BRIEFING:
The Transmutation Circle itself is about the size of Asriel's palm, it was drawn with black ink. He has one on each hand, it starts off with an outer-most circle that has another circle inside of it. There is a diamond that touches the first circle with it's corners. Inside of the second circle is a square that touches it with it's corners as well. This simple structure is capable of moving the ground itself... If Asriel wanted to create a hole under his enemy he would separate the dirt under his opponents feet, causing them to fall in and then move the dirt back into the hole to suffocate or crush his opponent... So far Asriel is only capable of moving dirt that is around twenty feet away and he is unable to seperate dirt from water so mud or rain would render his ability practically useless.

To be able to use this ability the Alchemist must know his limitations, if he tries to bury a building he may very well kill himself trying to do so unless of course he possesses the capabilities to do so... As for the requirements of knowledge the Alchemist must at least understand the many different elements inside of dirt such as Oxygen, Carbon, Nitrogen, Hydrogen, Calcium, Potassium, Sodium, Silica, H2O and more. If you don't know what something is made of then how can you possibly understand how to manipulate it?

SPECIAL ABILITIES:

Sinkhole- Asriel possesses an interesting ability to manipulate the very Earth beneath his feet to move the ground beneath his opponents feet to leave them trapped in a hole. By manipulating the particles and atoms within the ground itself he is able to perform this simple Alchemic Ability. So far he is only able to extend his ability to around 20 feet give or take. Also, since he is able to create 'trap-holes' with his ability he is easily capable of filling them back of which could be used to either suffocate or crush his opponents... Quite deadly if the target can't climb fast enough to escape. This ability is rendered useless when it is raining or when he is inside a building.
