DEscriptION:
→ Hair color is black, which reaches to her feet and maybe longer, and often worn in very elaborate headdresses or hairstyles, though often changes according to the weather, season, date, etc, they carry the motif of birds (mostly the phoenix that represent the empress), flowers, pearls and other precious gems. She also has a symbol painted on her forehead which is reference to the symbol, the eye, of what Kumari wear to show their gift of foresight. Most refer Yanghee as a reincarnation of a goddess, namely Xi Wangmu, the Goddess of Death, Punishment and Illness but also ironically, Love and Beauty, where her title has been taken from.
Her eye color is black and body shape is very curvaceous. Her style of dress is very traditional but mostly sticks to the Tang Dynasty style of dress as well as hairstyle. She is rarely seen wearing informal clothing, if so, they are usually long dresses, coat's and hats along with gloves, mostly Amestrian designer wear. Her elegance and beauty have enchanted many who come across her, as others label her beauty to be simultaneously dangerous.
Yanghee’s mannerism’s are very graceful as expected from her station but does have her own sense of humor and does not carry airs which makes her very approachable and likable, even to the other wives to the Xingese emperor. But can scare some people without even knowing it.
She is not seen without her train of servants that trail after her shadow but rarely seen without them. She walks very slowly in dainty steps yet with grace, sometimes her walking is described as "floating", and her voice is described as “can smooth a crying baby but could silence anyone with a few cold words”.

PERSONALITY:
→ Yanghee has a gentle and warm personality that augments her appearance. She is a soft-spoken, polite, and caring woman who uses honorifics when addressing everyone, including her subordinates and the enemy. She rarely shows any signs of panic or distress, and has a great sense of duty as she is an Empress of Xing and feels that showing any signs of panic and distress would greatly lower down her subordinates morale. With her grace and kind manners, she lets others know quietly that while she may be soft, she is not to be taken lightly. Despite her gentle nature, several members of the Xingese Court and other lower classed wives fear her greatly.
Though she isn't an Alkahestrist, Yanghee relatively level-headed in terms of how to fight, stating that if one's excuse for a battle is to fight out of hatred, prejudice, or simple competition, as some people do, hen it is merely instinctual and animalistic, and that it makes the challenger look "childish," "unworthy," and "not much of a warrior," though she has proven during her rare battles as a full-fledged fighter, her weapon is a halberd, that it is 'acceptable' when it involves vengeance, although she does not view even that as a reason to fight. She does not enjoy violence yet finds that battle is inevitable in the times she lives in.
She's also knowledgeable, analytical, easygoing, fairly compassionate (usually towards her friends), humorous in her own right, and exhibits a cheerful, energetic demeanor even in formal events or situations.
Because of these above traits, she does not give in anger easily and always keep her anger at bay. But that doesn't mean she will not give out threats, though abit softly and ice cold. These threats are not idle and will not hesitate to carry them out if she wished to.
LOVE:
→ Peaches, children, tending to the gardens, peace and quiet and relaxing.
HATE:
→ Disruption, discord and order, violence, mind games and seeing people suffer.

HISTORY:
→ The only daughter of a Xingese noble family, one of many fifty clans within Xing. Yanghee's father was a commandery governor, but died when she was only 2 years old. Despite her father's early death, her family remained wealthy, and during some civil wars, her family became locally important in famine relief for the poor.
When Yanghee became 5 years old, she was selected among thousands of girls to become a "Kumari", worshipped as a living goddess or simply as manifestations of the divine female energy. This would last until she starts to menstruate, after which it is believed that the goddess vacates her body. Serious illness or a major loss of blood from an injury are also causes for her to revert to common status.
Yanghee did not understand the concept of being worshipped like a goddess, but none the less enjoyed the attention she was recieving from court officials and the general public but had to sacrifice her family for the status, as they had to make a formal visit and could not openly show their affection. Yanghee was taught not to show her true emotions as it would hinder other affairs, also to "behave" like a goddess should, and kept her feelings inside but this lead her from being a carefree young girl to a detached introverted young girl who had matured too quickly.
Then at 9 years old, Yanghee started her menstruation and was reverted about into a "mere mortal" was found herself back as a daughter of a nobleman. Although she was once again part of the ordinary world, she could not completely shake off the mystique associated with having been a Kumari and often had trouble adjusting to 'normal' life but with the help of her family and friends, she started to live normally and reverted back from a distant young girl to a carefree girl and would remain so for many years.
During this time, she enjoyed the wealth and prestige of her class, also wtih a formal education that taught her Amestrian, poetry, painting, dancing, singing and, upon her request, combat. Reputation of her beauty spread far and wide into Xing where many suitors flocked to take her hand in marriage but her mother closely guarded her as she had other plans for her daughter and,of course, she was the heiress and only child of the clan.
And those plans came true when Yanghee turned 16, she participated in the selection process for concubines for the new Xingese Emperor along with other 49 girls. This process was supervised by the Kang Ci Imperial Dowager Consort; Yanghee was one of the few girls selected on that occasion and was appointed an Imperial Concubine of the first class. With this, she once again had to give up the ordinary life she had and went back into isolation within the jades and golds of the Xingese court but, unlike her time as a kumari, retained her carefree compassionate personality.
Like many other girls, Yanghee had to wait for the emperor to call them to his bed but Yanghee had to wait the longest, at the most nearly a year despite being an Imperial Concubine of the first class, and had to bribe her way to the emperor's bed and finally after a long wait, consummated the marriage. She never produced any children but none the less was made an Empress Consort at 20 as she was favoured by the Xingese Court due to her reputation and for her past as a Kumari (which lead to believe she would bring great fortune to the current ruling dynasty). Now resides in the western part of the palace and given the title "Xi Wangmu" or "Queen Mother of the West".
