Karyu walked into the large building slowly, wearing his casual uniform wear. His short, hazel hair seemed to move around gently as he took one step after another up towards the front door of the miliant building. He wore his white headphones, the sound of a slow and sorrowful piano piece playing. The Drachman militants standing atthe door saluted the figure as he slowly approached the door and pushed it open gently with the tip of his fingers. Suddenly, he stopped and kicked them both in the jaw, knocking them unconsious. When the people saw this, many stared, and the police rushed over, however, they didn't get far, for Karyu wasted no time in giving them a present. He drew his gunblade, without hesitation, and shot two bullets at the approaching police vehicles, blowing them up with the alchemic bullets. He walked inside, and everything seemed to move in slow motion for a second, before Karyu opened fire at the guards around him. Now, why would a general of the Drachman army be attacking a prison for POWs? Simple, their current prisoner was the fiancee of Karyu. Ilona. He had no intention on letting the filthy dogs of this army lay their hands on her, even if it meant betrayal, and possible death. He wasted no time and shooting the ground, leaving a large crater to the basement area where the prisoners were being held.

"I'm an idiot..."

Karyu jumped through the crater and shot at the guards as he came down towards the ground. He wasted no time in aiming for the guard station in alarm, blowing them both up with ease. After he hit the ground, Karyu began looking around rapidly before catching sight of Ilona. He walked over towards her, and told her to stand back, blasting the gate open and rushing in, hugging her tightly. It seemed that they had tied her up to a chair, and even bagged and tied up her hands. He quickly untied her and helped her out of her chair, hugging her tightly.

"You should have called me... i would have gladly handed my life over to save yours..."

Ilona knew he would come, the sounds of chaos could be heard from miles away. She was happy to see him but there was one thing she needed to resolve...
"You IDIOT!"Ilona screeched this out and backhanded Karyu, causing him to stagger but she was far from finished. Her rage back in the battle wasn't cooled off and her eyes, ice cold, showed it.
"You knew I was in Briggs and yet you attacked me?! IDIOT! I was about to KILL you if you hadn't let me escape now! I would have called you if I was going to leave Briggs! I COULD HAVE LOST OUR CHILD!"Ilona screamed the last sentence out. The rant left her out of breath and was left panting. She hugged her stomach, fearing for the little one growing inside her than her own life...Besides Karyu, her life would have no meaning if this little one died..It could be the only child she will ever have...

When Ilona backhanded Karyu, he staggered backwards abit, yet he simply smiled softly. He touched his cheek with his fingertips, and scoffed himself, before he slowly walked back towards Ilona. He gave her the gun, and pointed it at him, and slowly slid the blade across the side of his body, the pain not making his smile go away. Once he had a small wound on his left side, he took the gun and placed it on his back before he grabbed Ilona's hand. He hoped that she understood that he felt worse than just that small wound when he found out that he had attacked her, and he looked at the police who were running towards them.

"When we get out of here, i'll let you kill me. Just, let me have the satisfaction of saving you now. I want to start a new with you and our child... I want us to be happy for once."

Karyu did not look back at her, and instead, he ran out of the cell and opened fire on the police officers and soldiers running towards them, blowing the group up. He then shot the wall opposite of them, and made a slight movement for her to continue on ahead without him. He had been given false information about Ilona leaving Briggs, nd had he known that she was there, he would have came to her aid. It was too late to dwell in the past, however, for now was the time to act and right his wrongs.

"There's a car waiting for us ouyside! You go first, i'll hold them off..."

Karyu leapt off of the stairs and onto the ground and began slicing through each of his foes with ease, hoping to stall for Ilona.

"Idiot."Ilona spat out as she ran. As much as she would have liked to run off with him now, would it just put his sacrifice in vain? Either way, she wanted him to come back alive..Otherwise she will drag him from hell and kick his behind back to it.
She kept on running, narrowly avoiding the enemy who were after her with swift punches and kicks but always made sure they missed her stomach. Ilona pulled out the knife that was stored underneath the sole of her shoe and started to carve a transmutation circle onto her palm, the pain was nill as she could not feel it. With that, Ilona breaking hell loose as she transmutated anything she touched into a weapon, making her escape so much more easier..
Ilona then saw light and ran towards it, the sun burning onto her eyes. Amongest the sounds of explosions and screams she fainted heard a car and walked towards it...

Karyu continued to fight off the soldiers until he saw that Ilona had made it out of danger. His driver rushed out of the vehicle and helped Ilona inside the car before taking off at high speeds, leaving Karyu behind as he was ordered to. Karyu continued to carve through soldier after soldier, everyone aiming for one goal: Putting an end to the soldier who betrayed them. Suddenly, the high class soldiers came rushing in, and opened fire from afar, however, Karyu simply snapped his fingers, using his gravity alchemy to make the area around them twice as heavy. The theme on Karyu's phone suddenly changed to one that semed to carry a more violent, and warning theme to it. He slowly backed away as the building began to fall apart, but to his dismay, the building came down faster than he expected, and rubble collapsed upon his leg. The destruction was heavy, but the death count seemed heavier. Seeing that the entire building had not came down on him, he rushed over to an elevator, and took it to the top floor. When he arrived, he ran into the room that he met the man Menoitos in. He grabbed his suitcase, and ran towards the glass window, despite the pain on his leg, and leapt through it. One would think that he'd fall, but instead, he seemed to float in the air. He ran, each step he took seeming as if he was on solid ground.

"With these, maybe i can convince them to let me live long enough to atleast see my child. That's all i want..."

Karyu ran onto a building and jumped off, diving downward, before the vehicle in which Ilona and the driver were in appeared, making a sharp turn. He laned ontop of the vehicle, making a soft thump ound as he lessened the gravity around him as to make him gently land on the car. He held on tightly until the vehicle came to a stop and hopped into the back with Ilona. Their next destiation was Amestris, and safe from Drachma.

Ilona covered her ears the entire time, sick of hearing the screams and explosions. Not only they messed up her sight but because she was afraid of hearing Karyu's screams among them but she heard him plop onto her side and eventually slowly lower her hands away from her ears. Seeing that she carved the transmutation circles abit too deep, she ripped off some off her jacket and started bandaging her hands..She forgot that she was wearing a bra.
"We're going back to Amestris now huh..?"She said quietly though it wasn't a question. Ilona decided once they arrive she would contact Briggs to tell them they are safe: Reila and Houka must be wondering where she is now and worried because she was carrying child..
Ilona rubbed her stomach, as if to make sure the child was still there where it's supposed to be. She did not allow herself to sleep during her capture and sleep, and morning sickness, caught up to her, making her lean againest Karyu and fall fast asleep...I'm sure we can clear up some understandings without killing eachother right?

Karyu pulled off his jacket and wrapped it around Ilona, covering her up, before she fell fast asleep on his shoulder. He smirked and relaxed a little as they headed towards the border. The song on his phone changed to a more home music techno like song. He sighed in relief, and leaned back before he looked at his suitcase in the frontseat. He then looked over at Ilona, and smirked a little before he looked at his new silver wristwatch. He checked he time, and ordered his river to speed up or he'd suffer the same fate as the others. The driver sped up without question, and they made good progress towards the Drachman border. He sighed slightly, knowing that they'd be returning to Briggs, and suddenly, he felt the morning sickness creep up on him. He nearly threw up, but held it down, and tried to find some other thought. His stomach rumbled a little too, which made thedriver wonder if Karyu was pregnant. Could that be possible? No, it was just his worry for Ilona's safety.

"I wonder if Reila will let me atleast let me fight back before i die. I'd like to go down atleast with some pride..."

Karyu crossed his legs feminely and he leaned against the window, looking at the country scenery that was drenched and filled with purity and white snowflakes.

Ilona slept very deeply; the battle, capture, pregnancy exhausted her to the point of collapsing but being the stubborn person that she was, she could of escaped the prison while crawling if she had to. Snow..What would the child look like? Would it have snow white hair and blue eyes like mine? Or look like it's father..Either way I'll give it the best childhood it'll ever have; better than the one I had...
She slipped and landed on Karyu's lap, making use of her position and slept just as nicely as if she was in bed...
Man they crushed my cellphone..I have to buy a new one soon, maybe in Central...Thank goddess they did not rape me, I wouldn't let them I would have crush their balls before they even think it...Oh well I'm going back to Briggs...Back to normal...
Ilona had all these thoughts in her head but never showed any sign of pandomonium from within; in fact she was sleeping like a baby..

Karyu continued to scan the area, the thought of him having a child amazed him. He was shocked when Ilona first informed him of the child, but they were being chased and attacked, so he hadn't much time to reflect on the situation. He then wondered when the hell he actually had enough time to make a child... and why doesn't he remember it!? Before he could even guess at the answers, Ilona slipped and fell onto his lap. He was about to help her sit back up, but she made herself a comfortable position due to the circumstances, and Karyu decided not to bother her. The music on his phone had become a calm piano tune, this one carrying a mood and sense of relief. He sighed slightly, and looked back out the window. He moved to stroke Ilona's snow white hair, but before he could, his phone vibrated. When he looked at the caller ID, it read 'unknown', which meant that either someone was masking their number, or were using a signal blocker around their phone. He answered the call with a questioning hello, however, the caller did not reply. Instead, all you could hear was a soft, sadistic chuckle, and then the sound of the man hanging up the phone.

"What was that all about?"

The car entered a tunnel, and Karyu sat back as everything went dark, but he nearly jumped when he heard the sound of the unkown callers laughter seem to echo around him. He looked around, and suddenly, a flash image went through his head, and his eyes widened slightly. He had enough problems, but if he remembered the sound of that laugh from where he thought it was... No, it couldn't be, he had no worries whatsoever. All he needed to worry about was getting Reila's phone number from Ilona so they could discuss a deal and draw up a contract.

"Now, where'd she put her cellphone?"

Ilona woke up but was still englufed in darkness like always, so it was hard for her to wake up properly or shake off the sleepiness. She slowly opened her eyes and yawned softly, her hand reaching for Karyu's cheek though it was wet from her blood..
"Something wrong?"She said with a sleepy voice and gave a small smile. The rage that she felt has long cooled down in sleep; usually she would have been in a bad mood for days but pregnancy does things to you...Ilona lightly touched his cheek, leaving a bloodprint on it.
Before she opened her mouth to speak, her stomach grumble so loudly it made her blush. This caused her to shoot up, sit up and hug her stomach, giving off a nervous laugh. I guess this is what craving is...Craving for..Lettuce? Ew I never liked lettuce but I have to eat it because I want to....
"Guess the kid is hungry huh?"She said with a smile, though she was hoping for the grumbling to die down soon..

Karyu twitched a little when he heard Ilona, the laughing dying away in the distance of his mind. Karyu chuckled slightly when she asked what was wrog, and replied with a low 'nothing'. He heard her stomach grumble, and continued to chuckle before he grabbed his cellphone. He leaned back in his chair and placed the cellphone in her hand before he started humming to himself lightly.

"Call in for food, i'll handle the address and such..."

Karyu's mind was still focused on Reila, the child, and just when he had time to make a child!? Suddenly, Karyu realised something... his face was wet. He took two of his fingers and wiped them across his wet cheek, and looked at the blood with widened eyes. He grabbed Ilona's hand and saw the scarring, and quickly ripped off his shirt and tore a small piece off, wrapping it around her hand.

"You should stop being so careless..."

"Make sure whatever you're going to have, make sure it has lots of lettuce in it.."His heartbeat became abit rapid for a second then felt him grab her hand and rebandaged it. She was completely awake now. Ilona smiled from his statement, not to be so reckless and such.
"I'm sorry...I guess I have to calm down abit from now on hm?"Ilona said, giving a reasurring smile to him. She leaned againest the window, looking out at the scenery. For awhile, all Ilona saw was snow, everlasting white, but she did not have her cane with her or anything so it was hard to see anymore..Until she gets to Briggs where her spare equipment is...
"Judging by your heartbeat you seem confused..C'mon tell me whats wrong.."Ilona knew he would be abit confused about the kid..Or if he remembered if they had time to make one but she remembered clearly: Vodka. And let's leave it at that; Vodka.

Karyu sighed as he hugged her gently, holding her close to him. She smiled and seemed happy, but for once, Karyu felt like this was ot something to smile about. She could have been killed, and all because he didn't make the right calculations. His embrace tightened, and his breathing came in short shudders, and when he finally spoke, his voice seemed like that of a whisper. He took one deep breath before he spoke, but when he opened his mouth, rain began to por down, and the car started making funny noises. He let go of her, and looked at the driver who pulled the car over, nd Karyu simply calmed himself down, and put on a smile before opening the door and pulling ILona out into the rain with him. He shut the car door behind her, and leaned her up against the car before leaning up against her and whispering lightly into her ears.

"Let's get married... today."

When the driver opened his door, he heard Karyu's every word, and staggered out of the car. Not many could get Karyu to stay with them for more than a week, but to have him be the one to initiae a marriage ceremony was beyond akward. Karyu's hair had become beyond wet, and seemed to stick to his face, covering his eyes, but he pushed it back, along with Ilona's and smiled warmly.

"Let's do it. Let's get married right now..."

"Oh what really? In this weather?"She smiled brightly, the rain giving her eyes a glowing look to them, the shade turning to aquamarine. Ilona laughed, that they were getting married, still in Drachman land and getting married. The thought made her laugh and she nodded in consent. This is the moment they were waiting for werent they? Sure they were getting wet from the rain, she's wearing nothing but leather pants, boots, two jackets and a bra and he's wearing what he normal wears and goddamn...Ilona reached for his face, carassing his cheeks with her hands.
He was always beautiful...
They might catch a cold later but it should be fine as long as they get inside afterwards ne?
"Yeah...I think right now is great.."Ilona said with a smile, putting her arm around Karyu's..

Karyu had always pictured their wedding a little more formal than this. He trul expected suits, and dresses and the whole big fancy wedding thing to go down, not a marriage on the side of a road shirtless. He didn't care, though, for he had all he wated in his arms at that moment. He kissed her passionately, sealing the contract known as marriage, and laughed a little, sweeping her off her feet. He looked at her face, which seemed to glow with beauty, carrying about a bright radience with it. He then remembered something important, and holding her with one hnd, he released his other hand and grabbed something out of the pocket of his leather pants. He gently placed her on the ground, and slid the ring on her finger, not helping but smile widely before hugging her and spinning around, happy and joyous of the occasion. After one complete spin, he set her down, and whispered lightly, saying words he'd never expect to come out of his mouth in a situation like this.

"Saranghe..."

Karyu chuckled and quickly looked at the cloudy sky and shouted 'Saranghe Ilona' over and over, laughing to no end. It was rare that he ever felt this happy, but what did it matter? He was happy now, and would always be with Ilona by his side.

She laughed with joy, couldn't believe that this was reality and not dream. Ilona couldn't imagine herself walking down the altar in the big white dress but this was good enough, they can be together now or at least however long it lasts and she prayed it would last for a long time...Then he started saying seom words she couldn't understand but judging by the emotiuon he carried in his voiuce it'll have to be...
"I love you too Karyu.."She said in a loving whisper kissing his lips gently, soft as butterfly wings. Ilona hugged him close to her and was about to say something until...
"Aaachoo~!"She sneezed but laughed it off but knew she could not stay like this forever or any longer...
"Guess we better go back inside hm?"With that Ilona lead Karyu back to the car, too happy now that they kept their promise..Way too happy..

Karyu was excitedabout this moment, hoping it could last forever. When Ilona sneezed, Karyu laughed a little and nodded in agreement when she suggested that they should get back in the car. He opened the door for her, allowing her to get in first, and came in behind her, shutting the door closed behind them. Karyu held her closely, hoping to warm her up, and grabbed a towel and started to wipe the water off of her smooth skin slowly, enjoying this time they could spend together happily. If this was love... then maybe Karyu could really get used to it.

"Here, have some of this... It'll keep that cold from getting worse..."

Karyu reached into the front seat and grabbed a cup of coffee, and, luckily for Ilona, it was still warm from earlier. He handed her the cup of coffee and relaxed a little in his seat, wondering what the problem was...

She sneezed again and drank the coffee whole heartedly, warming her body up. She muttered a thank you and managed to drank the whole thing faster than she was supposed to but oh well at least she was warm now. Ilona then thought of what do next after they arrive at Briggs..
"Hey..I may have to stay in Briggs until a little awhile, then I have to take maternial leave...I moved out of my apartment in Central so you got a place to stay when I do leave Briggs for awhile?"Ilona asked, snuggling into the jackets to keep her warm. She grabbed the towel off Karyu and started to wipe the rain off his face and eventually started to dry his hair. She then faintly realised that her hair has grown longer..Oh well new look, might as well keep it long, doesn't hurt to have longer hair.

Karyu watched Ilona down the coffee, and hugged her gently as to keep her warm. When Ilona mentioned Briggs, Karyu's mood dropped a little, as he knew that getting Reila and Houka to accept him as an ally might be hard to pull off after he attacked their fort. He sighed and nodded slightly when Ilona asked him if he had a place to stay after she left.

"I own a bar in Central, so you don't have to worry about pay. As for a house, we can stay at the bar until you find the perfect house you want. Whatever you choose, i'll agree with wholeheartedly."

Karyu smiled warmly and kissed Ilona on the cheek before he went back to his phone, scrolling through the long list of music he had. There had to be something that fit such a moment.

"Hmm a house..."She though for a moment: With a child she cannot stay in Briggs forever, the weather wouldn't agree, the kid will have close;y normal childhood but surrounded by the military and possible dangers. Maybe when the kid is a year old that's when she will move back to Central if they allow her, for the sake of the child growing inside her...
"Somewhere in the city obviously...With schools in a walking distance, roomy and maybe a garden..It'll be nice don't you think? Plus we have a closer eye on the kid."She said just imaging it. Her childhood home in Central has long been abandoned and it was used for something else now. Ilona never wanted to go back there. She still had her house back in her hometown but that too merely served as a spare gun stash storeroom...

Karyu nodded slightly, agreeing with Ilona completly. A nice house, a beautiful garden, and his little girl skipping off to school happily. Karyu smiled slightly, his imagination clouding his mind, but then he snapped back in reality, not being positive that it would be a girl or boy. However, he hoped that it would be a girl, for some reason... He chuckled slightly trying to think of a place that fit their imagination, but finding a place like that would be rather tough during times like these.

"I'll make sure that our lives are perfect... I promise."

Karyu placed his hand on Ilona's left cheek gently, before he felt the car rumble and start back up. The driver stepped in and took off down the street, which meant they were back on the road to happiness. Karyu's azure eyes seemed to be warm and stayed locked on Ilona for a few moments before he started blushing...

Ilona smiled but felt the scar on her left eye ache. It has long healed now, the skin healed but what was left were jagged burn lines right down her left eye. She just remembered about that incident but decided not to bring it up to Karyu. It's a happy day and there is no point to spoil it with something of the past. There are more important things to live and fear for.
She placed her hand on his cheek, gently carassing it. despite her heavy alchemy, her hands and skin had remained smooth like Aphrodite marble, only the scars on her eyes made it look like stratches on marble but it still did not dull her beauty, if not, abit blunt but still sharp if you are not careful with it.
"Life isn't perfect but we can do our best right?"She said, kissing his lips gently like butterfly wings.

Karyu placed his hand over hers gently, and kissed her back, reassuring her with a calm nod and a warm smile. For quite some time, he had been wondering about the scar over her eye, and was even considering asking her, and this seemed like the best time for them to open up about everything. He scooted closer to her and hugged her gently, placing her head against his chest gently, and kissed her forehead.

"Ilona... that scar on your left eye... How did it happen?"

Karyu had been curious for quite some time, but now was the time to knock everything out of the way. He hugged her a little more tightly, his concern for her growing every second. At this point, anybody that threatened her would have to deal with having their spine ripped out of their back. His azure eyes fell onto Ilona, and he smiled and stroked her cheek with the back of his hand.

"I'll do anything for you... even if it means..."

"Battle scar nothing much..."She did not want to tell him about the Xingese Emperor, the torture he put her through, the mind games and the fear he instilled in her. Even though they are married now and they could trust eachother she did not want him to be worried about her...He will find out eventually since that man knew who thery both were...
"I think I got it in the battle, or during interrogation.."She said offmindedly, tapping his nose. Ilona did not want to think anything else but this moment, nothing was going to ruin it ever..She knew they would both protect eachother, watch their backs as they always have since they were children but Ilona still did not trust him...Because she did not want him to worry at all..

Karyu kissed her gently and nodded slightly, promising her that he'd make them all suffer in due time for harming her. He could tell she was lying, although, he felt she had a good reason for doing so, and he'd probably end up finding out soon anyway. He held her close to him and looked out the window as they approached the border. He grabbed his gun and rolled down the window before blasting at the guards and gate that stood before the border that brought them into Amestrian territory. The bullets exploded and knocked everything out of their way, allowing the car to speed into Amestrian territory. They headed towards Briggs, the safe have for Ilona and Takegami's possible graveyard.

"No matter what happens... don't put the baby at risk..."

He placed his gun back in the front of the car ad sat back, placing his leather gloved hand against his forehead. He was contemplating turning around and living as a fugitive in Amestris... but if he did that, he'd be putting Ilona in harm. He sighed, confused about what he should do.
