NAME:
Maliwan XV-8, known colloquially as “Sasha” to its user

TYPE:
An awesome shotgun so awesome, that… Forget it. Your mind would implode so hard your skull would explode at the mere thought of its awesomeness.

FORM:
A shotgun that’s so awe- *head explodes from awesomeness*

BRIEFING:
An obnoxiously large pump-action shotgun, made of strong composite metals to withstand the coldest of Drachman winters, along with metal and carbon reinforcement in critical areas (and then some), as though it were intended to double as a blunt instrument. The pump bar has been modified during production to have a pistol-style fore-grip, allowing for better stability, maneuverability, and comfort while wielding the weapon. On top of the gun is a two-part optical sight (removable, but usually on), allowing for greater accuracy over longer distances, specifically included for use with slug rounds. There are glowing blue strips along the revolving cylinder (yes, revolver-style), as well as the barrel itself. With each shot fired, the gun produces a blue flash, not unlike the glowing strips on the gun. With a flip of a switch, the blue pulsates, accompanied by a low hum. Anyone that has seen its effects are either no longer living, or are simply keeping their mouths shut about it.

The very end of the barrel is blackened from repeated use, and the gun itself is not as sleek as it used to be, suffering from a few battle scars, much like its user. The bottom of the grip as been sharpened to a considerable point, and obviously has been used on multiple occasions in the past.

On the left side of the gun, “Sasha” is inscribed with great care and skill, though it has tell-tale signs of being a post-production modification.

Though it normally uses standard shotgun rounds, Viktor has learned to carry several different kinds of rounds with him. He has been known to carry the following:
> Breaching rounds (designed to punch through doors and locks without hurting those on the other side)
> Frag rounds (shoots a frag grenade)
> Slugs (for longer ranges)
> Rubber slugs (non-lethal for high-priority targets)
> Rubber buckshot (same deal, but ideally for closer ranges)
> Dragon’s Breath (because it shoots fire; good distraction/scare tactic, but not much else)
> Gas shells (releases a gas, mostly pepper spray or tear gas, in close ranges (unless he is equipped with a particularly good gas mask, Viktor does not like to use gas rounds, as he has become very sensitive to them since becoming a chimera))

Of course, the ammunition he has on him at any given time depends of availability, as his shotgun is of a non-standard gauge, and most of the above ammunition types are non-standard.

SPECIAL ABILITIES:
Bear Blasting (a.k.a. “Holy Crap, It Shoots Rockets!”): When activated, Sasha expends six rounds of ammunition (an entire magazine) and fires a small rocket in their place. The rocket will have properties similar to the rounds of ammunition used. For example, standard rounds will produce a shrapnel-effect, Dragon’s Breath would be incendiary, rubber rounds would produce a not-so-lethal concussion effect, etc. Known limitations/restrictions: use of one per thread; ammunition used must be stated beforehand.
