DESCRIPTION:
→ Breathtaking. That was definitely a word that has been used to describe Raina, though not because of her body or her beauty. Sure, she is beautiful, but even now it is hard for some to get passed her red eyes, the eyes of an Ishvallan. The history of Amestris connected with those eyes make them constant reminders of the hope that lies in the present for history to never repeat itself. Raina’s white hair is long, going down to her lower back, straight and billowing behind her in just the slightest of breeze. When she looks at you, her piercing eyes seem to look right through you, thin lips set in a line on her face, corners of her mouth down slightly.

She rarely smiles. Being half Amestrian, her skin is porcelain and fair, though by now it is blemished by the scars of missions and battles. When she speaks, you see the hint of her bright pearly white teeth, straight with what could be the slightest bit of an overbite, though not noticeable. Raina is slim, but muscular, keeping herself in shape by running and sparring. Being a dog of the military, Raina rarely gets to express her individuality when it comes to her style. She is nearly almost seen in the standard issue military uniform. When it is not needed, she takes those chances to dress herself up a bit, liking dresses and hills when appropriate. When she speaks, her inflections do not hide her emotion. Her voice rings like a bell, but her emotion gives away her feelings.

PERSONALITY:
→ Loud, happy, sweet...these are not words to describe Raina Young. In fact, she could seem the exact opposite of this. Due to her own history and that of the Ishvallan people (from which half of her came), she is very prideful in what she does. Though it is still thought by many Ishvallans that Alchemy is blasphemy looked down upon by their god, Raina believes that in this day and time, nearly a century after the Civil War, it is not an abomination. There are others who are performing it as well, she knows. Why she has such pride in her Ishvallan heritage, but rarely speaks of her Amestrian one can be linked back to her own history. It is something that she never talks about, not believing that anyone else would even really care about her thoughts and feelings. She learned as a child not to bother people with her selfish wants, desires, or problems, but to see them and their solutions out on her own.

Don’t let the strong front and stubbornness fool you though, Raina is still just like any other woman. She does get emotional, perhaps even more than the normal person. More often than not, she takes what people say about her or two her to heart. She thinks she can tell when a person doesn’t like her, just by looking at them, though she really never seems to give most a chance to prove her wrong about that subject. Needless to say, Raina has always been quite the loner. That’s one thing she dislikes about the military, that while it gives her a chance to prove herself, she has to work with others. Obviously, she’s not a people person. Teamwork isn’t her forte by any means. She has, on many occasions, gotten herself and those she was supposed to be working with in trouble, not just with their commanding officers, but trouble that could have led to death.

HISTORY:
