BRIEFING:
→ The array for purification takes the appearance of a basic pentagram star, commonly used in alkahestry, surrounded by a circle. It is engraved into his flesh in the center of his chest. The symbol of the pentagram, in Raistlin's alkahestry, represents the human body, the five points being the limbs and head, the center being the body. The purification process requires a quick bout of concentration when used on someone in order to comprehend the body, organs, and cellular structure and the abnormalities that must be purified. This requires very little concentration when using it on himself.

Contortion, the array tattooed onto Raistlin's right palm, takes the form of another pentagram, this one being upside down and surrounded by two circles, spaced about a centimeter or less apart. In between the smaller and larger circle, are five small symbols. In this array, the body of the array covers carbon, the basic building block of life, and the five smaller symbols in the gap between the encircled circle, are ancient symbol for hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, potassium, and sulfur. A very, very thorough understanding of human anatomy is need to efficiently use this ability, as well as the particular quirks and attributes of the subject in question. This can be easily achieved, with the given background in applied medicine in alkahestry, through using the simple process of analyzing the matter that is to be transmuted through alchemical means, a skill common to most alchemists and alkahestrists alike.

Destruction is akin to Contortion, and basically uses and slightly modified version of the circle for Contortion. Destruction is much simpler and quicker than Contortion, because only a very superficial knowledge of cellular based life is even needed. One must simply have a graps of the organic matter he is destroying, and basically rapidly wear the cells out, halting all of their functions entirely, basically killing them, killing organic matter.

SPECIAL ABILITIES:
→ To be concise, Raistlin's Alchemy is based around the principle of cell modification and purification.

Purification: For his Level 1 Alchemy, Raistlin can modify cells in the body. This makes him able to destroy all impurities in the cells, making him immune from diseases and poison. This is an Alkahestric circle, one that is carved into his chest – and is a passive ability, but can be used actively on other people, given a circle is drawn onto the subject

Contortion: For his Level 2 Alchemy, Raistlin can modify cells once more, but this time involves the rearrangement and reconstruction of cellular structures and tissue. The immediate application of this is being able to disfigure others, or close small superficial wounds, or even replace missing organic tissue in his body with another person's, (given that the tissue is still living) or vice versa. Due to the properties of this Alchemy, he is unable to use it properly in battle – but other applications give it possible uses as a battle modifier.

Destruction: His second level two ability involves pure destruction of cells. This ability is centered and focussed on touch – it cannot affect the area without being able to come in contact with it.
