Normal day... That's exactly how Menoitos would describe his Monday. He'd spent the day... planning Greed's death, working out how the other Homunculi would fit into his plan, and hugging kittens. Yeah, he could never hug enough kittens. There seemed to be enough strays to fit into a container! A big one! He sighed softly, and walked calmly through a busy Central City street, his white suit and green hair setting him apart from the rest of the citizens. He looked around carefully, watching every angle. Even though he was pretty sure he was safe, it helped to be... somewhat careful of the steps you took. That was something he knew all too well.

The swords at his belt didn't make him look too much better anyways. With a loud and obvious sigh, Meno stepped into a corner store, and bought himself a can of soda. 20 cenz. Cheap. He sighed once more, and drunk the drink within seconds. Ah, refreshing. He threw the can into the trash, and wiped his forehead with a smile. That felt better. He then made his way over to a bench, and sat down with a content smile.

"Mew." Meno blinked, and looked under the seat. Ki... Ki... Ki... KITTY! He reached down and grabbed it, bringing it up to himself and hugging it tightly.

"Whoseacutekitty? Yousacutekitty!"

The sun's rays reflected off of Sal's hair, giving the white a more radiant look. It was messy, and bounced every which way as the Ishvallan boy trotted along. That very morning he had spotted another stray kitten, and he had been playing with it for a while, but then it suddenly ran off. In order to ensure nothing bad happened to it, Salazar began to chase after it, but after a while he seemed to have lost track of the small creature between the legs of Amestrian citizens that were around. His ears and tail attracted many looks, but the chimera's focus was on finding that kitten. It was a very familiar kitten, too; It looked like the one he had found in that alley when he met Jack Fulhelmknight. Hopefully the man wouldn't mind too much if the boy decided to take care of it, for whatever reasons he might think of.

Just when it seemed that all hope was lost, Sal's ears twitched. He heard a very familiar meow coming from nearby. He whipped his head around with his ears perked, when he saw it. The kitten was being hugged by a strange man with green hair. His white suit made his hair seem that much more bright in contrast to the normal tones and colors of other Amestrians. Sal quickly ran over to the man, ears standing on end and tail waving frantically.

"Found him!" The chimera shouted, putting his hands out as if receiving a gift from someone. His eyes were focused on the man with furrowed brows, but his arms were stretched in the direction of the kitten. If it were anyone else, this would have been an alarming expression, but Sal wasn't good at making angry or intimidating faces, so it looked quite silly on him, especially with his lips sticking out the way they were.

"Found who?" Meno stared at the boy for a couple of seconds, and then looked at where he was staring. Ah. THAT was what he wanted. He blinked, and then offered... the... kitten... to... the... kit... kitty... His eye widened and he stared blankly at the boy. Car ears. He had cat ears on his head. Meno rubbed the eye, just to make sure he wasn't dreaming. Nope, that boy really had little kitty ears on his head.

Then the tail hit him. Well, tapped him on the leg, but still. A tail. The boy had a goddamn tail. Well... Menoitos took in a deep breath, and closed his eye.

"KITTTTTTTTTYYYYYYYYYYYYY!" The former Wrath jumped off the bench and brought the boy into a massive hug, keeping him close enough so that he couldn't escape, but not too tight so he could breath. After all, Meno had hugging experience. ESPECIALLY with kitties.

"I shall call him squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my squishy..." He was getting weird looks already, but Meno didn't care. He just wanted to hug the kitty. Kitty! Cute kitty! Human-looking, but kitty!

A satisfied meow came from the kitten as it was handed to the boy. What happened next took Salazar completely by surprise. The green-haired man seemed to leap off the bench he had been sitting on, and embraced the chimera while shouting kitty, albeit very enthusiastically. It was so strange, especially when Sal heard him say something in a strange language that sounded somewhat familiar... Cretan, was it? Either way, the Ishvallan found it very strange that a stranger would hug him, especially like this. He wiggled a little bit, but didn't free himself.

"Uhh... Mister, I... Uhh..." The poor boy was at a loss for words from all the confusion. He wiggled a little bit more, and the shock actually seemed to scare him more than surprise him. His ears drooped and his tail grew limp as he frowned unhappily over the man's shoulder. The boy gave a light whimper and nearly began to cry. There were beads of liquid forming in his eyes, but he tried his best not to let it get any worse than that. The kitten had already freed itself and ran along somewhere else, much to the chimera's dismay.

Menoitos felt the kid's ears and tail drop. He blinked, and looked at him carefully, wondering what was going on. he was starting to stutter some, and that was never a good thing. Meno let go of the boy, just in time to see him begin to cry. He knelt down in front of him and placed a hand onto his shoulder.

"Sorry. I got a little carried away there." He offered a reassuring smile to the boy, and then sat up on the bench with a small sigh and looked into the air. Real smart. He saw the boy had cat ears and the like, and instantly went for the hug. What if he was just some innocent cosplayer? Menoitos twitched slightly, and then pulled one of his ears, softly. Didn't come off, and there didn't seem to be any sort of headband. That meant they were eitehr part of a wig... or real. And Meno was pretty sure they were real.

Further study was needed. He looked at the boy carefully for a second or so, and then raised a finger into the air.

"He's Ishvallan! Wait, I don't even speak Ishvallan..." His head went down slightly, and the green-haired man sighed. Smart one, Menoitos. The ONLY language you didn't learn.

As the man let go, Sal rubbed his eyes and blinked, calming himself down. The apology didn't sink in until a few minutes later, when the chimera had finally given up on chasing after the kitten. With a sigh, he sat down next to the green-haired stranger and looked at him. It certainly was strange, he admitted that, but it wasn't necessarily frightening. In fact, green was a lovely color, partly because it reminded the Ishvallan of grass, and trees. Hmm, grass... A nap oh the green, soft vegetation certainly seemed like a good idea, but he would try to save that for later. With a yawn, he stretched his arms into the air and his legs out in front of him.

As he felt an ear being pulled, he leaned in the opposite direction lazily with a meow, then returned to an upright position. The white cat ears twitched as Salazar noticed the man seemed to be... studying him? His tail waved around curiously, and his red, asymmetrical eyes were focused on the green of the stranger's hair. Letting out a childish giggle as the strange man sighed and let his head drop, the chimera shifted to his knees and studied the other male's hair intently. It was just so green!

"Green!" He announced playfully, posed rather cat-like on the bench. In fact, with the mischievous grin, it almost looked as though the cat boy was going to pounce on the man, but instead, he inched closer and gently hugged him. A strange turn of events, yes, but Sal's animal instincts, once again, got the better of him.

Meno watched the cat chimera carefully, studying him in a similar manner to which he was being studied by the boy. It almost seemed to Meno that he was trying to imitate him. The green-haired Alchemist blinked, and just watched. Curious, wasn't it? He smiled at the boy, who had then shouted out one word.

"Green!"

Green? Meno blinked, and then realized it. He was talking about his hair! He laughed softly, and then pointed at the boy's hair with a smile.

"Yeah! White!" His grin was kind and happy, and as he looked up into the sky, he though he felt something nice in his mind. And then he felt the boy hugging him lightly. He blinked, and looked down at him, rubbing his head softly. He then softly moved the boy off him, and put a hand on his own chest.

"Meno. You?" He offered a hand out and smiled. This was a nice boy. Strange, though. What was a chimera that didn't speak Amestrian doing here? In Central City? And at this age, too? Geez, he was brave...

A bird fluttered by the bench with a chirp, causing the chimera to look away from the green-haired man for a moment. As he was removed from the stranger, he kept a pleasant smile on his face and continued to let his tail wave around happily. The man pointed to himself as he spoke. It was an interesting name, but certainly not the strangest he's heard. After all, the boy's name was Salazar. That certainly wasn't the most common of names. He gave a nod to acknowledge the information being given, and cheerfully pointed at his own face with both hands.

"Sal!" The boy grinned endlessly and looked up at the sky for a moment. It was pretty nice out, today, wasn't it? With a deep breath, he lifted his hands up into the air before placing them on the bench to stretch. Not just a plain ol' stretch, he was stretching...like a cat. A yawn escaped from his fanged mouth and he flopped down onto the bench. This kind of weather always made him feel like napping. Sal shifted to his back and looked at the man.

"Mister Meno," he said curiously. It was a habit of his to address people respectfully by calling them 'mister' or 'miss'. His large, asymmetrical red eyes blinked lazily. "Meno..." He yawned again.
