DESCRIPTION:
→ Standing at six feet and two inches Askeladd would be an imposing just with that alone, but his physique can also add into the intimidation factor as well. Though most find him to be rather different from his actual intimidation factor due to his body, he looks threatening to those who do not know him well or to those he means to kill but to those who know him without seeing him in combat could think of him as cute rather than scary. His body is well toned to the point that he could be compared to rock, with a higher metabolism his body require less training than a human's to become fit though he still does a considerable work out for training himself. His body is usually in the animal form as unlike most chimerae he does not want to use his human form, though he has the same abilities as he does in human form he embraces the animal side of himself. His entire body is covered in fur head to toes with the traditional yellow/orangeish coat with black spots often seen on cheetahs.

His eyes are a dark yellow ringed with a bit of orange and though his eyes are oddly human he still see's like the small big cats would, another interesting feature would be the crop of spiked crimson hair still on his head signaling that in his human form he has crimson hair. A pair of goggles can often be seen on top of his head to protect his eyes when he moves at high speeds, down his arms his hands are topped off by a claw on each fingertip easily ripping flesh from bone if needed. Usually Askeladd will use the weapon on his left hip or the short swords on his right hip as a last resort he will use his claws.

Askeladd's clothing is often less than clothing and more of something to keep people off his back, at the most he wears enough to cover his front and private areas though he only does that because it is common for humans to wear clothing and they expect others. His upper body is often covered but a grey or black tank top and that alone as he hates having heavy or tight clothing on his body, he used to wear nothing over his upper body but he was often told off by those around him because of it. For the lower half of his body he usually wears a pair of custom leather pants, unlike most leather pants they are not tight or clingy to the body as he has cut them so the outside of the pants show off his legs but nothing inappropriate to those around him. He uses a few leather straps to keep the legs from splitting open, he can use these to slide across most things quite nicely as a bonus thanks to the leather's toughness. His hands are also covered in leather gloves though they are fingerless to avoid the bothersome ripping of new gloves, on each side they can be unzipped and pulled off easily.

Another two items that are custom made for Askeladd are one knife bandolier that goes across his chest holding up to five knives, and a throwing knife rig under each armpit allowing him to hold three on each side.

PERSONALITY:
→ An airhead is possibly the best way to describe Akeladd's personality, his usual personality is a rather carefree person the kind that can get along with anyone he needs to get along with. He seems to be the exact opposite of a threat often due to his aloofness, even with his animal form almost constantly active he lower a normal person's guard by using cold readings quite easily. For those with a higher level of intelligence or perhaps just a better sense for danger he takes his time getting to know them and gaining their trust even if it takes a year or three he'll eventually make it happen. Of course this is just his normal personality it often helps him get into places that are usually harder to get into, this personality is often caring to a certain extent as Askeladd will save a person if he is sure saving them won't cause bodily harm to himself.

Another personality that only comes out during times of battle or war is hard to put into a category, those who have seen his aloof carefree attitude often find that this personality should be impossible for him to pull off. When he goes into war/battle mode he kills off everything there is to feel, cold, heat, sadness, happiness, everything just disappears because on the battlefield there is no need for such things. A person he calmly spoke with or laughed with but moments ago could be killed instantly by Askeladd, another odd thing about it is that he feels no animosity towards those he fights. In fact one could say he connects on a deeper level with people through fighting, in a way life and death conveys much more than they ever would through words. He does not relish death or that he must cause it to those who oppose his thoughts or ideals he just knows that certain casualties happen on the battlefield and those that place themselves there are willing to do the same.

While not one of his personalities as it fits into both Askeladd is quite spiritual, not in a religious sense though as most believe in a god or gods his is more centered around treating others how you wish to be treated. He believes that people should be more in touch with nature as well, after a battle if he can he will bury his opponents in the traditional manner of their belief. When he cannot bury their bodies he apologizes and gives thanks to them for returning to the earth, he also does not believe death is to be feared. It is not that he wishes to die he just does not see death as the end as he will return to the earth and be reborn in some way even if it is just a flower where his body once lay. He also has a strict policy of what goes around comes around so he will often avoid any bad karma such as not helping when asked or going under ladders etc etc.

Even as a powerful chimerae that he is Askeladd is rather humble even when in battle mode, if here were to have to kill a normal person who has no chance of killing him he still does not doubt their abilities. Arrogance is one trait that he cannot stand and he often does not associate with those who display it, even those who praise him will often get a humbled reply or a simple thank you rather than having him claim himself to be powerful or amazing he thinks himself to be rather average.

HISTORY:
→ Askeladd's upbringing as a child was really no different from the usual, he grew up in a middle class part of the country, his country being Gelemorte. For most of his life he was a normal child his mother a stay at home wife and his father served in the military, what he did in the military Askeladd never asked because as a kid it did not matter. His father being older served in the battle to take down the uprising of radicals/terrorists when he was younger, no heroic deeds or amazing feats earned him anything he was just one of many as usual. Even in the military his father was still a gentle and loving father/husband, he was a bit hard with Askeladd especially in the standing up for what you believe in area but he still cared for him.

It was not until Askeladd was five that tragedy struck his family, one of the few radicals/terrorists had managed to construct a bomb and brought it to the local market where Askeladd's mother shopped often. The blast killed thirteen others and wounded ten or so more, Askeladd had been at home with his father building a pillow fort in his room when it happened. When the news came Askeladd didn't truly understand what it meant when his father said that his mother was dead, so he always assumed that she would come back. For years he continued to believe that she would come back to them some day, while he waited for her his father became a different man. The once gentle man turned to a cold shell of what he used to be, he did not beat or harm Askeladd in any way he just ignored him for he could not bear to look at him for it reminded him of his dead wife.

Eventually it came to be Askeladd basically living on his own though his father paid for the house he did nothing else, cleaning, making his own food, going to school it was all piled onto Askeladd to do on his own. At first Askeladd tried to get his father's attention but he eventually just got tired of trying and in return ignored his father back. Without his father really giving him any attention he was free to do whatever he wanted and over the years it grew to be a problem, he felt like he could do anything he wanted without worry and that caused him to have quite a few run ins with the authorities. He got off each time as there was little or no evidence to charge him with, he got cocky thinking that he was untouchable, that was until he was stricken with another death.

His father suffered a heart attack and with his age he couldn't survive the attack instead he succumbed to death, with his father gone Askeladd would soon be out on the streets as no one was paying for the house now. Of course he went to live with friends for a little while, but soon enough he would be back on the streets as he did nothing for the living area as he felt a sense of entitlement for everything. Eventually he wound up in the slums having nowhere else to go, he came to find that he had to fight to make even little amounts of money so he could get food. The underground was tough and he found a lot of losses down there in the ring, but he was a quick learner and he could take one hell of a beating so he rose in the ranks of fighters. Once he took the title of champion life became a lot simpler, people did what he wanted and he got all kinds of good things even in the slums but he wanted out of the slums and into something new.

He got his wish soon enough in the form of a woman name Megami, she told him that he was wasting his time here in the slums fighting against people who could never unleash his full potential. Askeladd listened calmly and wondered if this was all real if she really could show him a better place and give him more, he reluctantly agreed and was soon introduced to Project AA. He had no idea what they were doing at first with all the tests on his body checking his speed, strength, endurance, he felt like a lab rat but soon enough found that he was 'compatible' for whatever it was they were doing. Askeladd had minor thoughts of just leaving but he didn't, the choice he made was to stay and let them change him, a blessing or a curse that could only be decided by him.

The change came rather easy to Askeladd who never truly felt normal around other humans before, at first he would change from human to his animal form quite often but within a month's time he shifted completely to his animal form instead. He did work for the project quite often, most of it off the books but eventually he grew tired of being restricted by what they wanted so he left. He was unsure of the consequences of leaving but he honestly didn't care anymore seeing as he had no need to be there anymore. Now as a normal chimerae if that makes sense he wanders around doing an odd job or two whenever he can as he has no real set goal at the moment.

TRIVIA:
→ Being a cheetah Chimerae Askeladd is quite fast, his top speed when recorded during the project was near one hundred and seventy five miles per hour, though that is running as fast as possible the average speed was closer to one hundred and thirty miles per hour.

Askeladd's senses are heightened of course to the point where he can follow a scent trail, listen for a heartbeat within a twenty foot radius, see farther than most but not at an extraordinary level as a hawk or other predatory bird species might be able etc etc.

Askeladd's fighting style is not smooth or trained like most fighters, his training comes from real fights so it is a rough brutal style that holds nothing back, cheap shots such as eye gouging, crotch kicks, even ear ripping is normal for him to use, he doesn't believe in honor on the battlefield he believes in death or life on the battlefield.

Askeladd's reflexes were naturally higher than most even as a human being turned into a chimerae has enhanced those reflexes even more, as a result even those with inhuman speed like himself will find it difficult to strike him directly, and given the nature of his speed it is already difficult to strike him.

Agility/Balance is a trait that he also excels in, with his limber form and speed he can move at irregular angles to confuse enemies or dodge in a manner that one would not expect from him. It also makes him exceedingly hard to catch even if you can match his speed, where a tight situation for another might arise for Askeladd can slip through areas quite easily.

Accuracy is something that could be said to be Askeladd's secret trait, most think of him just as fast and brutal but he has an underlying skill of throwing anything with almost perfect accuracy, his reflexes and quick thinking often allow him to think were the opponent might go and throw his knives rather than throw them directly at the opponent.
