DESCRIPTION:
→ Befitting his place in the public eye; Rook is a relatively attractive slender yet well built young male, whose distinctive characteristics have enthralled the hearts of many females from a diverse range of ages. These appealing features comprise of a pale and smooth complexion, accentuated by thick locks of smooth white hair, typically roughly arranged in a wave style but occasionally pulled and combed back in a greaser style.

He typically wears an elitist style of clothing, ranging from a full white suit worn by doctors to a thick black-on-black tux. When not in his Elitist's clothing, he wears a simple white dress shirt, a tie with a leaf pattern, brown suspenders with a black pattern and lining, white dress pants, and black leather shoes. All of this cloth are an Italian brand.

Rook is a very tall and slim, yet muscular man with arched brows and a close-shaved goatee. His right hand has a liquid burn mark making his right hand look darker than the rest of his body.

PERSONALITY:
→ By his own admission; Rook is a selfish and narcissistic individual who tends to prejudicially look down upon others that he meets, despite being rather simple minded in regards to the area of common sense himself. Even with all the immense privileges presented to him in light of his profession, Rook still asserts that his current life style is insufficient and tedious.

This resulted in the development of an unhealthy infatuation for danger and destruction. This meant that unlike the majority of others that were confronted with the atrocity War, Rook didn't become nervous at the explanation but rather found the sparkle in his eyes rekindle as he experienced it.

Easily as arrogant as his young peers Rook is prone to act in an ostentatious manner and appears to act mostly out of self-interest rather than any sort of philanthropy. Rook is expertly manipulative and prone to think several steps ahead of those around him, giving him a remarkable talent for making people act exactly as he wishes despite appearing not to have had a hand in their decisions.

Rook is as much a philosopher as he is an Aristocrat. A gentleman artist through and through, he considers his life to be a blank canvas and most end up living with only a few dashes of paint ever touching it. He wants to be able to soak his canvass in blood and present his work as the greatest artist in the world.

Rook's twisted psyche manifests not so much outwardly as in his personal philosophies. Not so much immoral as amoral, he stands as an inquisitive, apathetic observer most of the time, assessing people and situations while throwing out morality and the concept of grey areas as contaminating factors. Driven by such mindsets as "survival of the fittest" and "to the victor go the spoils", Rook takes great pleasure in determining whether the will and/or strength of one person or party is capable of overpowering those of another and genuinely respects people of strong will and unshakable conviction, but cares little to nothing for human lives that are affected or even lost as a consequence of the conflicts that arise. Even his own life is accountable to his warped ideals and he is only too glad to put his existence on the line.

HISTORY:
→ Rook was born into a very rich family, but was never happy. Even though he had everything needed to be happy, he constantly snuck out and hung out in Downtown areas. He would watch fights erupt, or, sometimes even start them. He would insult, hit on women, throw the first punch, anything, just so long that he got to brawl before the night was done. This ended up with him coming home everyday with bruises.

One day, he went missing for a whole week, worrying his parents to death. They finally found his body, laid down in a Dumpster down an alley. His body was so badly beaten that they had to call a State Alchemist to help. The Alchemist was called the Cure Alchemist, famous for his Brand of Bio-Alchemy. Within two hours, Rook’s body was fully healed and ready to resume fighting.

Rook pleaded with his parents to ask the Alchemist to teach him. Worried that their son might only be asking for more fighting power, they made him swear not to use Alchemy to harm people: He lied of course. After the Cure Alchemist had left, it took them a while to track him down again. They even had to pull a few Solids with other families to get a lock on his general location.

After they found him, the Cure Alchemist told them that he would only teach Rook if they had him stay with him. There, Rook spent his days as an apprentice, working as a servant to the Cure Alchemist who taught him his trade. Over time, Rook soaked up everything he needed to learn and was dismissed by the Alchemist.

A few years later, Rook discovered that he had abandoned his title of State Alchemist just after Rook’s apprenticeship had ended.

After he learned that, Rook sent his days traveling the land, hoping to test the fruits of his training. Along his way, he met a few other Alchemists, but none of them were good enough and he had defeated each of them. He got a job at a hospital and began using his skills to save lives. He didn't do this though out of the good of his heart. He did this to make a living.

One day, he refused to treat a man's wife because he didn't have the money to afford the surgery. She died one month later due to lack of treatment. Later, Rook got attacked by the man and was kidnapped. When he came to, he found a large wound in his Stomach and side. The man stood over him and laughed, saying that he should died without any attempt to save his life, just like his wife. Rook only smiled and healed the wound using his Alchemy. He told the man that humans are weak because they can't learn to do anything by themselves.

He told the man that he would kill himself before he begged for someone else to save his life. The man, never even seeing Alchemy performed before, thought Rook was an Angel. Rook only laughed and said that he should call him God, not an Angel.

When the man ran off, he told the towns folk who all gathered to worship him. But when they got to the building, he was gone. Rook had decided that Humanity had misused his Godly gifts and decided to no longer use his skills to save Humanity.

→ I created this guy to become Father’s Successor. I wanted someone who could create chimeras and show the dark side of Bio-Alchemy. I planned to create a guy who, on first appearance has the ability to save humanity, actually has the ability to be the Bane of Humanity.
