BRIEFING:
→ Throwing knives: The throwing knives seen in picture one are the current knives being used by Askeladd, they feature a spear like body and are honed to perfect sharpness. They are differently shaped compared to most throwing knives as they are a little heavier than most, this allows them to increase the damage in which they can do. The knives are made from tungsten which adds to the weight a bit, originally they would have been around 0.8 pounds in weight but being made of tungsten each knife weighs in at about 1.1lb. The handle of the blades are wrapped in five fifty cord, a lightweight nylon kernmantle rope used by military and civilians, the total amount of knives carried comes out to thirty.
Trench knives: Askeladd does not have true trench knives, though his are combat efficient they were not used in a war or a trench, his were made at his request. The double edge blades are just under seven inches long a piece and made of stainless steel, the guard also serves a weapon similar to brass knuckles but with more force thanks to small spikes adoring each one. At the bottom of the hilt is a spiked tip, this was originally used to crush helmets and as a result can punch through armor in the right hands, with two of these at his disposal Askeladd can be very dangerous in close quarters combat. They are often worn on the right hip together.
Wakizashi: Unlike most Askeladd carries a wakizashi by itself, the blade being fifteen inches long giving it over twice the length of his trench knives. The sheath is made of cherry wood though nothing super expensive as it is a rather light sheath, the blade is made of stainless steel the same as the trench knives, the hilt/handle is made of the same wood though it is much thicker there. An interesting thing about Askeladd's wakizashi is the fact that it double edged rather than having only one edge sharpened, this is often worn on the left hip.
