→ Felix's alkahestry array is inscribed on his automail left arm. The arm itself is sturdy, lightweight cold-weather alloy. Aside from the alkahestry, there are no combat modifications to the automail, and alkahestry doesn't exactly lend itself to combat.

BRIEFING: 

→ Felix's Alkahestry is designed to cause accelerated clotting of the blood. He's built limiters into the array to prevent the ensuing clot from spreading like the one in his left arm did. The resulting array, while less potent, is still very reliable. The apparent effect; bleeding is slightly accelerated for a second, but then the blood knits together into a clot and from there into a scab, with excess moisture dripping from where it condenses on the palm of Felix's hand.

What goes on behind the scenes is just a bit more complex, and the heightened bleeding means it must be done quickly or it risks doing more injury to the person Felix is treating. When Felix uses his alkahestry, he places his automail hand near the wound and draws blood containing calcium, vitamin K, and fibrinogen, along with a significant amount of platelets, to the site of the cut by activating the first third of the array. Sadly, he hasn't refined it to where he can keep all of the needed blood plasma inside the body. However, he accelerates the body's natural process by manually using the second third of his array to kick-start the formation of fibrin, forming a clot that stanches the bleeding. The third and final portion draws some of the moisture out of the clot, as well as breaking up any fibrin forming in the bloodstream. The result; a scab, with almost exactly the dimensions of the injury that Felix treated.

→ Felix's left arm is made of a high-carbon steel, tempered with aluminum to resist cold climates. The alloy also serves the purpose of reducing the overall weight, allowing him to move more naturally. The array is inscribed on the back of the hand.

SPECIAL ABILITIES:

→ Level One Ability: Seal. This ability is the main focus of Felix's blood-based Alkahestry. Felix uses his array for its intended purpose; drawing calcium, vitamin K, and fibrinogen to the site of a wound and encouraging them to bond into fibrin, then making sure that fibrin in the bloodstream is broken back into those three substances.

The technique seals cuts, however, it also disrupts the normal flow of blood; another cut to the same area would bleed slightly more, and sealing large cuts causes lightheadedness. In addition, this ability does not clean a cut, so if it is done in unsanitary conditions, the patient needs to have the resulting scab broken down or peeled off to clean the wound before stitching it back up, to prevent infection.
