CASE FILE: Transmutation Equipment
Munahid Al-Wazir
...........................................................................
→ Frozen Soul
TYPE:
→ Elemental Alchemy: Ice
LEVEL:
→ 1
FORM:
→ it's formed by two tattoos that are marked onto Munahid's hands. They don't work until they're combined, so he has to clap and then grab the thing he wants to freeze.
...........................................................................
BRIEFING:
→ The transmutation array is formed out of a line inside of a circle, hitting the edges of a triangle. Three lines connect the circle with a larger circle, trisecting the circle into equal thirds. When the array is completed, a light blue light is formed showing that a chemical reaction is taking place. It starts off by taking some of the user's heat energy from his body, not enough to cause a serious negative repercussion but enough to start it off. It quickly lowers the temperature of whatever he touches by absorbing the heat energy of the opponent and using it to enhance the power of this technique. Apart from the original heat energy, it doesn't affect the user at all, due to it now having a more direct power-source to drain. The only thing that the user has to know is the temperature of which to stop at in order to shatter/freeze the object. It doesn't affect what he can't touch, and thus the air isn't affected. The only things he can cause to drop in temperature is a liquid and a solid.

SPECIAL ABILITIES:
→ The special ability to this technique is to rapidly decrease the temperature of what he touches. However, the lower the temperature needed to shatter something, the longer it takes to decrease its temperature sufficiently. For example, if he put his hands on water, he could cause it to freeze within seconds due to the fact that it has a relatively high freezing temperature (0' Centigrade), to shatter the bone of an opponent it would take thirty seconds of grabbing an opponent, because the temperature is moderately low (-70' Centigrade). Finally, it would take an entire two minutes of grabbing an opponent to cause the air in their lungs to solidify, killing them stone dead. (-219' Centigrade). Due to the fact that it's him who's causing the change, he's able to stop himself from being affected by the change, similar to how a flame alchemist prevents his hands from catching on fire.

REVISE
1) Energy used for alchemy is taken from the tectonic plate movement beneath the characters' feet. That's gone over and been verified as canon, so you won't draw energy from your body. It can still have negative repercussions in this form, but they won't be related to energy usage.
2) Considering it's a single branch of alchemy, have it effect either solids or liquids, not both. Freezing the insides of the lungs could be done at around 0 degrees as well, I think, if you're freezing the moisture inside.
3) Employ a limit to how cold he can freeze something, preferably WELL above absolute zero (-273C). I'd say -100C is around reasonable - at levels 2 and 3 you can build upon it and scale this up.
4) Maybe include somewhere that the amount of liquid/solid you're freezing, the temperature you're lowering it to, and its surface area directly correlates with the time, and include those as semi-accurate reference points.
5) Include some form of drawback, like lowering of body temperature after constant use, so he can't just spam it and kill everyone. Just a margin for error, or a requirement. Maybe his hands cool and his bones start to ache after using it continually (over three-four minutes). Either way, implement some form of rest period after he uses his alchemy for long and intense periods of time.
