Grand Legion of the CIEL DOMINION
THE CIEL DOMINION
Lo and behold the mighty Ciel Dominion! A powerful quartet of nations, the Ciel Dominion consists of Gelemorte, land of ice and cold, and a world power in the areas of whiskey and maple syrup, with the best navy in the world, and Lokheim, located in the northern regions of Gelemort, and the native lands of the proud Lokhyn warriors, the sons and daughters of Odin! The Ciel Dominion is relatively isolated from the main continent, with Gelemorte being about two weeks away by boat, but they hold decent diplomatic standings with a variety of nations, including a strong alliance with Creta, and good relations with Amestris. Of course, if that doesn't appeal to you, there's always the ever-present rivalry with Esparia for you war-like warriors. So if any of this is interesting to you, please, by all means, join us! Who knows, you could be promoted within no time, unlike many countries where promotions are based on more trivial factors than just the king's gut instinct and good faith in his men...

GOVERNMENT POSITIONS
Roy de Royaume de Gelemorte- The leader of Gelemorte, whom EVERYONE in Gele must obey, with little to no room for questioning of his motives, for everyone understands his various eccentricities, at least as far as one can understand them...
Wolfgang Murinyo
(Also, of equal rank to Wolfy, Triangle Hat., It is a guy that is NOT Pyramid Head, in any way, shape, or form, that Wolfy spastically promoted to Chief Petty Major Grand Minor Executioner of Gelemorte. It is to note that after that one cameo, he will probably never be seen or mentioned again, and will basically have never existed.)
General de Gelemorte- Second in command of the whole nation, this is the honorary role given to the Roi` de Royaume's right-hand man. THIS CHARACTER RULES EVERY OTHER SOLDIER OF GELEMORTE. Yes.
Bronze Degan
General Head Chief Assistant Vice-Sub-Secretary/Grand Royal Treasurer/Nice-Car-Lady, AKA "Treasurer of the Ciel Dominion"- This is the person in the Ciel Dominion in charge of everything economical, filing away the royal paperwork, which, incidentally, is ACTUALLY a large group of Macrohard Word documents, as the king dislikes paper to such extents, and is also the private mechanic of Wolfgang Murinyo, and can also act as his designated driver or chauffeur if she feels like it.
Alejandra Rovella
Praetorian Guards- Four guys, girls, or shims that protect dear Wolfy at all costs. ;3 Only four. These fine folk have access to anything in Gelemort, and when not on duty, can go anywhere they please with limited diplomatic immunity outside of Gelemort.
1. Gray Fenrir
2. OPEN

Royal Housemaid - The person who cooks, cleans, and generally just manages the Royal Palace.

FOREIGN POLICY
COUNTRIES
Aerugo: Neutrally Neutral!
Amestris: Friendly relations, if not allies.
Carraig:True Neutral Perhaps a bit friendlier than most nowadays...
Creta: Allies; the two nations have a pretty friendly history, and have strong ties.
Drachma: Owned by RIOTE; at present, neutral, if not at peace with one another.
Esparia: Newly signed peace treaty; void, however, since RIOTE pwned Esparia, and now owns them.
Rouen: Owned by RIOTE, but has a shaky history with Gelemort.
Xing: Neutral.
ORGANIZATIONS
Mafia: Enemy of the Ciel Dominion, but too influential to control, at least until they were expunged from La Cilligia.
Pirates of South Waters: Allies!
RIOTE: At the moment, somewhere between Neutral and polite peacetime jazz and such.
Red Ribbon Rebellion: Secretly allies; current status, unknown.
OTHER
New Tiberia: Currently a Gelemortian state vying desperately to be recognized as its own nation, a modern equivalent of Tiberia. (If interested, contact me for more details, and possibly to plot things. o3o)

INFANTRY AND CAVALRY
Leader of the Chameau-Monta Deathsquad- This is the elite special forces unit of Frostdeath. And this position is the head honcho of the whole unit. Note; This character and the WHOLE CHAMAEU-MONTA should have included in their character apps the fact that they have a trained Woolly Camel to ride. o.o Preferably, optionally, with a name. Also, this character reports directly to the General de Gelemort.
OPEN | OPEN (CAMEL NAME)
Chameau-Monta Deathsquad- These are, as stated, the elite special ops unit. The Chamaeu-Monta are one of the most feared soldiers in the world, on par with the Drachman Kuvalda or the Aerugese Shizu-Ken. They are well known for riding the wooly camels of Gelemort, which are strong, sturdy stallions, normally slow and docile, but easily trained to move faster, with top speeds in the twenties and thirty miles per hour. The camels, however, aren't the most powerful part; the Chamaeu-Monta riders are the only soldiers in Gelemort that are allowed access to top secret weaponry, from high-power carbine rifles to the devastating Gelemortian Gauss Rifle, and they are often trained extensively not only to weild such powerful tools, but to duel-weild them, while riding their camel. Basically, if you attack Gelemort and see a handful of people on camels approaching you, place your head betwixt your legs and kiss your rear end good-bye, as it is very likely you will have noticed by that point that you are dead. As for what the Chameau-Monta do, they are essentially both the police of the nation, and the front-line cavalry brigade. Same rules apply as stated above.
Head of Fort Rose HQ- Leader of the Infantry, reports directly to the General de Gelemorte.
Vincent Richelieu
Infantry-This is the plain old army, short and sweet. And who DOESN'T want to join the Gelemortian army!? You'd be flat-out INSANE not to!

THE NAVY
"Why not Silvac?"
Navy: YES. Gelemorte, an ISLAND nation-continent does in fact have a Navy. o.p how else would they defend the noble shores of the Land? And this navy gets a lot of action too, as one could see from World War III, which WAS in fact, a naval war. You would get a nice ship if you joined too.
Registered Ships: Yep, these are all the ships registered within the Gelemortian Navy, and their crew. You may either register your own ship when you join, or join up with one of these cool crews.
The Royal Rapscallion Yachet V2 (Wolfgang Murinyo): This is the crown ship of Gelemort, a massive combination of a battleship and a yacht. Decked out with cannons and machine guns, it is capable of holding its own, as well as being the commander of the Gelemortian Navy, overlooking the ships as the Fleet Admiral gives orders.

The Prism V2 (Bronze Degan): This ship may be the most powerful ship of the Gelemortian Navy; definitely the chess-metaphorical rook, it is armed with a reflective surface, allowing its captain, however reluctant he is, to fire powerful alchemical lasers at any ship in the sea. Of course, the ship is not often used, as the captain is peaceful and not warlike, which Wolfgang can respect. Thus, this ship is often used for other purposes, instead of war.

The Blazing Raghild, AKA "The Project" (Silvac): This colossus of a ship is as long as ten or so foot ball fields making this ship the longest in existence. Along it's massive length are guns and ballistics of all kinds Torpedoes, heat-seeking missiles, unmanned and manned machine guns, AA guns along with with a few different kinds of depth charges for anti submarine warfare measures. On board of this massive craft is a small city's worth of people, no less is required to make this ship tick. Higher ups usually refer to this ship as "The project" since it took so long to build; in fact it took longer than expected so many don't even believe that it exists.

DRAGONRIDER AIRFORCE
Squadron Commander of the Gelemortian Dragonriders- This is the person charged with maintaining the Ciel Dominion's air force, the Dragonriders. They have equal status as the Fleet Admiral. The Commander and Admiral may meet during times of war to work in tandem, utilizing aircraft carriers at sea.
Alder Finch
The Dragonriders- These men and women work hard to learn not just how to fly, but to learn how to utilize weaponry of all sorts while flying, and to not die in the air. Not quite the Creig pilots of fame, but they do well. To note, there are a number of planes used in Gelemort. Most prominently is the 78-Beech-K, also called the 78-Beekay, which is a large plane often used by parachute soldiers, or for bombing, and the smaller, sleeker 87-Beekay, a fighter jet commonly used by most soldiers with no specialization. In addition, there are the famed Dragonwings, which are very small planes capable of swift maneuvering and possessing powerful machine guns, often utilizing explosive rounds. Another prominent plane model would be the Firebreather, a model of modernized biplane popular amongst the higher-up officers, rather than the everyman pilots.

INTELLIGENCE AND OTHER
Head of Intelligence- This is the person, working seperately from the rest of the military, in charge of gathering information and collecting dossiers for Gele and such. THIS PERSON WORKS DIRECTLY UNDER ROY DE ROYAUME AND GENERAL DE GELEMORTE!
Intelligence Operatives- These are the people, working separately from the rest of the military, in charge of gathering information and collecting dossiers for Gele and such. THIS PERSON WORKS DIRECTLY UNDER HEAD OF INTELLIGENCE! Bronze Degan (~(Triples as Recruitment Official ;D)~)
Head of Research and Development- This is the guy or dame responsible for all of the scientific and technological aspects of Gelemort. Currently, they have put aside the long-running Project Makes Me A Dragon Army, Ey? project and moved on to more reasonable ideas, such as curing the Deadlight Virus.
OPEN~
Sellsword- Those who act as both soldiers for the Ciel Dominion, and therefore Gelemorte, as well as working as mercenaries overseas. Quite a wonderful job, much traveling and fun.
Rufio Wilkerson
Covert Catering Corps- These are the dedicated men and women who serve the great and mystical Wolfy by means of hiding him in large food-products, discreetly sneaking him places, and then allowing him to jump out of the food like a stripper. Also go around throwing shuriken-shaped doughnuts at people. Much of Gelemort's budget is to accommodate their catering.
Angrybird Alchemists- I dare you to mock their names. Triple dog dare you! These are the Gelemortian equivalent of State Alchemists, and the same rules apply for Gele as they do for Amestris, in regards to becoming one, with notable differences; while level 2 is required, it is free, so no point cost, but you must go through a test called "The Trials of Stardom" that Wolfy will administer in-character. If your character cannot handle his insanity in full blossom, you should not become an Angrybird. To note, Wolfy named the group after his favorite game for his mobile device. His mobile device is fun to play Angry Birds on, as he states. Also to note, these are Gelemort's elite forces, generally more renowned than the Royal Guard, and only trumped in fame by the Chamaeu-Monta. They are often incredibly powerful and are sent forth on high-threat-level solo missions, or occasionally on extremely delicate group missions. Should these men and women and others be called up, you know some serious stuff's going down.

Adryion Summers: Lots of crimes; KILL ON SIGHT.
"Bloodluster": 9 Serial Killings, Cannibalism; SEEK AND CAPTURE.
Marco Falzone: Racketeering, treason, conspiracy to commit murder, blackmail; WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE. The REST of the Falzones are to be apprehended and if possible arrested. If not possible, shoot on sight.

LOKHYN EXCLUSIVE
The Lokhyn are the indigenous peoples of Gelemort, which they call Lokheim, and as such, are separate from the population, which is mainly composed of people descending from Creta, Rouen, and Tiberia. They are akin to our own Vikings, and generally thrive in their village, which comprises the entire city of Aevadauor. SO. Without further adieu, I bring to you, the hiearchy of the Lokhyn;

DOE'ANN EXCLUSIVE
(FULL Credit to One Bronze Degan. >w>)
As a brief first note, by le Jay, Maginea is the land in far-Southern Gelemort that produces the Doe'an people, a culture that is relatable to the Romani of the non-MDA universe.
Family life and marriage
Family life among the Doe'an is quite similar to the Indian way of living. A typical family would consist of parents and their children. When the oldest son married, he would continue to live with his parents, during which time, his wife would learn the ways and customs of the family. Once she has imbibed everything, the couple would move out to live separately. By this time, the younger son would be married and his wife would take over the task of learning, imbibing and carrying on the family traditions.
Until the twentieth century, marriages were mainly arranged by the parents and other elders in the family. An interesting feature of a Doe'an marriage was the practice of the bridegroom's parents paying a bride price to her parents. The chieftain or the voivode as he was known, handled finances and administrative issues including the pattern of migration, and interacted with the local authorities.
Changing culture
The Doe'an have a rich oral tradition; they have contributed very little to written literature. Doe'an music glorified familial and ethnic loyalty and it helped to preserve their customs, traditions and beliefs. However, towards the second half of the twentieth century, the Doe'an had to face erosions of their lifestyle by urban society. Integrated housing, marriage with non-Doe'an and other social changes began to erode the conservatism, which they had treasured for centuries.
Occupations
Doe'an have always preferred occupations that allowed them to continue their nomadic way of life. While the gypsy men chose being animal trainers, metal smiths, livestock traders and exhibitors, the Doe'an women sold potions and told fortunes.
In today's world, traveling circuses provide employment for the Doe'an as animal trainers and handlers and fortune-tellers. Some Doe'an also find employment as car mechanics. Others dabble in selling second hand cars and trailers.
Migration
All nomadic Doe'an migrate seasonally, along patterned routes. They also follow along a chain of kin or tribal links. They generally travel in caravans of cars, trucks and trailers.
Voivode: chieftain and leader of the Doe'an people.
Travelers: More a Title of respect then a rank. A Traveler is someone who has explored and covered more ground then the average Doe'an and seen sights few others can boast of.
Bronze Degan
Tsuritsa Cooper
Pitti(Translates to stone): Those who maintain the holdings of the Doe'an people. They forsake their own road so that others may walk theirs with greater ease.
Loiza: The warrior sect of the Doe'an people. This brotherhood is named after the greatest hero of Doe'an legend. All members are alchemists, but like the hero Loiza they will not practice or use alchemy(or Jekhipe the "oneness") in a way that directly leads to the death of another individual. This is their greatest taboo with human transmutation as a close second.
Didikai: A Title given to proven friends of the Doe'an. Considered family.
ALSO, All Doe-an related questions that you may have, you should redirect them to Bronze, as he knows his stuff better than I. xD Though if he is unavailable, I can help. ^^ Though applying for positions is the same as ever. xD

TEXTBOOK AND FAQ (BECAUSE I FRIGGIN LOVE ADDING SECTIONS TO STUFF)
The Ciel Dominion: A History 3rd Edition (COMING SOON TO SHELVES NEAR YOU!)
FAQ
1. Y U NO MOAR EXPLOSIONS!?!?1?!?
Well, because MDA's special effects budget is VERY. VERY.; LIMITED. Every explosion costs TWELVE. CENT. We end up blowing Bill Gates' net worth annually, with such an expensive expense!
2.Why does Gelemort have a cavalry... Made of camels? With GAUSS RIFLES!?
THE BUDGET MIGHT BE LOW FOR EPLOSIONS, BUT RULE OF COOL HAS NO BUDGET.

ATTENTION: PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
As of now, Gelemort is currently lacking four FAIRLY IMPORTANT INDIVIDUALS. Just a quick note to those reading this who AREN'T already playing some position in Gelemort, I'll totally give you fifty points for making any one of these characters!~
- Head of Intelligence
- Head of the Navy
- Head of the Cavalry
- Head of Research & Development
HEAVY focus on that last one, especially, as a closing note. Would be a great idea to take that one on if you're looking for some more plot relevance, as far as the Deadlight mission goes. o3o
