BRIEFING:

→ Takegami can create a carbon star and use it as a ranged weapon, or as a melee type weapon. Thanks to his heat resistent gloves, he can focuse the nucleus in the palm of his hand and use it as the nucleus, which allows the star to form around his entire hand, giving off the high heat radiation and can burn through flesh when a direct hit is made. When used as a projectile, the star can only travel up to ten feet before it explodes. This is a star like the sun we are talking about. I can hardly see heat-resistant gloves resisting the sun...considering how damn hot you say it is.
Also, how does it travel? Are you implying that he throws it/punches someone with a star around his fist? Remember stars have a gravitational pull also, so if you throw it away from yourself, it probably wouldn't even go ten feet and it would burn your fist off...
