DESCRIPTION:
→ Éclair’s hair color is bubblegum pink and usually styled in pigtails, held up by different coloured ribbons. Her eye colour is reddish pink but can turn pitch black during night time or when she is in a dimly lit area, like a night club or alleyway.
Her body shape is quite skinny and slim, having a body shape like a ballerina so Éclair has some leg muscle and flexibility. Her skin tone is deathly pale, due to her lack of exposure to sunlight and therefore, is seen with an umbrella that protects her from the light.
Éclair’s style of dress makes her stand out; she wear’s clothing that consists of all black corset-like tops, ruffled miniskirts, studded belts or wristbands, lace stockings and leather boots. Sometimes she would wear a Gothic Lolita outfit or whatever the girl sees fit. In short; Éclair wears a lot of black and it usually has lace or Gothic Lolita elements to it. Her transmutation circles are tattooed onto her palm, covering them with silk gloves.
Her mannerisms are quite graceful and refined with a touch of sweetness to it. Éclair’s walks are supposedly so graceful, it looks like she is gliding; sometimes she dances around something or someone with a smile on her face. Usually a creepy one.
Éclair’s voice is described as “sugar sweet” and finely high pitched; not too high but not too low.

PERSONALITY:
→ Éclair has a quite sweet and friendly nature with a confident and hyperactive air to her but this can suddenly change within moments. She can sometimes react to a person’s remark, whether it is supposed to be funny or offending, with a crazy smile or hysterical laughter. Éclair can be somewhat of an airhead but she can be understanding and intuitive with her near logical thinking. She has a tendency to speak using “cute” phases, including sound effects like “meew~” and “muu~” or cat sounds. Why Éclair does this is because she thinks its “cute”, though half the people around don’t have the same opinion….Sometimes she sings out what she is saying or greeting, like an opera.
Despite the sugary coating, Éclair has a sadistic side to her; she has a crazed, messed up child psyche, due to the trauma in her past, and somewhat has no concept of human morals. In saying this, she also has a sadistic sense of amusement and beauty. For example, Éclair would have a laugh out of hearing and seeing someone scream or suffer. Often she tortures her victims to death. The young girl fights with a brutal, ruthless tenacity and won’t hesitate to involve innocent bystanders to guarantee victory.
Even though she is confident and sadistic, Éclair is still an insecure little girl but she hardly reveals this. This is only shown when she is alone or on rare moments. She goes quiet and almost anti-social in this mode, preferring the company of her many stuffed animal rather than another human being. As a result of her past, Éclair as developed a considerable amount of social ineptitude, particularly about how to act around and near the opposite sex but her cutesy personality makes up for it but she still has a fragile mentality. Éclair doesn’t hesitate on torturing others just to make her feel better and has a mantra in her mind that goes “Bad children always get punished in the end”; something that was hammered into her head years ago.

HISTORY:
→ Éclair Antoinette de Sade was born on June 2nd to Louis Francois de Sade, a writer and alchemist. Her father wasn’t the best as he kept on abusing her mother but spoiled Éclair with sweets and toys. Eventually her mother ran away, never to be seen again...
Because of her father spoiling her and, Éclair wasn’t particularly obedient, becoming a decadent and spoilt child. Louis did not take this to heart, thinking the girl will grow out of it. What Éclair did not know that he had an unnatural lust for her that was incestuous.
But her attitude got worse by the time the girl became 11 and thus, Louis started abusing to “beat that bad behaviour” out of her. This scared Éclair and this quickly made her stop asking for things or becoming a spoilt brat in fear that her father would beat her again.
At 15, Éclair ran away with a friend and started training as an alchemist, going into hiding somewhere in Amestris. She was found by police three weeks later and returned to her father; resulting another beating.
When the girl turned 16, Louis lured her to the underground floor of the house in the pretense that he needed help with his papers. He then drugged her and moved her into a concealed room. After Éclair’s disappearance, Louis filed a missing person report in order to avoid suspicion.
Over the course of years, Louis visited the concealed room on average every day to give Éclair food and other necessary supplies. But he also raped her repeatedly and used them as “reference” for his books. Louis also used her as a lab rat for his alchemy research. This caused Éclair to become mentally unstable due to the inhumane treatment and pain that she suffered.
At times, in order to punish her, Louis shut off the lights to the room or refused to deliver food for days on end.
One day, the year she became 18, Éclair was eating the food that Louis made for her. Then when he heard the phone ring and went to answer, the girl grabbed the knife that came with her fork, and hid it within her clothes. After her father came back, he proceeded to rape her until Éclair stabbed him on his side. Louis was shocked and tried to fight against his daughter but her suppressed rage and unstable mentality gave her inhuman strength. She stabbed him countless times, even after he died.
After awhile, Éclair thought up a plan; she made the scene look like a robbery and cleaned her fingerprints off the knife. She called the police and was taken to a local clinic afterwards, where Éclair received medical and psychological care.
Sometime afterwards, Éclair completed her alchemic training, ironically the same style of alchemy her father used and began life as a wondering alchemist. Sometimes she worked as a mercenary or hit man, often torturing her victims to death and leaving their corpses to a horrific state…

ALCHEMIC ABILITY:
→ Éclair’s alchemy allows her to control the electrical impulses to the human nervous system. This basically the messages sent from the nerves to the brain to report a sensation or feeling, such as pain. All Éclair needs to go is touch to intended victim and activate the ability. The sensation of pain would be akin to an electric shock but would be more excruciatingly painful like "one thousand white-hot knives, boring into the skin."

TRIVIA:
→ Eclair is sometimes nicknamed "Lolita" or "Little Lolita" by her collegues or employers. This is named after the titular character from the book named Lolita, where the character is the object of lust by her stepfather.
→ Eclair means "Lightning" in french and "de Sade" is the name of Marquis de Sade who was a french aristocrat and writer who was known for his libertine sexuality and lifestyle.
