FORM:
→ A bayonet is a detachable blade that is usually fixed onto the muzzle of a rifle to stab enemies with at close-combat range. They are used as the primary weapon of Xanthus Icarus when he is for any reason not using his shadow-based abilities. His are specialized, each of them being made of a synthesized material that he refers to as 'Ishvallan Obsidian'. This gives the blades the appearance of obsidian, making them a lustrous black color with smooth blades. He wields them in close-combat like swords and often holds them between his fingers. He also throws the bayonets at his target, with astunning accuracy that stems from his abilities as Pride. The type of bayonets he uses most are similar to Austrian sword bayonets, with custom hand grips for easier slashing and stabbing. Each blade bears in a golden inscription written in small cursive font a sentence: Pride erects a little kingdom of its own, and acts as sovereign in it.


→ The Casull is a classical semiautomatic handgun, based on pre WWII handgun designs by Colt, most notably Colt's popular handguns, the M1911 and the M1903. It is approximately 39cm in length (being depicted to be about the same length as the Jackal), weighting approximately 6 kg unloaded and bears a six plus one shot magazine of the .454 Casull caliber that gave the gun its name. The overall look of the Casull is simple and recognizable, but what draws the attention is the abnormally long barrel, used to control the heavy round during recoil. It has a titanium nitrided barrel, which gives it a characteristic gold color. It functions using the Browning short recoil mechanism. Scripted in black letters along the sides are the words: Show class, have pride, and display character. If you do, winning takes care of itself.

The Jackal is a massive pistol made especially for Xanthus. With a length of 39cm (16 in), weight of 16kg (35lbs), and a black gunmetal construction, it is one of the most powerful hand weapons in the world. Its unique design makes it seem as if it doesn't have a pistol slide; however, the entire upper assembly is the slide, and moves only a minimal distance compared other guns', making it appear as if there is no pistol slide. The Jackal has its silver ejector port on the left side, implying that it is meant to be used in conjunction with the Casull (sending the shells to the left prevents them from obscuring the wielder's view). An inscription in golden letters along the sides reads: Pride is a personal commitment. It is an attitude which separates excellence from mediocrity.


→ The Hellsing ARMS Anti-Midian Cannon 'Harkonnen' - Weighing 120 lb. (approx. 60 kg) unloaded, the 30 mm, single-shot breech loader cannon uses various types of shells, including depleted uranium with silver for piercing armored targets and incendiary napalm rounds for destroying large groups of opponents both on land and in the air. The entirety of the 'cannon' bears a black coloration from the top to bottom, save for a golden inscription along the sides: The proud wish God would agree with them. They are not interested in changing their opinions to agree with God's.

→ The Harkonnen II is an extremely heavy and destructive weapons system designed for and used by Xanthus Icarus with the exclusive purpose of defending RIOTE and Drachman positions. It has a gross weight of 345kg and sports a pair of 30mm auto cannons belt-fed from two large ammunition boxes carried on his back and supported by his shadows. Similarly to the Harkonnen, the Harkonnen II is entirely black in color except for an inscription along the sides: Pride ... is sometimes virtuous and sometimes vicious, according to the character in which it is found, and the object to which it is directed.

BRIEFING:
→ It should be taken as a compliment by alchemists everywhere that Xanthus had these blades 'forged.' A gifted alchemist was called upon to use Philosopher's Stones provided by Pride himself to forcibly bond obsidian with diamond properties and to shape the resulting material into four bayonet-like swords, each with a small Stone centered at the hilt for aesthetic effect and to hold the forced bonds together. Ishvallan Obsidian was the name that Xanthus gave to the synthetic material; this is obviously a reference to the Xerxian Jade material that gave Xanthus the idea for the material. These swords were created to replace Ambition and Condemnation as Xanthus's primary melee weapons because the metallic features of his old weapons rendered them vulnerable to tactics containing heat, electricity, or magnetism. These blades have no such weaknesses, being truly indestructible due to their literal diamond composition.

→ The Black Company ARMS .454 Casull Auto, sometimes shortened to Casull, is a semi-automatic handgun that is one of Xanthus' favorite weapons of choice. He claims to have come up with the design himself, but typically implies that he devoured the real designer and used his skills to create the firearm, which he now uses as a personal weapon. Similar to the the Casull, the Black Company ARMS 13 mm Auto Anti-Freak Combat Pistol, Jackal (usually referred to as simply "The Jackal") is a specialized firearm and one of Xanthus' personal weapons. Also similarly to the Casull, the Jackal was created by Xanthus, implied to have been given the skills to create the weapon after devouring its original designer. Both weapons are to heavy and unwieldy for any natural human to use effectively, if at all. However, due to Xanthus' enhanced strength and his ability to hold objects with his shadows, he is capable of wielding both guns at the same time, one in each hand, without noticeable effort.

→ The Harkonnen is essentially an assault weapon that is only present when Xanthus foresees a large-scale confrontation being inevitable. Carrying this weapon, the homunculus-enhanced Xanthus serves perfectly as long-range fire support. His immense strength also allows him to use the weapon while moving, using his shadows to support the weapon so that his accuracy remains unaffected. This weapon is the offensive counterpart to the Harkonnen II, with the main difference between the two simply being a matter of maneuverability.

→ Similarly to the Harkonnen, the Harkonnen II is essentially a weapon meant to be used in large scale assaults and confrontations. One important difference between the two however is the fact that the Harkonnen II is less of a singular weapon as much as it is a weapons system; one might even go so far as to consider it to be a personal weapon platform. This weapon system is typically used only during defensive battles or from within a large mobile structure, such as a large ship or a cargo plane to give a little extra firepower.

SPECIAL ABILITIES:
→ These weapons are made of an artificial fusion between obsidian and diamond that combines the molecular-level sharpness of obsidian with the invulnerability of diamond. They are stronger than steel by far, and because they are sharpened to the molecular level, they can cut through virtually anything with ease, be it skin, rock, bone, and even steel itself. Practically the only thing that these weapons can not cut through easily is a solid cubic diamond. With repeated strikes however, even diamond will eventually yield to the Ishvallan Obsidian Bayonets. Defensively these swords are also rather capable, being able to deflect bullets and withstand temperatures beyond virtually all known earth-bound sources without mark or blemish. Xanthus claims that these are his primary weapons should his shadows prove unnecessary or unusable for the task, such as if he were unable to use them or his opponent used carbon-reinforcement. Pride refers to these as his 'Ultimate Blades,' in direct reference to the Ultimate Spear, Shield and Eye carried by Lust, Greed, and Wrath respectively.

→ The Casull fires custom-made explosive .454 Casull rounds, with the steel bullets bearing a core made from carbon-enhanced materials. Even though Xanthus has stated that the round uses explosive bullets, the traits exhibited by the bullet wounds show that it displays characteristics similar to that of a full metal jacketed pistol round, being capable of punching through the lungs of two people without having the round explode. The weapon has a single-stack magazine meaning a capacity of 7 rounds as seen in other .45-caliber handguns with single-stack magazines such as the M1911 and SIG P220.

The Jackal fires a huge thirteen-millimeter bullet, encased in carbon-enhanced materials and tipped with a mercury-ignition charge. The powder charge is a special formula known as "Marvell's Chemical Cartridge N.N.A.9." The rounds are also explosive hollow-tips, and it has six rounds per magazine. The bullets were designed almost exclusively to be used against Chimerae, especially those who can shrug off lesser firepower with ease; however, it also makes for an extremely effective anti-Homunculus combat weapon, an irony not missed by its wielder.

→ The 30 mm, single-shot breech loader cannon uses various types of shells, including depleted uranium with silver for piercing armored targets and incendiary napalm rounds for destroying large groups of opponents both on land and in the air. This is the epitome of an anti-tank rifle, and is typically used only for the purpose of destroying heavy equipment from a long-range.

→ The Extra Long-Range Bombardment Firearm System for Localized Defensive Use "Harkonnen II" has a maximum range of 4000m, making it ideal for tactical defensive situations. For additional firepower, the pair of cannons could double as a grenade launcher, launching two of the explosive incendiary grenades for wide-area field dominance; one from each barrel. Between its range and its firepower, this system can rip aircraft from the sky, or thin out ground forces if need be.

The Jackal weighs a lot for the time considering that it is packed in with high explosives during the time by Dok. Are you certain you want a 35 kg gun? Which high explosives contributed to its weight packed right inside. Of course, you could lighten it up a notch, since that's like carrying a baby with one hand. Remove at least 15 kg from it, lighten up the load on your end, seeing how you're a fan of Hellsing lore, but I am SURE you're not a fan of having your hand exploded by a maniacal Doktor.
