Re: MISSION: Creta takes West City
As they began to converge onto West HQ, Markus suddenly raised his hand to stop his soldiers. They'd killed enough, and people were beginning t cower in fear... Which meant they were able to stop the killing. He sighed, and turned to his soldiers, speaking quietly to his second-in-command.
"Make the signal. We switch to non-lethal rounds and knockout gas from now on. We need no more casualties in this city - understand?" The man nodded, and made motions throughout the soldiers. Within a minute of his order, every soldier in that half of the army had switched from lethal to non-lethal rounds... They were hard atons that would knock down and knock out anybody who came within range.
I'm not having anymore blood on my hands until the President's is drained... His eyes narrowed, and he scooped a handful of gravel out of a nearby flowerpot, filling up shorter end of his cross-gun. He sighed softly, and moved his right hand onto the trigger, activating his Alchemy, compressing it into a form similar to that of a bullet.
Markus' entire Alchemic technique was based around the usage of a firearm... But it wasn't lethal... Something which amused a lot of his colleagues, but gave Markus a code to live by... Deaths were unnecessary. His eyes opened back up - they were approaching the HQ. He was hoping that things were still smooth on Spade's end...

Re: MISSION: Creta takes West City
Loki was satisfied with Josef's reply and moved on forwards. It was high time to get into position and Loki urged his squadron to do so. As they ran forwards, without making as much as a sound he spoke:
"Okay - the West City's troops are in their standby positions. We must take the higher ground to subdue them with the factor of surprise and the full force of our advantages. Let's roll! Group one to the wall, group two take the roofs, groups three and four - circle around the soldiers while they await their orders." - Loki gave commands quickly and quite understandable - he was not that good with words and a commanding tone, but that seemed to have came out on it's own. It even made Loki show a faint grin.
In 15 minutes the soldiers from groups 1 and 2 took their positions and Loki approached the main forces of West City. They were pretty much all railed in front of the barracks of West City. Loki looked back in the direction of the West City HQ. It was quiet there - nothing indicated any hostile actions inside the city.
The soldiers were still awaiting their orders, but nothing came. It would seem they would never get what they were expecting.
As Loki and his squadron came closer a single Lieutenant came out of the group.
"Sir, are you carrying the orders we've been waiting for?" - the officer did not salute Loki. This made him sigh as he pointed to the other end of the barracks square to his men. The other troops would just see this as an order to join the main forces. Half the men with him headed there, while Loki kept the guy busy:
"Oh yeah, that's right - I'm here about your orders." - Loki looked over at his men already taking positions. - "I'm here to tell you lot to stand down and drop your weapons. NOW!!!" - with a scream, Loki's mouth opened wide, from within a concentrated ball of sound appeared. It hit the officer and made him fly about 10 meters away from Loki. Quite the punch. During this time all his soldiers took their weapons from their shoulders and pointed them at the West City soldiers. Those on the roofs and the wall showed themselves.
Loki continued, while the "enemy" was confused, speaking and bending the sound so that all the soldiers could hear him:
"Okay - as I said before, you are to STAND DOWN and offer NO resistance whatsoever. Any sudden moves and we WILL open fire." - Loki looked over the enemy soldiers. - "We have the advantage of terrain and quantity, you are surrounded and we have alchemists setting up an invisible barrier around this location. So I really advise you to stay put and surrender so we spill no unnecessary blood, desu ne?"
Of course half of what Loki said was a lie, but due to his swift actions and a voice full of confidence and superiority(thanks to the alchemy) - no one would dare doubt him. A good half of the West City Military were subdued. Loki was proud of himself.

Re: MISSION: Creta takes West City
Spade on the other hand was stripping. As Natsu hustled to catch up to him, pieces of clothing were flying off behind him as the brigadier general sprinted down the hallway. In his feat of unbuttoning, he managed to remove his flashy head of Central uniform. He now sported an entirely black outfit that consisted of slick material and various other spy gears. His cowboy boots stamped against the ground loudly, but there wasn't a soul in this wing of the Head Quarters to hear him. It seemed the plan was going smoothly. He glanced back to insure Natsu was following him, his brown hair flapping with each step, ready to take off.
Spade reached the designated area and stopped, not out of breath in the slightest--even considering he had just run a rather long distance. A clear voice spoke to him over their channel. Spade frowned. "Bachelor? That was all you could come up with?" He said sarcastically, teasing Loki despite the fact that they were in the middle of a war. "I may be single, but that burns, man!" Spade laughed, never serious. He was taking his shoes off as he gave Loki trouble, unbuckling them and kicking them aside. Next, he proceeded to pull out a metal wire from his watch on his left hand. He threaded it through a pipe he could reach above him and then began scaling the wall until he reached a vent. Rather violently, he kicked it in. The grate crashed to the flood below in shambles. Emerald eyes followed it to where it lay and narrowed in concentration. Now for the tricky part. From where he hung, gripping the pipe, the head of Central called down to his second in command. "Natsu, disable the guards in exactly a minute twenty-three." He swung his body up and through the vent, landing on the horizontal metal beside the opening. At this point, he had completely disappeared from sight, leaving a trail of clothes and his expensive boots behind where no one would find them.
In his thin, black body suit, Spade army crawled through the small passage flat on his stomach. Without making a fraction of a sound, he past above empty dorm rooms, the vacant kitchen area, and eventually reached the offices of those holding important positions. A soft voice sounded in his ear bud, alerting the playboy of Josef's success. Perfect timing. It was exactly how they had simulated it. Spade continued until he made it to the further section of the building that was usually completely sealed off and filled at all times with various alchemic guards of varying degrees. Natsu was going to take care of them. They would probably be rendered useless before they could even take a step towards the Head of West HQ's door. But ugh! Spade swore he would die of dust inhalation before of anything else. With black elbows and soot-stained cheeks, he appeared to have just come from a hardcore football game. And Spade hated football.
He knew he had reached the specified grate when his flashlight was rendered useless by the light that flooded in from it. Switching the light around his head off, he stuffed it in a pack attached to his belt. Carefully, he lifted the square piece of junk up and set it down on the other side of the opening. Peering with a corner of his eye into the office, he concluded that the general was alone. What was he doing in there by himself?! Spade had expected that at least five or six other men would be with him, discussing the approaching Cretan force. Spade lowered a thin, nearly invisible wire and tied it tightly to the grate, setting it up to fall back in place with the slightest weight. Smirking crookedly to himself, the playboy determined that the rumors were in fact true. Fortunately, they worked very much in Central's favor. The Head of West HQ was a pussy who didn't even know how to command his army, let alone prepare for the prospect of Spade's betrayal. This was the end of him and his farce command. Amestris, no, the entire world was better off without money-hungry slobs like these fools. Spade knew right then and there that he would not feel a sliver of remorse after killing such a pig.
Plus, his name was Frank. Spade hated the name Frank. No, not randomly; he certainly had his reasons. But seriously Brigadier General Frank Rockefeller? Power, money, greed, gain, what else?! His time had come. Spade shot down from the vent with a loud bang as the grate caught in the hole and suspended him in midair. He landed with ease on his toes and spun around to face the white-haired general whose bright blue eyes were wide with surprise. Though alarmed, he still had no doubt of Spade's undying--nonexistent loyalty. Frizzed hair frayed out atop his head as he stood up with a greasy frown. "Spade! Aren't you supposed to be on the battlefield? You--" Time froze for the bastard. And neural alchemy swarmed in the air seven feet in front of the brunette.
Spade only had so many seconds. He seemed to vanish with speed, yanking wire from his watch and entangling the man. Time began, but the man's words caught in his throat. Literally. He changed his sentence around rather...drastically. "Spade Aeries--you bastard--go to hell!!" But with a strong pull, Brigadier General Frank Rockefeller flew into the air, hanging from a pipe like a pulley. As he choked to death, Spade met his eyes head on, holding the end of the wire. Blood spilled from the man's thick neck, staining the Persian rug below. "If you’ve never seen heaven, then how can you possibly tell someone to go to hell?" He let go and the limp, dead body thumped eight feet to the ground some feet away.
Spade dusted off his navy blue-gloved hands and searched around for his ultimate goal: the speaker system. Once he located it, the genius paged through a variance of papers in a drawer. He found the code in no time, since he knew where it was previously from studying the man the few days they were there prior. After typing it into the system, he lifted the immaculate speaker to his lips. This single speaker connected him directly to the entire West HQ, broadcasted outside through the city, and reaching loud volumes so all could hear the playboy's low, husky voice. "Yo! Brigadier General Spade Aeries here. This is an announcement notifying all forces that West HQ is officially mine. Frank here is... well, he's a little hung up if you know what I mean." He spun in a circle in the chair, getting tangled in the cord. "I command all West Forces to retreat immediately and drop your arms. This is the only way to ensure your lives. That's all." What had been Amestrians allied together against the Cretans had turned to deceit and betrayal. None of these men deserved to die. The only one who did deserve it was currently laying with his face pressed into the nicely vacuumed rug.
Spade reached into his pouch of wonder and withdrew a fancy, black cell phone. He flipped it open and it immediately dialed Markus' number. It rung a few times as per-usual until he finally picked up. Spade spun back around his the chair, automatically untangling himself from the cord of the speaker which he had set back where it had been. No use destroying nice equipment, especially when he may need to use it again. "Head of West HQ is dead. I did the broadcast. My part is done. Now hurry up and lead your non-supporters into the trap. We need to be able to tell which of you to take out. Make it obvious." He hung up, for there was no time to bother the Cretan with pleasantries. There were better things to do like...
Spade stalked over to a fancy glass cabinet and pulled it open. Wine, wine, wine, wine... He glowered at the boring bottles of red and white, and let them fall uselessly to the ground, where they spilled about the floor with their master's blood. Spade came across the rum. The rum! He was enthralled by its make and immediately went about testing its value. Fat rich man always had the best booze. He cringed as he swallowed. Really now..the cheap stuff was much better. This was a waste of the effort it took to swallow it. He knocked it over and watched as the contents leaked into the carpet. Whatever. The crap wasn't worth it anyway. He whipped out a cigarette and his dented, worn, faded, sullen zippo from the same pack. He lit up. "Natsu?" He called to his second in command who should by now be outside the door, standing on the disabled bodies of the guards. Seeing as the grate slamming back into place had not led to a mass onslaught, Spade was fairly certain that Natsu had been very successful. He expected nothing less.

"Head of Military Operations? Who's that again...?" A small grin crossed his face, and he both winked and poked his tongue out as he looked over towards the Lieutenant General, who was just putting the phone down at the moment. He smirked, and turned to face the other side of the doorframe, listening out for any other interference from any other parties... nothing. He then turned back to her and smiled brightly -- er, as brightly as you could when one of your country's bases has been attacked...
"No need to look so unhappy. We go to West City, confront El Drunko and make sure we understand what happened. I mean, there has to be a good reason for this... I know Spade, you know Spade. So we make sure that we know his reasoning. I'll get them ready, we can move out in ten minutes." As he turned to head out the door, he turned back to Reila, and looked back to her, a kind, loving softness in his sharp red eyes.
"Kia Kaha. Be forever strong." The foriegn, Maori words came quietly out of his mouth, and he turned into the hallway, hand already up to the earpiece that he carried on him constantly. Paging wasn't good enough - his team had to be ready for anything, and he quickly spoke to the leader of the troop.
"Alright. We move out to West City in ten minutes. I want you and Alpha to be ready for anything... Beta - Sit tight, and prepare the heavy cannons. We may need some superior firepower, and those new guns will do just the thing."
"But sir... They're not ready to be used in a live fire situation yet..."
"No matter. We can test them at West City."
"Sir." As the connection was broken, Dai stopped in the middle of the hallway, and rubbed one of his temples. He groaned - what had they gotten themselves mixed up in...?

Re: MISSION: Creta takes West City
Natsu followed his commanding officer as he begin to strip from his clothes. He dodged the clothes as they fell in front and around him. Natsu shook his head " Good thing my clothes are hand made by a certain Cretan woman. " his dark brown hair casually blew as he ran close behind his partner."It's almost time, I can feel it" he unknowingly clinched his fist as those thoughts raced through his mind. His violent color eyes was cleansed of doubts and fears as he gained a new sense of strength and resolve.
Natsu slowed to a halt as his commander came to a stop. He watched him climb this wall with ease; it wasn't long afterward the climb that he called down to Natsu with orders "Understood Spade." Natsu immediately checked the time and begin to count down; as he counted down he had rushed deeper into the building. He knew that he would have to be quick about these guards or else he could slip and end up getting killed by one of them.
A hall of low ranked alchemist lay behind Natsu as he stands in front of the doors leading to a hall right before Frank's door; his eyes closed as he prepared for his battle "3...2...1.." his young calm voice begin to fade as the time grew closer. Suddenly the door flies open as Natsu dashes to the first guard and elbows the poor unsuspecting men's jaw. As the previous men floated in the air, Natsu swiftly side stepped towards the second men who had just caught wind of the intruder. Natsu's excellent muscles and agility was performing beyond expectations; he high kick the men causing him to twirl in the air. The third guard could now see what was going on and knew immediately they were under attack. He instantly set his eyes on Natsu as he and his troops begin to shoot at the young alchemist. The men's light cracked voice rung through the room " Don't let him through. He's here to kill the Brigadier General!! "
Natsu's eyes widen as he notice the men and his troops begin to fire on him. His eyes slanted as he pulled the twirling men down and used him as a full body shield. The bullets begin to pummel the men. Natsu held the now dead men in place as the spurts of blood begin to splash in all directions; his eyes slowly watched one of the bullets pierce the men's back " Shit....This is starting to become dicey. I'm gonna have to act quickly. " Natsu slid in a whirlpool style to the left of the guards with his Gauntlet placed on the ground. A warm emerald colored light begin to rise in the shape of lighting like aura. The troops watched the young alchemist in awe as multiple thorned vines sprung from the ground and surrounded them. They all begin to panic; whipping their heads from one wall of the surrounding vines to the other. Natsu glared at the imploding wall of vines as the troops begin to be mushed and mashed together, blood begin to slide down the vines as the last cries of the troops were finally silenced. Natsu walked towards the final door and leaned against it, waiting for his commander to come back out; he thought about the words of the men who gave orders " Unfortunate for you..I'm more then sure my commanding officer had killed him before he even knew what was going on."
It wasn't long before Spade opened the door with a cigarette in hand; Natsu watched Spade flick it into the room causing a great explosion. Natsu's arms flung up in defense "What tha....wh...why... why would you do something like that..?"

Re: MISSION: Creta takes West City
It was theirs. After all of this trouble, the first part of his goal was in sight. Markus' eyes glowed with enthusiasm, and he turned bck to his men, making sure that they were all there... He walked faster than ever before, leading the soldiers in a march that casued the buildings alongside to slowly begin to shake, and small pieces to fall off onto the ground below. They neared the West City HQ, just in time to see their fat fuck of a head being swung awaythrough the window. He sighed and shook his head. Really. That was just brutal. He hoped the man enjoyed his sentence in Hell. Because it was probably better than this world, at any length.
Next came the announcement. And he simply had to stifle his laughter at what came... He looked around him, and any soldier still attempting to fight laid down their arms... And they... wow, they actually retreated. Maybe it was just him, or maybe Spade's voice was quite... convincing. He couldn't help but giggle, before he regained his thoroughly powerful composure, and stood before the HQ, holding out an arm to stop the advance of the Cretarian Army.
He raised his hand, blessing the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit and himself with several swift movements. He looked up at the room once more, before suddenly realizing that his cellphone, was, in fact, ringing. He sighed, and picked it up, putting the technology to his ear.
"Yeah?"
"Head of West HQ is dead. I did the broadcast. My part is done. Now hurry up and lead your non-supporters into the trap. We need to be able to tell which of you to take out. Make it obvious."
"Make it obvious, huh? You got it." The man grinned wildly, hung up and slipped the phone back into his pocket with a sigh. How to make it obvius... He tapped his chin a few times - the soldiers around him, some were loyalists, some were not. The men he'd left behind - they were all loyal to his cause, and just wanted to return home to their families without the worry of war. He thought for a few seconds, before smiling. He knew. The loyalists were the only ones who knew of his plan... So the others would fall for the bait within seconds.
He slipped out his phone, and dialed Spade's number once more, put the phone up to his ear, looked up at the building, and gaped in horror, the phone dropping onto the grass and laying in a bundle of softness. He stepped forward, and suddenly shouted out in a fervent mix of rage and worry.
"Spade!" He grimaced, and turned to his men. [color=Cyan]"We must help that man. He is a prime suspect in a possible coup of the country. He must be detained!"[/colr] The non-loyalists were instantly taken in, and they rushed into the building to "detain the suspect". They moved quickly, alright, and Markus, along with his loyalist soldiers, couldn't hold in their laughter. Especially when they could see that all of the Central officers were now leaving the building as rapidly as the Cretarian forces were entering it. It appeared that everyone was safe... Until the sounds of cracking wood alerted him to something... even more hilarious.
The building just crumpled. It looked like God had literally reached down and pressed onto the top of the building, and flattened it - as causally as accidently pushing down a stack of books with your ass, or knocking over a stack of dominoes. He sighed, and shook his head, putting a hand onto the forehead that was now sweating harder than anything he'd ever known. He pointed over to the Central City officers, and shoute to his men.
"Aid them. They are loyal to our cause. They need to survive." He nodded a couple of times, and knelt down to pick up the cellphone that lay eeping it's dialtone on the ground. He wiped it off, and dialed thirteen digits. They were the hotlink to the Prime Minister's office. And that was his target for this coup. Ten seconds later, a voice suddenly materialized into Markus' ear.
"Markus? I expected you to call sooner. An extermination of a populace shouldn't take that long."
"My apologies... Sir." There was a slihtly mocking tone in his voice - but tis guy was too dm to notice it. "I managed to show our power without mass murder, however. If you wish, you may come and see my work? It would be best for me to show you, personally, how I and my new... ally... managed to take this city by force."
"Are you sure that it is safe?"
"Positive. Sir, I can guarantee that you will not be killed by any Amestrian soldiers."
"Very well. I will be there soon." The phone hung up, and Markus smirked, and threw his head back in rapacious laughter.
"No, you won't be killed by... Amestrian soldiers..."
TIME SKIP - Some time later
Well, there it was. A Cretarian helicopter landed right in front of the burning HQ, and out of it, stepped a heavy-set, powerful man. This guy... shouldn't have been a politician. He should've been a wrestler or something, but he chose politics, and that was what happened. All it took was a couple of good points, and they were eating out of his fucking hand. Markus sighed, and lauhed, all the while shaking his head at the Prime Minister.
He looked up with a grim smile, the Prime Minister did. Markus had directly disobeyed his orders. He hadn't wanted survivors, and he hadn't wanted the city to be taken. He just wanted to show off Creta' power. He walked over to Markus, who looked utterly ridiculous, in his opinion, and started at him blankly.
"What is this, Samaris? I tell you to come and kill all of these Amestrian fuckers, and I find you staning here... With THEM?!" By THEM, he was, of course, referring to the Central soldiers that were getting their wounds tended to by his army. He grimaced, and watched Markus carefully. There was something different about the Commander today. Maybe it deserved a courtmartial.
Markus shook his head at the man with another laugh. His face suddenly changed from it's mocking stance to one of... true and pure apathy.
"You don't understand, do you? I didn't want to kill anybody. But it was necessary to take this city." He reached down to his hip, and pulled up one of the muskets, already loaded and ready. All it would take was a spark, and a lethal ball of lead would find it's way into the Prime Minister's forehead.
"All of this was needed. At this moment, one-hundred soldiers, all loyal to me, are storming your building, and subduing every one of your advisors. No, they're not going to die. Because I don't want any more blood on my hands, nor do I want to create more widows. I understand you're a widower yourself, correct? Well, it's a pity, you can't join your wife in Heaven,
because your next destination is Hell's burning depths. Die, muderous scumbag." Markus raised the musket to the Prime Minister's head, and pulled the trigger. The hammer clicked, sparked, and ignited the black powder, propelling the ball out of the barrel at a high-ish rate of speed. The round went straight into his head, and through his brain, blood slowly trickling out of the hole.
The man's body collapsed, and Markus stepped over it, towards the helicopter. He had to do this quicky, otherwise someone else might get to it first. He turned to his second-in-command, and shouted.
"The moment I sit in his chair, I'll call you. That is the moment we retreat from West City, and that is the moment that we bring this country into peacetime!" He raised his fist into the air, and then turned to Spade.
"You're not coming back with me, are you buddy?" He laughed - he hadn't expected it, so that was fine by him. "Just remember not to shoot us, alright?" Another laugh, and the new Prime Minister of Creta, Markus Samaris, climbed into the helicopter, and rose into the air, ready to take his place as the leader. It was time to make this country into a peaceful one.
It was time to take everybody back into a place where they knew they were safe.

Re: MISSION: Creta takes West City
Loki remained in position all this time. He awaited for the signal from Spade and was listening through their private radio channel. Once Spade gave the order to retreat... Loki let the Amestrian soldiers go. There were no sacrifices and no unnecessary deaths. Even the Lieutenant was alive. Shocked - but alive. Loki knew how that felt, as if a grenade just exploded near you - all a person can hear is this high-pitched sound and all the other noise and sounds are muffled by it. Of course if a grenade exploded closer - a person... or a group would die, but... Loki realized that these weird thoughts were swarming his head. He wondered if someone could kick back a grenade without being blown up or be able to dodge one if it fell right next to your feet. Grenades were interesting things - they were. The sound alchemist wondered if the man that invented them would be able to answer his question....
"Sir, is everything ok?" - one of his men asked him, while almost touching his face with his hand. Loki jumped upwards, with a scared high-pitched yelp, alerting the whole squad under his command. They grabbed their weapons and started to look around in search of any threat.
"Jeez!!! You scared the crap outta me! Oh! Gah! Man - don't do something like that again..." - Loki breathed hard - he actually got so submersed in his own thoughts that he stopped noticing the surroundings. Now some of the men were laughing, while Loki himself pouted.
He witnessed the collapse of the HQ building - a single building was destroyed during the operation. Perhaps this was a miracle, Loki knew that taking a city without heavy support was impossible. Of course this case was very different - this time the Cretans had Spade and his men "on the inside".
Loki knew that it was now time to leave. He reached his right hand into one of the jacket's inner side's pockets and pulled out a piece of paper - it was a letter. It was a letter from home. He had to go. This time it was serious it seemed. Loki's smile faded, replaced by a serious expression. He sighed and spoke to his men:
"Okay guys - I gotta do something, you just wait here. I'll be back in 15 minutes." - Loki waved as he turned around and made his way into one of the alleyways.
As he moved he pressed his commlink with his index finger and spoke, this was only for Spade, Josef and the other guys to hear:
"Hey, this is Sigma." - Loki made a long pause. It took about 10 seconds, as he walked. - "I'll be taking off. I got something to do, and I just wanted to say that it was fun while it lasted. We'll visit that library someday Strategist, and Bachelor - we'll meet again, I think, someday. See ya'll guys Sigma - out." - Loki took off the commlink and threw it in the nearby garbage can, after setting it to play some radio channel.
He walked away into the emptiness of the streets, he had a long ride in front of him - he was going home.

Re: MISSION: Creta takes West City
Lyte's temperature returned to semi-normal after the Eastern Commander finished speaking to his colleague on the other end of the call and addressed him, seeming to be a pretty cool and laid back type of person. Hearing his orders to place the men at standby until further instructed by the Brigadier General, Lyte saluted, did an about face, and walked back out of the door to get it done.
The Zero Alchemist exited the office and walked to the desk of the secretary who was stationed outside of General Masu's own office. He gave the secretary a 'I'm supposed to do this so don't say anything look.' Then he picked up the speaker that was connected to a speaking system that allowed his voice to be heard throughout all corners of the base.
Attention soldiers of the Eastern Command Center! This is a command from General Masu; standby to join the battle occurring at this time in West City until further instructed by the Brigadier General. This is not a drill. That is all.
Placing the receiver back on the desk of the surprised secretary, Lyte stood near the desk, unsure of whether to return to the General's office or wait for him to come outside.

Josef and Natsu: if you don't like the fact that you were saved via jumping out a window, let me know and I'll revise my post.]
Spade stared mindlessly at the fire as swirling flames arched up from the broken wine bottles. They licked at the ceiling and began to tear it apart. West HQ was crumbling. It was Natsu's voice that finally broke his reverie. "I didn't do it on purpose..." Spade murmured pathetically. But there wasn't time for regrets or excuses. Shit needed to get done...now! Spade grabbed Natsu's wrist and ran for it. He had to find Josef before it the whole damn building went up in smoke. The black clouds of destruction chased the brigadier general down the hallway. Spade felt like he was in Die Hard ...with a vengeance! Heh heh.
His bare feet slapped against the tile floor as he entered the area where the meeting had been going on. He almost tripped over a squirming body that had once been an elite West HQ commander. There was no time to save them...unfortunately. He spotted Josef nearby with his men. Crap Spade hadn't taken them into account. Time for quick planning!!
"Come," was all he managed out as he squinted through the suffocating smoke. He took hold of Josef and carted them back down the hallway whilst they came, Josef's men acting as their shadow. Spade dragged a hand along the cement wall and it glowed all the way until they reached a barred window. Fuck. Pulling the steel wires from the wall, Spade kicked the glass out. It shattered. Ow. He ignored the fact that there were pieces of glass sticking out of his toes and smashed through the puny grate that dared cover their escape. It flipped through the air to land seven stories down. Spade had 0.5 seconds before the roof caved in. Using terrific speed and expertise, he tied the wires around everyone, threw it around a pillar, and jumped out the window. His weight dragged the rest down with him whether they wanted to jump with him or not.
The wire stopped their eminent death just inches from the ground. The building collapsed, the pillar that held them going with it. Spade and the others landed with a thud the rest of the way down. Spade jumped to his feet, hopped on one foot, and grimaced all in the same moment. That was right before Markus approached him and a helicopter landed so close he could barely hear himself think. Over the roar of it however, Spade was able to pick up what his friend was saying. Ah, so he had taken care of all the non-loyalists already? Untangling himself and his men from the wires, Spade got frustrated when he encountered a knot. His glove glowed and instantly all of the wire turned to dust.
Spade ran up to Markus and clapped him on the shoulder. "Not this time," the playboy gave a sad smile, "I'll try not to, but my hand tends to slip sometimes...like with that fire..." He laughed and watched as the man, no, the new prime minister of Creta ascended into the stormy sky. "Later."

Re: MISSION: Creta takes West City
Preparations were complete. Reila immediately called and notified Tataki of the exact coordinates for the meeting place. She decided it would be best to charge in head-on since no one would be expecting them anyway. She took limited troops, her focus entirely on the task of getting the Cretans out of Amestris. Kicking Spade's ass would come later. She really didn't care about him attempting a coup against Amestris; he wasn't an idiot and there was no way he was doing it all without a dire reason. Somehow she doubted Hild's information. But there was no time to sit around and fret about it!
With a bounce of long hair, she rose to her feet and exited her office, waving goodbye to Yeon. It took twenty minutes to board the helicopter bound for West Head Quarters. Needless to say that she was terribly nervous the entire ride. Yeon and Houka were left behind and guard the border, making this operation entirely Reila's... However they were her backup should anything unexpected happen...
The trip to the head quarters took forever, but they eventually approached. Immediately upon sight, Reila noted with shock that helicopters filled the sky. Were they taking off to Creta in retreat? It was impossible to tell for sure. They landed instantly upon the lieutenant general's orders. Reila leaped out of the side, almost running straight into Aeries. Surprised, Reila darted backwards and unsheathed her tachi.
"SPADE. What is going on here!?"

Natsu followed closely behind Spade as the building begin to crash down under the rotting wood supporting it. He rushed down the burning hallway only knowning where to go thanks to Spade's shadowy figure. His steps close to Spades, he was lucky to have him knock down all the junk and debris in there way. Natsu was drug down with the others as Spade hopped out the window. "Ahhhhh...." Natsu yelled as was sure he would die from the fall, but sure enough good old Spade came through. Him and the others came to slow halt as the wire slowed them down.
Natsu dropped to the ground and followed Spade to the copter after the wire turned to dust. He stood some feet away from Spade as he had words with Markus, he kept quite as the two shared a moment. The victorious feeling he had was soon replaced with caution as a different copter dropped down. Expecting troops to rush out Natsu lifted his arm and prepared for battle. But was quite surprised when a beautiful woman came and drew her sword on Spade. Natsu immediately chiseled a transmutation circle with his metal gauntlet and slammed his gloved on it, causing vines to burst through the cement and wrapped around her blade. "What the hell do you think you're doing ?" Natsu bellowed towards her.

Metal shreaked against the wooden sheathe. The sliver blur slicing through outgrowth of plants. The marks where she had cut them them leaving behind singed marks of extreme heat, they would not regrow. Yeon-hwa stamped her feet onto the ground, causing the floor to turn into a dark shade of iron. The floor rose in long spikes to Meet Natsu, the Intent to kill him fierce in Yeon-hwa partially covered eyes.
"I apologize, I could but not help to come. We have air supports duck a duck and Thor on standby. Please go after your Friend, This child will take care of him" It was true she had prepared the two kinds while following her Mistress via a 2nd force of Helicopters.
She stood in front of Reila, her frosted blue eyes displeased with what the boy in front of had done. How dare he bare his fangs on Reila-sama? She took upon a defensive stance, her red hilted Katana held upper with the right and lower with the left, then finally poised next to her tied hair.

War watched as the helicopter from briggs task force flew over head. his plan was to link up with that force and get further orders from there. he was only a mile out from the west city hq. he came around a courner and there in his path was a force of about fifty cretian soldiers. war grabbed the nearby stop sign and pulled it out of the ground. he ran foward while he threw the sign into the mass of soldiers spearing one with the sign. war drew his sword as the group brought their guns to bear but he was already on them swinging his sword cuttung them down. five people died with the first swing and on the second there were five more bodies to join the guys on the floor. war grabbed one of the machine guns from the ten people he had just killed and unloaded it on the mass of soldiers infront of him. a short while later and the force of fifty were going to be marked down as either wounded in action or killed in action. War continued on his way.

Natsu was surprised to be confronted by a second player, when his target was the woman who first came. His eyes widen as the second woman came and cut his vines. As the spikes rose from the ground to confront Natsu his training and reflexes kicked in. He immediately perform several back flips giving him some space from the others " That gaze of hers is pretty intense. But she won't be scaring me away. I have a obligation to fulfill " Natsu stood up and gave the girl a slight smile before he analyzed her " Ok... I see now. I don't know much of Relia, but from that small enocunter with the other, I've learned quite alot. " Natsu clenched his fist as his eyes glanced towards the singed vines. " She's not gonna be one a easy enemy to defeat. Especially with her being able to singe my vines."
He smiled before side stepping out of her sight with speed that could on be gain through the intense training him and others had endured. He appeared to the left of the two, afterwards quickly etching in a transmutation circle into the cement and having several thick rose vines rushing towards the newcomer. They tried to entangle her arms as they seemed to be the most troublesome. Though he was a generous kid, he knew when not to show mercy, with a gaze like hers she was not to be played with. The vines carried sharp thorns on each side ready to shred her skin.

Kaoru had just managed to get o the west HQ building and nothing was really happening which confused and worried Kaoru he guessed he would have some time left he glazed around to see if he could find a place to sit back and watch the show but it seemed he wouldn’t get that kind of luxury but then Kaoru saw something that pleased him a Fruit and veggie store Kaoru assumed he had a bit of time so he went and walked in and Kaoru eyes lit up. Kaoru he walked through the store to find something good which he did Strawberries then Kaoru walked up to the counter and paid for a punnet then he started to walk out then Spades command blustered over the speaker system " Hmph looks like he done with his part haha the bloody drunk well it’s time for me to join the party and I haven't even eat these yet hmm might as well start what the hell I’ll eat'em ".
So Kaoru leaned on the window of the store which was across from the West HQ building which had everyone coming out Kaoru couldn’t believe these guys believed that guy which caused to laugh out loud Kaoru then opened the container which held his Strawberries Which he started eating leaves and all as he finished his first strawberry he had an odd look on his face which made him look like he had an orgasm. Every person who would cause trouble had left the west HQ building. But something was wrong well Kaoru thought something was wrong which was shown by a fire which had erupted in the window and the building catching alight and a group of spades men including him jumping out of the building Kaoru stayed back and watched as a copter came down and Spade talked with a man inside.
Kaoru was still staying back so he could assess the situation because another copter with the lovely and alluring Reila Tsukino as she rushed to Spade and demanded something and then a tussle between Natsu and Yeon happened but then after that Kaoru thought she should step in a bit. Kaoru then downed his last strawberry then he tosses the container to the side Kaoru then starts to walk over a bit towards the four standing over there with his left hand in his pocket and his right hand on the handle of his sword then KAoru started to speak " HEY HEY HEY ladies do you really think that is polite? " Kaoru said it in a sarcastic and a serious tone mixed together to get their attention

Red eyes skipped from person to person. His first instinct was to protect Reila from the vines, but when Yeon intervened, he smiled softly, and simply watched the girl work quickly. She confronted the next person, and he blinked at his somewhat confident demeanour, wondering if he was going to strike next. Yeah, he struck, but Dai wassuddenly interrupted by another voice, and he looked over towards Kaoru, whose hand was approaching his weapon. This was beginning to look like it would be bloody. Dai grimaced, and moved his hand over the tonfa in the back of his military pants...
But no. He wasn't going to fight. Instead of drawing the weapon, he bunched up his fists, and shouted out.
"Stop it! All of you!" He clicked his gloved fingers about ten times and put his left hand onto a nearby streetlamp, causing it to glow and explode into small pieces of metal, but with a loud crack sound. That stopped things, alright. He looked over everybody, eyes glaring at the idiots he called military officers.
"Why are we fighting? Reila, we came here to confront the drunk one, not stir up a small battle with his army. That goes for the rest of you! We're not going to attack - we just want to know what's going on... And as it seems that Creta has retreated, wouldn't that mean that Central's forces caused them to retreat? I mean, if not - Spade would be on that helicopter right now. But as far as I can tell," He motioned over towards the man who was OBVIOUSLY right there, "That man is Spade Aeries. And that means that he didn't betray Amestris, right?" His gaze suddenly switched to Reila, giving her a look that just shouted 'work-with-me-here!'

Reila was watching the entire fight with a small smile on her lips, though it didn't quite reach her eyes. Golden orbs took in every movement with sharp clarity, ready to act on the smallest chance that anyone would be injured. But just as she thought, their strength was almost completely matched. She sheathed her tachi, the vines dripping off like dead leaved in autumn. She turned to Dai, strawberry blond hair whipping carelessly in the wind. "But you must admit it is interesting. Spade's second in command is fighting mine. It's definitely a beautiful display of power. However...yes..." Her silk-lined serious tones faded off into a frown. She looked up at the clouds, rubbing her fingertips together. The water vapor gathered at her command and she bent her knees to the ground. The rim of her pleated military skirt skimmed the edges of the grass. She touched the ground briefly and stood back up.
Slowly the entire ground around them turned into a thin sheen of slippery ice. She smacked her hands together and grinned, looking directly at Spade. "Well, it seems fighting is out of the question~" A couple of Spade's soldiers in the distance slipped and fell on their asses. Reila laughed wholeheartedly. "See, it's too dangerous to move quickly. Like Dai said, why not settle this with words ne?"

"Hey there, beautiful. Like always your eyes are like gold from a faraway star..." Spade winked, flipping glossy brown hair from his face. Serene jade eyes captured Reila as she stepped from her helicopter. She drew her sword at him and then Natsu attacked without a second of hesitation. Though Spade was rather proud of his second in command's battle finesse, he'd rather avoid such...unnecessary hostility during-- Shit, it was too late. A beautiful chick hoped off another helicopter and singed Natsu's greenery. Hot damn! This wasn't good. He really hoped--REALLY hoped he didn't have to fight Reila. They may not even escape with their lives at this rate. "Eh, we--" He tried, failing. He was cut off by something exploding and a heavy glare from the redheaded...was that a guy? standing beside the head of Fort Briggs. Why was that, he wondered? Shit, was that redhead Dai? And could he speak Aerugese too? Spade sighed and cracked his knuckles as he listened to the wonderful exchange of dialogue. He was fucked.
Or not.
"As you can see, my fair lady, the Cretans are now almost completely gone. We got the city back..although...it...kind of burned down... My bad."

Dai's right eye twitched at the line from Spade. He looked at the man carefully, but resisted any urge to rebuke him for what he did - remembering that Spade was the world's biggest womanizer was the only comfort, and the only thing that stopped him from stepping forward and whacking the drunk one in the face. He smiled briefly, and suddenly noticed the spreading ice beneath his feet. Reila at work. Her Alchemy was far better then his, especially in terms of prettiness and effectiveness. He yawned, and nodded.
"Look, it's all quite obvious that Creta and Central are not together. So can we just go home? Let Spade and co. take care of their problems themselves? Because in all honesty, I think I've seen enough." He'd tell Yeon to stand down, but she wasn't under his command, no matter the difference in Rank. He sighed to himself, and tried to put on a smile for the rest of them.
Let's just get this over with... So we can go back home. He sighed, and went to lean on the post he'd just blown up, managing to land on his ass in the process.

She had stamped her feat, and Natsu's alchemy circle had been ruined. Metal had scored the engraved markings of Natsu, and his Vegetation would never see fruit. Her hands sparked, a sudden urge to send thousands of volts of pure electrical energy through the boy. Calm down... calm down... calm down....
Coldness... The floor was frozen, and reila had suggested fighting was no longer an option. It was rather untrue as Reila and Dai were adept fighters on ice. As for the girl herself, her primary skills lied within the manipulation of ice.
heh? Stand down? laughable.

Natsu grimaced as she once stopped his attack, this girl was beginning to become a problem. Then suddenly some new guy came out and started to speak. He had wanted the fighting to stop and honestly Nate didn't mind it. He never did like violence like that, he stood up straight and stared at Spade to see his reaction.
He looked at his arm, and decided with would be smart ideal to just apply the seal to his it. It would save him alot of hassle. Natsu looked at the floor, it had been completely iced over, good thing he didn't try to walk of anything.
