On the palms of both of these gloves is the above array. These lightweight black tactical gloves are rarely put on by Ken but he usually keeps them tucked away in a pocket in case he is forced to use such methodologies.

BRIEFING:
→ Scar is a simplistic Alkahestry that uses the a simple array to manipulate human flesh in a bastardization of the Healing School of alkahestry. First let’s break down the array and then we’ll move onto the effects and the affected.

The array for the “Scar” Alkahestry is a square contained within three circles. Also included are a pair of nodes that interact with the primary and secondary circles with the alchemical symbol for Carbon. The circles and square are the requirements to break down matter in more wholesome parts than at the atomic or molecular level and have it interact with objects technically outside of the array. The left and right nodes of the array are each designed with a purpose in mind. The right one pulls carbon from the body to be used in the final phase of the transmutation while the left pushes it forcibly back into the flesh after it has been heated and contained in the center circle. The nodes within the array bring in and push out carbon from the original substance used as a way to break down and rapidly repair the affected with heat from the rapid transfer. However, with the square contained in the tertiary circle, the reaction does not take place more than a handful of centimeters of the array thanks to its design of containment.

The “Scar” Alkahestry rapidly breaks down and repairs the flesh of a living in a painful manner that causes rapid scarification alongside the incredible pain. With the array designed as it is, this requires a full palmed touch from Kenneth in order to be used. The way this alkahestry works in concept is simple. In what was probably originally a battlefield cauterizing array Kenneth has found the design to break down flesh rapidly to open shallow but painful wounds before using the very carbon he is breaking down to sear the flesh shut again and force almost instant scarring. He designed this technique to assist with torturing people during investigations of a much darker nature.

EXPERT HACKER: When you disregard most practical combat exercises you get very good at other skills with the freed up time. Rather than developing his body and combat skills in the Military Academy or Boot Camp, Kenneth focused on his other skills and became quite adept with his computer skills. This knowledge of electronic devices, their connectivity, their weaknesses and their strengths put him ahead of the curve when it came to a knowledge on how to compromise those same systems.
