns and use his body for shooting practice...or whatever yakuza do with the bodies afterwards. Things were getting heated and even Naka-nee had a spark in her eye after Bronze slipped a bad word next to NIN's name. She shuffled with the dark woman as she confronted, NIN's small hands shaking with frustration. She couldn't help it.

She hopped out from her big sister's robe and between the trio. Looking up at all of them but only managing to look only at two of them. Waka-sama and Naka-nee. " Wait! Why are you being mean to Bronze?" Yes, she was on a first name basis with this strange man. Why? Because she couldn't remember his first name. something foreign. " He helped me get home, he gave me candy, and he wants to help me make friends with light spirits! You can't be mean to him if he's that nice." She had a strange way of what "nice" was, but then again she thought that being dragged in by the Japanese mafia and forced to live under their roof was nice too. " Bronze is saying that stuff because he's not used to rudeness in this language. He's used to normal people. People that don't smash walls." She didn't know him all that well, or good intuition. She was just making this stuff up so they won't make him leave or pummel him to little bronzy bits.

She turned to face Waka who was probably fuming already with her outburst. She knew she had some leeway because of her age, but not by much. " I know that a good person like Waka-sama would be happy that he brought me here and not the police. Since that would mean the police would have to come here." She wondered if she was going to get hit for this. Maybe, but she stood her ground. Her red eyes dark red with determination and her tiny pink lips turned up in a scrunched pout. In her mind, she was an immovable force of nature!

A candle. That man who hadn't-told-him-his-name-yet-and-even-if-he-did-Mako-wouldn't-remember-it was flying the coup in an un-called-for rage that was oh-so magnificent to the eyes like a flame to the fucking candle. OH YESSS. He found himself staring at the blood on his knuckles in celebration. Finally an idiot stupid enough to pick a fight with him! "I think im the guy who was nice enough to return your fucking kid to ya, so show some fucking gratitude or get the fuck out of my face." Makoto felt a wry smile crumble onto his face, teeth showing in malice just like a rabid animal. HOLLA.

"You're not even sure who you even are and you're fucking asking for gratitude from the Yakuza EHHHHHHH!?" The raven-haired man hissed loudly. "How could you think in a hillion years we would ever--"

"I am really grateful for returning NIN back to us." ...DA FUCK WAS THAT ABOUT?! He flung his body around, hair whipping viciously across his face, chestnut eyes in a blaze and-- Tomoe was bowing to a man eager enough to insult him, ask for thanks, and lump NIN in with him. FUCKING KID, EH?! She wasn't NEARLY ready to be complimented so severely by an opposing outside force. Maybe semi-fucking kid was more accurate at this point, but SHE WAS TOO SOFT. With more training, certainly she would reach their level...eventually. For now, 'fucking kid' was UNACCEPTABLE; fucking was just too good, and a seven-year-old... HELLNO WAS HE GOING TO LET THIS GUY GET AWAY WITH THAT. But something else irked him more.

"Eeee, you tryin' to correct me or somethin'!? If I say it's Alchemestry, it's FUCKING ALCHEMESTRY." He wiped his bloodied hand casually on a hankie revealed from his pocket. Instantly, it bleached hue was splotched with vibrant red. He freed his good hand and pressed his fingers together in front of the man's eyes. In his other, he tossed the hankie on the ground carelessly and drew out a cigarette. Threatening the man with his capabilities, Mako snapped his fingers, flames sprinkling out through the air around them in a blaze. His eyes lit up, fabulously glinting in intrigue. He leaned forward and lit his cig, blowing out a skyward haze of white.

"Wait! Why are you being mean to Bronze?" The fire sailed away, leaving it's captain mildly aghast. ...Mean? MEAN!? SHE THOUGHT HE WAS BEING MEAN...to the color Bronze? The hell was that supposed to-- "He helped me get home, he gave me candy..." Mako zoned out, eyes rolling up in deep contemplation for all of 90 seconds. That's man's name had to be Hronze! THAT WAS IT; IT ALL MADE SENSE. Kind of. Candy? SHE TOOK CANDY FROM A STRANGER?! FUCK, he had a lot of GODDAMN shit to do now. He refocused his eyes and shot Tomoe a we-really-need-to-hammer-something-into-NIN's-head-she-reminds-me-of-me look. "He's used to normal people. People that don't smash walls." HAHAHA normal, what was that?! He felt his lips curl and something akin to laughter came out at some point before a string of curses and a few displaced glares at directionless ants on the concrete. HAHAH... smashing walls, who did that? Certainly not normal people, right!? Right.

"If you're worried about the police, the head branch officer of Edo is inside now," Mako said perfectly calmly, fixing his collar to add to the smooth switch to aloof mannerisms. Clearly, NIN was not yet well-adverse in the comings and goings of person-people in the Yamaguchi-gumi. Hah, if they didn't have insiders in the police force, they would all be so fucking dead right now. "Yeah, sure, you can keep him. Only cuz I like that fucking blaze. I have to go entertain...guests now." He turned away, pocketing his hands and staring listlessly at his expensive gold watch. So much for his goddamn stroll.

Ahh well...it appeared he had said something wrong....the way that woman was now staring daggers at him...Made him think that she would just LOVE to put some daggers into him....And then just as suddenly....well she does him a honor...or what he thinks is an honor...by bowing...and then threatening him. Well these people seemed to be masters of saying one thing and doing another...Well two of them at any rate, this Mako fella he wasn't even good at saying something....But it was best if he kept that little tid bit of info to himself....Fire was hot...and hed hate to burn his pretty face.

Putting a smile on his face he just...listened of a good while...And well looked over the older woman in a covertly manner yet again.....He need to get it through his head that he couldn't hit on every semi-attractive woman he met...."Your more then welcome miss.....And ill try not to upset the "master" unduly....To spare you the strain of trying to catch me"

Luckily no more then a few second after that...NIN came to his rescue with her girlish charms and well sheer cuteness...He had a feeling that if she hadn't been there well...he may have been six feet under at that vary moment! I need to give that girl a hug...and some more candy...

When The big "scary" Yakuza boss walked away, after saying....The little one could...keep....him....WHAT? He was no dog or cat...No one would keep him...But he had already said he'd be sticking around for a little while...GOD DAMN IT!!! Well he could be a liar and just ditch town after everything was all said and done...But that would breaks the little girl heart...and he wasn't in the business of breaking hearts, at least not usually. There where those odd cases when crazy bitches where being crazy bitches...But that wasn't the case now.

He looked at the girl and smiled a little, so small, so fierce...It reminded him of his own little ones, who where all like their mothers thank the heavens."Ahh well...now what?" He honestly didn't know what was going on let alone well...That wasn't entirely true he had agreed to train and teach NIN but other then that.....He was drawing a complete blank.
