→ Salathiel has black medium sized hair, dark eyes and his skin is very white. He tends to avoid the sun because of that. He wears black clothes and doesn't care much about fashion. Sometimes he wears shades, as he doesn't really enjoy the daylight.

PERSONALITY:
→ Because of his look, Sal is sometimes mocked by other alchemists, so he became a bit antisocial. He is calm and likes to observe things before he acts, but since when some people died because he didn't act in time, he doubts his own methods. He always tries to learn new things, even if he shows arrogance.

DEEPEST SECRET:
→ He was born and raised until age 5 inside a mine, as his parents were slaves. After he was set free, he could never get used to the sunlight.

HISTORY:
→ After the mine where he spent five years collapsed, he was saved by May Chang, who then left him to be raised in the near city of Youswell. He never found out what happened to his natural parents, as he almost instantly dedicated his life to alkahestry , the alchemy used by his rescuer. However, his failure in teaching himself this art and the lack of information about it in Amestris made him change his efforts towards alchemy. He was more successful with this, and after a few years of training with a master, he started experimenting on his own.
Because he left his foster family, he was forced to steal for a living while in Central City, so he hooked up with a gang of thieves who learned him the best of stealth. His former alchemy master found him and scolded him about doing this. Through his master, he gained access to more alchemy secrets and started thinking about becoming a state alchemist.
However, upon his return to Youswell he accidentally found out that it was a state alchemist who provoked the mine crash from his childhood. At age 18 he received a gift from his master: two tattoos on his hands representing transmutation circles. He never could learn to use them without suffering excruciating pain. All his master said was that he wasn't ready yet.

ALCHEMIC ABILITY:
→ His elemental alchemy revolves around electricity. It is the only alchemy he can do empty handed (and without fainting because of the pain). He can even redirect lightning using his arms, so in time of storm he is at his best.
Besides alchemy, he like close combat because of his great evasiveness. Has a wakizashi taht he uses when needed, though he'd rather incapacitate his opponent than kill him.
