BRIEFING:
→ People had been trying to find ways to come up with “Illusion” alchemy for a long time, but being able to control the minds perception with Alchemy alone is extremely difficult. Therefore Ike just uses a much simpler method to attack his opponents senses, or in particular, their sense of sight. In actual fact when Ike enters a battle he carries small pressurised capsule of a Hallucinogen drug (in gas form). Now Hallucinogen drugs are split into three categories and the type that Ike uses is called a Dissociative which alters the signals from parts of the body to the brain. Now this drug is a specific Dissociative drug that alters the signals from the eye to the brain, therefore altering what his opponents sees. Once ready Ike will releases the pressurised gas and use the alchemic circles upon his gloves to amplify the gas, allowing it to reach people further away at the moment the gas is quickly spread around in an area of about 20 meters. Since its a gas its breathed in and since all humans have to breath, anyone in the area is usually caught. The gas is colourless, buts has a faint smell often said to smell like freshly cut grass, once you’ve smelt it thought, you’ll soon find yourself under its spell. The gas inverts an opponent's sense of direction by confusing the brain. It confuses the brain by effecting the electrical impulses to the eyes and neck muscles and the ones coming from the eyes to the brain. Up and down, left and right as well as forward and backward are opposite. It even affects the view of surrounding buildings making them appear upside down and the sky at the floor. This is done by inverting the impulses to the brain, making everything appear to be upside-down, if someone were to try and look up, the impulse from the brain telling the eyes to look up would be inverted and they would be actually looking down, however they would be unaware, as both impulses to and from the brain and eyes are upside down. That’s the basic way of explaining it.
The reason this is effective is because it’s almost impossible for someone to figure out where Ike is actually attacking. Take an example that Ike is attacking someone head on and striking from the right, if one were to try and block the Ike they could see then they would find that there block was ineffective and that his blade passes through their block. This is because in reality Ike is attack from behind and striking the left and therefore it’s a direct hit, however the illusion doesn’t allow the affected to see that.
The illusion lasts for around 4 minutes for each capsule, and Ike always takes four capsules into fully fledged battle. Ike also carries 4 capsules of the antidote for the gas, which one he starts the illusion he takes, because if he didn’t he would find himself in the illusion.

For Ike's next move, he focused more upon having to rely less upon his antidotes and have a method were Ike can poison his victims without always being caught in the gas itself. That way he could save his antidotes. The breakthrough came when he found the gas to be flammable. Ike being as intelligent as he is was bale to use this as a starting point to his new Alchemy. Of course being the lazy person he is, not much of his new alchemy was actually created by him. Instead he decided to use the old fashion and highly common flame alchemy. Ike now uses a modified Zippo lighter which stores his flammable drug. The Zippo lighter also has the alchemic circle for flame alchemy, with a few differences to fit Ike's needs, on one of its sides . All he has to do is place the Zippo lighter in his gloved hand so that the circle on the Zippo lighter is touching the alchemic circle on his glove. If they are then Ike can cause an explosion with a dangerous aftermath

SPECIAL ABILITIES:
→ once the gas is into your system certain stages occur. Firstly the affected person’s vision becomes blurry and distorted to the point where things become mixed shapes of colour. This take a few seconds. Then the affect blacks out for a couple of seconds, The temporary blindness is due to the brain, rejecting the initial inversed impulses, but once more arrive it is forced to accept to avoid damage to the nervous system in the brain. Once this happens the person’s sight is inverted (only up down left and right though, backwards and forwards is the same.This lasts for about four minutes. Once the illusion is coming to an end, the person’s vision once again becomes blurry until everything is distorted shapes of colour. After a couple of seconds of that, the person blacks out for a few seconds and once they regain their sight they are back to normal.

→ Explosions, the main weapon of alchemy, usually created by increasing the amount of oxygen in the air to make it conbustable, however Ike does it a little differently. Ike has a lighet which burns his combustable hallucogen gas and because it lests out tiny amounts of the gas when the first spark is made, Ike is able to use the transmutation circle on his glove to expand the gas using the other natural gases in the air. He creates narrow pathways with it and creates a large density near his target. Then the spark ignites a flame which follows the gas until it creates an explosion. However its quicker than most explosions and creates more smoke. It is infact the smoke which is his weapon against his opponents, the explosion is just a really dangerous decoy. The smoke carries what is the drug, meaning anyone who inhales the smoke also inhales a large amount of the drug. The drug takes an effect straight away. For the effect of the drug look above. Using this needed alot of pratice because there is only a split second where Ike has the gas but not the flame, so he has to quickly create the pathways of the gas, in fact most of the time Ike is still creating the pathway when the flame ignites, so if he's distractic then it will fizzle into nothingness.
