Sour Return To Home Empty Sour Return To Home

Post by Rolego Tue Sep 06, 2011 12:52 am

Well isn't this bitter sweet. I did not think I was going to be back here. But...it is the only place I have left.

Spoke Rolego as he went across everything...again to get back here. The only place that he could actually call home. At times he did follow others but he did leave in the end. He did feel like he was not needed and he felt like he was not anyone special. So...this spot was his home...despite what was going to happen. What choice did he have? Creatures came across here and he was able to survive. That is all he could do anyway. He could not simply live anymore. If he did there was no way he was going to survive. So...if he was going to live the rest of life being miserable...he was now ready for it. He had been running away from it. Not being able to accept the fact that he was now what he despised. Now since he can...it was very demoralizing.

He walked across the deserted and cracked frame of the ruins and felt that the barren and dark, gloomy facade fit him. Which did not make him feel any better about where he was now at. he could literally cry about it. But being far past sad and depressed, he could not. That would have done enough. He also knew, that if he did, he would feel alot worse and feel like before. Like another monster tossed aside due to fate. Being in the wrong place at the right time. He knew there were more of him...well like him. Only he could see and understand what it meant to literally walk alone. Knowing this did make him a little darker.

He soon did reach the place he was trying to get to....the small hole in the wall...with no value and no presence since he left. His scent was all over it...nothing else came across it. It was not a surprise however. What creature world come near or enter a place like this with this kind of scent so high and potent. It would turn anything away with a strong enough nose.

Crawling back into the hole and settling back in again...he felt the bitter taste of the return kick in again. But it was far higher this time. He was back into the shadows...like he should be. He gave a small sigh and laid his head down...and closed his eyes. Getting the sleep he needed to survive.

Sour Return To Home Empty Re: Sour Return To Home

The ocean of sand and racks were all that this one felt as she walked across the desert. But also she was growing weak. She was very unprepared for this journey. All She wanted to do was to reach a ruins not to far from where the desert started and the green land ended, but she had gotten lost and went off course. She had pin pointed where she was at. But she was miles away from any help, and she was running low on water and completely out of food. She was at times phasing in and out of consciousness. Then as she walked, she began to feel the sand, that was constantly moving from her hit stone, or something like it.

She took very tentative steps. She could control the crumbled and crumbling stone...so she had to stop moving the sand and she moved around by touch. She did not know where she was. She was used to feeling specific things, and or taking some dirt or sand sample. Nothing here was very familiar. But this also made her feel a little happy on the inside. She began to touch and feel around the walls, trying to find any definite strikes on the walls. If she could trace out a few of the words and or letters, she should be able to find out what this place was and whom it belonged to. But as she was doing this she began to hear some breathing.

It was not loud, but it was fairly close to her. This made her skin crawl a little. She quickly turned around toward the sound of the breathing. Then spoke.

Hello? Who is there?

Rolego was about to break that line between awake and sleep. But he was drawn out of his state cause of both nearing sound and scent. He could easily tell it was another person just cause of the scent. But what he was expecting was a group of people. People have across here alone before but they were men of great size. But when the one who was coming up came into view, he was shocked to see a beautiful girl wearing a blindfold. But she did not look to great. She looked on edge and was on the edge passing out.

Rolego looked as she walked up onto the stone flooring of the ruins and he simply played quiet. She walked up to the ruins pressing her hand along side the walls. At first, she had problems getting around. But she then began to search the walls. Rolego looked at her with a tilted head and as well a level of curiosity. Why was she out here? Summer was just ending and the heat does not change here to much. Rolego was able to take the heat, he did knot why he could either. He had a ton of fur and with a mane to boot.

But as he thought this he saw her movements suddenly change. She then turned 180 to look directly at him. This was also the first time he saw the blindfold on her face. This made his shock go through the roof.

Hello? Who is there?

He could hear the fear in her voice. But this was one of the times he did not feel at all guilty or ashamed of it. She did not know what he was yet. So, he was able to coolly answer back. But as a dog. He gave a calm sad whimper. He did not want to out right talk. He did not know how she would react to another person. So he had to make sure she could be calm around him.

Sour Return To Home Empty Re: Sour Return To Home

Post by Guest Fri Sep 09, 2011 6:01 am

The woman was shaking and looked dead ahead. Hoping she was looking at whomever was watching her. She did not want to get attacked now. She would not have the strength to fight back. Her pants grew to a level of anxiety that when she shook the sand began to swirl. But it dropped the moment she heard a sad whimper of a dog. She also almost fell to her knees. But she wore a very relived smile. She thought the worse was just about to happen. She looked at the ground with her face and tried to regather her senses.

When she looked back up she wore a very kind and motherly smile. She then began to walk toward the dog. She took very small and careful steps. With her hand scanning the ground to find this dog, in which she hoped she did not scare away. She did not know what type of dog it was. But all she knew if that if it wanted to hurt her , it would have got her while her back was turned. But after a few steps she could not help but feel her legs get weaker. They were beginning to grow wobbly and she did trip over herself. A few times actually.

But she was able to either keep herself from falling or reached out and she luckily grabbed something. But she kept walking with that sweet smile. Till it went away as she tripped again. But this was a large fall. She had nothing to grab onto. So she only prepped herself for a hard landing.

Rolego looked with a happy, well happier heart. He was happy that she was feeling at least more comfortable around him. But the scare he put in her was potent enough for her to make her pant harder and also made her almost fall to her knees. Though he really did not do anything, he could not help but feel a little guilty about what he 'did'. But as he saw her rise again. Seeing her face smiling and becoming more vibrant than before, made him feel pretty warm.

But that went from warmth to a state of cold when he saw her begin to to try to find him. He did know she could not see him, and also he knew that she knew he was just a pet., but the feeling of another being coming to him made him freeze a little. He had not really come in contact between anyone and not feel sad and or scared. But as she came he could feel the cold reality that he was going to to touched. But most of that fear went away after he saw her trip over a few times. Seeing that she was able to catch her self, he did not move.

Then she tripped again, but it was out in the open and there was nothing for her to catch to save herself. Rolego easily stood and walked a few steps. He just wanted to stop her from falling. It would be terrible it if he let a women, whom cannot see fall. It would be wrong and totally evil in his books.

Salane fell with her arms out and fell like a fool. She still tried to grab onto something regardless of the possibility. In which was very small. She then braced for impact by gritting her teeth. But landed on very soft fur that rest on a very strong body. At first she did not know what she hit. It could not have been the dog. Dogs do not carry fur like this. Also, a dog does not get to grow to this size. This dog was massive!

After a few moments of her not moving, she finally convinced herself that this creature was what she heard. Not any animal would stay in her path to break her fall. So, she began to pet whatever it was. Not only did she know it was not hostile, she also knew this creature was not what she thought it was. Yes it did have fur and the body of a bigger dog, but the fur and lion like mane she felt did not make sense. but she let the thought rest. She did not want to over think the subject. Just as long as she could be around it, and at least feel comfortable, she wont judge.

Hmm...you are strange. I wish i could open my eyes to see you. You are very unique. I never in my life across something like you.

She spoke with a very quiet and kind tone. As well as touched the creatures face and felt its paws. Trying to gather as much information as possible about this creature. She was actually more excited than nervous. Whatever this creature is was something she had never seen and felt before, and she was trying to learn as much as she could. Forgetting that she was starving and low on water. The loud growl in her stomach and the pain it also had, made her remember. She gave a somewhat painful grin.

I am sorry. I had not eaten lately.

Her body was telling a louder story. She was shaking and hurting. Her head was hot, not from the heat but from a headache she had gotten from not eating. She knew what to do, but she did not have the things in order to do it. The only thing she now had was her last drops of water. Which cannot do anything for her by this point.

Rolego felt her fall on him. To him she was alight as a feather. She did fall with enough force to make him think she hurt herself. But after a moment of not speaking he could tell she was fine. He did, however see the look she had on her face. It was a look of confusion and little shock, in which he could understand. He did not speak to her and her spoke and acted like he was a canine. But since now she was touching him, it is not a surprise that she is somewhat confused about what he is.

Hmm...you are strange. I wish i could open my eyes to see you. You are very unique. I never in my life across something like you.

Rolego then stood as still as a brick. She was then beginning to touch and feel what he was. He knew why she did but it made him very uncomfortable. She was beautiful and she was a very kind person. Something he thought he was not going to come across again. The more he tried to find out what he was. The comfortable he became. She touched his face, his paws, his chest, even going back to feel his fur. He then found himself cracking a small calm smile. But all of that changed when he saw her grimace in pain and as well wrapped her arms around her stomach. he was immediately on his feet and looked at her a worried eye as she looked back up at him with a pain carried smile.

I am sorry. I had not eaten lately.

This was not good. She was in the middle of the desert, and after looking at what she had, she was in no way shape or form to be out here to begin with. But Rolego did not panic. He did know where to go from here. Though this place was a desert, there was a few places where mater laid with animals living there. If he could get her to any of these places, she would be able to survive.

He coolly moved to her side and pressed his nose under her left arm. Trying to get her arm of his head. but upon standing he had forgotten how much bigger he actually was. She was just about a foot taller than he.

Salane could hear the claws of the creature suddenly rise. But then padded to her left and felt the massive head go right under her arm. This, to her was interesting. This dog was reacting in a way that others would do. But it there was something else that reached her mind. It felt that, well, the dog knew exactly what was going on by what she had said. But again, she dropped the subject. She then made herself wrap her arm around this massive head. But then as it began to rise. She felt herself almost standing.

She with a strange look on her face brought her face to face the dog. She again felt the creature, but to try to measure how big this guy really was. The higher she rose, the more shock was beginning to etch on her face. Two feet was already high for her, but when she reached three she felt her heart skip. Then when four ft came she felt the top of the dogs head, or what she felt was to be a dog head. She after a few moments stood there in surprise. But then a smile of amazement went across her face. She was almost completely speechless.

She at times was about to say some words but they just feel short of her lips. Him being a chimera never came across her mind. She was touch that most if not all are dangerous, and was to be kept away from at all times. So what were the possibly of what she was touching was a chimera?

So witch her calm and sweet smile she held onto its fur. Then waited. If what she thought before was true, this one should move before she. The ruins she was at did not really ring any bells. She was really relying on it.

When he felt her wrap her arm around his head, Rolego began to stand slowly, making sure he did not over power her and she did not lose her grip. But as he rose he could look to see that their was another look of surprise. His math was right, he was just only a foot shorter than she was. Barley.

But then he felt and saw her lower herself and to feel him. But from the base of the base of paw, all the way up his leg, his chest, neck, then the top on his ears. Which were now were erect. Rolego gave her a strange look as she did this. She was in pain and sick. She needed to get to a safer spot, but all of her attention was mainly on him. He tilted his head as she sat with her hand on the top of his head. With a very shocked face. But then a sweet and amazed smile was on her face. Rolego could only smile back.

She then finally gripped onto his fur. Like she was waiting for him to lead. So with a slow step he began to move. He kept his strides small and slow. He did not want to start dragging her to the destination. Which was a very small but still living oasis. Where both few animal's do live as well as edible plants. Some even able to help with her head and stomach. Anything by this point would do for her.

Salane was caught off guard as the dog began to move. She felt the muscles move before she could react. So she was somewhat jerked forward. But she compensated by leaning on the creature so that her head was just off of its back. But when she did this she could not feel a bit curious on where they were going. She knew very little since she was not arching the sands in any way to tell where she was going.

They were in the desert, but if this creature was able to find a spot out here that was to her unlikely but possible, that is where she and it should be going. She felt the sand through her shoes. It was so hot that the heat was beginning to make her skin feel like it was smoking. Her hair, by now, was not in any way shape or form. Before it would shade her eyes and neck from the sun. But now, the heat was doing alot of damage.

She walked with him for about thirty minutes. Then she was almost out. She could feel her slowly begin to fall asleep. But as she was about to close her eyes, a very calm rustle of somewhat fertile grass filled her ear. Then she began to feel the coolness of shade, and the coolness of grass on her shins. Then finally, sounds of water.

She then felt the dog stop. She froze with it. She then raised her hand, and made the sands move so that she could feel where she was. But soon after that she went right to the water and began to drink. As well as refilling her canteen. She did not drink alot, but she was satisfied. Then relaxed a little by the water...placing her bare feet in them trying to cool down and to gain her strength back.

Rolego walked for thirty minutes with this woman. Seeing that every second was wearing her down to the point that she was pretty much laying herself on him. He had to carry her pretty much to where he was going. Which was not to bad, but it did make him worry about her condition. She was hotter than the sun was. She also had a sickly blush on her face. He quickened his pace and soon after he did he saw the green he was looking for.

He could feel her begin to come around as soon as he was in the shade and the coolness of the grass was there against her skin. Then stopped near the edge of the water. lowering her down slowly. He then watched as she raised her hand. He did not understand at first. but then he saw bits of dirt begin to rise and flow in many directions. which actually did give Rolego a small chill. He thought you needed a circle to do that.

He watched with a shocked eye she then stood and easily moved to the water and began to drink. Then moved away...with a rather strange look of confusion and surprise. But he did have a reason this time. As he walked through the brush he found little plants called poppies. Small, but the seeds can make ones pain go away. no matter what the pain is. He did not know why, but this what he was taught in the military. Then a little ways away he saw these large stalks, about 2 feet long and about half a foot in girth. he used to chew on these when the water bed dried up. but also this did help with his stomach issues. So he took both a stalk, and a few poppies. then returned.

He then nuzzled her back with his nose. Feeling her shiver a bit cause his nose was cold.

Salane was beginning to feel so much better. The water she drank both cooled her off and as well calmed her head. She was deprived of food however and the pain was still very there. She sat on her knees with her arms cutely wrapped around her stomach tightening her grip the moment she felt her gut growl as well as clenching her teeth. But they were short lived. The pain never really lasted long to harm her to much.

She then felt a sudden sharp cold spot on her back which made her spine chill and her flesh shiver. But she knew whom it was before she turned she gave a sweet smile as she did. She then brought her hand up to rub the top of the ones head but felt something in its mouth. She began to feel around its muzzle and by the scent and the weight. Also its shape, it was some sort of stem. It was very cool to the touch, and it was comfortable to press up against her face cause it kept her a little cooler than before. But, she did not know why she was given this.

As she thought she felt something else in the canines mouth, and by its smell, she could tell that they were poppies. So she took them from its mouth and with her fingers popped out the seeds right into her mouth. Then took the Stalk and began to figure its purpose.

She had eaten thing like this before. but since she cannot see it it made it difficult for her to figure out what kind it was. She could taste it but even that could harm her in some way. But what other choice did she have? So slowly and nervously, remembering what to feel, she took a small bite out of it. Not only was it not bad for her, it tasted very sweet and it made her growling almost stop like it was waiting for more. So she pretty much tore into it like she had never eaten anything in her life. Finishing it very quickly.

After she felt her stomach begin to regulate a calm. She faced the direction of her companion. It does understand what she was saying. She then sat up and patted her thighs. Calling to it.

Rolego watched with a calm look as she looked at him with that smile. He could almost melt at the look, but kept his eyes away for a moment as she took the stalk. He was not watching what she was doing cause he knew that he would probably stare. He knew that she could not see him doing it, but he had his morals. If he would not like it, neither would she.

He then felt his muzzle being touched again and let the poppies out of his mouth. She took the seeds and ate them. Exactly how one was supposed to eat them. He then watched as she again took the stalk and went over it very carefully. In which he could understand there were many here that were bad for you. Though not poisonous, they do make your body have pain and also can mess with ones mind. But the one Rolego go was fine. He was sure of it.

He then watched her slowly take her first bite, then watched as she tore into like a watermelon. His ears dropped a but as he watched her go though it so fast, it actually made him act a bit more nervous as she gave her sigh and looked at him with her smile. But then he watched her sit up...then pat her thighs. He knew exactly what she meant...but was hesitant.

He whined a small whine at first but his tail was wagging alot. He never did do this before, but it was so natural it did not bother him as much. But after a few moments, he finally slowly went to her and laid down. His head on her thighs. Shaking a little bit.

She waited for him to come. She knew it had to at some point. It knew what she said like it was another person. It gave her food and water. It also caught her from hurting herself. It was either this dog was highly intelligent or it was some sort of guardian angel of some sort. She heard its whines and gave a short giggle at the dog. But soon she felt him move to her. Then felt its head resting on her thigh.

With a wide but sweet smile, she began to pet and run her fingers thought his fur and lion like mane. It was incredibly soft, and as she brought her hand across it the fur flicked like a flame. Though she could not see what she was touching, it would not matter even if she did. She could tell that he was afraid of her, and also that it had walked alone for some time. She could feel its nervous shakes as he laid on her lap.

Her face though wearing a smile had a hint of sadness. She then raised her head up and looked through the few high trees...and began to sing. Her tone rang through the trees and it was a sweet as honey. She sang no words, but she only ahed. When she was nearing the end she wrapped her arms around the thick neck of the creature. Who by now was doing something that shocked her.

Rolego laid there on her lap as she began to pet him and felt her begin to pet him. Every touch and every scratch made him tense and relax. He could not simply relax, she did not know what she was touching at all. She also did not know what he was and what thing that made who he is. How can someone be happy when this is present in their life. He looked up to her face to see a small streak of sadness on her face. Making him feel a little bad. He did not want her felling this way. While laying his head back down, he saw that her shadow was looking up then a very beautiful tone ran through the sands. She was singing.

It was something else. Not only had he not heard anyone sing like this before, but no one never sang to him since his mother. This is when he finally began to calm. He found so much comfort in her sing and could honestly fall asleep on her lap. As she was nearing the end of her song, he felt her begin to wrap her arms around his neck. He was just about to stand and avoid it, but two things prevented him from doing so. He could not move without harming her. If he were to stand he would have hit her face. But also, when he was held he froze. It was strange, he was being cared for.

He was beginning to cry. It was not audible, but the tears were big enough to fall from his face. He also shook more than before. Any kind of affection towards him was a little heart wrenching. Cause he knew she would probably leave when she was strong enough to do so. He wanted this person to stay, but, if she did, she would have to see who he was. That alone could make her change her mind. He was shattered and broken in one to many ways. He was scared.

Salane could only wonder on why he was beginning to act more fearful. She began to pet him more and more not knowing what was troubling him. But as she began to move her head and hands to his face she felt his eyes, just running with water and tears. Her hair moved as she noticed he was actually crying. But, dogs, dont do that right? She then began to think more about what he was. She only knew of two creatures of this world that could cry, elephants, and humans.

She did not want to think more of it. But as she began to shush him and tried to calm him, all she could think about. The more she thought and the more she began to refit the image in her mind, the more she began to out line what she was holding. But as soon as she finished with the mane, she knew what she was holding in her arms. She could not believe what she was now holding actually. She was taught that these creatures were to be extinguished, and that they were dangerous. But to make sure she was right, she placed her cheek on the top of its head. Then held tight.

You are a chimera. aren't you?

She then felt the creature freeze almost as if he was going to be in trouble. But this also made him shiver alot more afterward. She could not believe it. But also, for some reason this one did not make her fear him. This made her want to stay. She then made her grip tighter, and almost cried with him. Shushing and trying to calm him.

Rolego kept his sounds of his true feelings locked away. But the tears he could not suppress. He was extremely saddened by the fact that he was probably going to be alone again. Even with her shushing and trying to calm him it did nothing but hurt more. He was not going to hear her voice anymore after she leaves. Then he felt her place her face in his head and felt her hands on her face feeling his tears as the continued to fall. Then felt her grip of her hold strengthen. She then said something that made his heart stop.

You are a chimera. aren't you?

He froze again. But shortly after he began to shake like a rag doll. But also this made him go a little bit on the defensive. He saw what she did with the sands, he saw she could control them with ease. Who knew what she could do when she wanted to fight or attack him. HE tensed his body for what he did not want. He did not want to fight this women. But he did want to continue living.

As he waited for her to do something. He felt his heart just fill with sorrow. As well as his body went into a form of limp. He was not going to harm her. His morals stood in his way. So if he was going to be hurt, he was ready for it.

But felt what he was not thinking of getting. He felt her grip close even more and her words were unchanged. Nothing about her changed. Almost like she did not care. Rolego continued his crying but this time he whined like a puppy. Trying to make sure he did not speak or yell. Knowing that if he did, he would have to speak. Something he was never comfortable like this. But as soon as he calmed, he could not help but smile at himself. He never cried. But doing so did make himself feel alot lighter. Like all of his troubles just, left. Being happy for once...it was as warm as warm could get.

Sour Return To Home Empty Re: Sour Return To Home

Salane felt him tense and his cries stopped. She could understand. Where she was from anyone that was like this was either chased away, or killed. She and her father both knew that there was still a soul in every one. He is a prime example of it. She was expecting him to all of a sudden run, but it did the exact opposite. He went limp and wailed like a newborn pup. She could only smile down at him, remembering that she did not know its name.

She began to pet and hug him till he stopped. Even after he did she continued, the fur it had was great to pet and to be against.

She lifted her head from the mane and soon began to hum. It helped her calm her mind as well as the one she is caring for. She knew what was needed to be done. She had walked alone herself for too long, maybe it was time to finally find someone she could hold onto as she walked. She knew this one would not leave her all of a sudden. So she opened her mouth and spoke.

You know, if you would let me. I will stay. I too have walked alone for a long time.

She gave a small chuckle. Though she knew he could here her and understand her completely, it was still very odd to her to speak to a chimera. It made her smile.

Sour Return To Home Empty Re: Sour Return To Home

Rolego was soon becoming to grow attached to this girl. For many reasons that could not be explained. It came to a point that even if she did leave, his days alone wont be so hollow and empty. He felt actually happy for the first time in a very long time with another person. He was only fearful of the future before, but this time he did not care. her was prepared for it. With his bottled up fears gone, he felt like he could take on the world.

His ears simply stood on end as he began to here her hum again. Listen to her melodic tune. It was almost thought soft and sweet, it was at times very over whelming. His mind was like a recorder. Remembering every note and her expression when she did it. She smiled like she was a angel and all he could do is lay there and look at her. In which he was fine with. it was not like he could do anymore.

He laid his head back down on her lap and her petting him still. He gave a small sigh, not giving a care in the world.

You know, if you would let me. I will stay. I too have walked alone for a long time.

Rolego felt his whole head just implode.

What?

He looked right in her face. Knowing she could not see him gladly accepting, he did the next best thing so that she would know. He moved and sat behind her.His head sitting on hers. Smiling a very large and proud smile. He could not help but feel, well, free. He felt his his spirit go very high and set their. There was no way it was going to go any lower.

Salane felt him all of a sudden move out of her grasp. Which gave her the very opposite feeling of what he felt. She gave a small sigh as she heard him begin to pad past her. Feeling nothing but a little sad. She wanted to be with him. But, maybe he thought it would be best to stay separate. She did not think that way though. She did not want him walking alone and neither did she. Walking alone and not talking, it really kills ones moral. Especially hers. She could not stand another day actually.

She did not hear him anymore and it made her feel very alone. She had fun with him. She actually would call him a friend she never knew. But it was not that big of a surprise. It was not even two hours. But to her the two of them got along very well. With a sigh, she tried to fall back. but felt something lay on top of her head

She then felt around and as she did and the longer she did a very great smile appeared on her face. She then patted his cheek and gave a small laugh.

Thank you. By the way, My name is Salane. I dont know your name, So I will call you....

She stopped to think for a moment. What would she call him? She had many names, but one to fit one who had one prior, will be difficult. So She simply said one. What ever it was, she as going to stick to it.

Drake. I will call you Drake

She said with a small chime in her voice. She was excited. She finally had another chance, with now another who walked alone for a long time like she. She then sat up with her back now all on him and played with his fur. Just smiling like a child with a new toy.

Sour Return To Home Empty Re: Sour Return To Home

Rolego looked down as he saw her touching the ground as she tried to feel for his paws. As soon as she did a great smile branched across her face and it only made him smile a bit bigger. He did not know what was causing his sudden uplift of his spirits, but whatever the reason he was as happy as one could get. He looked up and also saw that the day was nearing the end. But the reason this was so important, was for the first time, he felt happy and ended the day on a great note. Something that he was somewhat trained not to feel nor see ever again. He looked down again and gazed at her through pure compassion, actually feeling this toward someone. It felt great.

Thank you. By the way, My name is Salane. I dont know your name, So I will call you....

He looked down with a very hoping eye. Reason being he did not want to have a name that will embarrassed him to no end. But, as he thought of it, he soon did not care. He was called worse thing in the past. Monster, murderer, outcast, thing, it and many more. What ever name she chose, he will go by that name. Just hearing it will make every better. At least he would have someone to call him whenever she needed it. So he looked ahead. Waiting for his new calling name.

Drake. I will call you Drake.

He gave a small rub to her head as she said it. To him it fit him perfectly, and it made him feel so much better to know his name was his name to her. Well, till he spoke. Which riddled his mind. What possibilities were there if he did speak? He has seen chimera before who could, but, none of them looked like he. He was only a mere animal in the world.

His mind raced long enough and hard enough to make his mind hurt and go into a daze. Like he was confused by a enormous algorithm. But soon he placed his mind to rest. He had time, he always did. It may not be now, but later will prove more fruitful. Hopefully.

Sour Return To Home Empty Re: Sour Return To Home

Salane gave a silent giggle when she felt her head get rubbed. Obviously he liked it. Drake....this was going to be a very pleasant ride. She was looking forward to this trip with him. After walking alone blind for all of this time it felt great to actually feel and know someone was not going to leave her side. She missed her family alot, but even she knew that she did not want to go back. It was not like anyone was really waiting for her. Her dad was the only one, maybe...but now seeing that she ran away. Maybe not. Knowing this made her heart shrink and sink a little. Feeling like she had no home to return to, but the more she felt the presence of Drake, the more at home she was.

She beginning to feel the shill of the now nearing night snuggled up into Rolego's chest and brought her head into the mane. She could literally feel nothing but pure warmth over her and gave a a relaxing sigh. She could easily fall asleep, in which she was planning to do. After a few moments of simple breathing. She was soon, beginning...to fall asleep with a small smile on her face. Though her eyes were not open to the world, it was easy to tell how happy she really was. With no cloud of worry, she slept, with Drake looking above, with a smile on his face.
