I've been a Wild Rover... Wait, what is that anyways?
"Ah-dee-doo ah-dee-doo-da-day~ Ah dee-doo ah dee daaaaa dee! He whistled and he sang.... Er... How did the rest of it go?" Hanna mused aloud to herself as she wandered through the streets of Dublin with her hands swinging utterly carefree at her sides. She seemed like a normal enough child with her pants, shirt, and boots but the odd thing was the long case that was strapped to her back. One had to wonder what was within it, but she wasn't really concerned about such appearances. She knew what it was, and that was what mattered, right? It was a present anyways! They would allow her to carry about her present right? Right right? Shrugging lightly to herself, she continued humming the little tune to herself as she cast her dark eyes about the quaint little streets. So many of the buildings seemed so old like... Gasp! Like they had come out of a fairy tale! Yes! That was it! They were like little fairy tale buildings that were just so picturesque! Now if only there were fairy tale creatures running around, then that would complete the painting!
Oh wait, the world didn't work like that. Right! There was alchemy, and alkahestry, and planes, and biological warfare, and.... people.. that weren't... human.... Hmmmmmmmmmm, so who was to say that there weren't fairy tale creatures running around?! Wait... that particular brand of magic wasn't possible. It was fantasy and would remain there. Yes. Everything that they could do was based upon various different types of system and was not magic. It was still science. There were formula's! That is correct. You learned well while you were asleep. Hanna couldn't help but grin and swell with pride at herself, giggling as she skipped down the street till she was distracted by a blacksmiths shop, the sound of the persons hammer reaching her ears. Ooooooo what was he making? Was it a sword? A hammer? An axe? Or maybe it was a suit of armor! Oh wait, people didn't really wear armor anymore of that type at least... They just had um... oh crap, what was it called..... Kevlar! That was it! They had kevlar for bullets!
What was she doing? Oh yeah! Blacksmith! She strode up to the humble little store and glanced around the wares that hung upon the wall. A kindly woman was behind the counter checking over the inlay of a particular piece. Hanna paid her no mind as she strode around a bit till she could see the blacksmith hammering away at whatever it was he was working on. It really was an entrancing sight and difficult for her to pay attention to anything else. Should she have him look at her sword? Or maybe her daggers? Though they were excellent weapons in excellent condition so there really shouldn't be any need to. "Afpiweh rih?" Uh oh. The dark haired child startled as she realized the woman was speaking to her in a foreign tongue, her mind and body freezing up entirely in a fit of not knowing what to do. "I... I..." Wait, Ishvallan would NOT help her here. "I'm sorry I don't understand!" She defaulted to Amestrian next as she bit her lower lip, backing away towards the door. What did she do? "Och asdijw, oijrfnr palfn." Er... Er....
"I'll... just.. be going... Sorry for disturbing you!" And with that she bolted out of the door without a second thought, running down the cobble stone street towards.... somewhere. She honestly didn't know. All she knew was that she hadn't understood a word of what had been said in a country where that gibberish was the common tongue. Why in the world had she chosen to come here after Creta? Oh yeah, because her brother worked here.... Hehe.... She really should have started to learn Creig along the way. "I wonder where I should go..." But it didn't REALLY matter, did it? It was an adventure!

I got me six months 'ard!
For his courtin' in the kitchen!

Me toora loora la and me toora loora laddie!~
Thank ye ver'eh much, yer all a great crowd!~ That'll be all fer today, 'm'afraid, love'ye'all~" As the small crowd around the street performing semi-celebrity dispersed, content with her small set of "The Boys are Back in Town", "The Night Pat Murphy Died", and "Captain Kelly's Kitchen", Molly sheathed her world-famous Mollytar. (QUITE A HUMBLE ADJECTIVE, NO?) in its case, and headed off to one of her favorite shops in Dublin; Shaina Finnegan's Blacksmith shop~ Shaina was a very talented lady, as it was; not only was she a skilled blacksmith when it came to tools and weapons, but she was also an expert luthier, and Molly's personal go-to girl for her guitars and violin. And Molly had, of course, left her shiny golden fiddle of possibly Satanic origins with the lass for proper check-up and repairing and all, and she was going to go retrieve it.
So she walked the short ways to the shop and walked in, to stand in line behind a girl slightly taller than she, obviously someone in her twenties or thirties such as herself, for children couldn't be THAT tall... Right? Sadly, her mind was broken when the girl spoke up, confused, in Ishvallan, then in Amestrian, not quite understanding Shaina. As the girl backed away, Molly obtained her fiddle and turned just as the girl darted off, speaking some gibberish of her own device. So Molly headed after her, as the girl finally stopped, not having noticed Molly following her. "Phew! Yer'a quick one, lass, ya'know? Heehee~ M'name's Molly, I noticed ya dun't speak Creig. What's'yer name?~" Ignoring the height difference, and the sudden feeling of shortness, she extended a friendly hand to the girl, with her free hand, as one grasped the gold violin and its similarly shiny bow, her Mollytar's case firmly slung over her shoulder, resting diagonally across her back. After letting the girl respond, if she did, Molly piped up again; "So, where ye from? 'N why're ye in Carrag if ya dun't know th' language? Dun'tcha think tha's a bit silly?~"

Re: I've been a Wild Rover... Wait, what is that anyways?
Hanna almost jumped twelve feet into the air at the voice that suddenly appeared behind her, a hand immediately reaching towards the top of the long black case on her back as she whipped around with a little yelp. AH! SOMEONE HAD FOLLOWED HER! "Phew! Yer'a quick one, lass, ya'know? Heehee~ M'name's Molly, I noticed ya dun't speak Creig. What's'yer name?~" Wait... She understood her! This was a good thing! Though... she had seen her in that shop? Wow, Hanna must have not been that observant to have not noticed her! She was so distinctive with her red hair, guitar case, and golden fiddle! Surely she would have noticed that before. Oh well, she clearly hadn't but it didn't really matter now did it? "I'm Hanna! Yeah, I'm afraid I don't understand the native tongue here. Oopsie?" She giggled and swayed shyly from side to side, a little bit surprised to find herself looking down slightly at the woman. But she was probably so much older than her! Shouldn't she be taller? Then again... normally everyone else seemed taller to Hanna so it was strange when she found someone who wasn't! It reminded her of just how much she did not look right for her age or race for that matter.
"So, where ye from? 'N why're ye in Carrag if ya dun't know th' language? Dun'tcha think tha's a bit silly?~" It was pretty silly. She blushed slightly and nodded, staring for a bit at her toes before she looked back up to Molly with a sweet little smile. "I'm from East City in Amestris. It is silly but... WELL..." She pouted a little and sighed, wondering why it was that Toss hadn't suggested she learn Creig sooner! She didn't want to appear so goofy in front of people! She wanted to fit in without a hitch and that was not working right now. "My brother works here so I decided to come here too! I mean... I'd rather be traveling than stuck in Amestris thats for sure. I've been there long enough." She certainly didn't really have that strong of a desire to be in East City specifically. She was sure that her parents wanted to see more of her, except that she wanted to get out and explore! She wanted to see all the places that Greed had told her about! She wanted to live and experience, she wanted to eat all the delicacies, she wanted to see! South City was really really pretty, and Creta was old and full of grace. She almost wondered if she liked it better than Amestris! Not that she really had a lot of things to base her thoughts off of.
"So are you a bard? I've heard that Carraig has lotsa bards! And lotsa harps! Though you clearly aren't carrying a harp." She mused as she leaned around, making a quick circle about Molly to examine. Nope nope, no harps hidden there! Not unless.... GASP! MOLLY HAD FOLD TECHNOLOGY?! Don't be stupid girl. Yeah.... That would just be totally ridiculous. But it'd be so cool!

Molly nodded with a friendly smile as the girl spoke on, having gotten over the uneasy feeling of vertical challenge, and listened as she explained stuff and such. "Ahhh... Well, nice ta meetcha', Hanna!~" Listening further, she learned Hanna was from East City, over there in that land of nice booze and bratwursts. Then again... Most places Molly'd been to had nice booze. But none had nice bratwurst AND nice booze! And even more, she heard, and learned it was her brother she'd come to see, who was the reason she was here. Ahhhh, that made more sense! "Brother, aye? What's he do fer's livin', o'er here'n Carraig?~ If'n ye dun't mind m'askin', o'course."
And as she got some form of response, she heard Hanna remark on her instrumental talents, and Molly had to laugh, with a bright and shining smile. "Aye, I s'pose ye could say't tha' way! Aye, I'ma bard, 'n I kin play th' guitar, th' keyberd, th' bagpipes, th' vi'lin, 'n" With a devilish grin, as Hanna noted she likely had no harps, she drew from her small satchel strapped to her left hip, hidden mostly by flowing crimson, and from the bag, drew a small harp, plucking a few notes. " 'N th' harp~ Got ye a fav'rite song, lass?~"

Re: I've been a Wild Rover... Wait, what is that anyways?
"Ahhh... Well, nice ta meetcha', Hanna!~" Hanna grinned then and suddenly reached forward to clasp Molly's hand, shaking it with a surprisingly firm grip for one of her age before letting go and seeming a little shy. She hadn't gotten a chance to meet a lot of people for obvious reasons, like being stuck in a coma for the past few years. Though! Though that wasn't quite true! She met people! They were just.... A part of me? Yeah! That. Hehe. "Brother, aye? What's he do fer's livin', o'er here'n Carraig?~ If'n ye dun't mind m'askin', o'course." Uhh... uhh... OH YEAH! She had to pause a moment before answering as she had to remember what it was exactly that he did, though she knew she still didn't have it fully right. "He's a pilot! He flies for the King!" She answered with a grin, swelling with pride at her brothers accomplishments. He had always loved flight so, and here he was! Flying for a country! She wasn't sure what he thought of being in the military, but she knew he must enjoy getting to work with flying stuff! Oooo how she wanted to see what he might be working on now! After all, she had missed some years there!
In some corner of her mind, Hanna was relieved that her new friend hadn't taken offense to how she was staring so, or that she was running around her. "Aye, I s'pose ye could say't tha' way! Aye, I'ma bard, 'n I kin play th' guitar, th' keyberd, th' bagpipes, th' vi'lin, 'n" WOW! That was a lot of instruments! She hadn't ever gotten a chance to learn such a thing so it was always amazing to her when she found someone who was so talented. As she slowed to a stop before Molly, Hanna noticed that she was pulling something out, her eyes going wide as she saw the little harp sitting there in her hand. WHAT!!!!! " 'N th' harp~ Got ye a fav'rite song, lass?~" "AHH!!" She cried happily, clapping her hands together with a bright giggle. "Um, um, um!!!!!" Song! Song! What was a song she loved? "Oh I don't know, play me something you like!" That was a much better compromise. She would get to hear a new song that way too!

Re: I've been a Wild Rover... Wait, what is that anyways?
Accepting the handshake with a firm grip of her own, Molly was surprised yet again by Hanna's slightly firmer grip; WHY WERE KIDS THESE DAYS SO BIG AND STRONG!? Madre de Dio, if every other kid was like this... Molly'd have to move to some place where everyone was tiny like her! And then, from seemingly nowhere, the handshake ceased, and Hanna pulled her hand away to where it was before. Bold and friendly one minute, and shy the next? Odd, but okay... Wait, why was Molly mentally calling people odd!? She tackled bear-people and hugged her Mountain Friend!! But, at any rate, she decided to say something else, as it seemed Hanna was being quiet, and so she did.
And in turn, she got an answer! Yay for conversation! That answer also piqued her curiosity; her brother flew for the king? In Carraig? Well, they had a mighty air force, true. Let's see... Who did she know that flew planes for Gavin... Kenny? No, he didn't have any sisters... Marvin, maybe? No, wait, only child. Uuuum... Kelly? No, not Kelly; he'd moved out of Carraig ages ago, and besides, his sister was Cerisian, not Amestrian! Hmmm... Who could it be...? NO MATTER!
Moving on, the girl had taken interest in her bardic bardliness and her many instruments, and the surprising ability she possessed to carry all of them all at once. And even more so, the girl was delighted at seeing her harp, so Molly went ahead and resheathed her other weapons of mass musical creation, and wielded only her harp! Enchanted by magical harp-making elves, for a normal, regular, err'day harpist with no need for the fancies, unlike her custom guitar-keytar, and her violin of possible Satanic magic, which she felt was probably just due to the fact she won it in Georgia, Creta, that one night. But, yes, with the harp in hand, she waited for Hanna's request, and when no request was given but to play a song, she smiled and did such.

When the song had ended, she looked up from the harp to Hanna, with a grin. "So, d'd'ja like it, then?~"

Re: I've been a Wild Rover... Wait, what is that anyways?
Hanna truly could not believe it! She had spent all of a few moments in this country and already she had found such an awesome person! Did Toss know her? Had he run into her at all? She hadn't asked him nearly enough questions about what he did in the military here, though he had been rather busy and she hadn't wanted to trouble him too much at all. Well... that... and she kind of had decided to wander around the countryside a lot. She had wanted to see everything she could with her limited knowledge of languages since she had been out cold for sooooooo long! And I had nothing to do with that hm? Oh yeah.... Yes yes, her friends that were inside her (she still hadn't quite figured out how that worked despite learning how and why she was now not really human anymore) had really REALLY made her want to go everywhere and experience everything! They had such amazing stories!! Oooooo, did this bard know some more awesome stories? Hanna wanted to hear them! Yes she did!
But then Molly pulled out her harp which immediately drew the young girls attention, her dark eyes focusing with an almost unnatural amount of focus upon the instrument. As the notes greeted her, her mouth opened slightly in her shock, eyes growing as wide as saucers over the next few moments. How.... how did her fingers move so intricately?! How did such an amazing sound exist? She wanted it. She wanted to know how to produce such gorgeous sounds too! She could produce beauty with her Dog Fangs and Blackfire, but that held a grim beauty or so she was told. Nothing like the majesty that greeted her ears as she stood there completely entranced with the woman before her. Why hadn't she listened to their parents and tried to learn an instrument? All she had done was play with her brother as he worked on his planes and whatnot! Though, that meant she had SOME kind of knowledge of tech, but it was certainly nothing quite useful. She could probably be an assistent if she asked. Or wait.... maybe not... She was only 13 after all. They probably wouldn't want to let her near such big dangerous equipment!
"So, d'd'ja like it, then?~" AH!!! RIGHT! Hanna blinked and clapped furiously at the end of the song, bouncing up and down as a giggle trickled from her. "THAT WAS AMAZING!!! How did you learn how to play? Who taught you? Was it hard to learn? Could I learn too?" The questions burst out of her as if someone had poked a blister, and Hanna wanted to know. She really really wanted to. Wait a minute, just because she wanted to didn't mean she had to be rude about it! Appearing a bit more sheepish, she smiled shyly as she stared at Molly with such wonderment. "Sorry, I'm just really excited because that was so awesome! I wish I could play a musical instrument!"
