BRIEFING:
→ Silver Lining is an 86cm long soprano flute, made, as the name would imply, out of pure silver. The bottom was hollowed out to insert the steel blades that turn it into a deadly defensive mechanism. They are activated by a single switch in the middle of the device, and it takes a little practice to learn just how to position it so you don't accidentally cut yourself. A transmutation circle is inscribed by the mouth piece, which activates her alchemy upon playing a single note. She takes pride in taking good care of it, cleaning and polishing it regularly. It received its name not too long after it was given to her, when she played it at her grandmother's funeral. Silver Lining has given her much comfort, as she often plays it when nothing else seems to help, and it is one of her most prized possessions.

SPECIAL ABILITIES:
→ The specially reinforced steel blades can cut through most any building material, which makes it ideal for quick escapes. Whenever Ari is cornered and needs to get away in any sort of city setting, she throws the flute into a wall, giving her a foothold to climb up and away. She hates doing this, as it dirties up Silver badly. She'll always take a long time afterwards to give it some TLC, buffing out scratches and everything.
