Learning (Kelly)
Words. Some words confused Qin. He just didn't understand some of the terms used in day to day conversation, and though he could pretend otherwise it bothered him. After all, as Emperor he had to be in touch with his people and how could he do that if he could not understand what some of the younger people where saying? It was kinda odd, but he felt out of touch with his own generation, he felt older then all his peers and it showed in the way he spoke and acted. Not that he could be anything else considering his station, but he wanted to know exactly he was missing out on. To do this he had enlisted the help of the one man he was sure could and would teach him. Captain Kelly.
He moved through the halls of the Jade Palace heading to the sitting room they had agreed to use the day before. Not knowing exactly how this torturing session was going to go he braced him self for the worst and wished for the best... He needed this to help distract him from other more weighty matters.

Words. For a man his age, Kelly had been subject to a wide swathe of words in his day, some formal, some informal, and some just downright nasty. But it was apparently the tertiary of those castes of lingo that he'd need for today, as the emperor had requested a private audience with him for the purpose of making sense of the slang of today's youth. Honestly, Kelly had no idea why he needed a middle-aged fart to teach him while he was still a PART of today's youth... Ah, he'd never get people and their odd motives. It was somewhat amusing, though; the very first emperor he'd served, the father of Ace and Spade Aeries, had asked him the exact same thing, nearly some twenty years ago, back when Qin was probably building sandcastles and enjoying the wonders of candy and ice cream and such. Okay, if he didn't feel old before, he definitely felt old now... But he was old, aged in the mind, so to speak, so it was fine.
He walked down the halls of the palace of jade, sounding the familiar notice of his arrival to all around; the slow and steady tap-tap-thud of his three-legged footstep, his shillelagh in his right hand, just for the off-chance he may have actually needed it. Really, he just liked having it, especially having it on hand. Never know when someone might attack you, y'know? Plus, it made him a bit more recognizable, if the strangeness of his hair and the scarring on his face didn't do that for him well enough, as it was. Anyways, he came up to the sitting room and rapped twice on the door with his walking stick, before stepping in. Sitting, as the very nature of the room intended, he set his cane up against the wall and looked to Qin.
"So... Where should we start?"
