DESCRIPTION:
Riku has a body of a teenager, but his mind seems far more intelligent, like he would've been living for centuries. (Explained more on personality). His body is pale, like he would have been living in a basement for his whole life. His eyes are dark blue and his mouth is always on a mischievous smile. It's like he's always plotting something. Riku is always wearing a suit, no matter where he goes. It's usually dark colored with a red tie. His hair is very dark, perhaps even darker than black. He also has a silver ring on the index finger of his left hand. In the middle of the ring, there is a transmutation circle. Riku can activate it by touching the ring with his thumb.

PERSONALITY:
Let's starts off with the most notable thing about Riku. He is a genius, even for an alchemist. His IQ haven't been able to be measured, because Riku has fooled all psychologists who tried it. He has always liked alchemy, because it's very complicated. In other words, it gives him something to do. Riku is very isolated person. He can't find anyone, who would be on his level of intelligence. He only does something for his own personal benefits, so he can't be trusted. Riku also doesn't believe in moral, because it depends from time and individual. His ultimate goal is to be written in history; to be remembered forever. And he believes that he can do it.

Riku has been trained to a gentleman and gentleman he is. He is polite, wears proper outfit, drinks tea. He tries not to hurt women (remember, tries) and avoids battles. However, he is a realist. He knows, that he can't avoid battles forever. And if he can notice it coming, he tries to prepare a plan, no matter how simple one. Even though Riku can keep his head calm, he always needs a plan or a strategy to take action. It may not always seem like it, but he isn't completely emotionless. For example, he tries to avoid unnecessary killing, as an act of empathy. Also, he spares some persons from sad news, not wanting to upset them. His own emotions can be seen, when the feeling of some emotion is overwhelming.

HISTORY:
Riku was born into a rich family seventeen years ago. His father was a businessman and mother just a woman, who married Riku's father in hope of money. Riku was being trained to be a businessman even since his birth. However, they didn't see him often, because they traveled a lot. Instead, butlers and maids took care of him at their family mansion, ensuring his growth. This was the main reason, why he wasn't quite close to his parents. Riku learned very quickly, so he was on his way to be a successful businessman. Ironically, it was his intelligent mind, which stopped this track of the future. You see, when he was reading history, he noticed a person called ''Philosopher of The East''. He was the said founder of the alchemy. This woke up Riku's interest into alchemy. He started to read books about alchemy, which were found at their mansion's library.

When Riku reached the age of 10, his parents started to take him with them to their journeys. It was to learn some skills in life. At this point, Riku didn't have any interest to become someone, who sells items to another people for money. So many alchemists had been written to history books, unlike merchants. (Well, maybe some merchants. But still, there were more alchemists). Still, those journeys were excellent to gain more information about alchemy. When Riku was 12 years old, he tried to talk to his father about his interests. This wasn't a successful attempt. Ignorance of his father made Riku to make his decision. If he would want to continue towards his journey as an alchemist, he would have to run away. This didn't bother him, as he wasn't very close towards his family anyway.

Few months later, an opportunity came. They were on a trip at Amestris. They were traveling with a train and were heading to it's Central city. After a few stops, Riku decided to get his plan started. It wasn't very complicated one, but it worked. Just after they left the third stop, he asked to go to a toilet. He got permission, because it wasn't suspicious or something. While in there, Riku took a paper from his pocket. He had copied a transmutation circle from one book just for this. He pressed it againts a wall and part of it transformed into a door, which could be opened inwards. Riku, obviously, opened the door and jumped off the train.
