DESCRIPTION:
→ An Asian-descended youth that shows her grace and maturity through her age. At 18, she has grown out her hair again. She has maintained her exotic look to high degree, but as second nature. Her long, natural silver hair is usually draped free on the left side of her face, while on the right she has it in a braided loop, and wearing chinese bangs. Letting it frame her rather already unique visage. Golden spheres from birth are her trade mark. This genetic quirk is a rarity among rares. She has a unique form of Synesthesia, a neurologically based condition in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway. Her's relating to the auditory stimulation resulting in a visual perspective of the sounds she hears, allowing her to pinpoint locations of noise with ease. Her nose is small decorating her face plainly. Petite in size, almost unnoticeable.

Her face as a whole is oval in shape, her forehead covered by her shimmering silver hair. Curving into her eyes, elongating at her cheeks and giving her a strong firm jaw. Even though dimples are present, it does not hinder her ‘tough’ face. Her hair style is medium length, easy to take care of. Her skin color is, one would think, ‘medium’. Not too tanned and not too pale, if there was an average skin tone, it would be hers. Her nails, unlike most women, aren’t long. She doesn’t waste time, trying to keep them groomed. They aren’t grotesque, but room for improvement could be made.

Jial has a rather complex array of tattoos. Starting from her left shoulder all the way down her left arm, and even in the palm of her hand. Her scars aren’t many, since she strives for perfection and swiftness in battle she is rarely left with any. Though there are still blemishes on her body, these are however scattered all along her body and would be pointless to nitpick and tell about all her scars.

Her body, is to almost the highest degree, feminine. Not the most perfect hourglass figure, but she could keep a stare if she wanted. Muscle is developed in their appropriate areas. Her biceps, forearms, abdomen, and legs. Her physique is of an athletic nature, built for stealth, and strong hits while keeping a lady-like air.

Jial's clothing rarely stays the same from season to season, place to place. But for the extreme areas where it is quite warm she opts to embrace her feminine form, and has dared the boundaries of casual wear. Found in a short blue dress that fails to even attempt to hide her hips, coupled blue arm-length gloves, and strapped high-heeled shoes. Her left arm and leg are wrapped in bandages to conceal whatever it is she's hiding behind them.

PERSONALITY:
→ Jial is a rather gentle person in nature, as sensitive as the flower she was named after. Her voice is warm and soft and doesn’t often raise itself above simply talking loud. Caring for all life (except her opponents) she treats everyone with the same respect and kindness. Yet, when someone she holds dear is hurt or injustice is done Jial will step up and take matters into her hands. Highly protective of her family and friends but also her teammates she is a valuable person to have around. For her teammates not only as a medical specialist, but also as a support in battle. She will do whatever necessary to keep those who have a place in her heart from harm.

Jial is much of a daydreamer and can often be found up on the rooftops or high up in the trees, just gazing off into the distance. But yet, her face often expresses a sadness that by many is misplaced with grief or even depression. Sadness Jial has, but it is not something she would likely share with anyone and her sad expression is but a part of her that she cannot let go of.

Although her temperament is gentle and kind in nature, while faced with danger she will reply to it with a coolness comparable to ice. Her eyes harden and become focused, following her opponent like a hawk, never letting go. ‘Nothing will stand in my way and nothing will harm me or others I care about’; such is her standpoint. Jial is patient and can lay in wait for hours, never once letting go of her breath (as a matter of speech). This unwaivering determination is something she gained from her father’s training. As such, she will never back down once she begins something.

DEEPEST SECRET:
→ Jial suffers from Monophobia. It is an acute fear of being alone and having to cope without a specific person, or perhaps any person, in close proximity. This 'closeness' might mean in the same house or flat or even in the same room. As such all she want's to do is be "happy." Often crying when she is alone due to this condition.

IDOL:
→ Specifically, their is no one Jial idolizes. However, she does idolize any person in a relationship, or surrounded by friends.

HISTORY:
→ When Jial was born, her mother died in childbirth, and as such, she was raised by her father, Travir. Her father was a retired soldier, and during his time in service, he picked up quite a few different fighting techniques pertaining to the sword, all of which he combined to create his own style. It was from him that Jial learned her unusual fighting style, and through him that she met her lifelong best friend, G’reth Maiyn. You see, Travir had learned from his time as a soldier that in war, no one was safe, and he took it upon himself to teach the children in his hometown how to defend themselves- something most people would have denied him the ability to do, but he was well respected by his neighbors, and thus, he was allowed to do as he pleased.

So it was that Jial learned to fight, and so did the others around her. Travir was no normal teacher, however. He knew many different fighting styles, and each student was taught a different one. Jial learned his personal style, based on use of a special katana, while the others learned how to wield everything from the hunting bow to the battle axe. This method served a purpose, though it is not evident at first. By practicing against their peers, his students learned to counter many different styles, and their skills and all they had learned were passed onto their families by Travir’s orders.

It was through Travir’s teaching that Jial learned to fight, and through practicing that Jial came to befriend G’reth. They were rivals at first; Jial being a swordswoman and G’reth favoring the battleaxe. By the time they were in their late teens, however, the two had formed a special bond.

In the end, Travir was right in teaching the villagers to fight. A riot broke out that threatened to destroy the town, but the town was ready for them. In a short battle led by Travir himself, the town fought off the bandits with minimal losses. There was an unintended side effect caused by the victory however; the leaders of the Creta now knew about the skilled warriors in the town. Many of them were recruited into the army, mostly as instructors rather than fighters, but they were recruited nonetheless.

Such a life was not for Jial or G’reth, and they avoided the recruiters for months until Travir died in his sleep, the cause simply being age. G’reth had no family himself, he was not even native to the continent, and Jial now had nothing else holding her in Creta. After selling anything of value left in Travir’s home, save his swords, which Jial kept, they departed to explore the world.

Their first destination could roughly be described as “Anywhere but Drachma”. After all, they couldn’t exactly just stay in Creta with the recruiters actively searching for them. It was a few years of traveling that they met Naomi, Clearion, Elisi, and Luke in a bar. The group needed new members, and Luke could not be persuaded to hire more. Seeing that Jial and G’reth were experienced fighters, mostly due to G’reth’s plate mail armor, Naomi decided to recruit them herself.

Naomi struck up a conversation with them, while Elisi placed herself in a dangerous position with a thug through gambling. Elisi then pointed the man toward Naomi, who in turn pointed him to Jial, who, by now, could be mistaken as an acquaintance of Naomi. The man tried to coerce Jial into paying up, only to find himself missing his weapon, and with Jial’s to his throat to boot. The man’s friends did not take kindly to this, and they attacked. Together, Naomi, G’reth, and Jial defeated the thugs, and were chased out of town by the town watch.

It was then that their position was explained to them. By now, they would be wanted men; they had just helped the companions of an exiled nobleman with quite a bounty on his head. In the end, they were forced to remain with the group, having no other choice but to be arrested or killed. The pay was terrible, but then, they hadn’t exactly had a way to make money before anyway. The only real difference was that they had to fight more, and alongside more people.

Thus their adventures continued for many more years, growing closer to their new companions over time. Jial began to fall in love with the quiet Elisi, and she began to fall in love with her as well. However, neither of them even began to suspect their own emotions until, a year after the bar fight that brought them together, Clearion was killed by a Corrupted Soldier and Luke received many injuries.

Elisi began to sneak away from the group to be on her own as much as possible, and it was during one such time that Jial was sent to retrieve water to help bring Luke’s infection born fever down. She happened upon Elisi by the nearest lake, and Elisi began to vent her emotions regarding Clearion’s death on Jial. She took her angered shouts silently, and did her best to comfort her…something that lead to their first kiss. The kiss surprised them both, but they were both happy it had happened.

And so, during their adventures some time later, they decided to date. Not long afterward, Luke’s charges were found to be false, and he returned home, leaving the group to continue their travels on their own, with no clear objective in sight.

However, in transit to Amestris, the ship the group was traveling on fell victim to Esparians. They fought valiantly, but the ship was ransacked nonetheless. Elisi was knocked unconscious during the fight, and Jial dove into the sea to save her, though G’reth had fallen in as well. Clinging to both Elisi and a piece of the mast, Jial eventually washed up on a shore in Aerugo, not knowing that Naomi had saved G’reth and ended up in Creta. Elisi didn’t live through the rapids entering Aerugo and her life was lost. Devastated and believing she was alone, Jial traveled to find new meaning in her life. She had traveled performing menial jobs, until she was introduced to a Xingese family. From these people she learned about Alkahestry. The explained the concept and how this energy is prevalent in all things as well and breathes in rhythm with life forms and nature. So it was she was taught to read the flow of the Dragon's Pulse, thereby becoming not only able to commune with nature and understand her surroundings, but sense the presence and movements of the people and animals around her as well by reading the pulse of life energy within their bodies. She learned the basics of Alkahestry in the craft of healing, but as she traveled she learned of Alchemy and its Runes. She combined these two to create a varied form of Alkahestry in order to be able to freely have access to the Dragon's Pulse. She travels now helping people and searching for a way to bring back those people she loved.

ALCHEMIC/ALKAHESTRIC ABILITY:
→ Izanami • Jial refers to her ability as Izanami or The Goddess of Creation. The process to initiate this particular technique involves employing a form of Alkahestry which specifically heightens her body's own natural healing properties but unlike other forms, which are typically manipulated to strengthen only one's self, under this circumstance the regenerative capabilities are instead projected outwards through the application of the Dragon's Pulse. Despite being noted as a complex concept that few are able to grasp, Jial appears to be a prodigy in regards to her "Cure" as she is not only able to quickly replicate but also implement what she had only experienced recently.

Even though with her excelled capabilities of flexibility, she still focuses on strength and agility, aiming to be an all rounder fighter.

Conscious synesthesia does not exist. You cannot see things you hear. Here is a direct quote from the academic source I listed above: "From 175 case histories (finding synesthetic subjects is difficult which leads to small sample sizes), researcher Sean Day has identified 19 different types. They range from the most common, grapheme-color, and sound-color to the least common (which there are five of and only one case of each) sound-odor, temperature-color, taste-touch, touch-smell, and vision-touch. Other reported cases include colored pain, colored sexual orgasms and colored personalities." So you can use it just make it something plausible please.

2)Forgive me. You were not online for me to relay the sudden changes, and I have not been online in the past couple days neither. So allow me to catch you up. I tailored in a few extra-sentences into my history regaling how she came to learn Alkahestry. Now in regards to the ability itself. Her ability to heal lies in whatever her left hand comes into contact with, then uses the four phases of natural healing just at an accelerated pace. Also, the replicate isn't a pass at harming someone it's just as her understanding of ways to heal others increases so does her methods of doing so as well. So bluntly the ability is "Whatever she touches she can heal"
