Getting out of there...

Getting out of there...
"Aiyah..." Hild sighed, speaking the ONE foreign word she knew. She was wondering where her brother was at this point in time - she hoped that she wasn't being stalked by him, she wanted her own space. Her brother needed to understand that she wasn't a child, and everything that she did was because she wanted her own space. He didn't really understand any of that, so she was teaching him by going out on her own.
She wasn't stupid, of course - she carried Heaven on her, and was more than ready to defend herself if necessary. She may have been a weak, timid girl, but she was also the Fuhrer of this country, and she knew exactly what to do in a fight. Unless she came up against an Alchemist, she'd be fine. She sighed, and stepped further along the path, watching everyone's faces. Paranoia. Not something she needed, nor that she desired, but she was prepared to live with until the end of this warring. As long as she understood that nobody was out to get her, she would be fine... But she always thought that she was a target.
Creta's peace negotiations had worked - they were allied with Amestris now - all a part of Aurel's 'big plan', of course. That plan of his... was it going to work, or would it fail? She sighed again - it was a bit of a bother, having a brother who wanted world peace through world war. But again, she lived with it. All the bother of being the country's leader was nothing compared to the bother of having a suicidal maniac for a brother. She giggled to herself, and suddenly heard quickening footsteps coming up behind her. Her eyes narrowed, and she turned quickly, straight at the... guy... who... was... hurrying... to kiss his girlfriend. Ah. She sighed, and put a hand to her chest.
Enough was enough. Paranoia was nothing compared to this. She needed to get over herself, and make friends! Dammit, it was so horrible when your only two friends were your brother and the leader of the Underworld...
"Can't somebody entertain meeee?" Her voice, no matter how soft it was, was rather loud in the quiet street, and everybody just turned and looked. No, stared.

Re: Getting out of there...
L hadn't been in Amestris for that long, and to his knowledge, he barely knew anything of the Fuhrer. If he had a single guess who the Fuhrer would be, it would probably be a male similar to the previous ones.
When he woke up this morning, something ached inside of him. Something told him today would be an interesting day. 'Bout time' he thought to himself as he went on with his morning. He ate, took a shower, and put on proper clothing. That meant jeans, a white v-neck, and a black leather jacket. He storms down the stairs in a hurry, attempting to wake up every single person in his apartment complex. The day was bright, as the sun shines high in the sky. He stood, near the doorway and took a couple inhales of air. In and out, in and out his chest rose with deep breaths.
"Ah, what a glorious day!" He cackles to himself before turning down the back alleyway. In the midst of the shadow, a reviving on a engine could be heard. From the darkness stormed a sleek metallic motorcycle. It raced onto the street, zipping and gliding through the traffic with ease. L always enjoyed riding the motorcycle because it gave him something else to concentrate on rather than life itself.
During his freedom ride, he caught a glimpse of a young girl that looked rather out of place on the side walk. Something about her caught his eye, but he didn't know why. In his mind she seems to be just like every other girl from afar, but when he turns his bike in her direction and drives over towards her, he catches hold of her eye-patch. "Interesting..." He mumbles under his breath before finding a spot to park. That was always easy for motorcyclist, so it didn't take long. He hops off his bike and takes a few moments to shake his hair around with his hands before heading in her general direction. L made it just in time to hear her request about entertainment.
"Heh, I don't think you should of said that..." He grins as he approaches the young girl. His eyes were soft, unlike his firm lips that creased around his crooked smile. L stares into her eyes, longing for some of the same desires as the hers. "If you mean what you just said, then come on." He nods in the direction of his motorcycle, before taking a couple of steps backward, never loosing eye contact with her.

Re: Getting out of there...
The young woman inhaled deeply, sitting up straight as her hands raised high above her head with a faint squeak as her shoulders both let out a soft pop. Oh, that was much better, even if the little noise had earned her an odd look from the older gentleman that passed by her. Shula hardly cared at the moment, she finally had a day off, and even though her phone was on her, she had half a mind not to answer if it was work. She did enough work at work, and then did more work at home, and then if she was feeling really adventurous, she might just do more work. Shula really did love her job, but Central HQ was so much larger and busier than the one in South City. The transfer alone had been more than a hassle, and Shula was fairly certain that the last person who held her position in that office was either allergic to paperwork or had only existed as a cardboard cutout person and propped up at the desk to give the appearance of someone working.
But today... TODAY, she was off! No uniform, I.D. and watch in her coat pocket and out of sight and she was practically skipping down the street as she looked at everything to help her memorize the layout. Central City was gigantic, but at least it was walkable, a fact she greatly appreciated. The silky, sky-blue fabric of her layered skirt swished as she walked past another shop, glancing in the window at the clothes on the mannequins. The clothes suited the city and were a sharp contrast to her colourful ensemble, the bright blue of her long, layered skirt, flouncy white fabric of her blouse, and the deep sunset red of the wool of her unbuttoned coat. The shop clothes were finely tailored, like the ones her father made, but they were all so.... serious. These were serious, dangerous times and it was fraying everybody's nerves. All the more reason to wear clothes that were bright and remind people about the joy and beauty in life.
Shula walked along, looking all over and then down to the bulky bag of supplies in the crook of her arm. She grinned playfully, giddy at the fact that she was able to find a shop on this busy street that she was able to buy her wicking in large bundles and heavy coils of kevlar rope and thread to replace what she'd burnt up and have plenty more for months if she used it right. She paused in the window of a bakery as she heard another woman lament about her incurable boredom. "There is a free concert in the park this afternoon, if you are so inclined," Shula said warmly, still looking over the assortment of sweets and rolls. She turned away from the very tempting window and let out a soft, startled cry as he collided with a young man who was walking backward a few steps, her kevlar and wicking spilling onto the cement.
"Ai! I'm sorry about that! I wasn't even looking..." Bright blue plumed out like a flower as she knelt to regather her things.

Re: Getting out of there...
People! Hild's heart fluttered slightly, and she smiled softly at the two people who were now approaching her, a male, and a female. Looking at the man first, she bemusedly studied his features; leather jacket, jeans, dark hair, all-round aura of 'attractiveness' or at least, 'someone who thought he was attractive'. She sighed softly, gripping Heaven especially tight. Somehow, he had an aura around him that she didn't trust. He beckoned for her to join him on the motorcycle, and before she could say anything, a woman's voice broke the silence.
"There is a free concert in the park this afternoon, if you are so inclined,"
Hild smiled softly at the woman, thinking that it would be a GREAT idea, when she managed to walk herself... right... into... the other man. Hild Schwarz sighed, and laughed. That wasn't something you saw every day! She tilted her head to the side, and finally spoke.
"Well, why don't we all go then?" Her gaze went towards the mysterious man. She didn't trust him. But maybe she could learn to. If she wanted to make new friends, that was. Hild looked in the direction of the park. It wasn't far, only a minute's or so walking, so that was of some use to her. She giggled, and motioned for the other two to follow.
"C'mon! We need to find good seats!" She shouted as she started to walk towards the park...

L felt the bump of the random girl against his side, and it threw off his balance a bit. He stumbles back before regaining his posture. His eyes broke from the young lady with the eye patch, and dart to the other woman. She was pretty, for the most part. Plus the young girl seemed to be a bit embarrassed. Charming. He thought with a snicker on his lips. "Heh, I suppose. It happens to everyone." He says before allowing her to finish what she had to say. He then proceeds to brush off his leather jacket before looking back at the woman whose his main focus was on.
It had seem this was going to be a party of three this afternoon. Was it bad, no. Was it what he wanted, no. Was it going to be entertaining, hell yes! Edward L Miller stops from approaching his bike, and takes a moment to decide whether or not he wanted to go to a concert. After about a moment of eye rolling, he sighs and begins walking a few steps behind the girl with the patch. The other, well, he didn't care if she came or not. As he walks, he pulls out a pack of cigarettes and quickly lights one up. The smoke inhales deeply into his lungs before exhaling into the world.
"So, I guess let's be formal. What are ya'lls names?" L suggested before catching a strange man walking past. That man seemed so familiar, but for now, L just ignored it and kept walking to the park. This concert better be good!

Within moments, the bundles of kevlar, thread and rope were all put back into the bag, and Shula smiled with a faint blush as she stood back up. The man seemed annoyed by her, almost, but at least the other woman laughed. And if you can't laugh at yourself... Shula reminded herself, adjusting her goods. Having apparently decided on how best to be entertained, the woman with the eye patch began to walk off, heading toward the park. "C'mon! We need to find good seats!" Shula quickly trotted after her and the man, her quick steps tapping along the cement rapidly until she was on Hild's open side.
"The band is really something," Shula chirped. "I saw them play a few times in South City and at the sheep festival down south. They're really good! They're Niveus Corax.... Ever heard of them?" One of her favourite bands playing in Central City had been a lucky find, and just what she'd needed to feel more relaxed about, well, everything. And as long as she wasn't mistaken for a truant student she was free to enjoy her afternoon however she pleased.
"So, I guess let's be formal. What are ya'lls names?"
Warm mahogany-red eyes blinked, glancing over to L and Hild, smiling warmly. "I'm Shula! And you both?"

Re: Getting out of there...
The girl turned around and bent over, smiling brightly at the sources of the questions. She tilted her head to the side, and closed her remaining eye with a small giggle. She stood up straight and held a hand up in front of her face, finger pointing in the air.
"I am Hild Schwarz, the Fuh-" She stopped herself before she could say any more. That was dangerous information, stuff that she didn't want to tell those she'd just met. They might be against Amestris, or, worse still, assassins ready to kill her when they found out her true identity. The very thought of that caused her to shudder and close her mouth on that part of herself. She smiled at Shula and nodded.
"Shula... Shula... Shu Shu Shu... Shula! Don't you work for Spade?" She blinked and tapped her chin carefully, only just noticing what she'd said. Crap. She'd given away another clue! She sighed, and turned away in slight shame. She was never any good at keeping secrets from people, especially people that she'd only just met. Aurel was easy to keep secrets from, well, easier than most. She sighed softly, and yawned, continuing to walk towards the park.

Re: Getting out of there...
The odd man out, L, continues to walk down the side walk. Barely noticing the fact that Hild had almost added something to the end of her name. So, this other girl was Shula. In the midst of peeing this morning, he couldn't help but hearing something on the TV in the background of a new girl joining the ranks, someone by the name of Shula. "Ha!" L say's out loud to himself, because he saw humor that he was now walking with the person who was announced on TV. He continues to inhale and exhale the smoke greatly, staring off into space most of the time. If they weren't going to ask his name, he wasn't going to say anything.
As the three walk to the park, L couldn't help but notice people staring out the window at his group. It did bother him, but he didn't care enough to say anything about it. The park was just around the corner, and it wouldn't be long until he sat through another concert.
"Niveus Corax? I can't say I have, but I'm sure they're like any other band trying to hit it 'big'." L mutters to himself before finishing off his cigarette. He quickly disposes of the bud, and shovels his hands into his pockets. "Let's just hope there is something to drink."

Re: Getting out of there...
When Lieutenant Colonel Branford had told Shula she was being transferred to the headquarters in Central City to make "better use of her skills," she had been fairly certain that nobody would notice. Surely they had hundreds of soldiers coming and going all the time, especially with having to get them closer to the front lines right now. From what she'd been told, Central was chaotic and backed up with work, and they had been right. The office she'd been shoved into looked like nothing but tall stacks of papers and loose files that all needed to be tended to, as though they'd been so busy with the insurgences and policing and pushing their enemies back that nobody had been able to tend to that. Things were so busy that even though she'd been mentioned in the roster of recent transfers the day before on the morning announcements, Shula hardly thought anything of it as she'd only breezed through the tour, gotten to wave at her new coworkers and new C/O and then had been shoved nose-deep into the mountains of personnel files and papers.
Her eyes lit up when Hild mentioned Spade and blinked. "Yes, that's me! I don't recognize you from my office, though... Do you work in a different department, Hild?" She turned the corner, passing by another wide cafe window as the park came into sight, a small number of people starting to accumulate in front of the small stage. She loved small concerts like this.. there were people, sometimes mosh pits, local vendors from restaurants sometimes, radio stations if they were bigger... Niveus Corvax concerts were usually pretty small since they weren't famous, but their fans were dedicated, and blending archaic instruments and costumes with metal and beautiful lyrics gave them something wonderfully unique.
Shula glanced over to L as he puffed away at his cigarette. He'd been so quiet, and seemed so lost in thought. She smiled up at him. "It's nice to meet you, too. What's your name?"

"A different department?" The girl put a finger up to her mouth curiously, and thought it over for a second. "I suppose that you could say that... I certainly do work in the Central HQ." She smiled at the girl with a bright pair of closed eyes and a soft giggle, before continuing on to walk. The other man... interesting. Had an aura of misguidedness around him. Eh. Didn't bother her. The girl shrugged, and set off to the park. As they reached the park, Hild's eye simply filled with wonder at what she could see. It was all so amazing...
She looked left, right, left again... It didn't stop! It was all amazing! It was beautiful... She was falling in love with this sort of community already! If only Aurel could... She held her hands to her chest and sighed softly, breath coming out in a wisp of steam. If only Aurel was here... She looked back up sharply, and walked towards the gathering crowd. People were beginning to gather in front of a stage, so she assumed that was where they were gonna play!
So, this was how the other half lived? It seemed so much better than how she lived... But she still enjoyed the high life as Fuhrer, it kept her entertained... And it meant that she had a hand in the cookie jar of World Peace. Something that she dreamed of daily.

Re: Getting out of there...
Edward Miller takes a quick glimpse back at the bright eyed, overly joyed, central worker who was joining him today. She seemed interested in his name, but being L, he couldn't just reveal that to anyone. He shrugs his shoulders casually, before plainly stating 'L' for his name. "All you need to know is I go by L, personal reasons I guess..."
The park was filled with people, all full of life and spirit. Honestly, deep down inside, L wasn't such a punk. He found entertainment in the little things, and was happy with the decision of leaving the Creta military and reside here instead. The three continue walking towards the front of the concert area. They had a bit of a struggle to get to the front of the stage. However, L was determined to give Hild a good time. So he pushes his way through while tugging Shula and Hild along for the ride. It wasn't long until they were straight in the middle of the musical event.
"heh, I hope this works for you all. It's the closes I could actually get without getting on the stage..." He mumbles underneath his breath before swooping the hair away from his eyes.

Re: Getting out of there...
"...L?" Just a letter? Well, she guessed that was a nickname for something, but it would have been impolite to have asked for more personal details. She didn't know either of them, but maybe, just maybe, she'd get lucky. She'd had a few close friends at South HQ for the three years she worked there, and she honestly hoped that not everyone in Central City were like the men she'd run into on her first day here. Maybe she'd get lucky and start making some friends and distract herself from how much bigger the world was than she'd initially anticipated. She squeaked as she and Hild were pulled through the crowd to right in front of the stage, the petite soldier's heart speeding up giddily.
"We're... at the front! L... Thank you!" Shula looked around at the thickening throng of people, standing in front of the stage to her faveourite small, traveling band, with new friends.... Oh, this day just got BETTER!
"It really is great to meet you both... So Hild, you work at Central, too.. What do you do for a living, L?"

"L." Seemed so familiar. For some reason, that name had popped up on her paperwork at some point in time, but she couldn't remember why for the life for her. She sighed, and shook that thought out of her head, instead focusing on working her way through to the front of the crows. Yes, she had her reason for calling them crows.
As she moved through them, she suddenly found herself right in front of the stage, and, with a blink, smiled a large smile. Suddenly she was asked, well told, that she worked at Central. She turned back to Shula and nodded with a stern look in her eye.
"Well, of course! I am your Fuhrer, after all." Suddenly, her stern look turned to a look of shock and she covered her mouth with two hands, staring at the pair and shaking her head.
Nonononono! That was the LAST thing she wanted to do! Why did she have to tell them... She just wanted to have some fun, and letting them know that she was, in fact, their notorious leader wouldn't help her case, right? Well, she just screwed that one up. She lowered her head, and sighed.
"Sorry... I guess I should've said something earlier..." The tapping of a microphone and the sounds of the crowd dying down caused her to turn back towards the stage, wonder in her eye. They were starting! No time for formalities now... She just wanted some fun!!!

Re: Getting out of there...
The rush of the crowd was intense. People were screaming and chanting while they waited for the band to take center stage. The lighting was dim, as the managers arrange the lights for the concert in just a few moments. It was strange, standing here at a concert with two people he knew very little about. As Shula continues to nag him for more information, he was battling whether or not to say anything at all regarding his job.
"Well, I own my own business. I work with those that are, 'less fortunate' with their life decision." It was a way of answering the question without telling her that he was actually a bounty hunter. Just when he thought about continuing explaining, the other girl spoke something of complete shock.
The crowd went silent in his mind. All around were completely blocked out, and it was just him and her for a brief moment. She. was. the. Fuhrer. He tries his best to hold back his facial reaction, because of how shocking the news came to him. Was she lying? Chances were there, but for some reason he felt she was telling the truth. This whole time, he was strutting freely with the Fuhrer. Things were beginning to line up perfectly. No wonder people were staring out the windows of their cars, they knew who she was! His hands went numb and began to shake, but Edward quickly regains control of his body.
"Well, yeah I probably wouldn't of come in the first place then..." L admitted instantly. Nothing against the girl, but he couldn't be spotted with the Fuhrer. The bounty hunter takes a couple of steps backwards, attempting to leave the concert immediately.

Re: Getting out of there...
For the second time in a week, Shula honestly looked as though she'd just sat on a tack. She had been out walking and casually chatting with the Fuhrer. THE Fuhrer? Like, the same one that ran the whole country? Shula was speechless and honestly felt more than a little foolish. In the few days she'd been at Central HQ, she'd been up to the third floor plenty of times, knew very well where the Fuhrer's office was, and she'd probably watched the news that had a reels or photos of the Fuhrer in it but she'd never really paid attention to her face before... The petite girl was genuinely dumbfounded and felt rather silly.
Was she still allowed to address her as Hild since she'd been introduced as such, or if she needed to speak to her the way she was supposed to? A tiny light went off in the back of Shula's mind, and a small, playful smile spread across her face. Ohhhh my God.... Aaron is NEVER going to believe that I accompanied the Fuhrer to a folk metal concert! "If that's truly the case, then it's an honour to be here with you!" Her gaze moved to L as he began to step backward into the crowd as the emcee took the microphone to announce the band and welcome them to Central City. She wasn't sure why he was leaving, and was even less sure if she should ignore her natural urge to hold out her hand to him and silently ask him to stay. She was about to ask him if he would stay when the crowd started screaming enthusiastically, most of the dedicated fans throwing their fists into the air, cheering and howling, her soft words eaten by the screaming crowd.

Re: Getting out of there...
Hild's first reaction was to grab the back of the man's jacket with her trident and attempt to pull him back.
"Stay. I think you should stay." She nodded a couple of times, and then turned to Shula, who looked like she'd just seen a ghost, despite her dark skin. She giggled, and tilted her head to the side. Really, so formal!
"To answer any questions you may have, I won't hold anything you say against you, and you don't need to be that formal. Really, Hild will do." She giggled, and nodded. With another sigh, she suddenly heard the music starting. She smiled, and turned to the sound with a large grin crossing her face. These people were so brutal... It was amazing to her. Everything was so different to how she'd been raised... And when the music began to play... She loved it.
It was amazing. She'd been raised on classical music all her life, and this new experience wasn't just fascinating her, it entranced her. The music style... was so new to her, so foreign, that she just couldn't resist it! The guitar playing, everything! She just stood there in wonderment.
I think that I'm going to enjoy metal... The Fuhrer giggled lightly.

Re: Getting out of there...
Even as L withdrew into the crowds, Shula couldn't help but loop over and over in her brain that she really was out at her favourite band's concert with the Fuhrer. She was honestly ecstatic about that fact, even though she knew it was probably best not to tell anyone; Hild hadn't come with anyone, so if she'd meant for other people from work to know, she'd have probably come with her own escort. It was kind of funny, though, when she thought about it; she'd never honestly stopped to think about what kind of person the Fuhrer really was. It was just a large, shiny title of someone very, very important who ran their nation and helped keep all of the citizens from being decimated by someone else. She'd never really wondered what kind of music such an important person listened to, or where they liked to shop, or really anything personal about them. Did everyone do that? Just detach important politicians and military personnel from real, personal lives to make it easier to think or not think about them?
Shula smiled brightly at the Fuhrer. "Then... I'm very, very glad you could join me today, Hild. Watching this band you're in for a real treat!" The drummer beat against the various drums in the kit mercilessly as a bagpipe wailed the same melody as the lead guitar. Shula joined most of that mosh-pit crowd and throw one fist into the air as high as she could, joining them in their cheers, calls and dog-like howls as the lead singer gripped around his microphone, his long, black leather coat moving around his lean legs. Shula let out a tiny, fangirlish squeal. "Isn't he the cutest?
The singer opened his mouth amidst the roar of the crowd and cacophony of mixed-century instruments. Though forcing his voice out in places, it wasn't grating at all or screaming, warm and smooth like a midnight treat you aren't supposed to have.
"Bishop, Pope and his priests
Taler, Gold und Schätze raffen Coins, gold and treasures gather
Prahlerische Reden schwingen Boastful speeches swing
und das Pater Noster singen and sing the Pater Noster...

"If you say so..." In Hild's opinion, Aurel was far cuter than that guy... But, hey. She'd let Shula have her fangirlish fun... She smiled brightly, taking in the music as it played, and before long, had found herself in the mosh pit beside Shula, with stares from everybody around her. Yeah, they knew who she was... and she didn't care.
It was all too much fun!!! She couldn't handle it anymore... And her body moved with the music, flowed with the crowd, and she was lost in the whole day... Until the end, Hild Schwarz was loving every minute of the concert. And once it had ended, she wanted more. Mooooore! She was one of the first over to the CD kiosk, and picked out one for herself... And looked back at Shula.
"I'm assuming you have a copy of this one, Shula?" She giggled lightly, and paid for the CD, she'd pay for one for Shula if she didn't have it already. Pity that it was over... But she'd made a new friend in the process! Maybe today was a good day for her after all... She should introduce Aurel to this music... A sly smile appeared on her face.

Re: Getting out of there...
Ohhh that was FUN. Shula had honestly been worried about hating being transferred to Central, and apart from the little disaster on her first solo jaunting a few days ago, it actually seemed to just be getting better and better. It was a shame that boy scampered off as soon as Hild had said what she did for a living, but that was his choice, and boy did he miss out! Shula had folded the paper sack shut and put it tightly between her ankles, loving how close she was to the stage as the music reverberated and ripped through her. It had been quite a while since she'd gotten to go to a concert, and this was just what she'd needed, and as Shula glanced at the Fuhrer dancing beside her, she'd concluded that it was just what Hild had needed, too.
As the crowds dispersed, Shula gathered up her bag of supplies and dashed after Hild to the kiosk, looking at the CD's. Damn, their new one wasn't out yet. Posters, shirts, ooh, a pin! She looked over the playful cartoonish drawing of Death playing a scythe-shaped electric guitar. Shula nodded at Hild, pulling out the few sen she needed. "I have all three, but the new one is supposed to be out by summer! A few of the songs they played tonight will be on it."
The afternoon light was fading into watercolour hues, and Shula took a deep, satisfied breath and looked around, soaking in what would be a lovely memory before she looked back to Hild. "It's still pretty early... Are you hungry at all, Hild? I know the best place for a good snack around here."

Re: Getting out of there...
Hild's kind smile just grew. She loved this girl! She'd never really had any female companionship before, and this just made her heart soar. She loved making friends, even if Aurel was a little more than a bit suspicious of any of them. But that was just who he was, and she loved him for that. With her smile going back to it's smaller, timid size once more, she tilted her head to the side. A cafe? Uhh... Hild checked the time on the watch on her wrist. Crap. No time anymore. She sighed softly, and looked up at Shula again.
"I'm sorry, I can't. I have a meeting that I need to get to, some military junk. Another time, maybe?" She smiled brightly with her one eye, and prepared to turn away. A half a second later, Hild turned back and gave Shula a friendly hug.
"See ya. Another time." She giggled lightly, poking her tongue out at the other Militant from behind a grin. Good times, good times. She walked off into the distance of Central, stares of amazement showing up at both her and Shula. Oh, that girl would be popular for a while. Hild just hoped it was the right kind of popular.
Ah, well. Back to work. Off we go... Her footsteps were light on the ground as she walked cheerfully. Aurel... probably shouldn't know about this, she thought, looking down at the CD that was now in her possession. 150 Cenz well spent, in her opinion.

Re: Getting out of there...
The eatery was only down another block, but in the other direction. Shula had found it quite by good fortune, and was very glad she did; they served Ishvallan home-cooking. Wasn't five stars or anything, but it did smell like home, and that was good enough for her. But alas! Hild had to go? Shula's smile never dropped; even if Hild had to go, being with someone had made the afternoon wonderful. It was a shame that boy had ducked out... Someone like Hild wasn't a person people should miss out on.
Shula let out a bright squeak as Hild hugged her and returned the gesture warmly, ignoring the funny looks from the people around them. What did they know? Surely the Fuhrer was allowed to have friends. "It's alright! It must be pretty busy keeping everything running... But! Once I have it under control, come by my office sometime! I usually have something sweet around." She waved as Hild began her walk back to where she needed to be and slowly turned to head back to her own townhouse. Her grandfather would probably be worried, especially since she didn't bring her pills with her. Oh well, as long as she took them before bed...
I hope we can be good friends, Shula thought enthusiastically, turning the corner to stop at the tiny cafe, standing at the window line. Would be nice to have someone else to talk to around here... She dug out a few Cenz, handing them to the man at the window. "Ben bir shawarma istiyorum." Humming the last song from the show, she waited as he handed her the wrapped pocket sandwich, the happy girl not wasting any time to dive into it as she finished her walk home.
This would certainly make work interesting.
