BRIEFING:
→ A 40mm grenade launcher ("Tank"). It’s one-handed, features a pistol grip, and can fire only one grenade at a time. Fires normal, explosive rounds.
→ Plastic explosive ("Boomer"). Can be molder into different shapes, due to its structure. It is a safe explosive, and requires an electronic detonator to go off.
→ Smoke grenade ("Smoker"). For concealment and signaling. Mickey carries white, grey, red, purple, and pink smoke, because why not?
→ Frag grenade ("Hunter"). A good anti-personnel weapon. Deadly due to the shrapnel sent flying after it explodes.
→ Flashbang ("Jockey"). Creates a light bright enough to blind and a sound loud enough to deafen, but only lasts a small fraction of a second, and doesn’t cause long-term damage. Used for entering a room occupied by hostiles, as it buys a few seconds, which is very valuable.
→ Concussion grenade ("Spitter"). Releases a wave of air pressure that, under the right conditions, is very deadly. Most effective inside small, enclosed spaces, such as a bunker. Very ineffective when used out in the open. Although the kind of concussion grenades he uses are similar to his frag grenades, they do have different shapes, and can be visually identified by their yellow stripe.
→ A Molotov cocktail ("Firewater"). Usually, gasoline in a glass bottle with a rag on fire. Sometimes Mickey gets his hands on chemical strips that will ignite the gas, but it rarely occurs.

SPECIAL ABILITIES:
→ IED (Offensive)- Mickey has a knack for hiding explosives where people wouldn't expect them. Given time to prepare or establish that he has done so (1 post), he can hide one explosives in objects or as part of the scenery. Only one explosive can be placed per post. Explosives placed in such a manner cannot go off in the same post.

REVISE
How does he obtain these if he isn't in the military...?
And Special Abilities: Regardless of how used one becomes to explosives, it'll still do the same damage to a human. XD

Re: Mickey's Explosive Arsenal
Got rid of the "XM25 Counter Defilade Target Engagement (CDTE) System." After thinking it over, I realized that I was being too hopeful in getting it.
Provided one has the right skills and materials, you can make your own C4, frag grenades, molotov cocktails, concussion grenades, flash bangs, and smoke grenades. It's chemistry. As for the grenade launcher, I would presume there's a black market that exists in the world.
Edit: In my rush to finish the edits before leaving campus, I forgot to settle the issue with his special ability. So, yeah... I have now changed his special ability completely.
Edit 2:
Smoke grenades- The smoke consists of a dye, a fuel (lactose), and an oxidizer (potassium chlorate is one, and is the most common chlorate used for industrial purposes, and potassium nitrate can also be used, found in fertilizer, fireworks, rocket propellant, and as a food additive). There are smoke bombs, which differ in using a different fuse (i.e. not a pin), and tend to be not as effective. Smoke bombs are a kind of firework. White phospherous is also a method of creating a smoke grenade, but then it'd double as a rather effective incendiary weapon.
Frag grenades- Really, some explosives in a metal shell, with a form of timed fuse. The basics (explosive in a metal shell with a fuse) have been in use for centuries. In fact, the term "shrapnel" comes from a British commander who used air-bursting cannon shells.
C4- One could make it from scratch (or a similar explosive; I'm afraid plastic explosive tends to be a bit of a general term). Or, he could buy part of it from the internet.
Flash bangs- The American M84 stun grenade (same as a flash bang) has a magnesium charge and uses aluminum as fuel. The sound and light are released through the holes in the casing.
Concussion grenades- Really, it follows the same basic concept as a frag grenade: putting explosives in a metal shell. The difference is that a frag grenade is designed to cause casualties with shrapnel, whereas concussion grenades use the explosive force instead. As such, it usually has a more powerful explosive and a thinner casing. Most effective in enclosed spaces due to its nature.
Molotov Cocktails- Gasoline (or something with a sufficiently high alcohol content) in a glass bottle with a rag. Add fire and throw.
