The spluttering of a snowmobile engine broke the silence in the still evening air. It seemed to be that one of the vehicles was being taken, and speeding off into the night. The man sitting on the back had red hair that spread out far behind his head, and was wearing a pair of goggles that didn't seem to be fogging up at all. A determined look to what was seen on his face, Daigoro Ito was seen to be flying along on the mobile, appearing to go nowhere. In the darkness that was building up, Dai managed to make out the landmarks that defined that path to where he was headed. The lights flickered over the landscape, and Dai finally made it to where he was looking to go - the cave sprawled out before him. He smiled, climbed off of the now silent machine, and walked out and into the cave, taking the goggles off of his face.

His breath raised in heavy spirals as he walked along the cave's length, feeling the wall to his left until he'd found the indent he was looking for. The rock that covered the entrance to another path. He had a long walk ahead of him, but since he was in a hurry, he should've been able to get there faster. He heaved, and pushed the rock out of it's path, before running back to the snowmobile, and pushing it back into the cave, hidden from any eyes that might be looking around. He ran through the hole, and out into the night...

His footsteps padded along the cold, frozen path, as Dai ran up the trail towards the place that he had hidden the Philosopher's Stone with Reila. His thoughts went back to her face, but shaking them off was the best idea right now. He hurriedly shook his head, and suddenly realised that he was now, in fact, at the cave. And it was dark. With a sigh, Dai walked into the cave, and down towards the end... As soon as he reached the end of the tunnel, he started to move his hands across the rock, until he'd found what he was looking for - an indent. He slipped his fingers into the hole, and pulled a smooth stone out of the hole, and smiled.

He yawned - realising how tired he now was. He wasn't able to go back - he'd be lost within minutes. He'd just sleep here tonight, and hope that he lived to see the next morning. His hand went to the pocket that he kept his phone in, and he pulled the piece of technology out, dialling Reila's number. The dialtone rang once, twice, three times, before stopping.

"Hai." Dai smiled, and spoke quietly into the receiver.

"I have it. I'll see you tomorrow..." The redhead hung up, thinking that he'd heard something about to be spoken by Reila... No, it was nothing. He smiled, and curled down as close to the wall as he could, before falling into a deep, fitful, shivering, sleep...
