PERSONALITY:
→ Jake is a fiercly loyal character. Because of this he can be proud and protective. He'll guard anything and anyone close to him with his life, and boasts of his groups and friends. He isn't one to brag much about himself, though. He is friendly, but he is slow to deem people as 'friends'. He doesn't believe he is friends with someone until he knows them on a personal, but this is one of the few things he doesn't rush. He is very impatient on most everything else though....
Jake is clever and very bold, but he doesn't always think things through. This combination usually lands him into trouble without trying. He is very easygoing and good humored. He can take a joke, even if it's aimed at him. He's often thought as lazy because he doesn't usually take much action unless it's of personal importance. But when he's motivated to do something, he'll pull through till the end, no matter what. He is also very stubborn. He has a strong sence of justice and will follow that no matter what people tell him. This again puts him at odds with superiors.
He can be easily distracted with something more interesting to him than his current job. He's eager to learn new things and tries to discover as much as he can.

HISTORY:

It is WAY too popular and rarely played out well. Once in a while, I'll accept a well written tragedy, but most of the time... no. Characters don't need horrific histories in order to be interesting. Keep the child abuse, rape, family deaths, etc out of here. They get old fast.
