DESCRIPTION:
In front of you is a giant of a man, standing 6’8” tall when at attention. Across his face, and even exposed skin, you see scars, both old and new, a testament to the line of work he has been through in the past. His clothes are simple and practical, useful for surviving in the harsh Drachman weather, along with a pair of military-grade boots and gloves. He wears the clothes of a military man, cargo pants and shirt with arctic camo print. He wears a black vest over his longsleeved shirt, the weight from its dense metal plates almost insignificant to him, as well as Kevlar guards over his forearms and shins. Close observation also shows that the clothes and vest he wears are a bit on the baggy side, suggesting they were made for someone larger than himself.
When he walks somewhere, he often walks with a purpose, like he’s eager to get to his destination. Although he appears to take his time, he takes long strides. His footsteps indicate that he’s heavier than he actually looks, often causing wooden floors to creak more loudly, and his feet leaving deeper footprints in sand and mud than one would expect.
His brown hair is cut short, much like a military man would be forced to wear. His face, despite the scars, seems warm and inviting, though his eyes reveal some of the acts he has seen and committed, some long ago and some more recent. His voice is deep, but his tone is inviting, as though he were welcoming you as though you were a friend. His laughs are loud and boisterous, and you notice he tends to use his hands often in conjunction with what he’s saying.
When Viktor transforms into his chimera form, he grows noticeably bigger and taller, exceeding 7 feet in height, brown fur grows over his body as his muscles grow larger and harder, his face pushes out into a short muzzle, and his hands grow larger with claws adorning his fingers. The hulking beast left standing is the result of the finest Drachman alchemy available, at least it was when they did it to him.

PERSONALITY:
Viktor certainly isn’t lacking in intelligence, but it’s not particularly remarkable either. Having been home-schooled, and most of his jobs being of the blue-collar variety, he doesn’t have an in-depth knowledge of history, literature, or science. He does, though, have experience with heavy machinery, small arms, crew-served weapons, and some heavy artillery, and has learned a general understanding of how to properly use them without having much or any formal training in the matters.
A result from his upbringing and lines of work he’s been in, he tends to tackle subtle social situations the same way he would attack a foe: bluntly, and with brute force if he could. He is capable of being subtle and acknowledges its uses, but does not care much for it, finding that being honest will pay out in most cases.
Usually, Viktor is relaxed, and treats others with open arms. He engages them in conversation, speaks of his hometown, and tells old war stories. His personal philosophy has always been that it’s better to treat a stranger with open arms than contempt, and often approaches others with that philosophy in mind.
His time in the military has brought out a more brutal and calculating side of Viktor, though, one that focuses on survival above all else. Although he likes to think that this side has allowed him to live through countless scenarios in which he could have died, he also realizes that this same part of him has committed acts he never imagined he was capable of doing. In particularly bad situations, he would throw away common sense altogether, almost waltzing towards his enemies while laughing maniacally. Others that knew him would say that he was completely different person in the heat of an intense battle, even taken pleasure in bringing death and destruction upon others.
LOVE:
Fish, the cold, heavy machinery/weapons, vodka, telling stories, shotguns
HATE:
Fish, algebra, polka music, know-it-alls, safety regulations
DEEPEST SECRET:
He’s a chimera.
IDOL:
Though not a person, Viktor does hold the military installation of Briggs, and the men and women that staff it by proxy, in high regard. Though Drachma has a bigger wall…

HISTORY:
Born the youngest of 7 children, Viktor grew up having to work to survive. When he was young, he would help with small tasks, often with an older sibling or mother while his father was off serving in the Drachman military. As he got older, he became more independent, and had to do more without the help of others, eventually working in the town’s mine, a grueling and dangerous job.
His father died in battle when he was 10, a “long tradition of the Stalin family,” he was told. Although it had been quite a few generations since the last great war hero in the family, they carried it on, though they had their reasons. The family was poor enough as it was, and couldn’t afford a sizeable dowry for his three sisters. The military happened to be convenient, easing the financial burden on the family by providing food and shelter for the soldier, while allowing him to send his earnings home every month, not to mention the compensation given when a family member died. One by one, Viktor watched as his brothers moved away, first to work in the factories of one of Drachma’s glorious cities, then into the military, as well as his sisters getting married into other families. Soon, it was his turn to be sent off.
Viktor held several jobs, often working with heavy machinery due to his size and strength, and often with metal. Eventually, he found himself working as a gunsmith, working on both small arms and heavy weapons, though he continued to help with assembling particularly large products like tanks.
At the age of 17, Viktor managed to join the military through a mix of luck, lax background checks, and convincing appearance by the time. He quickly found himself getting thrown into combat, often carrying his squad’s designated heavy weapons. As time went on, he found himself in tougher and tougher situations, as he slowly began to prove himself time and time again. Although still an NCO after ten years (age 27) in the service, his combat record was outstanding, and he was approached by a high-ranking officer with a unique offer: in exchange for being declared dead, he would become part of Drachma’s military of tomorrow. Wanting his mother to finally retire, as well as protect his country, he accepted.
Viktor soon found himself part of a Drachman chimera project, being combined with a brown bear to form the “perfect soldier.” Along with several other chimera, he found himself taking part in black operations as a close combat specialist, often quelling “rebels” and protecting towns form “separatists.” After eleven years, however, Drachma was preparing to roll out a “new line of chimera.” Already being a dead man, Viktor and a few other chimera fought their way out of custody, and went their separate ways.
Heading out into the wilderness of Drachma, he soon realized he had overestimated even his own enhanced abilities. Between dodging the military and populated areas, he was soon running low on food and supplies, and the weather wasn’t getting any better. It was then that he saw the infamous iron wall in the distance. He headed towards it, wanting to see if he could perhaps seek refuge to those his country despised, at least somewhere in the depths of its black heart. Still, if worst came to worst, he’d rather die at the hands of the ones he respected than those of mother nature, or his replacements.
As it turns out, Viktor’s fears were more or less unfounded. For reasons unknown to him, he was only in custody for a brief amount of time, before not only being released, but assimilated under the Brigg’s banner. Just as quickly as he thought he had made it out of war, however, he found himself thrust back into it. And, like the figurative duck to water, he took to his new cause quickly enough.
First was the Dietrich War, which he was curious as to the exact purpose of. Much like in Drachma, he found himself uninterested in the politics, and was more concerned with the who, what, and why. Still, the foolish Cretans had decided to charge across the border, and had to be dealt with. Viewing it like any other war, skirmish, or mission he’d been on, he fought for Amestris with all his might.
The emergence of RIOTE was surprising to him. He had never heard of such an organization, though for an entire war to stop due to its name and actions was something to behold. However, RIOTE’s sudden takeover of Drachma was upsetting, to a degree. He knew who he had pledged allegiance to, and he had no intentions of deserting the ones that had saved him to return to the country that tried to kill him, but it was still his homeland, his Mother Land. His mother, for all he knew, was still living comfortably somewhere, and his sisters happily married, and only god knew what Uncle Bogdan was up to, the crazy bastard... But still, he had to fight. He needed to fight. He wouldn’t tolerate such a takeover of his country…
Well, that, and the Lieutenant General asked him to go on a special mission for her. So, along with his new friend, Doctor Cora Nikita, and a handful of other soldiers, they went ahead of the Amestrian forces and started wreaking havoc. Mainly by stealing a Drachman APC and crashing it into the side of the Kremlin, but… Let’s not talk about that, shall we? Viktor doesn’t exactly have the funds to pay for the repairs right now…

TRIVIA:
Fluent in Drachman, and speaks Amestrian with a heavy accent

OTHER CHARACTERS:
Isabella Galicia, Dietrich, Zinaida Tarasov, Valentin, Nevada Vervada, Mickey
CREATOR'S COMMENTS:
→ Not wanting Viktor to be born and raised in Moscow, I looked up towns in Russia and found Sergach. I don’t think that should be a problem, but still.
→ Viktor hates the taste of fish, but occasionally craves it as a smaller side effect from him being part bear and all.
→ The picture is unused (to my knowledge), unnamed concept art from the game Borderlands. If I need to face claim this character, please tell me.
→
→ Level 2 changes made in yellow. Kinda like this line, see?
CUSTOM RANK:

Updated for level 2. Added 357 words to his history, fixed some basic math issues with his age and history, and... That's really it.
