Hungry for affection
The sun was high and bright in the great blue sky, illuminating the pristine park that rested below it. It was a chilly day, just as one may expect when winter was creeping around the corner, but it was still a beautiful day nonetheless.
Úna Sinclair rested under a tree in the center of Central City's largest Park. The sea of green grass that surrounded her was covered in crisp, brown leaves, having withered and fallen off the branches of nearby trees. Fall had left its mark on the landscape, but winter had not reached it yet. The lavender hair girl, still dressed in the light green sweater she had taken from someone yesterday, sat surrounded by apple cores, which were also stolen. Úna did not understand the immorality of stealing, so this was something she did not feel the slightest bit of guilt over.
The young woman's stomach growled, breaking the silence around her, as she stared off into the distance, her dreamy gaze indicating that her mind was somewhere else. What she was thinking of, few could ever guess her expression seemed way to distant, as if she were in deep contemplation. But in truth, only visions of delicious and freshly cooked food were in her head, her mouth watered at the very thought of such things. Úna shivered as an abnormally chill wind caressed her rosy pink cheeks. She did not like this cold weather at all, why was it always so cold in this world? Does it ever become warm? These thoughts also graced Úna's thoughts for a brief moment. The girl was only a day old, she understood very little about life.

Re: Hungry for affection
Nerosé Angelier, who preferred to be called Nero, had entered the park, with the sun's light shining as it rose. He sheilded his eyes with with his right hand, as his left hand was holding a picnic basket. He felt the bite of the cold, yet it didn't stop him from walking normally. His hair was blown in front of his eyes, so he was forced to move it with his free hand. His medium-long red overcoat started to move as the wind started to blow. He sighed, as he was walking.
After a while of walking in the park, he had stopped and stretched a little, after setting the picnic basket down, to do so. As soon as he finished stretching, he looked around to see if there was anyone in the area. He did find one person. The person he did see was a young woman, who had what he could tell, Lavender hair. He started to walk towards her, holding the picnic basket in his hand. The food within the picnic basket could be smelled from within six feet of him.
Soon he was near enough of the girl he soon spoke. "Hello there, miss. You look hungry, would you like some warm food?" He said, with a warm smile towards her. This girl does seem cute. He though, still continuing to smile.

Re: Hungry for affection
Though a normal human being would have only smelled the delicious scent of warm food when Nerosé came in definite view, Úna's sensitive nose picked up the scent long before she ever saw him. She listened to the white haired man speak as he steadily approached her. She had gotten somewhat better at actually listening to people when they talked, learning that when people spoke, they usually had something to tell you. Of course, Úna, the homunculus Gluttony, focused on one word more so than any other. Food. Oh yes, how her mouth did water when he uttered the very word she loved most.
Úna stood up immediately after the strange man called out to her. She did not hesitate to walk towards him and reach out for the basket in his hand, as that is what the source of delicious smell was, it called to her with such temptation that it sent Úna's heart aflutter. But, after realizing that the behaviors of people played into this, she stopped for a moment. "Y-yes, I would like some food. Thank you" she said in a soft-spoken voice that was barely audible as the wind sent a rather strong gust across the foliage of the park. As soon as she said this, she reached and grabbed the basket and pulled it out of Nerosé's hand. Well, at least she tried; just yesterday she would have simply snatched the food away from the man without a word, even if he didn't offer it.
Gluttony stuck her hand into the basket, heavy with the burden of the food it carried, but she would soon relieve the basket of its contents. The first thing Úna had touched was a package of Oreo brand sandwich cookies. She ripped off the seal and stuffed several into her mouth. She smiled contently to herself as she enjoyed the sweet taste of food, he cheeks stuffed full like a small animal. It was truly blissful for her, so much that she had completely forgotten the presence of the man who had offered this blessing to her in the first place.

"You must really like food." He said before anything else, as he had watched the young woman grab the oreos that were in there. He then set the basket down on the ground, and sat next to it, pulling out a double decker ham and cheese sandwhich with ketchup and spicy pepers, and pulled out a small thing of, still-cold milk. "There's plenty to eat, and why not have lunch with me? I'm hungry, and you seem to be. And I'm Nerosé Angelier, but most people just call me Nero." He said, smiling just before taking a bite of his sandwich, and his cheeks and forehead became read because of the spicy-ness of the peppers.
He swallowed after chewing for a couple minutes, and looked at her again. "You look cold, here." He said, standing and taking off his over coat, and revealing a black t-shirt and a red vest over the shirt. He soon handed the overcoat to her with a smile. "You also look very... beautiful" He said, smiling a little more, his cheeks still a little red from the peppers. He wasn't sure how'd she react, but he was hoping she would be happy. He then reached to get an oreo, and ate it before taking another bite of his sandwich, which he would need to take a sip of milk afterwards, to stop the peppers from burning him too much.

Re: Hungry for affection
"My name is Úna Sinclair. P-pleased to meet you, Ne-nero" Úna replied in a soft and dreamy voice. She stuttered slightly on a few words, but she had only lived in this world for a little more than a day, she still had to get used to speaking. The voracious young woman reached for a sandwich that also contained the peppers that were present on Nero's sandwich, and took a large bite out of it. She squeezed her eyes shut and made a rather distressed, yet cute face at the spicy, hot taste of the peppers. But she did not slow down on the sandwich at all, and finished it in less than a minute. Her hand darted to the nearest bottle of water on their picnic spread, and she proceeded to gulp it down. This spicy flavor was new to her, and it stung her mouth, yet she liked it for some reason, the taste was delicious.
When the white haired man offered her his coat, she took it with pleasure, happy that he could make her warmer in this cold weather. This man was nice; he had already fed Úna and made her more comfortable in this chilled wind. Úna huddled up under the protection of Nero's overcoat, bringing her knees up to her chest, and wrapping her arms around her legs. She reached for another Oreo cookie when Nero commented her appearance so suddenly. Surely this was a bold and brazen move for any man to make on a woman he had just met, and this may have caused a woman to shy away from the sheer awkward nature of this comment. But Úna was no ordinary woman. Though she knew what beautiful meant, that it was a term to describe a captivating and attractive sight, she did not understand how this applied to herself. This general ineptness at being able to relate words she understood to the situations around her practically defined Úna's comprehension skills and personality; Oblivious.
"I.... look beautiful?" Úna repeated in a distant and puzzled tone. She looked at the man with a thoughtful expression, contemplating on how she should reply to such a comment. "I think that..... Your food looks beautiful...and tasty" Úna replied with a faint smile. Swing and a miss! She failed to grasp the intent of Nerosé's comment, and simply replied with a random comment of her own, as it was the only thing that she thought was appropriate to respond with.

His ego had been brought down a notch with Úna's oblivious-ness. He sighed and noticed how quickly she downed a sandwich as big as his and a bottle of water. Is she even human? She downed all that so quickly. He thought, his left eye twitching a little as he thought about how quickly she ate what he had given her. "Um... thanks, I think. Anyway, did you like the sandwich... and did you even take time to taste it?" He asked before taking another bite out of his sandwich, and swallowling it so quickly, it almost looked like he didn't even chew. Just after he swallowed it, he proceeded to cough, mainly because of the size of the bite.
"And it's also nice to meet you too, Úna." He said, smiling. He wondered how she was able to eat all of what she did in such a short amount of time, but he shrugged it off. Soon he finished his sandwhich and the small thing of milk. He reached into the picnic basket, and saw how it was almost half empty. Only three bottles of drinks left, and two are filled with vodka. He thought with a small sigh. He took out one of the bottles of Vodka, and took two slices of pie from the basket. [color=blue]"Want a peice of pie, beautiful?" He asked, smiling still. "I know we just met, but would you mind going on a date with me some time?" He asked, chuckling uneasily.

Re: Hungry for affection
"Hmm?" Úna hummed in a questioning tone. She didn't really understand why Nerosé asked such a strange question, but she felt that it was an easy question to answer. "I can taste it, it's really good, all of your food is really good. I w-wish I could make food too.". Most would take this as a friendly compliment, but Úna meant it on terms of sincerity. If she could cook, god knows she wish she could, she would be able to make food for herself all the time! Never again would she have to ponder over when and where she would find food. However, Gluttony, being the glutton she was, would likely eat the ingredients before she could make anything of them.
Úna reached for a second sandwich, and was already hastily peeling the plastic wrapping off when Nero said the most beautiful and meaningful thing anyone had ever said to the young woman in her entire life. 'Want a piece of pie?'. Úna's response was ecstatic to say the least, well, as ecstatic as she could get, being the emotionally neutral person she was.. "Y-yes! I'd like some pie, thank you v-very much." she replied, reaching for a piece immediately. She took a bit, letting the creamy flavor of chocolate grace her taste buds with its presence. It was a short moment of bliss for her. Pie...she would have to remember this moment for as long as she could. She was truly in Nerosé's debt at this point, nobody had ever given her such meaningful experiences in life.
So great was her joy in the pie she ate, that she hardly noticed Nero's question, and only responded over a minute after he asked. "A d-date?" Úna asked, a quizzical expression worn over her face, her violet eyes looking deep into his, perhaps beyond, as she seemed more thoughtful and dreamy than usual. "A date? Like to a Re-restaurant? With food?" She asked, already imagining the hundreds, no, thousands of places she'd like to eat. "I-if that what you are asking, then I will go with you" Úna answered, a faint smile spread across her soft lips. "Your very nice to me..... you shared your food with me, I like you a lot" She stated blatantly, finishing off her peice of pie when she finished speaking. Of course, Úna likely meant 'like' in terms of friendship, as she hardly understood what romance was, but it's as they say. the quickest way toa man's Gluttony's heart is through her stomach.

Nero smiled. "And yes, I mean a date as in a resturant with food. I have money, but it's not like I'm rich. So I'd be able to pay for a large sized meal." He said, chuckling a little. He then checked out Úna's figured, and continued to smile. He took another sip of the vodka, and reached to get one of the final items of food from the basket. He had pulled out a jar of spicy peppers. He also pulled out a small paper plate and set a few peppers on it, setting the open jar of peppers next to an un-opened bottle of vodka. He smiled at her. "I like you too." He ment as he was just starting to create a bond with her. He quickly took a bite of an entire pepper, and quickly after swallowing it, he started to pant and his face turned red.
He smiled towards Úna after taking a long sip of vodka. Anyone who could tell that he was just starting to get drunk, for he had a slightly lower tolerance for alcohol. His face wasn't red anymore, but his cheeks were slightly red, and he was rocking forwards and back a little. He soon grabbed an oreo, though this time, he held it between two fingers and had his palm up, showing his transmutation circle, but quickly pulled his hand back to eat the oreo.
As soon as he had finished the oreo, a nearby bird flew away. He took a short sip to finish off the bottle of vodka that he was drinking. A few minutes after finishing the one bottle of vodka, he quickly leaned over to Úna, and kissed her on the cheek, then leaning back to where he was and a large smile grew on his face.

Re: Hungry for affection
Kyle was walking down the path, near the park. He was quite happy with all that happened lately. He had met Menoitos and Riku and had a talk with them. This day was surely quite good.
He listened as the birds chipped happily in the lush green trees. Of course they had no worries in their lives, as well as no other goal than to make a nest, make offspring and live on. Such carefree lives. And Greed could not have one such thing - he needed more, far more than that. Power, wealth, money, women, drinks, food, real estate, political and military influence. He had to have it ALL!!! But it would all be his in some time, he just had to plan this all out. He already had some plans for his brothers.
Greed made a turn into the park, shoving an old woman off his path. What rude manners - she was blocking his way through the gates and was so slow. He paid no attention to the weak protests and moved on. He was in a very good mood, even such that he hadn't stayed to watch the granny suffer a bit.
As Kyle was moving forwards through the park - a sudden smell caught his attention. It was this peculiar smell, the smell that all his brothers and sisters had. A Homunculus. Kyle squealed at the thought of meeting an another Homunculus. It would be unbelievable!
He made an another turn to his right, following his senses. He reached a small clearing where a pair sat, under a big tree. They were having a picnic. Oh, how lovely. Kyle made his way towards them, putting a very pleasant smile on his face, his eyes were narrowed as always, and his left hand was flailing forth and back. The way he walked could be described as both stylish and a bit weird.
As he came up to the pair he bowed a little, holding down his hat with his left hand and spoke, while wearing the same smile:
"Good day, I am very sorry for intruding on your picnic like this, but may I ask you a question?" - Kyle changed his pleasant smile to a shy and perplexed one. - "I am very bad at finding my way around, you see. I kinda got lost... maybe you can help me? Please?" - as he spoke he gave the girl a stare, as he spoke to both her and the man. It was her. Unmistakably - it was HER! She was the one he felt. Such a sweet girl, she looked like a teenager. Now the only thing left was for her to understand what he was, which she would by now perhaps, and for him to understand what she represented.

Re: Hungry for affection
Úna smiled blissfully as the very mention of the meal to come. She had never actually been to a restaurant before, she had stolen a pizza from a pizzeria before, but she assumed that was a different experience altogether. But from the amount of food she had seen people eating it the eating establishments that she passed by when she walked the streets, she could only assume it was a piece of heaven on earth.
Úna reached for the untouched bottle of Vodka that Nerosé hadn't opened. Popping the cap off, Úna pressed the mouth of the bottle to her soft lips and let the clear drink that she thought was water, wash over her taste buds with its strong and bitter flavor. She shut her eyes tight and made quite a humorous face, reacting to the unexpected taste, however, her gluttonous nature prevented her from spitting it up.
Úna was about to start on yet another sandwich when Nerosé did something quite peculiar. A quick peck on the cheek, innocent enough in meaning, despite Nero's drunken state. Úna understood neither drunks nor kisses, though she had exchanged a kiss of the lips several times in her short life, they were not acts of love, but acts of hunger. Nero looked at her with an odd expression and a wide grin on his face, and Úna looked back with a look of confusion. The homunculus smiled back, to mirror Nero, but her trance-like gaze met his as she looked upon him with mild bewilderment. For a brief moment, she even forgot that their was food in her hand.
However, before the young woman could say anything to the man who had just made such a brazen gesture of endearment, a well dressed man with an elitism air about him, intruded upon their meal. Úna slowly turned her attention to the newcomer, perhaps forgetting the what she had intended to ask Nero all together. She gazed upon this man in black, her distant and unfocused gaze lingered on him for quite some time without so much as a simple 'hello'. Gluttony was practically in a trance, one may as well say that she was actually looking at what was right in front of her, her mind was off somewhere beyond reach. This feeling, this sense of vague familiarity plagued Úna's mind. She had felt this way when she first met the man who called himself Pride and her first friend, Shione. This man was different from all the pople who walked the streets with looks of simplicity and little concern, he was different, but he was similar to her. His smell....it was that of a nakama, of family...that was what Úna subconscious told her. That was what her instinct told her.
Ignoring the questions the man had asked her, Úna imposed her own questions upon him in her soft and dreamy voice, "Do...I know y-.....Have we met before? You smell.... familiar." Her sentences were as incomplete as her vague thoughts that filled her head, she did not know how to describe what was her own instinct, things that she instantly knew, but could not really understand.

Re: Hungry for affection
Nero, within his drunken haze, looked at the guy who seemed to have been lost. He was usually good with seeing through peoples ruses, but within his drunken-ness, he was unable to. Even though he was drunk, his speech wasn't slurred, it was just his ability to stand and walk normally. He smiled at Úna, but was confused with what she ment. He quickly shrugged it off, as he didn't want to know. He stood up to the best of his abilities and put his hand out to the guy who just arrived to shake. "Sure, I'll help you find your way around. Where do you need to go? But before we help you, do you want some food? I still have some food left." He said, with a smiled still on his face. He wondered who the new guy was. "I'm Nero Angelier, and you are?" He asked, waiting for the guy to shake his hand.

Re: Hungry for affection
Kyle smiled when the girl spoke. It would seem that she could not understand the feeling she had, or perhaps she was simply like that. The girl, however, stated that he smiled familiar and asked if they had met before. This gave Greed an idea. He remembered that he had seen almost all of the Homunculi that were born out of Father's own flesh and spirit, however he could not remember her at all. Father must have created her when Greed was away, during a year of his absence, and now the later had to figure out how to ask the right questions as not to alarm the human and make her understand he was kin.
Kyle spoke, after the human male had extended his arm:
"I don't know, honestly, but... you do look familiar. I am actually searching for a person - not a place, though I was given the information that said she was nearby." - Kyle pretended to give her a closer look, as if inspecting her. - "You really look like that person, now that I took a better look at you. See? I was supposed to meet this girl - she's a relative of mine. I'm her uncle and I wasn't present when she was born, and her Father wanted me to find her. You see - the girl's Father died not too long ago and tasked me with this most important deed. We are kin - so I must find her... the only problem is that she probably would hardly recognize me, cuz she never saw me. One could say that I would have to smell her out to actually find her, haha!"
Kyle gave Una a gentle smile and finally turned his attention to the human male. He looked at his arm, considering whether to shake it or not - detestable creatures these humans were, and decided to do so - not to raise any suspicion or make an uncomfortable atmosphere. Then he continued:
"And thank you - I am quite hungry, I haven't eaten in some time. My journey was very important for me to take a break."
