DESCRIPTION:
→ Yeon-hwa in physical appearance holds light orange to redish hair. The hair, when loose falls down just between her shoulder blades, over her shoulders and partially covering her blue frosted eyes. When kept in, she coils her hair once and fastens it up with a hair clip. She has a rather slender and petite body frame. though maturity is clearly visible on her chest area.

On her attire she wears the standard military uniform of Fort briggs and keeps her hair tied up. To warm her ears she wears a fur beanie, long silky blue scarf and a thick fur coat. She keeps a black chrome colt 45. Apart from her a military uniform she is rather fashionable. Her voice is rather a soft husky but can become loud to issue orders. She has a her unique transmutation circle tatooted on her left shoulder.

PERSONALITY:
→ Yeon-hwa is a rather sweet and energetic girl. Having an aspiration for learning many new things and therefore taking an interest in the science department at fort briggs. Her kindness often spreads to her sub-ordinates, this side of her gaining the trust of her men and creating a close bond. However there is a reason why she made it to be the 2nd in command! Survival of the fittest! When times demand it Yeon-hwa can be deadly enemy, without doubt and regret attacking her enemies or traitors. Those who step on her kindness and try to take an advantage will also be stopped in their tracks. Yeon-hwa is a dilligent worker and finishes what she has started, though the interest in the work might affect the time she does it in. Per say, she would be asked to go into town and collect a bunch of fireworks, she will have those fireworks at Fort Briggs! If she is told to finish paperwork.... Yeon-hwa is quite the tactition, planning out her battles and plans with various outcomes. One could say she is a military genius on that matter. Coming up with multiple battle plans for both her and her subordinates in the heat of the battle. Though it seems Yeon-hwa is extrovert and prefers others to listen, she is quite herself an introvert individual, thinking alot to herself and often troubling over matters. Yeon-hwa is quite the pacifist, prefering not to kill her opponents and hoping to capture them alive or completely reducing their battle strength and make them retreat. However in special cases Yeon-hwa has been seen to mercilessly cut down her opponents. Even in the case that the enemy continues to come back time after time. Those who pose a danger to Fort Briggs will also be cut down. She seems to hold more pride for Fort Briggs than Amestria itself.

HISTORY:
→ Born into the Clan of Shin, Yeon-hwa was expected to be trained in martial arts. Why? The royal family of Xing had yet to this day had been fighting over each other to gain the title of Emperor or Empress. Yeon-hwa's older brother Jin-sau was the candidate of the Shin family. Marked to be a body gaurd at a young age, Yeon-hwa's childhood mainly comprized of martial arts, chiefly hand-to-hand combat, the art of blade and close quater to medium range combat. Being a combatant she was taught the basics of rentan jutsu using this skill to create a sensory of people's killing intent and the stench of non-humans. [something that all xing combatants seemed to have in the series]

Aha~ [insert not so tragic story] Age 11 Yeon-hwa had prooved to be a rather good combatant. What with her small figure and well honed body allowing for rapid bursts of inhumane speed combining a mixture of hand to hand combat as well as her chief weapon the katana. To put her older brother upon the throne didn't seem far away. [dun dun dun!] Jin had gotten cold feet. He didn't want to become the Emporer, he was content with the modern life style he currently had. What with a giant traditional stlyed mansion with state of the art equipment, warm food 3 times a day, a good education and safety, not to mention the royal treatment.... It was true but Jin had other reasons.

Who in their right mind would send their little sister to war? Did his love and humanity for his younger sister send her to kill others? Using her skills and sinful deeds to rise up to be emperor of Xing? The clan of shin was highly disappointed with him, turning him into an outcast and resulting in Jin, living with another identity. As for Yeon-hwa? The clan of Shin were persistent, if they could not make an Emporer they would make an Empress!!

Yeon-hwa at the age of 13 was to set on an arranged marriage to the Emperor candidate. He was from the Clan of Yun... [fast forward a little k?] There was no way she would marry a 17 year old emperor at the age of 13, she had no love for him! Dressed in a royal marriage gown Yeon-Hwa defected like her brother but not just within the Clan of Shin but from Xing. [then the emperor took a new wife but kinda died with her]

The crossing of the desert would have impossible if it had not been for Amestrians. "I found an Xing royalty! capture her for a hostage!" Yeon-hwa was kept in captivity about a month later..."ahh you ran away? damn sorry... you're free to go!"

Fort Briggs... WOW~ Here is where she joined as a militant. At first she was just a normal soldier. Picking up a pistol instead of her Kunai's but still she maintained her Katana. Later catching the eye of the Commander, Reila. Under her she learned the basics of Alchemy. Gradually taking upon the same element of ice as her. However her real ability lay to transumte the air. Due to the slight difference Yeon-hwa has a altered transmutation circle, having two more air twirls along with the river flow.

As the years grew Yeon-Hwa watched the various 2nd in commands die, fall into a coma or Run away. Survival of the fittest eh? Yeon-Hwa would proove to be the fittest and break that damn curse. For the first time she would do something for herself. With those exact same years did her powers develop, learning to transmute in rough winds. Her training at a young age allowing her to pin-point her targets.

Drachma Assaults. During her time Yeon-hwa had experienced one war. Against the Russian like Drachma, here Yeon-hwa played a good role in sabotaging the enemy water supply and armored vehicles. Using her abilities to flash freeze their water supplies, stopping their tanks by freezing the fuel lines. Though Fort Briggs would have held up fine even with the tanks present.... Her efforts had helped avoid a bigger scale war, making the Drachma military retreat two months early due to shortage of supplies and fire power.


Yeon-hwa has served to become one the pillars of Fort Briggs( i think) and has developed a great relation with the Commander. To the extent of taking an assassin soda in her face for her. She has met James and Nero and Dai and various other people. During this time she learnt and mastered her new alchemic ability which was inspired during a storm when lightning bolts were striking on the Mountain side. The concept would lie in the capatitance. Where by the sky has enough charge and makes a quick jump from the clouds towards the earth in form of raw electrical energy aka lightning. Now Yeon-hwa acts as the sky, her energy coming from electron particles that she steals. The cloud now charged Yeon-hwa would release it in a form of a lightning rod towards her target the Earth, as the electrons look to fill a gap. This new form of alchemy is highly dangerous and has prooven to hold some requirements and limits in using it. Her training has given her speed that she has dreamed of. (lan fan speed when killing gluttony after she gets automail)

This be also the stage where she learns metal transmutation. Understanding the elements of Group 2 and their +2 oxidation numbers.

ALCHEMIC ABILITY:
→ Yeon-Hwa's ability lies within the transmutation of elements that are gas in their natural state to other gases. However her Main and mastered ability is in the transmutation into Liquid Nitrogen (cyrogenic). By transmuting the air around a vicinity of 20meters she may quickly snap freeze her opponents or objects in order to immobilize or even harm her enemies. She is rather skillful at doing this and can pinpoint her exact location and target that she wishes to freeze. Her mastery has come to the extent of being able to freeze her target or location during a blizzard!


→ By stealing electron particles from near by objects ( or from electrical sources) Yeon-hwa is able to shoot a bolt of Highly lethal lightning at a designated target from her fore fingers, toes or any pointed area. How does she steal the electrons? through a similiar principle with her blade, by running her hand over a surface she excites the particles giving them enough energy for her to extract the electrons from the outer energy levels. In theory the concept lies exactly the same as an actual lightning bolt would fall from the sky to the earth. Where the capatitance of the sky and Earth reach a point where the energy jumps at an extremely fast rate towards Earth. One bolt of lightning that Yeon-hwa shoots out is no way near the true strength of lightning (that's just crazy xD) however is enough to pierce and electrocute a person to instant death. However there are key flaws to this 2nd ability, Yeon-hwa must have both her feet planted on the ground to earth any left over amounts of energy. Shooting a bolt while she is not earthed will mean that upon contact of her target Yeon-hwa will also feel the affects of electrocution. To avoid any risk to Yeon-hwa's health she may preform this alchemy only 3 a topic. If she attempts a 4th she will exhaust herself out.

(not going to go in a long explanation over this >_>) Through the transmutation circle Yeon-hwa alters the molecular structure of the Metal Group, Group 2. With intense studies of the number of electrons, valence electrons, boiling point, molecular mass and the likes, Yeon-hwa has successfully managed to turn any group 2 element to another group 2 element. Kinda like how she turns any natural state gas element to another. Her intense training has come to the extent of being able to create composites by mixing different kinds of metal as if they had gone through forging.
