DESCRIPTION:
→ Andric is somewhat small compared to others, only topping off to 5'9". However, what he lacks in height he makes up in strength. He is someone that cares about his body and treats it like a temple. He never stops training, eats healthy, and doesn't smoke. His posture is something that is lacking, however. Ever since he was a child he slouched, but when he joined the military he had to quit it. He has gotten better over the years, but he still has a long ways to go.
Andric has long, jet-black hair that he likes to spike upwards. He has an odd shade of light blue eyes. In fact, when he was born his parents and the doctor were surprised by this, because both of his parents have hazelnut eyes. He is more tan tan all of his comrades because of the immense amount of PT he does in the sun every day.
When Andric is off duty he tends to dress casually. You can normally find him wearing khaki cargo shorts, sneakers, a white undershirt, and a button up shirt (unbuttoned of course).
Oh yeah, did i forget to mention he has two automail arms and legs? Yeah, he lost both of his arms and legs in combat the first year he got out of the academy (he was 19) in the Cretan Royal Task Force. He now has state-of-the-art automail limbs that help him exponentially on the battlefield. On the palms of his hands he has engraved two different alchemical arrays that allow him to use fire based alchemy for combat.

PERSONALITY:
→ Andric is a very serious person on the battlefield. He lives by one simple rule and that one rule is to “Get it done!” After “the accident” (when he lost his arms and legs) he told himself he would never take combat for granted. He also values human life much more. That day was the first day he ever saw one of his friends die, right in front of his own eyes. He now leads his troops with the tenacity to get every one of them back home safely and would give his life to save the life of anyone, from the highest general to the lowest private. Andric has also somewhat developed PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), as he feels he is the reason another soldier died and he could have prevented it.
When Andric is off duty, however, he is a completely different person. He is one of the most upbeat and outgoing individuals you will ever meet. He likes to relax, hang out, and have fun. He can literally go to bed at 2am and wake up at 6am to get to work and be just as upbeat as if he had slept a full 12 hours. Hardly anything can diminish his warm and comforting smile. Andric constantly is training his body 24/7. When he wakes up, he does exercises, when he’s cooking he does exercises; he even does exercises when he’s driving! (He should probably stop that now that I think of it…) He treats his body the way it should be treated, with respect and care. Along with exercising, he also eats right, doesn’t do drugs, and never smokes. Andric is also a very studious person; you can find him studding a lot. He likes to read books about alchemy, guns, dogs, really anything. However, the one thing he likes to read about the most is Roy Mustang, who was his childhood hero and still is today.
LOVE:
→ Alchemy, Firearms, Dogs, Fall, Camping, Hiking, Exercise
HATE:
→ Winter, Spring, People who harm animals, Thieves, Not knowing what to do
DEEPEST SECRET:
→ Anytime one of his comrades dies in battle, Andric feels insanely guilty about it. Even if he wasn't close to being involved, he feels that he could have prevented it somehow. He feels depressed and ashamed for a while after it happens. That is why he takes combat so seriously and would do anything for a fellow soldier.
IDOL:
→ Roy Mustang; the Flame Alchemist. He is the reason Andric started studying the combative uses of Alchemy and his legend has helped shape Andric into the Alchemist he is today.
...........................................................................
HISTORY:
→ The rush of bullets flying by, the thrill of explosions surrounding his body, this is what Andric Stryker lives for. Andric Stryker is a soldier in the Cretan Royal Task Force. He was born and raised in the city of London, Crete to Philomena and Franklin Stryker. Franklin Stryker was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Cretan Royal Task Force and Philomena Stryker was an Alchemist from Amestris. They met when Franklin was deployed to Amestris to aid it’s armies in repelling invaders. They saw each other in a refugee camp and it was love at first sight. Franklin promised her that when he was sent home he would return and he would take her and her family to Crete. Long-story-short, he’s sent home, they get married, and have a kid; Andric.
Growing up Andric was taught marksmanship by his father and alchemy by his mother. When he was 8 he used alchemy for the first time, successfully fixing a vase his dog, Caesar, broke. At around the age of 14, Andric began to read stories about the Ishval Civil War and one person in particular, Roy Mustang, the Flame Alchemist. This sparked [Get it? Flame Alchemy joke? No… ok… ] the idea in him for flame alchemy. He began to question his mother about how to use fire as a weapon with alchemy. She was so shocked by this question that she dropped the plate she was washing. Later that day Philomena had a conversation with Franklin about Andric and his sudden interest in combat alchemy. They had finally realized that their little boy was not only going be a soldier, but possibly a great alchemist too. A few days later they sent Andric to Amestris to be a student under his uncle Don.
Under Don’s teachings Andric learned far more in alchemy than he could have ever hoped to. He learned how to transmute equipment, structures, and even weapons. He also learned the basics of using fire as a weapon. Then came his ultimate test. He had spent 2 years with his uncle Don, exercising, learning, and practicing, and now he had to prove that these 2 years were not a waste. Andric had to successfully hunt and kill an elusive Chimera that was harassing the local populace of the next town over. As Andric prepared his gear, Don gave him two things, a set of pyrotex alchemy gloves, and advice, “Get it done!” In the woods Andric stalked his pray for 5 days, learning its habits, food sources, den, and routine. On the sixth day, Andric struck. He ran out of the bushes without warning, fireballs raging. He charged the beast with all his might but was out-maneuvered by the deadly Chimera and fell victim to its sharp jaws. The beast tore through his skin like a warm knife through butter and left him for dead. He managed to run away deeper into the woods until the beast stopped chasing him. He eventually found a river spring where he washed his wounds and rested. He laid there for 3 days until a search party went looking for him. They found him battered, bloody, and defeated. This was the lowest point of his life. He was supposed to emerge victorious and prove that these two years weren’t a waste, but it seemed they were. Luckily, Don wasn’t going to let Andric quit on himself, after recovering, he made him work x2 as hard. Flash forward 2 more years and Andric is on the eve of his 18th birthday and his 2nd training is complete. His final task, the Chimera, is at hand again. He returned to the same village, the same woods, the same den, to see that the beast hasn’t changed one bit. Same habits, same routine, same everything. This time, Andric set a trap. He baited a clearing with fresh elk meat and waits. Eventually the Chimera comes around and takes the bait, that’s when Andric strikes. He drove his freshly transmuted spear through the Chimera’s right eye and incinerated the other. He then pulled out his knife and drove it through the beast’s chest. Finally, he burned the Chimera to a crisp and ripped out one of its claws for proof of his victory. He lugged back the body so the villagers can use its meat for food, skin for clothes, and claws for tools. As Andric returns to Don he feels victorious, and they have a massive feast in his honor. Shortly after he departed for home he enlisted in the military.
“LEFT, LEFT, LEFT RIGHT LEFT!” is something Andric has become used to by now. After passing within the Top 5 for marksmanship in the academy and the Top 10 for Academics, Andric was set for success. He had been with the military for a full year now and was dying for combat. He was so ecstatic when he got the order to pack his gear and get ready for the flight to the north most tip of Crete bordering Drachma to save a mining settlement from a secret Drachman attack. On the way there he was so jittery and jumpy that his fellow subordinates thought he was taking some sort of drug and his CO even asked him if he had, ”Come into contact with any strange powders recently?” He explained it was the thrill of the impending battle. One of the senior officers from his squad told him, “Shut your yap! Combat isn’t glorious; it’s a real shit-storm.” When they touched down in a clearing 5 klicks away there was a bad vibe going from soldier-to-soldier, something was off. But they pressed on until dawn. They entered the town cautiously, looking for any signs of trouble, but it was deserted. As they reached the center of town Andric heard a distinctive ping of a pin being pulled from a grenade and yelled, “GRENADE! Get down!” And that’s when it became a real shit-storm. Bullets flew in from every direction, it was an ambush! Men after Men fell but the Squad got to its feet and returned fire. The town was in ruin the minute the fighting started. The soldiers filed into a building and set defensive posts to repel the Drachman infantry. Wave after wave, squad after squad charged their building. There must have been at least 100 soldiers in that ambush! Finally they repelled the invaders and called for medevac for the dead and wounded. Then the squad broke up and went looking for the town’s populace. Andric cautiously entered a residential home and searched every corner of it until he found a secret basement. He opened the steel latch and heard three words, “For Mother Drachma!” before he passed out.
When he woke up 1 month later from a coma he found out there was a small group of Drachman soldiers hiding in the cellar and one of then blew off his arms and legs with an IED. After he passed out his squad killed the soldiers and did emergency first aid while waiting for the medevac to come. He was the first one on and off the helicopter and into the operating room where they pulled out shrapnel, bullets, and sewed the wounds shut. The doctors told him he was lucky just to be sitting there in that hospital bed. Later that day he was visited by everyone he knew, his parents, his uncle, all the people from his squad, and then his CO that was with him at the battle. He was told he had two options, “Sit there like a lousy cripple and retire, or get automail prosthetics and continue fighting. The choice was simple for Andric, he would keep on fighting. The surgery was painful and the physical therapy was hard on his body, but he finally walked out of the hospital on his own two feet. Andric continues on to serve with the Cretan Royal Task Force, using his automail limbs to run faster, jump higher, and out-perform the enemy.

TRIVIA:
→ Andric has four Automail limbs; two arms and two legs. On the back of his Automail hands he has had custom engraved alchemical arrays that allow him to use flame based alchemy. Also, built into his palms are two sparkers that allow him to ignite the gases in the air.
→ Andric's childhood Dog, Caesar, is a White German Shepard that his Dad found as a pup while he was deployed to Drachma. He brought Caesar home as a Christmas gift for Andric.
→ Andric enlisted as a regular soldier instead of an Alchemist because he felt he could better use his marksmanship skills as a primary means to attack and his Alchemical skills as a secondary way to attack and defend himself.
→ Andric is fluent in Cretan, Amestrian, and Drachman.

REVISE~
PERSONALITY: 157 words short. Admittedly, for me anyways, it's the hardest section to write, but 300 is the minimum. Painful, but necessary. ^_^;;
Otherwise, an excellent app, and from his History, I see you'll be a great person to RP with. ^^ Always good to see someone with such writing talent and whatnot. So fix Personality, and you'll be all set!

APPROVED~
S'all good, s'all good. Be sure thought to play that PTSD right and proper though, because I took AP Psychology last year, and Hollywood Psych makes me cringe internally. 8D Mostly kidding, though, I won't beat you up if you don't play it to a tee. lawl
Great app, on a sidenote. :3 Can't wait to RP with you.
