Meeting the thief Empty Meeting the thief

Hagen was brought back here without any real trigger. There was nothing to explain why he now stood in Gelemorte, eye locked on something as stupid as this... But it was so appealing. And that was the sad part. It was just so simple... Just a simple red ball. Nothing more. Why did he want it? Because it wasn't his. That made it irresistible to him. He pulled his white hoodie around him tighter as he then crossed his arms. His eyes were set on the target on the other end of the shop he was in... Getting to it and getting it out without being noticed? easy enough, right? He bit his lip as his eyes slid over to the man looking at toys for his child or whatever. Nobody looked at him, the newfound brother of Wolfgang, but they all went on mindlessly as he stood there. Staring at this ball.

The intelligent part of his brain was uninterested and was thinking of leaving and going to do something productive. But the other part of his brain wanted this. Wanted this damn ball that was about the size of your fist. That was all it was. Nothing more. But to him it WAS. It was so much more. He began to walk down to aisle slowly, not pulling in any attention. The man looked at him for a moment before looking back again and that was when Hagen put his hand on the back of his neck and before the man could react the array on the back of Hagen activated and the man fell to the ground, motionless. Not even looking at him. He stepped back and turned to look at his target and quickly grabbed the ball and shoved it into his pocket before making his way off quickly towards the cashier who was reading a magazine.

"Sir, I was back there and that man just collapsed!" he said, sounding panicked. And as soon as the man dropped his paper and ran around the counter to go tend to the man Hagen knew he was going to get away with this. He shoved his hands in his pockets and turned towards the door and simply left. As soon as he was a couple buildings away he pulled the ball out of his pocket and tossed it up and down, grinning.
