A homunculus and an assassin, what could go wrong? Empty A homunculus and an assassin, what could go wrong?

Karyu walked towards the train station with his suitcase held tightly in his hands. He had recieved a call from his fiancee, Ilona, to come and visit her in Briggs. He wasn't supposed to be there for another week, but he decided to drop by early to help her settle in. His azure eyes traced the sights and roadsigns so he could reach the station... wherever that was. He sighed lightly, his thoughts lost and confused on where to go... maybe he should have gotten a map? He stopped and sat at a bench, crossing his legs femininely, and placed his earphones in and turned the music on his cellphone all the way up. He breathed in what he thought was fresh air, but turned out to be fumes from cars and trucks... disgusting. Karyu placed his hand upon his forehead and sighed before standing onto his two feet, and resuming his little walk to the station.

"Now i see why she left..."

Karyu walked down the paved street untill he came across a small schoolyard playground. He smirked and hopped the fence so he could get a closer look. Luckily, today was saturday, which meant kids shouldn't be around. He sat down o a swing and imagined a day of himself and Ilona playing with their child at this exact playground, enjoying the warmth of the sun on their bodies. He let out a low sigh, his breath smelling like that of cherry blossoms. He removed his black, leather glove from his right hand, and touched his cheek with it. Unlike when his fiancee was around, his hand was freezing cold, just as the rest of his body. No matter how hard the sun beat down on his body, he could not feel that warmth once more without Ilona. He pushed a strand of hair from infront of his eye, and placed his glove back on before he thought he heard something. Despite having his music turned to full, he could still catch the faintest noise of the outside.

"I wonder who that could be..."

Adria was walking by the playground to go shopping, as usual, wearing her expensive custom school uniform, her long blond hair blowing around playfully in the wind. She really looked like a typical, pampered rich child. She noticed a person by the swings at the playground he seemed like he was grown. "What is a full grown human doing at a childerns play area?" she muttered to herself. She walked over to the man with a mad looking face. "Why are you, a full grown human doing at childerns playground?" she asked, not noticing that she called him a human instead of a man. She waited a few seconds for him to answer. "Shouldnt you go get a soul-mate or somthing? Its kind of pathetic watching you mope around like some lost lonely puppy" she remarked, taking joy in insulting him. She felt ignore and noticed ear phones in his ears. "HEY are you even listening to me!?" A qaurter dropped from her purse and she quickly picked up as if it was her child she felt embarassed. It was petty change, but she hated to lose it. She was greedy after all.

Karyu simply smirked as the girl asked him question after question. When she dropped her coin, hs foot quickly moved ontop of it, as to keep it from her. She was a rude one, for sure, but he could easily fix that. His emotionless, azure eyes slowly slendered and glided over to her position. He looked at her, and was able to tell that this child was diffrent from others. Calling him a human, and the fact that she was mentally ill. She was probably the worst of them all. He slowly stood up, and bent over slowly, picking the coin up from beneath his foot. He smirked, giving off a creepy smile, and threw the coin into the woods.

"You seem ill, just like the other child. What is wrong with your head that you have no manners, hm?"

Karyu walked over to the slide and set his suitcase down, his hair now overing his eyes. He smirked as the song on his phone switched to another, one carrying a little heavier, more metallic, dark tune to it. He looked over at her, his eyes now filled with a mix between insanity and anger. He slowly reached into his pocket, but kept his hand there. He didn't like this girl, she was rude and sufferig from mental illness. He couldn't diagnose it right away, but he could tell there was something wrong with her brain. Some nerve had snapped, but what was it?

"It's filthy humans like you that make this world so disgusting. Will you pay for the sins of your own kind?"

Adria suddenly got mad when he compared her to a human. Most humans are only weak filthy creatures she could never be anything like them. "Me, Rude? Your the one who is being rude!" She growled, "Dont compare me to human filth." She took a minute of her time to look at him. "Its getting late I'm going to leave...Old men shouldn't play on swings so you should get going before some else sees you." She looked at the woods where her quarter went. "Well that quarter is no use now... I guess I'll just have to get some more." Adria left without saying anything else and walked towards town.
"Humans are so weak, He just wasted my time when I could have been shopping." she grinned and started walking towards her mansion, hoping that no one else will get in her way. "Well have fun falling into disgrace like the rest of your kind" She called back to him, taking glee in insulting this lesser person. He didn't seem to have much, so there was no point in taking anything away from him.

Karyu chuckled when she left. To him, she was just like all other human filth, a coward and mistake to the earth. He sat back down on the swing, pulling a wad of cash out of his pocket and tossing it on the ground. He had no use for such a large sum of money when there was nothing to spend it on. He sighed and rocked back and forth on the swing, and sighed, staring at the sky. The sun was lowering quite slowly, and soon, it hit the horizon. He smirked, and his hair hid his emotionless eyes, as a cold wind blew through the area.

"He'll be here soon... the goddess will make the descent of the angel of death..."

Karyu slowly arose to his feet, and opened his arms wide, accepting the embrace of the cold wind of the night. Rain clouds were forming erlier, but now they nearly dominated the skies. His music was blasting from his earphones, and his crazed smile seemed to creep out children who were coming to the playground. When the wind stopped, rain began to come down lightly from the heavens, and the lost souls of he world began their dance with each drop of water from the rain. The goddess would soon be reborn, and human filth would meet its end. Karyu grabbed his suitcase and left into the darkness of the forest as the sun made its final setting, and disappeared behind a gray cloud. With the disappearance of the sun, came the disappearance of Karyu.
