The day was new, early with pinks and reds retreating and the sun breaking the surface of the horizon. Birds chirped, people were about, but silently rushing. An occasional jogger brushed by. The sounds of the day were just like any other, with a cool wind and the distant beeping of horns and roar of engines. People turned corners and hurried to jobs and children went to schools. Amadi found herself simply pacing, but not back and forth. Instead, she paced the city. The whole area of sidewalks had been a path before and were so again, now. The clank of her metal normally attracted attention, but slowly it became as routine as her patrols. Just because she was a guard, didn't mean she was at Wolfgang's side all the time. He'd probably go insane if she were (though some begged to say he already was).

Her walk brought her farther from the city and in the distance, the boons could be seen. Not much happened but drug dealings and sometimes teenagers snuck off to make out, but otherwise it was just a bunch of old buildings rarely used. Amadi was still going to check, of course, because otherwise that would be silly. Large lance in hand, she approached the building. From what she could tell, she saw no 'suspicious activity' and turned away. Most people would find such a walk to be dreadfully uneventful, but the White Knight always enjoyed such exercises. They helped sharpen her skills and keep her on her toes. Nonetheless, she supposed she could head back now. However.. something felt.. odd in the air. A bad feeling sat in the pit of her stomach and she stopped walking to think on it. A good distance from the building, she turned to stare hard at it one more time.

"Oh, fuck. Fuck, fuck, FUCK!" The preparations had been perfect. The charges and explosives had been set at the correct places, and all that was left for him to do was evacuate the premises and detonate the charges. But what had gone wrong? Obviously he had realized his mistake, when the sound of a sizzling fuse came to his attention. Of course, there was absolutely no possible way for him to fix this mistake, so the only thing he could do was run--but he really didn't know how long he had left before it took him down with it. Turning on his heel, the man in the blue clothing started to sprint out of the building that he was in. He was two stories above ground, but that was no reason for him to try and get down those stairs--especially if he didn't want to be left behind in a pile of rubble for the Gelemortian authorities to find.

Why was he here, again? Oh, right. The building that he was standing in was, at night, a warehouse for a rather potent drug that had been hitting the streets of Creta as of late. While it was quite easy for any of the Gelemortian authorities to get to it, it was instead placed upon the Spectre office desk. Sam was there, and since it seemed like a pretty easy demolition job, he got into his Spitfire and headed off without a hitch. Now, it is true that the magnetic fields around Gelemorte fuck with your navigation systems--they completely screwed with Sam's--but it just so happens that Sam is a skilled enough pilot to get through it. So once he'd landed, he almost immediately set off to do what he needed to do to this building, up until this moment.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuuuuuuck!" Leaping out of the window with a crash as the explosives went off behind him, Sam found himself flying through the air with the greatest of ease, though right now he really wished that he had a trapeze. The hard ground was there, and as he coiled up his body to attempt to soften his landing, he suddenly realized that he'd left the kettle on at home. "Goddamni--unf." As he hit the ground and rolled, the man found himself cursing the hardiness of his dynamite--because that landing really wasn't soft. He rolled out onto his back and looked up into the air with pained eyes and a groan. "Owwww...."

Amadi could feel the gentle sprinkle of debris that littered upon her when something exploded. What- had just happened? 'Tink, timk!' She blinked and turned to face the eruption. Bits and pieces were thrown everywhere including a bod-y WHAT?! Now normal reaction would be to catch the man and be a hero, however Amadi had a body of metal. This of course meant that she, instead, dodged to the side. It would probably have killed him if she caught him, after all, metal was hell of a lot harder than the ground, likely.. if he lived. That made her wonder.. did he survive? Her eyes peered over, curious. Most people would probably die in such a situation, but it seemed that the man was still breathing...

And groaning. It hurt he implied with an 'owee'. To be honest, she was surprised enough that he was breathing! Amadi walked over in her bulky armor and looked down. His face had such pain.. but his chest was moving. Just to make sure, she slid a gauntlet off and reached down to check a pulse. After which, she put her hands within the gantlets and straightened. The accent of his groans was something like Cretan, so she took a wild guess in hopes that was so. "Sir, We would advise medical attention. Are you bleeding? Can you stand?" Should we carry you?"
