DESCRIPTION:
→ Phoenix isn't very tall for his age, neither is he very well built. Its his small slim body which he uses to his advantage to make his martial arts faster and more agile, instead of focusing upon power. true to his nationality and his abilities, Phoenix usually wears an outfit that allows him to use martial arts to the best of his abilities, that is when he isn't wearing the uniform of the Xingese military. Unusually for a young teenager, Phoenix has Grey hair and red eyes. Firstly he wears a a baggy sleeveless Grey shirt, which has a black dragon print upon it which is located on the right side and travels onto his back. On top of that he wears a black coat like piece, that travels down to just past his waist. It has a long open v neck showing all of Phoenix's chest. Since it has no buttons to keep it together, Phoenix has it overlap and kept together with a dark red sash. Over the sash Phoenix has a brown belt which has the sole purpose of holding a small bag to hold certain equipment. In the same color as his sash, Phoenix has a long scarf which is slightly damaged at the end. This is merely an accessory just like the chain he wears as a necklace. Phoenix also wears long fingerless gloves which travel all the way up his arm and stop just before his shoulder. His lower half consists of tight black pants and black shoes. He also has ear piercing, with two small silver rings on one ear and a more decorative yellow string on the other.

PERSONALITY:
→ Phoenix is a noble person, despite the fact that he's young and comes from a poor common background. He follows a code of honor, and serves the royal family without question, holds them in the up most respect and believes that if he were ever to betray them, that he should be punished with the only worthy punishment; death. An example of his respect would be that he would always bow his head before their presence, as if he wasn't worthy of looking at them. He calls anyone he meets "brother" or "sister" most of the time. This is down to the fact that he loves the human race and believes that everyone is connected to each other, and so shouldn't solve their differences in fighting wars. However this pacifistic trait is a cause of turmoil within him. He hates killing others, yet he cannot risk losing his honor by leaving the military and failing the royal family. So in an attempt of do both, Instead of killing his opponents, he merely tries to knock them unconscious, he has yet come to a event which will force him to chose on or the other, the very idea of that event scares him. When serving his masters, he will usually show next to no emotion allowing his face to only show determination. Although when truly alone he'll show a different personality, a kind, soft spoken and usually quiet individual. Neither are acts, it’s just that he takes his duties very seriously. As expect from someone in his profession, Phoenix is extremely courageous and determined, to the point where some would say he is foolish. He is willing to put his life upon the line without fear. Phoenix is a selfless and thoughtful person, and tries he best to make a good impression to others.

HISTORY:
→ Phoenix was born into the Jian family and was the youngest of two children. His parents were not noble men, but instead just common farmers from a small village. There lifestyle was below the average living style, but not terrible either. From a young age Phoenix had a taxing life. He would go to school study and then go work upon the family farm. Although he saw nothing wrong with his life, Phoenix always dreamed of seeing the world and thought about joining the army to do so. However Phoenix hated the idea of killing others, it disgusted him, so he hoped that he would find another way to get out of this. Like most boys Phoenix took up Martial arts as a hobby. This along with school and working on the farm meant that he had no free time and he would always eat a load of food and sleep alot. He found that with this lifestyle he was able to stay in good shape through out all of his younger years. Seeing as the farming pushed him even further than just martial arts. He would continue like this through his young life.

When Phoenix reached the beginning of his teenage years with his 13th birthday. He found that he family had saved up money so that they could afford to send Phoenix to a boarding school in Xing's capital. See his opportunity to begin traveling the world, he accept this gift and gave his family a teary goodbye. In this boarding school they taught alchemy and Alkahestry basics, however these two subjects didn't interest him, as if he was needed in combat he would just use martial arts. It was also during this time when Phoenix developed a great deal of respect for the royal family. Upon reading Xings history of royal families and constantly hearing of there good deeds for the country, Phoenix became to realize that they were alot better off with them, and so being the kind person he his, phoenix began looking for a way to show his gratitude towards them. Without the responsibility of working on the farm, Phoenix found time for other hobbies such as falconry (and secretly own his own pet falcon) and the Auregese art of kenjutsu and of course continuing his martial arts in the school club. After he left school Xing seemed to be preparing for war and demands for solders increased. Phoenix seeing this as a way to pay his debt to Xings leaders, reluctantly decided to join up to there military.

Phoenix was now a member of the military, and continued to be after the arms race calmed down. Finally at the decisions that this was where he was meant to be, and filled with the determination and the abilities to serve his country, Phoenix only had one other problem left. His own moral code which forbid him to kill others who had a claim to innocence. While out in the field Phoenix found his own inability to finish off his opponents frustrating, as it led to hesitation and possibly his own defeat. Soon after Phoenix, decided that he was never going to be able to give up on his morals and instead compromised. He found himself increasingly knocking opponents out or rendering them unable to fight which got them out the way, without killing them. Perfect. From then on, Phoenix was able to focus fully upon serving his country, instead of his own conflicting morals. However Phoenix quickly became recognized for his skills, especially in close combat. He was asked to become a member of the Lotus fraction, and specifically an Assassin. Just after becoming at peace with his decision to become a warrior, Phoenix faced a new problem. Assassin couldn't just leave there prey unconscious, most of the time they had to be eliminated. Up to this day the only words of comfort that Phoenix could give himself is that the people that Phoenix had to target were especially dangerous in the royal families eyes.

TRIVIA:
→ As seen the in picture and stated above, Phoenix likes birds and has a pet falcon which is called Horus, which has been with him for years and has over time become undoubtedly loyal to his master. On another bird related note, one of Phoenix's few hobbies is falconry which he's a young master at.
