DESCRIPTION:
→ Meilin has short, raven black hair that she constantly brushes behind her ear so that her bangs don’t block her line of vision. Her eyes are almond shaped and are black-ish brown. Her body is lissome, and useful when trying to maneuver out of the way of an attack. The she has pale skin and a clear complexion. She originally had long hair, but after the death of her brother she cut it, but is now trying to grow it back out. She wears a lot of tight, short jackets with long sleeves and wide cuffs in the colours of black, red and gold and silver accessories, along with black spandex shorts and pink ruffled miniskirts. She has white thigh-high socks and red heels. Her outfit is all to benefit her in combat because it helps her move around without any restraint, not for show. She has a light airy voice, but can be heard when she wants to be heard. She tries to be as respectful as possible, but tends to lose her well-tamed temper to silly reasons like when someone tries to stop her from eating chocolate.

PERSONALITY:
→ Meili is a protective girl, which can be dangerous when a friend, or someone she cares about, goes into battle because she feels obliged to help them. Her protective side comes from her loss of her family. She hates making others worried about her so she constantly covers up her emotions where necessary, but this causes her to lose sleep at night and become stressed. Aside from all of that, she is determined to get any job done in any way possible. In battle she tries to see every possible way to finish it quickly, or to avoid battle completely. She may not like battle, but she will fight either way for the people she loves. She can be bent to anyone’s will if she has no other way to save her friend.

Meili can be playful and enjoys teasing people once she gets to know them better, but when she first meets a person she acts all formal and business like. She’s an easy shell to crack when it comes to first meetings, it just takes a little poking but she’ll open up. She enjoys jokes a lot, letting loose a light giggle when she enjoys a joke, but when it comes to a lewd joke she will quickly get offended and won’t forget it. She always tries her best to be polite, but cannot help it if she appears any other way, and when she does notice herself straying from her politeness she will be quick to apologize, unless of course she thinks you deserve it. When it comes to mourning (if the moment calls for it), she will need a strong push forward or else she will stay in the past and always thing of that one (or more) person(s). On a normal day, Meili is seen with a small smile on her face, which can occasionally widen when she remembers something funny or anything that made her happy.

HISTORY:
→ Meili was born, and grew up, in Xi’an, Xing. She could never pull herself away from that city, no matter how hard her family had tried to take her away to a safer and smaller village, Mei refused. Something had kept her there, but she didn’t know what at the time. She simply let fate float her along the river of her life. The early years of her life were normal, as normal would be for a young child, and the days were spent with playing in the sun during the long days of summer and reading books and drinking sweet tea during the winter. It was during one of these winters that she had come across a little alchemy, although because of her age she didn’t understand it then, but it had always stuck with her, deep in the far walls of her mind.

As she grew older she went further into the studies of alchemy, hiding old books on it from her parents and older brother, and reading in the dead of night. She was curious as to why such a thing stuck with her, as if it were supposed to be with her. After a few failed attempts at alchemy, involving a messy explosion of mud, she gave up on it in frustration. Her family, seeing her in her odd state of nothingness, forced her out of the city and on a vacation out to a lake for camping. This was where she gained her fear of water. She had been playing by the lake with a paper crane she had made, proud as one would be after making it with next to perfect folds, when it floated out of her reach. In the city she had never bothered to learn how to swim, so when she dived into the water to grab her quickly receding crane the outcome was not the best. She sunk quickly, and panicked as one would in that state, and was expecting the worse. She was saved by and old man whom had been passing by at just the right moment (her parents were preoccupied with many various stuff you do while camping to notice).

Years after the incident by the lake, Meili has always been afraid of water, tensing whenever she was around it. After this she found re-determination to further her studies in alchemy. This was where her chocolate ‘obsession’ came into play. She spent many nights, eating chocolate and reading book after book of alchemy. Her hair went from long to short as she slowly increased her skill of alchemy. It wasn’t until she had managed to create a gust of heated wind from hot water that she had decided it was time that she continued on her way as an alchemist, and hopefully a state alchemist at some point.

1) At the top of the app, please specify which militant your character is. Amestrian? Xingese?

2) Don't link straight from Zerochan - you'll have to save and upload the image to a hosting website like Photobucket first.

3) Remember to put your languages in your signature.

4) Also, remember to make a transmutation app.

5) Less of an issue, but you should put a line break between each of your paragraphs. Makes your posts easier to read. ^_^

6) You've referred to her several times as Meilin as opposed to Meili. I dunno if this is an oversight, a nickname... whatever it is, just a heads-up. ^_^
