Everybody was Kung-Fu Fighing! He-ya! (Sonia and Rook only)
Rook had decided to hang out at Briggs for the week. Get some Mountain air in his lungs and learn first hand how dangerous Frostbite could be. He wanted to learn also, how fortified this so-called impenetrable Fortress really was.
While there, he came across two obvious conclusions. Well, obvious to a local that is. The first, was that Briggs was Briggs is F**** Freezing! And he wished that now, he had thought a head and brought a second wool coat. The second, was that almost half of the people here spoke Drachman. Even though he was Fluent in Drachman, Rook still wished that he didn't have to. The language was too strong for his tongue.
He walked over to a small clearing, and pulled out a torch. Most of the time, he used this for getting around at night. But the Thermal Heat produced made an excellent campfire. He pulled out a bag of marshmallows that were labeled the best for smore's. Instead though, all he did was shove a few in his mouth. He then popped in a few chocolates pieces to make it complete.

Sonai stood with his nose to the air trying to find something to do. He was out in his skimpy clothes and yet, still found a way to be warm. He then smelled fire, well more accurately he smelled the burning of a flame. The oxygen being eaten by the flame he didn't think, but acted. His silent movements were enough to make even a dead corpse like being not catch the sound.
His movement started to become more rapid, however still silent. His left hand clenched the saya just below the tsuba as he got with in arms length of the clearing. Stopping, he noted the male, or what looked like a male, by a fire and eating. It was a perfect time to test the might of the Amestrian military, how did he know it was the military? Well, no one else was aloud to be near here. He twitched his hand slightly before he darted out of the trees towards the male. His body nimble, movements elegant, and all as silent as night.
He got with in arm's length and grabbed hold of his tsuka with his right hand. The left holding the saya near his side and he let loose. He aimed a strike for his mid back, just enough to cause a scar and a tiny bit of blood, nothing more. He stood there, as the only thing heard was the sword sheathing with a *click*.
Was it magic? was it paranormal? no, it was semi fast reflexes and strong training. He smiled the same smile he always had, with his eyes closed and a soft show of hospitality. He was a truly odd man. He came to wonder what it was that gave him such power. Was it the will to be like his father? was it the will to be strong? Or was it the thought to be like that incredible man, that incredibly odd odd man, father.
What ever it was, he was doing alright for himself. He had an Empire, he was well liked by the masses, and his skills with the sword are unsurpassed by elite xingeneese, except for nobles of course. Even this militant would have a hard time against his blade, but would he against his alchemy? perhaps, perhaps not...

Rook almost chocked on his marshmallow when he felt the cut. He leaped over and grabbed his Torch. He had to make sure it didn't break and s spread its flames. He turned it off and tossed aside his pack. He looked over to his attacker and saw the sword in his hand.
He pulled out his Alchemy gloves, and luckily enough, the wound on his back was within his reach. He back was always his weakness, as it was hardest to reach and apply his Alchemy to. After a second of closing the wound, he immediately moved into his combat stance: Back stance with one arm held overhead and the other folded over his torso.
Judging by his attacker's attire, he figured that he was Xingese, but he didn't know any Xingese. It was too complicated for him to study, and he had given up during his lessons. He decided to use the next best approach and simply capture the man. Handing over a Xingese attacker would certainly boost his status, not that he cared.
He leaped over in a Side-step manner and immediately went into a Rising Hook Kick. The Hook Kick wasn't intended to actually deal any damage if he was any good. He intent was to get him down low where he would have it easiest to tackle. Of course, there was the possibility that his enemy would back-step, so to counter that, he would barrage with several Side-Kicks, following his opponent and keeping him in front by switching to Roundhouse- and Side-Kicks whenever he Side-stepped.

Sonai looked at the man and when he healed the wound he became interested. it was indeed going to be interesting if his opponent could heal himself. Sonai judged by the fact that the man had to touch his wound for it to heal, that the gloves on his hands were the alchemic inducer he used.
With in a moment the man darted towards him. it was indeed going to be interesting as he had to fight in the snow. What good was snow? It was just semi solidified water. That was the key. With in moments he had flipped over the man and landed behind him, the blade in his right hand facing towards the right, his right knee bent with his foot planted firmly on the ground. His left foot stretched towards his left and his saya laying on the ground with his left hand on the snow.
A short flash of red lightning and the snow in the small vicinity was gone, about 3 feet in diameter. With that, he touched the ground with both hands, his sword placed on the ground. After that moment, a flash of red and blue mixed lightning had ensued. Shortly after that, the ground in front of Sonai had birthed a rock spear. He picked it up, as well as the katana while kicking the saya out of reach. From there he turned himself around, still crouched, and aimed to pierce the spear into the man's right shoulder, as he did that, the structure of the spear had changed slightly and the tip became sharp with spikes jutting out almost all over the spear. it would tear apart his shirt if he dodged, or if he didn't, it would pierce the skin and possibly, the bone, that was, unless he could escape the three foot spikes in time.
With the other hand, he forced the katana into the ground and stood up in a hand stand, this was so that he could do another move if this man did happen to dodge the three foot spikes and the spear head. Needless to say the Density of it was reformed to a normal spear's weight as well as size, but left the ground slightly unstable, which Sonai had planned for. Would this battle be over before it started? or would this man prove to be more of a challenge that he thought. For now, Sonai would play to see what this man had for powers.

Rook realized his opponent was two things. The first thing he realized about him as that he very agile. The second thing, was that he was a weapon specialist. His opponent was very skilled, being able to wield a spear with one arm, though the spear was made out of stone.
Rook figured he wouldn't have enough time to take the attack head on and heal before his opponent attacked again. He, being a martial artist, needed to get in close to deal any damage. So to cancel the advantage of the spear, he did the one thing you shouldn't do if you're inexperienced. He charged forward, letting the extrusions cut into his arm and shoulder, ignoring the bleeding and closed in the distance.
He broke through the earth along the pole with his steel-padded fist, ignoring the added spikes. Then, with his opposite arm, he twisted his body and prepared to elbow his opponent straight along the neck. If his opponent dodged his strike, he would bring his hand back around and grabbing the Xingese man's jugular.

Sonai watched his hand burst through the spear and knew right away there was only one thing that could do that, and was easily accessible at the time, steel. with his next movements he pinpointed a perfect spot, his elbow. It was comprised of many materials as well as bone. That in its self was comprised of may materials. A steel plated fist was nothing to Sonai's alchemy.
With a movement, so quick, he didged the attack to see a fist running towards him. He put his hand forth and the fist landed on his hand, but to the man's surprise it wouldn't hurt Sonai as bad as he wanted, for a flash of blue and red lightning would ensue and cause the metal to form spikes that would tear apart the glove as well as pierce his hand.
The spikes would start from the side that hit Sonai, and the spikes would shoot through the hand and tear apart the circle used to do his alchemy on that hand, that was the easy part, the next part was harder. With that, he took his right arm and placed it on the mans side. With a short flash of red lightning the side of the man would have ripped open. The hole would be from just under his ribs to just above his leg joint. it was a size able hole that would need repairing. And also, it was doomed to be somewhat lethal, or at least make him pass out, where he would give him medical attention from Briggs that would transport him to a hospital, and he would be healed with no worries. Would this happen? it was bound to, but it's not set n stone, it would be interesting to have the man think his way out of the predicament to befall him.

Rook held his ground despite the serious wound to his side. The were good and bad things happening through this battle. Bad:He was losing. Good:He was having Fun. Bad:He lost one of his Alchemist Gloves. Good: His opponent failed to destroy the second glove. Bad:He had a huge hole in his side. Good:He only needs one hand to heal the wound.
He decided to skip thinking strategy, as that gave little time to actually attack him. Instead, he decided to focus his main efforts on healing the gapping hole in his side. With one hand, it would take him about 60 seconds. He ignored the bleeding coming from his injured hand, the cold was freezing the blood and closing the wounds, so he didn't have to worry about Anemia.
He had come across times when his opponent had seen through his healing and destroyed one of his gloves, or when he got attacked and only had enough time to put on one of them. To keep his Alchemy safe, he had invented a Technique that only required one hand: The Cyclops Hammer.
He continued to pound on his opponent wherever he got the chance. The Cyclops Hammer Technique is a consecutive barrage of elbows and punches brought out with a single arm. The attack is never ending and has hundreds of variation, making dodging very hard because he still has a free hand for incase they ever move around him. The attacks could vary from a rising uppercut-dropping elbow combo, to a back elbow-crossing elbow combo to many other surprises.
After buying himself plenty of time with him strikes, he had managed to heal his wound to the point that he had closed it and stopped the bleeding. In less than half the time anticipated. Then, he pulled out a medic's favorite tool: A scalpel. This had been made from high-tempered steel, making it as hard as a dagger, but much easier to conceal.
He then resumed his attack, this time keeping his good arm guarding to protect him from attacks, while continuing with the Cyclops Hammer attack, only this time, he would make precise cuts along exposed veins, aiming for an artery. Seeing as his opponent was getting serious, he figured he might as well.
