Aeria Gloris (Menoitos, Karyu)

Aeria Gloris (Menoitos, Karyu)
Moscow! The second most beautiful place in the world, next to Osaka of course. Karyu walked through the frozen city, dressed in his usual attire, carrying a guitar case instead of a suitcase for once. He sighed slightly and pushed his hair from out front of his face, revealing his azure eyes, and his warm smile. The smell of cherry blossoms flourished around him, causing a few females to look at him, their eyes filled with lust and contempt. He, however, saw them entirely diffrently. Everyone looked at him as if he was another human, however, through his eyes, everyone had a kana above their head, telling of their mental illnesses or if they were perfectly fine. He walked with a confident stride in each step he took, his hair gently lifting, revealing the white earphones he wore so he could listen to his music. He had recently learned Drachman, and had a drawing towards this place for some reason, thus he decided to pack some of his things and come out here.
"богини был вызван мне в этом месте из-за ее красоты, нет?"
Karyu scanned the large buildings carefully, taking note of their distinct figres and noticeable attractions. He couldn't help but smile at the beauty of this city, it was almost as beautiful as Osaka was in the winter. He slendered his eyes and continued to walk untill he came upon a tall building, with a wide and lengthy staircase before it. He slowly walked up that staircase, pulling his cellphone out. He looked at the time, and smirked, as he arrived five minutes before his set arrival with a potential ally. He walked through the many doors of the building, and bowed to a man who was blocking a velvet carpet which led to a random hallway with one room at the end. Karyu turned his music up as he strided down the hallway to the door, and pressed the upward button on the panel next to the door. The door soon opened sideways, revealing itself as a see through, glass elevator. He proceeded into the elevator slowly, and the doors shut behind him. The small room rose towards the top at a rather high speed, however, Karyu seemed unphased by it. He simply looked out the glass, analyzing the city with care, taking in every scene.
The elevator suddenly came to a halt, and Karyu stepped out of it, walking down the hallway at a calm pace. He smirked slightly as he made a left, and stopped before two wooden doors. The doors seemed to be expensive, as the handles were golden, and there was a keypad and hand scanner on the right side of it. Karyu entered the keycode and removed his leather glove, revealig his hand, and placed it gently on the scanner, and a small click could be heard. He smiled and walked through the door, turning his music to full volume. He arrived exactly on time, as he sat down on the last second and waited for his guest to arrive. As he sat down, on the cushioned seat, he sighed gently, finding this place to be true his own little heaven. Soon, he would own this company, and bring forth his own reign of domination. He sat before a long, black and white marble table, his position on that table was on the right side, facing the double doors. He bore his warm smile as he looked around at the metallic silver walls, each having some sort of Gothic design on them, and the ceiling itself having a painting on it. The room was rather large, about the size of two Headquarters company head office would be combined. Besides the spinning chairs, which were designed to be like chairs of a head corporate man with an all black color, there were a series of metallic bases connected to the wall, each individual base holding a silver, decorated nagamaki. Also on the wall were small angel statues, each holding out a plate which held twelve candles on each. At the very end of the room, also viewable from the window, was one larger statue, however, it was no angel, but a goddess instead. The dark clouds could be seen in the sky as the end wall behind the large statue was actually a large window pane, which, during the sunlight, gave off a glamourous aura around the statue of the Goddess. Higher upward, were a series of banner like flags, each bearing the national symbol of Drachma. He slendered his eyes as he awaited the arrival of the escort who was supposed to be accompanying his guest. He was to be meeting a man named Menoits to discuss the possibility of the two joining forces. He had a vision, thanks to the Goddess, of her descent, the beauty she carried with her unyielding. He sighed happily and pulled out his book, Loveless, reading the poetry to himself.

Re: Aeria Gloris (Menoitos, Karyu)
Walking through the frozen city towards the building was the homuculus Wrath, also known as Menoitos. Even in this temperature, he hadn't failed to wear the suit that he had been prided for, but he was beginning to dislike the women here. They seemed to all be rather butch... Menoitos was a womanizer - he hated butch and ugly women... Just like he hated big and ugly animals. With a sigh, he checked his watch. He was early, and that was a good thing in his books. Means that he might get paid more. The green-haired homunculus slowly made his way to the building that this contact had given him, and he carefully walked through the front door, before being promptly stopped by a large man. He blinked, as the guy asked him to remove the weapons at his sides.
Menoitos glared at him for a few seconds, and put his hands on the two blades, before drawing them, and handing them carefully to the big man. No need to get his pride and joy damaged. With a sigh, the man let him past. He hated having Skill and Finesse leave his hips, it seemed like a small part of him was being pulled away and had left his soul behind, incomplete. Then another man came up to him and spoke, solemnly.
"Mr Jisatsu is waiting for you in the conference room. Please follow me." Menoitos nodded, and began to follow the man, making sure that he wasn't acting suspiciously. Even disarmed, Menoitos was a force to be reckoned with, in the arts of hand-to-hand. With a small smirk, the homunculus was led to a pair of double doors, and they were opened, to reveal a young, red-haired man sitting at the end of a long table, reading a book. Menoitos smirked, and nodded, as the man walked out of the room, and closed the double-doors behind them.
"Would I be... incorrect to assume that you are my hirer?"

Re: Aeria Gloris (Menoitos, Karyu)
Karyu stood before the large window pane, beneath the statue of the Goddess, and watched as the hectic groups of people crowded in the streets, each with their own agenda... some whose agendas would be the death of them today. He slowly reopened his book, Loveless, and began to scan the pages with ease, as this would be his three hundreth time reading it. He owned this book his entire life, but never had he cared to not read it during his free time. He slowly walked back to his seat, and gently sat down, turning his back to the door. He suddenly heard the click of the door, and immediately knew that his guest was here, however, he did not close his book. He had finally reached Act V, his favorite act of them all. Once his contact entered the room, and made his gesture of welcome, Karyu simply replied by raising his left hand. He slowly brought it back down before he spoke aloud for Menoitos to hear.
"Even if the morrow is barren of promises, nonthing shall forestall my return. To become the dew that quenches the lands; To spare the sands, the seas, the skies, i offer thee, this silent sacrafice."
Karyu smirked after the final word, and slowly closed the book, gently placing it back in his pocket. He slowly arose to his feet, his jacket lifting slightly with every movement he made. He turned towards Menoitos, revealing his warm smile and his gentle, azure eyes. He sighed slightly and bowed, gesturing for his guest to sit down, before he walked back over to the window pane, his eyes smiling for him when his gaze fell upon the Goddess. He then spoke, his voice gentle, and smooth, carrying the scent of cherry blossoms.
"Forgive me, i have yet to have introduced myself. I am Karyu Jisatsu, but you may call me Zan, or Karyu, whichever you prefer. I have called you here for my rise to power is soon to come, and i want only the best at what they do by my side. I hear your swordsman skills are unmatched, and i also hear that you are very... diffrent from many other people, i'll suppose you know what i mean by that. I'm willing to pay you a high price if you become my personal guard, Menoitos, and i'll make sure that you live a happy life."
Karyu's music suddenly became louder, loud enough for the music to be heard in the room even though the sound came from his small earphones. He slowly turned back towards Menoitos, and smiled gently before he walked to the head of the table, and leaned on it gently. He snapped his fingers, and a man walked in, placing Menoitos' blades before him, and hurried back out of the room, closing the doors behind them. Karyu simply sat down in his black, cushioned throne like chair, and crossed his legs femininely, his eyes slendering slightly.
"Help me bring peace to the land, and end this time of chaos and corruption. Together, we can bring the light of the Goddess back to this world, and allow peace from the heavens and the Goddess' blessings to make this place happy once more. Together, we can bring about Aeria Gloris."

Re: Aeria Gloris (Menoitos, Karyu)
The homuculus' ears perked up at the sound of the poetry. He'd both read and heard the words a number of times - he owned the book, having picked it up from Aerugo on one of his trips there. LOVELESS, Act V. He smiled, and took a seat, waiting for the man to finish. Once he spoke, Menoitos began to work out the machinations of this man's mind and life. He liked to know his clients.
The first thing he noticed, was that this Karyu Jisatsu was quite... enigmatic. Definitely not your usual man. And he seemed rich - always good for your prospective clients. He smirked, and nodded once the man had finished speaking to him. He sighed, and leaned back in his seat.
"So, obviously, I am Menoitos, as you know. But if you're going to refer to me in front of others... Call me something else. We should agree to that now. I'm partial to names similar to that of the original Greek gods, if you please..." He smiled, and listened to some more of the man's words. So, that was how it was, huh? He was going to be taking the words of LOVELESS literally, and cleansing this land of it's evil. It'd put him out of a job... But Menoitos liked the sound of a peaceful world - it might actually let him have a normal life. He smiled softly, before speaking.
"When the war of the beasts brings about the world's end, The goddess descends from the sky. Wings of light and dark spread afar. She guides us to bliss, her gift everlasting... So, we are to bring the "Gift of the Goddess to the world? I may have to think on your proposal..."

Re: Aeria Gloris (Menoitos, Karyu)
Karyu nodded, agreeing to the conditions of the man's request. He reclined in his chair, taking the cushions as a sort of safe haven for his back, relaxing it of all tensions. He smiled warmly and began to make his leg dance before he snapped his fingers, summoning a man who brought them both a glass of wine, and bowed, leaving them with two bottles. Karyu chuckled slightly upon the mention of Menoitos' name being that as one of the names of a Greek God. If only he knew that Karyu's name stood for suicide... but what would that matter? Karyu simply nodded in reply to each question asked by Menoitos, and even chuckled when the man recited the prologue to the book Loveless.
"Infinite in mystery, is the gift of the Goddess. We seek it thus, taking to the sky. Two lines, that explain every single intention of mine. My friend, i hope that you will take my words to heart, and help me with this crusade to cleanse the earth."
Karyu grabbed his glass of wine, and sipped it lightly, a small smirk reching the corner of his lips. He stood up, and turned his head towards the statue of the Goddess. For only a second, the sun shined from behind the black, massed clouds of the darkness formed by the hatred of those surrounding them, and shone behind the Goddess, giving off her magnificent aura. When the sunlight faded behind the clouds, Karyu turned back towards Menoitos, and he spoke, his voice calm and smooth.
"My friend, your desire is the bringer of life, the gift of the Goddess. Menoitos, the arrow has left the bow of the Goddess, and heads towards this earth. You and I are the arrows of the Goddess! If we fight together, we can bring the light of the Goddess to this world that abhors you and I! Help me bring about the peace, the Goddess longs to see..."
When he finished his sentence, he slowly widened his arms, holding them up into the air, almost as if he was embracing the wind. His stance matched that of the Goddess, but it would be short lived, for he quickly regained his composure, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a paper.
"All i ask is that you bring about the gift of the Goddess, and help me rid the world of evil. That's what you want, is it not? A peaceful life? You know, there's a saying here in Drachma. 'Aeria Gloris', which means Heavinly Glory... do you not want to see the Heavens bring about true peace and glory to this land?"

Re: Aeria Gloris (Menoitos, Karyu)
The man simply smiled. So, he wanted to rid the world of it's pain and suffering? Of course, that would require a little bit of extra pain and suffering on the world's part... He nodded to the other man, and yawned. He had a good plan, and Menoitos liked that. With a small, secret smile, he leant back in his chair again and yawned.
"You don't need a reason to help people, you know, but in the basest sense of things, I still believe in that rule you Alchemists follow - equivalent exchange, or something like that, isn't it? So I don't have a reason to help, but I can make one. Name your price, and I'll stick by your side..." He'd tried to do some digging up on his client earlier, but come up with nothing. The guy was invisible to most people, all of his contacts hadn't dug anything up. He sighed - what was it going to take? He then stood up again, and walked over to the window, staring out over the street at the people down there, oblivious.
"The road to Hell is paved with good intentions. How do you know that what you're doing isn't wrong?" He'd already made up his mind - but he needed to know more.

Re: Aeria Gloris (Menoitos, Karyu)
Karyu smirked and took another sip of his wine before he too stood up and walked to the window, carryig a rather calm and slow stride. He stopped next to the man, and looked down at the ants scrambiling around, driving their cars and bustiling about on the streets. He sighed slightly after the man made the comment of equivalent exchange, but not a sad sigh. He slowly reached ito his pocket and pulled out a jolly rancher, popping it into his mouth before he slowly reached beneath his hair, and pulled out his earphones. The music was louder, and could be heard clearly, but that was not his intention. He carefully placed both earphones in Menoitos' ear, and smirked before speaking. He kept his voice at a normal tone, but turned the music up to full volume, causing the earphones to shake a little, for the sound was overwhelming and louder than it was before. Why? Karyu had made a few setting adjustments to the output of the sound.
"Can you still hear me? If not, then i suppose i'll have to repeat myself, which i do not often do. Everyday, i listen to my music at that level, all throughout the day, i play music over and over and over, and when i sleep. One would think i'd go deaf by now, but i can hear quite well, despite the fact that my eardrums should have been destroyed. Even as we speak, i can still hear every word you speak to me, no matter how loud the music is. This is how i know that the Goddess wishes for me to bring about peace. She has allowed me to be able to focus my mind to drown out all other things except for the one focus that i want. I once heard her voice, and it was as beautiful and smooth as the moonlight beaming down on you. Can you not hear her voice, Menoitos? With every vibration, every single sound, the Goddess is speaking to you."
Karyu tured towards the statue, and then looked back at the ground, his azure eyes filled with compassion. He bore a small smile in the left corner of his mouth, and he touched the window pane gently with his right hand. He looked straight ahead, and saw his reflectio, but within this reflection was the Goddess, or so he believed. He calmly placed his hand back to his side before taking the earphones out of Menoitos' ears, and placed them back in his own, his expression becoming serious once more. He walked back to the table and grabbed his wine glass gently, along with Menoitos'. He handed one glass to Menoitos, and rose his gently into the air before takig a sip and looking back out at the snowy skies. He chuckled slightly before he looked over at one of the bladed weapons sitting in their base, studying the designs of swirls and curves on the blades before he spoke once more.
"You name your price, and i will pay it without ay hesitation. Once this is all over, i'll even give you a bonus... you can live a normal life. Earlier... you asked me if i knew if what i was doing is right, but i did not answer. Do you know why? Simply because the answer was obvious... what i am doing is right. This land does not need to continue to purge itself in war and chaos, but with our help, we can save this earth from destruction. I have a fiancee, who's in the military, and everyday i must consistently worry about her safety because of the actios man has taken against the Goddess with their lust for chaos and power. I want us to be able to live a normal life, don't you, brat(brother)."

Re: Aeria Gloris (Menoitos, Karyu)
The homunculus blinked, he couldn't hear a word the man was saying. The music was just too loud for him. He closed his eyes, and tried to focus around the sounds that were working their way into his mind, and he began to hear it. No, it wasn't Karyu's voice. It was more... feminine. He looked up at the statue, and thought that... was it talking to him? He could hear a woman's voice, the Goddess...
After that, he blacked out, and hit the ground, the headphones falling out of his ears, and his mind finally returning to normal. Menoitos groaned, and pushed himself up off the carpeted floor, ears ringing. He closed his eyes tightly, and stood up shakily. He was pretty sore, and moved over to another chair, and sat down rubbing his forehead. He looked over at Karyu, and realised that the man was quite possible out of his mind. But he wanted to get paid, and if it brought some sort of peace to the world, then it was worth it. He sighed, and stood back up again, finally standing without shaking.
"I agree to your terms. But I want to know more, be more than just a bodyguard. I don't think that I could handle a job like this, not without being informed..."

Re: Aeria Gloris (Menoitos, Karyu)
Karyu smirked as the man finally fainted, and looked back out the window pane. When Menoitos returned to his feet, Karyu helped him up and to his seat. The man must have experienced the voice of the Goddess, her calling towards the man. Many would have called Karyu crazy at this point, but to experience the voice of the Goddess should have been proof enough. He walked back towards the window pane, and his music on his phone changed to an elegant piano and violin piece that played the tune and most beautiful voice of the Goddess he ever experienced. He closed his eyes, embracing the warmth that radiated from the statue of the Goddess behind him, and finally spoke, breaking the long, cold silence.
"Her voice... was truly beautiful, wasn't it?"
He touched the window pane with he tip of his fingers, however, he only did so wit his right hand. He smiled warmly at his reflection, seeing the Goddess before him. He listened to each refined piece of the music, her voice bringing about true piece. The music suddenly picked up a more upbeat pace, bringing with it more instruments, one of which being drums and diffrent types of horns. He started rock back and forth moving with the music, enjoying himself a little. However, once Meoitos asked for more information, he stopped dancing, his arm placed over his stomach, and his entire upper body leaning over, his eyes slendered, and his smile gone. He slowly stood up straight, and turned back to Menoitos, not knowing what to say anymore.
"Fine, i want you to be much more than a body guard. I intend to take over this business one day, this building, is actually home to an elite group of assassins. I could raise an entire army, and with your help, Lt. Colonel, i believe we could make everyone experience the Godesses' voice, just as you did."
