Killing time in Central.

Stepped out of Central HQ after a long hard day of paperwork and rules. God this military stuff was tedious. Kierian gave out a small yawn as the stone steps clacked underneath his heavy boots and the twenty-four year old red head set out to explore his new home. He hadn’t been in Central long and it seemed to be quite a long way from Xenotime, but it was a nice change from the mining city. The usual cursing he heard throughout the streets of his hometown were replaced by a city of elegance, a city that he could see himself raising some children in if he got there. Slowly the man would reach into his uniform pocket and take out a jawbreaker that he had on him from earlier this morning. As he turned the first corner away from the HQ he would slip it into his mouth and continue on, sucking at the sugary layers of hard candy. "Mmmm, Lemony!" The man said as he got a nice big taste of the candy in his mouth. Kierian gazed up at the sky and looked out into the spring day that surrounded him. The air was especially cool and calm today, the young alchemist could feel it in his bones. Nothing to worry about, nothing to do but kill some time. Ah, now how to waste the rest of the day?

"Ah, at least it's nice out.." Pierce muttered as she walked. Pierce had been given another one of Kelly's jobs, because he was too lazy to get off his fat ass and do it himself. This happened so often, that Pierce was hardly at home anymore. Hardly gave her time for herself, or her art. Which really was a pain in the ass. How on Earth was she supposed to get better if she couldn't practice? It felt as if Pierce would be stuck in this military shtick for a long ways to come...

"Hmpf, screw you Kelly," she mumbled. Pierce loved her cousin Kelly, but sometimes he was the biggest pain in the ass to ever live. With a heavy sigh, Pierce continued her long walk. She planned on heading back to her hotel to get some sleep. Alone tonight; preferably. Lately Pierce hasn't had any interest to get in bed with someone. Could it be low sex drive? Maybe she hasn't been attracted to anyone lately? Or it could possibly be the disgust she holds for herself. The latter is the most likely. As her thoughts began to distract her, Pierce was brought back into the real world when she bumped into someone abruptly. "Ah- sorry," she muttered, not bothering to look up.
