DESCRIPTION:
→ Jerard "J-122" is rarely seen without his armoured helmet and chest-piece on, but underneath these, he isn't far past a normal man; even ruggedly-attractive by some standards. His skin is fair if ever so slightly olive-tan from his mixed heritage, with green-hazel eyes and what would be black hair had it not been shaven down to the scalp. Across his short eyebrows and forehead are the results of many cuts; the skin pitted and marked with the scar-tissue of wounds delivered.

He's strong for his size; broad shoulders and well defined muscle structure across his neck and torso from years of physical exercise; the only organic parts left of the would-be machine more than well maintained. Whilst not totally devoid of body fat, however, Jerard is still easily considered on the healthier end of the spectrum.

While out of his armour, Jerard wears a rather utilitarian outfit; a mechanic's overalls atop a simple shirt. While Jerard has no shame in his auto-mail limbs, the overalls allow for more pockets; more spaces to hold tools and other such items necessary for his job. Outside of his armour, Jerard's voice is rather quiet and tame, considering the size of the man, somewhat toward the baritone spectrum but only just.

Within his armour though, Jerard becomes something altogether different; far more machine than man. An armoured helmet and chest-piece complete what the auto-mail limbs start; Jerard's appearance being that of a bipedal, mechanized terror.

PERSONALITY:
→ Jerard is something of an economist and utilitarian; in that if something doesn't work, there's no point in keeping it around even for aesthetic purposes. Jerard seems quite to-the-point in discussion, almost to the point that a stunted social aptitude becomes plausible; almost flatly refusing small talk and banter to simply get to the point of the conversation and move on.

Jerard's nature in such a way stems from his belief, between years of engineering study and experience with his automail limbs, that machines are superior to humans; the beauty of the human mind unable to compete with the cold precision of the mechanical. While Jerard is able and fully capable of feeling emotions, as he is still human (loathe to admitting it), he does his best to suppress them despite what long-term mental degradation this would cause. Despite this, Jerard does have something of a short fuse, specifically when dealing with repeated failure, and has flown into an anger-driven tirade on a handful of occasions.

While socially passive and rather aloof, Jerard can and will hold a conversation if he must, though finding it far more comfortable talking to his computer than, say, his commanding officer, preferring the autonomous text messaging and emails over face-to-face discussion.

Inside of work, Jerard is single-minded to the task set; approaching the problem with an intense level of concentration and tenacity as if singling it out from the entire world. As such, he is somewhat incapable of thinking too far ahead; preferring to focus on the smaller picture and perfect it at the expense of the larger picture later on.

While inside his armour suit, however, Jerard gains a bit of confidence; far more willing to socialize or at least a little more vocal about matters, even if still heavily leaning toward the logical and not the visceral.

LOVE:
→ Engines
Machinery.
Hand to Hand Combat.
Consumer Electronics.
The smell of grease and oil.
Wiring diagrams and machine blueprints.
Music (Seeing it as the sound of mathematics, not so much an art)

HATE:
→ Messing up repairs.
Cleaning gunk from his Auto-mail limbs.
Sweating/getting an itch whilst in his suit.
Frivolous conversation, or conversation based on mood.
Losing/Lending out tools and not getting 'em back.
Equipment in poor repair/maintenance.

HISTORY:
→ Born, raised and educated in London, Cretia, Jerard comes from a mixed-culture family; A Cretan mother and a Gelemortian-migrant father. Jerard's father, a GP doctor, was often away from the home due to work, and whilst young Jerard wanted for nothing, he felt as if his mother was the only parental role in his life.

Encouraged to enter a sporting hobby at a young age to balance his school studies, young Jerard was enrolled into the youth classes of a local karate school at the young age of eight; a hobby that would become a cornerstone of Jerard's life; a stress relief when things went wrong, something to keep himself fit, busy and off of the streets. One class a week soon became two, or three, and where Jerard focused on one style, as a teenager his studies would include judo, kickboxing and taekwon-do.

Academically, Jerard's high-school life went by relatively easily; the teenager taking a very curious interest in the subjects of engineering and biology, and how the two could be worked together. The presence of auto-limbed figures around the school and out and about in the world had Jerard intrigued, indeed, about the possibilities for the technology. During his late high-school years, Jerard had several short-lived relationships.

Graduating at eighteen with flying colours, Jerard was quick to submit applications to the University of London, specifically focused on the Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, to which he was accepted without problem; his parents completely accepting of their son's chosen profession.

Six years went by, mishaps and achievements in all, before Jerard was able to claim he had completed his study. While the lucrative offer of a Master's degree loomed, Jerard was keen to put his newly-learnt skills to the real test; enlisting into the RTF's engineer corps months after graduating.

Over the next ten years of service, Jerard helped to design, maintain and repair more vehicles for the RTF than he would have liked to have thought possible; loving every minute of the challenge. Being within the armed services, he found people who also shared in his love of the martial arts; often in down-time Jerard could be found sparring with the more combat-active RTF footmen.

It wasn't until age thirty-four that Jerard suffered his biggest mishap. On removing a rather large engine from a damaged personnel carrier, the support hoist broke; dropping the heavy machinery clean down on the helpless engineer. The accident claimed Jerard's left arm entirely; from shoulder down the arm had been thoroughly crushed.

Amputation had been a given, it was a matter of whether or not Jerard was willing to undergo Auto-mail prosthesis or not. Having seen what machinery could do, and certainly not desiring to be left with merely one arm, Jerard willingly accepted the painful procedure.

It was in the following years that the engineer's mindset began to take a turn for the bizarre. Unlike his flesh-and-blood right arm, his automail arm never faltered, never tired, was needle-pin precise and rock-steady without fail. Combined with an overall fascination of machinery and awareness of the apparent 'weakness' of flesh, Jerard spent a good portion of his own money in not only upgrading his mechanical arm, but replacing each of his organic limbs for 'superior' auto-mail ones. And the psychosis didn't stop there, not at all...

Arguing that his auto-mail limbs served him better than flesh and bone ever could, a thirty-seven year old Jerard reasoned that machinery was indeed truly superior to the flesh. While he couldn't become a fully fledged mechanical creature of his own right, there was certainly nothing stopping him in getting as close as he could.

Using what funds he had saved from years of study grants, pay-packets from service tours in the RTF, and careful investments, Jerard went about procuring the high grade metals and components required to build a fully enclosed, armoured helmet complete with an electronic voice-box, chest-piece and armour plating for his auto-mail limbs. It took him half a year to build the suit, but once it was complete, Jerard took to it like a second skin, going so far as to paint the heavy armour plates with blues and greens so as to add a completed look.

The final 'nail' in Jerard's state of humanity was his name, a name discarded not long after his new appearance became known; the friendly combat-engineer Jerard became the cold-voiced, head-to-toe mechanical being named J-122.

REVISE

Just a few details, nothing big.

Loves/hates list, please make it into a list instead of bullets

Trivia: Put and color languages here. For example since he's from Creta, He likely speaks Cretan

History: Creta (You spelled it Cretia XD )

Face Claim: You need to put in the show/character information like from the template. If he's an original drawing, then remove that completely.

I think that's about it Fix it up and you should be good.
