A Strange occurance (Roarke) Empty A Strange occurance (Roarke)

Post by Silvac Fri Mar 22, 2013 10:11 am

Silvac sighed softly before turning a cigar over in his fully metal hand, he took a moment to inspect the item before slowly moving down the street of the busy carraig downtown. He had a lead from one of the pirate contacts he worked with in the last city he passed through. He had to do several favors to get this information so he was hoping that it was true. The fact that a chimerae worked for a government body seemed a little absurd. In fact it seemed totally absurd to the pirate. He was fairly certain that they were just simply passing him false information but he had to check anyways. He let out a small huff before moving down the street brushing a few people to the side so they wouldn't walk right into the chimerae. One person wearing an uniform said something that the chimerae didn't understand so he simply brushed it off. He felt a hand tug on his sleeve and he turned his head to see the same person holding out their hand as though expecting something. Narrowing his eyes silvac pulled out his identification that he had received from his captain.

The chimerae was pretty damn lucky to get this from him, in fact he wasn't even sure what the hell it was supposed to do. The person in uniform seemed pretty damned surprised to see the chimerae pull out such a thing. Noting that he still had the cigar in his hand the chimerae put it in his mouth and with a casual grind of his fingers made enough sparks that one of them caught the cigar's end. It took a pair of puffs to get the cigar properly lit. The chimerae huffed softly as the man kept speaking in words he couldn't understand; huffing in the scent a brief moment of remembrance sparked on him and he turned slightly so that he could get going as soon as he was done speaking. (hopefully getting his identification back at the same time)

I hope that's good enough for you.

The man blinked and then opened his mouth once or twice in surprise; not expecting the chimerae to even be able to speak. The man grimaced a bit and handed the Identification back to the chimerae whom secreted it into his pocket. Silvac puffed his cigar and stared at the man whim waved him off speaking in a rather angry manner as though he wanted trouble for some reason. The chimerae could only guess at as why; to be frank the chimerae probably scared the hell out of the man.

Yah' it's fine. Just hav it on hand if somefin asks fer it all right?

The chimerae nodded gently and slowly continued down the now emptying street. People probably considered him a horrible dangerous and didn't wish to be around him. He didn't blame them... he could probably rip people limb from bloody limb.... Probably? No it was certain that he could if he had reason. The chimerae shook his head softly before turning his head towards the manor that was quickly approaching to the side. It wasn't the largest manor that he had seen but it certainly was amongst those he considered to be worthy of someone of status... or even size in most cases. The chimerae brushed off such thoughts before touching the gate to the manor, it seemed to open on it's own accord. It rather surprised him to say the least and with a tiny shrug he slowly started walking down walkway that eventually led up to the manor.

The chimerae paused to note that the grass seemed rather well cared for and that there seemed to be no issues when it came to the lawn. He felt as though this was a human establishment instead of a chimerae one. With a bit of a sigh he walked up to the door and while using the knocker tried to summon whomever lived there. He just hoped that the person was friendly enough to not try to kick him off their doorstep and maybe even let him stay for a few nights. He hoped they didn't expect him to talk to much though considered that most longer sentences caused his throat to act up horribly. He did however attempt to make a greeting of some kind so it wasn't odd just to hear the door knocker, his voice cracked terribly in the middle of the word so he had to basically re say it.

He-hello...?

Ah, home. Home sweet home. Monstrous Manor (a working title) was quite the place. He had actually become quite fond of the sprawling house that fit him so comfortably and the acres of land that surrounded him. The front lawn of the house he kept in some decency, but he let the back and the forest run wild. Just like himself. Roarke was spending his weekend the way he liked, doing nothing. Or something. It really didn't matter. There was no schedule or anything to tie him up. He was free to sleep all day or run around in circles or well... you get the idea. At this time he was stretched out in his bed after taking a beast-nap. He was a little too lazy at the moment to get up and do much of anything else. Yet... he figured it was probably for the best. His stomach rumbled to make note of the fact that it had been some time since breakfast. Mmmm... lunch!

Roarke bounced off of the bed and burst through the open double doors of his bedroom. He took down the hall at a gallop on all fours and cleanly jumped down from the top of the staircase to the bottom, the ground shaking a tiny bit as he landed. He was about to turn towards the kitchen when he stopped. Had the door just... been knocked upon? Whaaaaaaaaaaaat? Roarke never got visitors. Ever. He wasn't sure if he should be excited or nervous. Well! He wouldn't know for sure until he answered the door. He rose up on his hind paws as he pulled the door open. ...Whoa. WHOA. Roarke's eyes widened. That was... a lizard? Or something? With a tail! And wearing CLOTHES. With a cigar. Okay, what the fuck? Roarke for once... was speechless. He just stood looming over the lizard-man on his front steps, looking down at him in confusion. There was someone else... like him?

Silvac was glancing off to the side when he heard the door open, letting a loose smile come to his lips he turned his head and was about to adress the person when he noted he wasn't going to be talking to their head... for at least another foot or so. He tilted his head a bit and blinked a couple times, this chimerae was HUGE in comparison to silvac, hell even the tall man whom was second hand to his captain wasn't even this tall. It was rather unerving; he didn't feel his flight or fight instinct go wild for once since he was meeting something that was (probrably more so) just as dangerous as him. The chimerae offered a hand for a shake the smile widening a little bit, he hadn't met another proper chimerae like himself; which was more than likely a good thing all considering what he'd do to one that decided to try to take him on. The other chimerae simply stood there looking incredibly surprised. Turning his head a little silvac let out a long sigh that was mixed with the cigar smoke. He bit his lip a little bit before gesturing widely towards the land that this creature seemed to posses or reside on(probably the latter considering that most chimerae didn't own lands...) He wanted to avoid speaking but he had a feeling there was going to be a lot to talk about.

He felt a small twinge of anticipation though, maybe this chimerae might have some answers for him. Maybe they knew a little alchemy before they turned or even had someone who like some of his friends had offered to change him back? Judging by the location though it seemed like that was unlikely they were doing any kind of research here. The lohkyn chimerae bit his lips for a moment and then be grudgingly spoke; his vocal cords cracked most of his words midway making him sound utterly ridicolous. It didn't help that ever since he had left the ocean's healing grasp his throat seemed to be at constant assault.

M-my na-name is Sil-Silvac Skalla-Skallagrim. You may of.. he-heard of me? I fou-found out that there was a... another chimerae h-here. (Not a stutter just his throat irritates him so much he needs to stop xD; )

After he was done speaking he grimaced a bit and coughed into a hankerchief to stop any blood from spattering on the lawn. The blood stained the already well used piece of cloth before the chimerae grimaced and stowed it in a bag on his belt. He was glad that he had that for moments like this to be frank....

M-my na-name is Sil-Silvac Skalla-Skallagrim. You may of.. he-heard of me? I fou-found out that there was a... another chimerae h-here. The voice coming from the lizard-dragon-thing-man was enough to kind of snap Roarke out of his shock. He reached a paw forward, giving the guy a hearty handshake. He even managed a polite-ish smile, although his canines did poke out rather oddly. But that was normal. Roarke finally decided speaking was also a good I did. “Roarke Moray. No idea who you are, but you sound you need a serious glass of water, dude.” He stepped back from the doorway, gesturing to Silvac to come inside. Sure, Roarke could have been wary. But the guy had looked a little shocked when he had seen Roarke... clearly he'd never seen someone as big as him. And if the guy caused trouble, Roarke could always just snap him in half. No big deal.

Without really waiting for Silvac, Roarke stalked off in the direction of his kitchen. The kitchen was average-human-sized... or at least the appliances were. Considering he was in a mansion, the kitchen was big and therefore easy to move around in. He opened one of the cabinets, grabbing at one of the giant travel mugs he had bought in bulk. Going over to the sink he used one claw to flick the faucet on. He stuck the mug under and when it was full, he flicked the facuet off again. He then thrust the mug towards Silvac. “Here.

Silvac felt his throat buck again after the hand shake was completed, pausing for a moment he brought the handkerchief out again and coughed viciously into it. The blood was a dark red and he grimaced a bit. It was getting worse... he usually just rode through the coughs like they were nothing but something was up. He slowly followed the large chimerae taking in note of the size of the mansion while he seemed to briskly walk somewhere. After a few moments the pair of them arrived at what apperaed to be a kitchen, the water bound chimerae would of said something if his sides didn't suddenly buck. He gripped the side of one of the counters rather hard but tried his best not to crack whatever the hell this stuff was made of. He graciously accepted the water and downed it, THAT seemed to do the trick. Obviously he just had to keep hydrated and he'd be fine. Clearing his throat instead of yielding pain seemed to yield relief; the lizard like chimerae steadied himself against the counter and fished around in his pockets noting that he still had that ring and picture with him from way back in the desert. The chimerae glanced down a bit and sheepishly smiled before speaking, his voice still cracked but at least it wasn't making him feel like he was going to due or something...

Well if yo...you haven't heard of me that's for the best.. the lizard like chimerae gulped down another glass of water and sat on a chair his hand clenching on his fur coat. He stared up at Roarke which was rather surprising, hell it was surprising that there was a human taller than the lizard chimerae. He doubted something could beat this creature on height, or muscle for that matter judging by the pecs this one seemed to have. Setting down the mug he smiled warmly his eyes betraying a tiredness that only a weary traveler could get. He licked his lips in a very human like fashion before setting his hands on his knees. He spoke in a low voice trying to avoid hurting his vocal cords even more.

Well... that's good. People don't like it when a killer is about... there was a small sigh accompanied by that statement. I thought... to check For another one like me... You're the first... I've seen that.. silvac was wracking his brain for a way of saying this that didn't make his sore brain overwork, thanks to those damned alchemists his mental processing as of late was becoming difficult. The coughing started back up and he gripped his chest as the pain flared grandly. He hated his body sometimes and instead of continuing the chimerae screwed his eyes shut for a moment trying to block out the pain.

Well if you...you haven't heard of me that's for the best... Roarke wasn't entirely sure why it was a very good thing that he had never heard of this Silvac. He was mildly concerned about how terribly ill the guy seemed with the coughing and the blood. Roarke didn't want this stranger to cough up a lung and die in his kitchen. Majorly gross, yo. Well... that's good. People don't like it when a killer is about... I thought... to check For another one like me... You're the first... I've seen that... A killer? Seriously? He openly admitted to being a killer of people. He never exactly admitted that he was also a killer and slightly heartless in his most mass killing. It wasn't his finest moment, of course. Maybe this Silvac was more comfortable with his killings or he just found it easier to handle. Either way, he sounded terrible.

Dude, don't die in my kitchen.” Roarke quickly refilled Silvac's glass of water and even grabbed a giant pitcher (which Roarke used as a mug, but that's besides the point) and filled it with water. He put it on the table next to Silvac, within easy reach. Roarke then leaned gently back against one of the various counters. “Well, you're the first one I've seen like myself too. Weird.
