DESCRIPTION:
→ Vanessa is of tall build with lean muscle, perfectly adapted to running. Human and feline anatomy is blended perfectly, making good use of the cheetah's broad chest and large heart with a human's anatomy to make a perfect running machine, able to sprint quickly yet also run for extended periods of time. The number of felines used in the experiment had an adverse effect on the appearance of the subject. She is quite tall for a female human and has sustained feline characteristics. Though generally human in build and perfectly capable of biped movement, the subject appears to prefer quadruped movement for long periods or at extreme speeds. She has also maintained a beastly muzzle with a broad nose and feline eyes. Perhaps these are needed to increase oxygen flow. Other feline characteristics include both ears and tail of the cats used in the experiment, as well as fur covering most of her body. A careless mistake caused the subject to gain rare mutations, including both converged spots in the "king cheetah" style, and a rare coloring titled Maltese, causing the base color to turn out gray and the spots black. Nose and paw leather is gray. Eye color is a deep burnt orange. The subject is capable of human speech, but often mixes it with feline communication.

PERSONALITY:
→ Nessa has a temper like a caged lion. If anyone insults her she's very likely to insult them back and then punch them in the face. With her strong body, it's a good idea not to get on her bad side. Just one wrong word could have you being the next meal. And she will resort to cannibalism. After all, meat is meat. Perhaps worse than the pain she can inflict, however, is the deep soul-searching glare she can give from her burnt orange eyes. Those haunting eyes in their field of ash are enough to send shivers down most peoples' backs.

Of course, if one should happen to befriend Nessa, they couldn't have a better ally. She is one you want on your side of the fight. Plus she'll let you get away with more insults, and she'll only punch you in the arm! Not to mention that it can be quite comical to see the chimera pummeling some guy for stepping on her tail(which she hates, by the way).

Nessa doesn't let her killer instincts go to waste, either. Aside from beating up random people that piss her off, she has made a nice career for herself as a bounty hunter. Her speed and power make her perfect for assassinations, and even though she stands out in a crowd, her dark fur is perfectly suited for creeping through the shadows on a recon mission. Plus, it passes the time between meals. The only thing is, she doesn't exactly need money, Nessa is perfectly capable of living in the countryside with nothing. She doesn't actually say that when accepting jobs, though. She likes some nice clothes, and the money she gets goes into buying her next outfit when her current one gets too ragged. Plus she occasionally needs certain tools for her job. So then, if monetary value doesn't determine if she takes the job, what does? That would be interest. If the job sounds fun, she'll take it. It also doesn't hurt if there's a bit of a challenge.

HISTORY:
→ As a child of about five years, Vanessa Hughes ran away from home. No particular reason, she just wanted to run away. She wandered around town, getting free handouts because she was so darned cute. But that couldn't last forever, and the pig-headed child refused to return home, even when her picture was put on the back of the milk cartons that she stole from people's doorsteps. Instead she continued stealing, becoming a regular nuisance around the town she had run to. Mostly she stole from grocers, but one day she went to an old house that looked cool and abandoned. The police had surrounded her normal hideout and she needed somewhere to lay low until they forgot about her.

Unfortunately, the house wasn't abandoned. In it there were many cages, some with regular animals, though exotic, that made a terrible noise whenever she got near. In the other room were more cages, with fantastic creatures that looked to cool to be true. And in the corner, looking up from putting one of the creatures in a cage, was a man. He smiled and beckoned Nessa over to him, showing him his latest creation. It was a little boy with a snake's scales all over his body. The girl thought he was beautiful, and looked at the man with desire in her eyes. She wanted to be like the boy, and the old man couldn't refuse. What Nessa didn't know was that the old man was doing experiments on children, trying to make the perfect human hybrid. He put Nessa and nine cheetahs in the transmutation circle and began his experiment. The result was a perfect mix of human and feline, with a few odd occurrences. The alchemist noted that two rare mutations had occurred during his experiment, and wondered if it was the result of using too many animals in the experiment. He didn't get time to check, however, as Nessa ran away before he could put her in the cage.

After this all the child found herself eating was raw meat, but never got sick. In fact, she even began hunting rats in the alleys of the town. After a few years she grew and bloomed into a beautiful young lady. Nessa moved from the town out into the countryside and began hunting larger game. Eventually she found her way to Central, where she met a man who taught her about the sport of free running. She was perfectly adapted to it, and soon she was running around town using all kinds of obstacles as vaults and sidewalks. Unfortunately, it turns out that of you slide over a moving car, the person driving it tends to slam on the brakes. This also happens to cause a huge traffic jam that the police can arrest you for causing. And if you're a chimera and you do something that the police can arrest you for, they turn you over to the military's scientists. This happened to Nessa. Well, almost happened. While en route, a man broke into the truck, offering to get Nessa out. He only had one condition; Nessa had to do a job for him. The girl agreed, to learn that she had to destroy the research of some laboratory.

This she did with flying colors, even though she accidentally blew up the entire lab. In fact, the man who hired her payed her extra just for that. This began her career as a bounty hunter. It was on another bounty, an assassination, when she nearly lost her life. It was a powerful business man who had lots of bodyguards. Nessa was able to kill the guy, but his guards still shot her. They missed anything vital, the bullet nicked her stomach. Nessa still put up a fight, taking down two of the guards before they beat her down. Half conscious, Nessa lay on the ground waiting for the darkness, when the guards realized that they probably weren't going to get paid for letting their guy get killed. They threw Nessa's body in the street, for her to wake up and stumble off. She managed to crawl to an abandoned warehouse, but it took a week for her to recover. Nessa's employers were surprised when she broke down their door demanding payment. They had been sitting high, thinking they had gotten rid of their competition without having to pay. They had thought she was dead when they learned that her bounty was dead and she didn't come back.

Wow, really creative and interesting! I'm extremely intrigued~

1. Deepest Secret: "Nessa was created with nine lives, but she's lost one. This is the purpose of the transmutation circle on her stomach. Every time she loses a life she literally dies, and it is very painful. If one could study the transmutation circle they would notice that it changes whenever she dies, becoming paler until, on her last life, it will be non-existent. Losing a life is not a pleasant experience, and takes about a week to fully recover." -- Really cool idea, but unfortunately I can't approve it. This forum is really realistic and since Cheetahs don't actually have nine lives, neither can Nessa. Still, awesome idea, but please take it out~
2. History: "It was a little boy with large brown and red wings." -- This is also one of the things we don't approve of because if a human fused with a bird, the wings would still be the same size as the bird's. So... the wings would be tiny things on a human.
3. History: "This also happens to cause a huge traffic jam that the police can arrest you for causing." -- Yes, they can arrest you...if you're human. I believe the police would handle the situation differently when faced with a chimera.
4. History: "It was on another bounty, an assassination, when she lost her first life." -- Same as #1
5. Trivia: it's Aerugese not Aerugonian, and Cretan not Cretian -- also, these aren't all the languages, just all the major ones.
