DESCRIPTION:
→ Standing at an exceptionally large height compared to the average human being Nikolai is quite the imposing figure, pale white skin from spending long periods of time holed up in the dark, light blonde hair that comes down to the small of his back and his held in a ponytail as well as strong facial features, appearing as if sculpted out of stone by a true artist. His eyes are oddly enough, a deep brown, clashing slightly with his hair color.

His height is not the only thing that causes him to be so imposing, his shoulders are just over a meter wide and the rest of his body is equivalent in size, fists the size of hams and feet existing at about a foot and a half in length with six inches at their largest part.

Other features that can be included are a large 'X' like scar on his back from a tangle with a group of criminals and another large scar just under his ribs from a knife thrust aimed to kill.

Nikolai tends to wear dark colors, it doesn't matter what kind of clothing he is wearing, whether it be good clothes for going to a sophisticated part or a skulking uniform for infiltration, he makes sure it is dark colors no matter what, even if it involves him having to order new clothes in a hurry.

PERSONALITY:
→ Absolute, Nikolais decisions are absolute. He never makes a decision and changes his mind and will most commonly do the first thing that comes to mind. He fights to the death, showing no mercy to murdering criminals, although he does tend to show mercy to those who simply robbed people and caused no bodily harm to innocents.

Nikolai is also a master planner, he creates situations with his mere words which can decide the outcome of an entire campaign. When he is incapable of creating a situation (without physical involvement) where the outcome is him succeeding, he tends to call forth his physical power and use the sheer physical force and powerful alchemy he can bring to bear to succeed.

For actual personality and the way he reacts to other people, the best example is when he is in a situation where it involves him talking to a Red Headed woman. There is something quite irrational within Nikolais brain that makes him attracted to red headed women even before he knows their personality. Even after learning more about them he still has a unexplainable urge to serve and do as they say, no matter whether they are shy and reclusive or rude and obnoxious, it is just the way he feels and he can't explain it.

Other examples may include his deference to women for making decisions or planning out combat, having a habit of eating large quantities of food and chasing them down with liters of milk, and meting out consequences right on the spot for wrong doers that he encounters.

His combat style involves using his physical power to simply beat down enemies and if that fails to use his Acid Rain Alchemy till they are incapable of fighting any longer. He hates using weapons and so carries none other than a pair of gloves to prevent him from cutting open his knuckles if he punches someone in the teeth.

HISTORY:
→ Born in North City, the circumstances revolving around Nikolais birth are quite confusing. It is quite well known that his father was Drachman and his Mother Amestrian but it is unknown as to how they got together, whether it be that his father had snuck into the country, or his mother had fallen in love with the man on a trip to Drachma. All that is really known is that they both loved their child very much and that they both had different views on how he should be raised and what skills he should learn.

His father wanted him to learn fighting alchemy and his mother wanted him to learn healing alchemy. They fought about it but eventually came to a conclusion and compromise. They would teach him both, for it was always good to have both and they wanted their son to be an Alchemist because that was one of the best ways of life in this world.

However, before they taught him alchemy, he would need to be able to walk and speak. And so they began teaching him to speak even before he could walk, his father teaching him Drachman and his mother teaching him Amestrian. Being such a bright boy even at a young age he quite easily learned that everything had two names for it, ones that his father used and ones that his mother used. Everytime he looked at something he associated it with these words and knew basic Drachman and Amestrian before the age of two.

It was quite a surprise for his parents when, for Christmas day they got an amazing present. It was on this day of 1992 that Nikolai began to walk, one of the very few presents that he could give his parents and that they would be truly happy with, not just because it was from him but because of what it was as well.

After he began to walk they began to teach him the basics of Alchemy as well. They home schooled him in many things other than Alchemy, not only languages but politics, math, and and all the various substances that were made of elements and the compilation of the elements that made up other substances.

In other words, by the age of seven he was a genius, capable of listing o the entire periodic table and how much of each element was in nearly anything you asked him about.

Thing was, he hadn't even begun to learn alchemy yet, only the things he would need to know when he did learn it. What his parents had done was teach him the knowledge for Alchemy, but waited until he was older before teaching him what exactly Alchemy was.

And so, on his eighth birthday he began to learn, first reading and being taught the basics, such as equivalent exchange and how to draw a transmutation circle. Throughout the continuing years he learned more and more of Alchemy and its uses, his parents trying to mold him into what they wished but ultimately failing, or succeeding depending on how you looked at it.

It was Nikolais choice, upon his sixteenth birthday to attempt something his parents had never attempted to teach him. His attempt was to manipulate the most precise part of any element and something that could eventually prove the most powerful form of Alchemy to ever be imagined. His experiment was the manipulation of Protons, Electrons and Neutrons. The very things that made up everything. By manipulating these he could change water to wine, lead to gold, and even oxygen to steel. It was all in the manipulation and the experimentation, for he would need to learn a few more things than he had known already.

What was the outcome of said experiment? Well, as you can guess it failed upon his first attempt, for trial and error was the way of the world, no? But this did not discourage him, he continued to try, until, upon his twenty first attempt after much studying and learning he succeeded. He managed to manipulate the Neutrons, Protons and Electrons in standard Water to create an Acid. This acid in itself was quite powerful, enough so that it could eat through iron in a matter of seconds.

It was with this revelation that became his first attempt at what would become his signature Alchemic technique that he trained, eventually succeeding in making other liquids into different liquids, gases into different gases and even solids into different solids. The reason for only being capable of turning compounds into another compound of the same state escaped Nikolais grasp but he would find out eventually, and when he did, he would become the most powerful Alchemist in the world.

And so the years wore on, Nikolai eventually joining the Military and becoming a Military alchemist, and here he is, searching for the answer to his success.
