DESCRIPTION:
Lucas has ginger hair of medium length, reaching down to just touch his neck, and eyes of a similar, somewhat darker, colour. His skin is smooth as with his facial features, making him look rather younger then he is and quite handsome.

He stands with his back straight, a force of habit forced upon him by his father, and walks rather respectivly, how one would expect someone of high class to walk. Somewhat of a contrast, however, he tends to have his hands in his pockets at all times.

When out and about Lucas tends to wear his black trenchcoat, a top of any colour, and trousers of any colour. On his feet he wears a pair of brown shoes while around his neck he will always wear, no matter the weather, his pale red scarf. Underneath the cover of his trenchcoat he hides a pistol for personal protection.

When on his night missions he will wear black trousers, shirt, gloves, mask and shoes to both remain hidden and to hide his identity. When on missions during the day he will wear camo trousers, black boots, a green top, a camo jacket and a green mask. On both night and day missions he will keep a pistol on his side and a rifle on his back.

PERSONALITY:
Lucas is the kind of man one would expect to be among the higher classes, spending his time in upper-class parties and not bothering himself with the problems of the poor. He is sophisticated, intelligent and has a distinct posh accent that comes out whenever he speaks. He enjoys reading into philosophy and the thoughts of others, ever interested in the workings of the mind, but does not talk about it to others, believing it to give off the impression that he is a pretentious ass.

In reality however Lucas sees himself as just another man, with no greater importance then any other man you would pass in the street. In fact he views himself as rather unimportant, having no loved ones or even many friend due to his work. This doesn't upset him at all, it was actually the very thing he wished for when he was younger, though he does wish that he could be less lonely.

To others Lucas will often seem emotionless, saying things bluntly and usually having no expression on his face. This is not true, however, as Lucas is just as able to feel emotion as anyone else. Lucas isn't sure why he does seem so emotionless, but it is likely due to the fact that it helps him deal with the killing of other people that he has to partake in for his work.

Many would assume from Lucas's work, emotionless exterior and lack of any friends that he is immoral, that he would kill anyone without a second thought if the pay was good enough. This couldn't be more incorrect. In fact Lucas absolutely refuses to kill any civilian because he believes that they haven't 'put themselves forward' for it, as opposed to militants (who knew their lives would be in risk when they signed up) and criminals (who should know the consequences for what they do).

HISTORY:

Lucas was born the son of a rich Cretan General, a cold and cruel man who believed that only in war and battle where people at their best. His family had always served the Cretan military, throughout all the regime changes through all of known history. Of course Lucas was thought to continue this 'tradition', something that he never wanted to be a part of.

His father put him through rigorous training, teaching him how to shoot a gun from the day that he could walk. Lucas progressed slowly in his training, moving on from pistols to CQC to rifles to explosives rather quickly. It was at this point that he was sure that he had absolutely no choice in his future, that he was doomed to continue a tradition that he despised with all his might. In the little time that he would manage to steal away from his training Lucas would read in the peace of his own room, rather lonely with the exclusion of being kept away from other children his age.

His father always preached about the importance of holding up the family traditon, that he was soon to be an important part of the Cretan Military and slaughter it's foes without a second thought. Being rather afraid of his father, Lucas never once thought to oppose him and always did as he was told. His father thought him to be a success.

In an act of supreme pride and idiocy Lucas's father decided to send him on his first mission when he was but seventeen years of age. It was an assasination, kill a man who fancied himself a rebel against the government, simple enough to only require one man, especially one trained as well as Lucas. However, his father forgot to mentally prepare Lucas for killing a man. When Lucas shot the man, three bullets to the chest with a high-powered sniper rifle, he was put into shock. He was scared beyond belief, his hands shook widely and he couldn't think straight. In an act of desperation he took all of the equipment he was given and ran far away, fast as he could, until he managed to cross the border into Aerugo.

From then he wasn't sure what to do, living as a petty theif stealing food from stalls, until he accidently came across a man looking to kill a murderer. Lucas, still having the equipment from his first mission, decided that he would take on this job. He killed the murderer, a bullet directly to the back of the head with a pistol, but this time found himself with no issues.

Having no skills other then those that could be used for killing or espionage Lucas decided to become a mercenary. He would take missions from anyone, including the Cretan military he despised, under the alais of Vertu, forever following his one rule to never kill civilians.
